Components vanishing when focus brought back

Am seeing this behaviour in my swing Application. I have a Jtree component and a JTabbedPane which shows up when I select a JTree node. The panel displays well first time and then I bring over some other running application (say a browser) on top. On regaining the focus on the Swing app, my JTabbedPane vanishes from the view. I have to reselect the tree node to get back the view. Why is this happening?
Some paint issues I am unaware of?

Arghhhhh ... my bad ... had stupidly forgotten to properly remove components before adding new ones. Was calling revalidate on the Panel which contained the TabbedPane after removing older components and adding new ones.
Anyway ... Thanks izrailov for attempting to look up. Ya code would have been helpful ... will make sure to have some snippets in future ...

AS2 Components vanish or get severely corrupted when placed on a layer below an Imported symbol.
Very easy to reporduce:
Flash CS4 create a new AS2 FLA called Share.fla
Create an empty MovieClip symbol in the library and set its properties to export for runtime sharing URL: "Share.swf".
Build.
Now create another new AS2 FLA in same folder called TestShare.fla.
Create an empty MovieClip symbol in the library and set it's properties to "Import for runtime sharing" URL: "Share.swf".
Drop an instance of this empty symbol in frame 1 layer 1.
Create a second layer and drop an instance of any Component from the components panel for example the Button component.
Build.
The component appears as a blank square block.
If you add a trace statement to the components constructor you'll see it is never called.
Now swap the layers, drag layer 2 above layer 1 and build again.
Now the component shows just fine.
You might say so just swap the layers and carry on but this is simplified example to demonstrate the problem, in practice I have many shared libraries containing many component and many apps with many layers and I've been shuffling the layers for what seems like an eternity and found that there is no order that will work for everything. If anyone can explain this behaviour or suggest a permanent work around I would be very grateful.

Thought I would attach the source so just unzip and build TestShare.fla you'll see the Button component, then swap layers 1 and 2 and rebuild and you will see just an empty Button frame. Would love to find an answer to this.

We are using SAP SRM to punch out external catalogs. Firefox version 3.5 and below works fine and the items from the catalogs are brought back to SRM .But when we use version 3.6.12 the items are not getting transferred back to SRM from the Catalogs.

SRM is a procurement system from SAP which we use to purchase goods and service. We have external catalogs like officemax, cdw etc which we punchout the items and bring it to SRM for ordering.
When we use firefox version 3.5 and below the items which we add from the Catalogs are correctly brought back to SRM for us to order. But when we use versions 3.6.12 the items are not brought back to SRM.
Internet Explorer 7 and 8 works fine. Is there anyway you can help us.

Hi,
Firstly I would suggest you to upgrade your database from Oracle Release 11.2.0.1.0 to Oracle Release 11.2.0.2 . This is the recommended Oracle 11g database version for SAP solutions. Many of your problem will get resolved with it.
Question 1:
So my first question would be is there any other suggestions besides adjusting the mentioned parameter above in order to ensure that no work processors going into hang state due to RFCs' occupying it as this issue always happens at the end of the month only when there are massive users accessing it.
For immediate resolution the approach you have followed is correct viz limiting number of dialog processes for RFC. Secondly you need to analyze why RFC processing takes so much time. You need check which programs are getting executed by those RFC.
Generate EarlyWatch report for more detailed view
Question 2:
My second question is what went wrong with the libttsh11.so file. How could it be 0 size in PRD when no signs of changes had happen to the PRD system. Is this a proven Oracle Bug or something else since I have never encountered anything like this before.
The libttsh11.so library cannot be found in the related directory.
Cause
The file system is mounted using CIO option, but per Note 257338.1 Direct I/O (DIO) and Concurrent I/O (CIO) on AIX 5L, an ORACLE_HOME on a filesystem mounted with "cio" option is not supported.
Such a configuration will cause, installation, relinking and other unexpected problems.
Solution
Disable the CIO option on the filesystem.

The password is correct (I'm able to check my e-mail through my browser at me.com), but for some reason Mail keeps on rejecting it. I usually don't have to input my password at all in Mail. Any clue how to fix this? I haven't changed anything at all on my laptop.

