Compute formula for forecasting
Hello,
I want to compute the formula for reorder point in the system which includes min inventory + safety stock + daily consumption while doing forecasting for a material.
The automatic reorder point type MRP is set for the material masters & forecasting is done for the same.
But when the reorder point is computed through system , it does not match with the manually computed reorder point.
Can anyone tell me any method to incorporate this manual formula into the system?

I'm trying to create a compute field in Interactive Report in APEX 3.
There are two fields: 'Plan Type' and 'Product Type'.
I want to create Compute Field - 'My Check'
Condition is as follows:

I guess the above code will mark 'YFY11 PRREC' as 'CHECK' because it is different from 'YFY11 OUREC'.
But according to my second case criteria, it should be marked as 'OK' because...
BH = 'Y'
T does not begin with 'FY11 OU'
AL ends with 'REC'.
Currently I'm running filtering with your formula. But it is taking too long time. I guess there are too many lines matching with this criteria.

Fox formula for actual/plan data - Planning function
Hello,
I am working on the following scenarios for developing a planning functions for a monthly forecast.
It is rolling montly forcast where user starts the planning in Jan and he has to show the actaul value for the month of Jan and blank values for the remaining 11 months of the year and then the user post his new forecast values for the remain 11 of the year(to replace initial balnk values) so that the data will be saved to real time cube with version v108
In Feb, Jan & Feb months has to show the act values and remaining 10 months has to show last month forecast data. The the user may revise the forecast for the 10 months and then we have to write the data to the real time cube with version v208
In Mar, Jan, Feb and Mar has to show the actual values and the reamining 9 months has to show the last month forecast and then users may revise the forecast data and then i have to write back to the cube with version v308.
I want to automate this process for all the months and all years without manual intervention. So, i decideed to write a fox formula for this scenario with following draft code.
I will get the fy period & year as a variable values and then take the system date into the variable
for each fy period
if the fy perio <= sys date.

result will be calculated on the separe routine and populated here

If I 've understood u r problem clearly ,You have to write two Fox Functions and you can call exit variable in both to check the system date.
I think first you should create exit varriable which would return the system date,use the same variable in data slice to lock the data till current period.
After that create one fox restricted with any one version where you can copy the data for planning .for example:-
1)First Fox:-
DATA TIM_FISCPER TYPE 0FISCPER.
TIM_REF_FISCPER = VARV(ZEXIT_FPER).
Get the last month
version using modlue or any another logic .(v108)
FOREACH TIM_FISCPER.
IF TIM_FISCPER <= TIM_REF_FISCPER.
{0amount,version(001) ,tim_fiscper} = {0amount,version(000) ,tim_fiscper}.
else.
{0amount,version(001) ,tim_fiscper} = {0amount,version(v108) ,tim_fiscper}.
endfor.
Its just n example use the granularity according to the requirement.
2)Second fox would save the changed plan data:-
DATA TIM_FISCPER TYPE 0FISCPER.
TIM_REF_FISCPER = VARV(ZEXIT_FPER).
Get the last month
version using modlue or any another logic .(v208)
FOREACH TIM_FISCPER.

Here ZEXIT_FPER is an exit variable created using cmod and populated with system date.

I have a Important Question regarding Extended Safety Stock Planning Calculation in SNP Module.
I have read the SCM Help, SDN Forums and SNP Training Course help, but am unable to find the Formula to Calculate Safety Stocks using the Beta Service Level (Method 'BS') for the Extended Safety Stock Planning Methods.
Reading the help, training material, past SDN Questions I do understand the Standard Formula for Safety Stock is ...
S.S = ServiceLevel x SQRT (ReplLeadTime) x StdDevDemand
However there are Factors like below that are definable in the Location-Product Master ...
1. Forecast Error %
2. Replenishement Lead Time Error %
3. Min & Max Safety Stock Levels
4. Beta Service Level
5. Max. Stock Level
How are these Factors used ? What is the Formula using these Parameters to Calculate the Safety Stock ? The Calculation in SCM-APO is not clear from anywhere.
I am specifically interested in the Method "BS".
Can anyone Guide me ? Points Guaranteed if a reply covers the exact question above (I have done some research before raising this question on Forum).

This 'secretive' calculation is quite annoying. If SAP does not Publish any documentation around the Formula, how can the Customer be convinced to use SAP's Safety Stock Calculations (no wonder many SAP Customers are going the 'ToolsGroup' way of Safety Stock Calculations).

The other change now is in SS Planning, the SSs could be different for each Time Bucket in Future. How does Beta Service Level also impact the Calculation ?

YearTotal not accumating for Forecast
We have two senarios Budget and Forecast,
for forecast, the values should be sum of Actuals for actual periods plus sum of Forecast values for Forecast periods.
it is working fine for all Accounts, Except where the time balance is Last- like Assets,
for the Asset accounts the TB is Balance(Last),
but for our purpose, we need to get sum of Forecast periods,
we created a member for Forecast-time-period, and then aggregating the forecast -time-period plus Actual values into YearTotal.
Forecast-Yeartotal = Actuals>Actual periods + Forecast>forecast-time-period
we have written a Calc.script to calculate the
forecast-time-period = Sum(Forecast periods),
but we are getting only the Period End balances into the 'forecast-time-period'
I think, this scenario might have seen by others, please suggest how to tackle this.

The Forecast-time-period is a store member under time dimension,
for example, the main time dimension is YearTotal, which have jan till dec as stored members, and the another alternate hierarchy parent as
forecast period name is Aug-Dec, it is having aug, sep, oct, nov, dec as children under it, which are shared members.

now the problem is , because the Asset accounts time balance is Last, when the user enters values for example on both Aug and Nov. only Nov. values are rolling up to Aug-Dec (which is correct for Actuals, now we want it to be accumulated when the scenario is Forecacst), for this purpose the above formula is written on Forecast member, but for some reason it is not accumulating the numbers.

When I try to log on to my DC it says "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship". It won't let me log on. I installed another server server 2012r2 (its virtual )
and I can get to ADSI edit.
I think what happened was I had a pc that could not connect without unplugging the network cable. So I found this fix

I’ve seen a lot of solutions, or suggestions rather, with regard to the error in the title of this post. In my experience, the problem can almost always be resolved without extra domain add/removes and reboots, which is the most prevalent solution I have
seen around. Usually, this issue is due to a mismatch between attributes of the computer account in Active Directory and those values on the system itself. Here are the steps I take to fix this issue when it crops up:
Open up Active Directory Users & Computers pointed to the domain the computer account resides in
From the “View” pull-down menu, make sure that “Advanced Features” is checked
Navigate to the part of your organizational unit (OU) structure where the computer account for this server resides
Open the Properties for the computer object
Choose the “Attribute Editor” tab on the Properties dialog box
Check the Attributes dNSHostName & servicePrincipalName – anywhere that a fully qualified hostname is specified (e.g. myserver.mydomainname.com), make sure that the entry matches the hostname
you have configured when you go here on your server: Start -> Computer -> Right-Click, Properties -> Change Settings (under “Computer name, domain… settings”) -> Full Computer Name

Not reading it carefully I add a computer with the same name as the pc having the issue and followed the above. The problem is that I did not notice that the spn did not want the name of my server (serv1) but the name of the trouble

Formula for calculating Quarter value in current calendar Year
Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i need to display values for Q1 of Current Calendar Year, Q1 of Previous Calendar Year,Variance in Value and % Variance in Value...Similarly for Q2,Q3,Q4.
We have built the report directly from Bex Query from the SAP tab in Crystal Reports. The formula for Quarter1,Variances etc are defined in Bex Structures and i am unable to get 'em individually here rather i am getting them as a whole in a single object with the structure name. Now is there a way that i can define my own formula in Crystal Reports so that i can get the values for the constraints defined above???
If yes please give me the syntax or an example formula so that i can work around.