It seemed to have worked ok and all of my songs are there but when you try to play them, they just dont play.
Ive tried putting a cd in and that wont read or play.
Ive gone on to the itunes store and tried playing a song there,when I click on the play button the blue circle activates but just continues in a clockwise rotation but doesn't play.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

THank you Ogelthorpe. When my wife's computer I went on line to the site that you sent and tried everything But nothing worked. When my son came to visit and his MacBook Pro did exactly the same thing we became suspicious - too much of a coincidence. We took both computers somewhere else, out of our apartment, and they both booted. We ran disk utility on both, but the report in both cases was that there are no issues with the hard drive. Back in our apartment neither will boot up. My MacBook Pro is a later model with a solid state drive and it seems to work fine here.. I tried an external drive and it works fine. We think that this has something to do with some kind of magnetic interference in our apartment to which the 2009 drives are susceptible. It is indeed a mystery!

With ios 7 there is a new feature that shows you all the music you purchased with your apple id. You can disable this by going to settings/music/show all-off. Also this helps with saving data usage if you do not have unlimited data.

There is your problem. DVDs that ship with a Mac are machine specific. You will need to purchase a retail copy of the DVD $29.

Hi,
I need to capture the event when form focus comes back to calling form.
I am using KFF in my custom form and want to perform a set activities when users presses "Cancel" button of KFF instead of "OK" button.
I guess KFF screen is an another form which is being called from my custom form.

FCPX 10.1.3 Project vanishes when a new project is created in the same event

I've been working on avery complicated project all day with multiple layered clips with key frame animations, colour effects etc. All was fine until I opened a new project in the same event which I was going to use to create some effects sequences for the main project. When I went back to the original project it was empty. Tried the Undo function in case I had done anything stupid but it was greyed out. Went to the FCPX backups and the last file was almost 2 hours old but did not have any sign of this project. The only thing I have left is all the imported media.
Any ideas? Using FCPX 10.1.3. This is really annoying as all I have left is an h264 file of the almost complete project and it will be almost impossible to start from scratch.

The edited project was 60 seconds making up an intricate title sequence involving 24 video segments and 48 png/ PSD files. Had a brain storm and was wondering if there is anyway the the project could move to another event so currently going through all the event folders on my FCPX edit drive. I just can't see how a project can just vanish.

You don't say which version of iTunes you are using, but the symptoms you describe have been encountered by some users with the 64-bit version of iTunes 12.1.
There is an alternative version for 64-bit editions of Windows here:
iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)
that seems to address the most of the playback issues that some users have been reporting with the full 64-bit version of 12.1.0.77 - including problems with Bluetooth speakers where either sound is degraded or completely absent. The alternative installer here is the same architecture as most previous "64-bit" versions of iTunes, i.e., a 32-bit application with a 64-bit installer. The "for older video cards" label appears to be something of a misnomer as some people have reported that this corrects problems found on current / high-spec systems.
Some users have reported that after installing this alternative version it is necessary to adjust the "Play audio using" selection (normally to "Direct Sound" rather than "Windows Audio Session", though this may vary based on your audio hardware/drivers) in Edit > Preferences > Playback to restore glitch-free audio (one part of the reported symptoms is that the "Direct Sound" choice isn't available, usually in Windows 8). It may also be necessary to ensure that your Bluetooth speakers are active and selected as the default audio device before you run iTunes.
If this doesn't address the issue, you may want to think about reverting to iTunes 12.0 - see Turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for steps needed to completely remove all installed iTunes components, and for links to the 12.0 installers.

That's grade A stupid. No current Adobe app will function other than on its original install location due to the many auxilairay components and of course the licensing system being required. If it asks you dfor a serial from there or even refuses to launch, you realyl mustn't wonder. if it was installed properly on a internal drive and still triggers the warning, you may have another Adobe product interfering and you may need to reset the licensing database and all that. The issue you are experiencing is with installing the latest iTunes update. I recommend following the steps below:
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
I understand that you have already uninstalled iTunes, but when you get to this step, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.