Using VB code, I am attempting to modify a Crystal Report before exporting it into a PDF format and then displaying it on the Web.
My problem is that I am unable to access the formula used to dynamically suppress a field.
The following code is working:

I can not find any reference to the actual suppression formula in the SDK help file.
Note, the EnableSuppress can be set to True for False, but if there is a formula for dynamic suppression, the True or False value is overwritten. The results of the formula determine the suppression.
Is there a way to reference this formula. I know that I can put on in using the Crystal Report Designer software, I need to modify this formula using VB code and the SDK.Hello, Mark;
If you are using the ReportDocument object you do not have access to the Conditional Suppression formula. You can get around it by using a formula field in the report for the supression and then using the FormulaField code to change it at runtime.
If you want to change the supression condition directly at runtime you need to use RAS and the ReportClientDocument.

PLEASE HELP: PDF Forms, creating average formula for text?

I really hope somone can help. I cannot find any answers to my questions on the internet, google etc.
First time using Acrobat. Im pretty quick learning on compters however the formulas my boss has asked me to do I have no idea if they are possible.
We have a report form for exams and each section I need to calculate the average mark for that section.
There are 3 questions for the first section. There are dropdowns for distinction, Merit, Pass and Below pass to select for each questions.
Please see picture attached to show you what I mean.
I want to be able to calculate the most selected/average dropdowns selected and not count the N/A's into award1 field?
The fields must be text and cannot be numbers.
so for example, track 1 got a distinction, track 2 got a Merit, Track 3 got a distiction. all other fields left n/a
is there anyway to do this also is there any way to exactly the same as above as check boxes? - please see picture attached

Yes on the dropdowns the distincion, merit, pass or below pass values are in the correct areas ready for selection. For example on the distiction row you can only drop down for distinction and so on for Merit row dropdowns etc
Check box is the way I rather do it as its quicker, however I created the dropdown option just incase check boxes average was not possible
On the check boxes if i select merit for rtack 1 I would just tick the box and leave the the rest of the colum blank with no ticks. So just by seeing the tick I know its in the merit section for Track 1. However I donts know if I can do an average formula for with check boxes.
If I check boxed/slected distinction for track 1, distnction for track 2 and merit for track 3 (obvisley any box could be ticked depeneding how the exam went so need then all in the script). I would like it to then calculate the avergae mark which would be distinction in the award1 field. While the none ticked boxes or N/A fields not affecting the average.
This is just the start to a huge form Im doing Im dreading the rest of formulas I have to do lol

My husband changed the Apple ID on our computer. For some reason, iCloud has the old Apple ID and it won't let me change it. I've been locked out of my iPad twice and had to restore it because of iCloud. How do I change the Apple ID (not the password)?
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

I just purchased a new Win 8.1 laptop and want to authorize it for my iTunes library. I operate this library on a Win 7 desktop. I have three other Windows computers that I no longer own which were authorized under my iTunes account, but I can't unauthorized them because they are broken or sold. I want to have Computer Authorization for just my current desktop running Win 7 and my new laptop operating Win 8.1. How can I selectively unauthorize a computer if I no longer have it in my possession, and if I have to unauthorize all of my computers, how do I get my iTunes library of music back onto my current desktop system?
Deauthorizing the computer will not remove the content from your library. You deauthorize all, then authorize the ones you want. See this support document. Deauthorize your computer using iTunes - Apple Support

Hi
Could any one please help me on writing the formula for the below senario.
I'm creating Crystal report Via using ClearQuest (IBM tool) since this tool is not supporting subreport function. I'm planning to write a formula.
I have grouped report by request_type field (request_type field contains Validation Defect, Production Defect, Known Defect etc..)
right now my report output is grouped by request_type
ex:
Validation Defect
SUMMARY COMMENTS
Production Defect
SUMMARY COMMENTS
my question was
If request_type = Production Defect display pm_number value field otherwise display null
ex
Production Defect
PM# SUMMARY COMMENTS
Validation Defect
SUMMARY COMMENTS
