Conditional IF Print...4/15/11please help!!!

Hello friends-
I'm trying to create an IF statement that reads the branch/plant and based on that number, for example branch/plant 101, will print 4 copies and all the rest will only print one invoice
This is what I have....

I don't believe that Samsung ever made a driver for this model that worked in intel. Unfortunately, I think your printer is just too old. You can read here

your first post was the one which you really wanted to use for the assignment in order to get the output you desire. anyways like jverd said that you cannot update string because they are immutable. you can always do this
makeMoney[i] = makeMoney.replace(blah blah).

Stuck seriously in the blue print phase of project--- please help

I am Prabhas, sap XI associate consultant in capgemini. I am stuck in the design phase of my project.I am writing this mail to you for helping me in designing the blue print of my scenario. My scenario is like this.
XI will receive a flat file containing stock data and it processes by transforming the structure and then dump the data to R3 system. The output of XI actually invokes some function modules in the target R3 system which in turm executes some BAPIs for committing some transactions.I am clear with the flow and how to realize the process.But the problem is with the function module written to execute some transactions with the help of BAPI.Suppose for some reason one of the transaction commit is failed and the RFC adapter goes in error.Now the question is after correcting the error if we restart the msg in RFC adapter will it start executing the transaction in which it faced the error or the whole RFC will be executed again.
I hope the problem is clear to you.Please help in getting over this. Thank you.

A few quick questions~
1. How are you maing the RFC call? is it a single RFC call that will contain all the records from the file or are you going to make one RFC call for each record in the file?
The user of Recordsets permessage depends on this factor.
If you are going to make a single RFC call, then you cannot use Recordsets per message if there is some dependency in the records.

Well if all records are going to be pushed into a single RFC call, then yes, your RFC code should be such that if there is some error whileprcoessing the call, it should be able to undo the same!
If it is the other option where you are going to make one rfc call per record, the issue will not arise, if there is some error, you can correct the same and restart the mesage from XI .

Obviuosly, it doesn't work as I would like it to do!
First of all, It doesn't print the lines as they are in the TextArea. I mean, the carriage returns are not the one that are in the TextArea.
Secondly, If there's a lot of text, It does exactly nothing! My purpose is to print pages as if they were a Word document, while here it seems that I cannot print more than a page.
Please, please, please, help me!!!! I'm becoming crazy with this problem!

Have you ever developed an application that uses a TextArea (or a JTextArea, if it is possible to use that) exactly as it was a Word document? I mean, something that would let you print what is inside the TextArea as if it was inside a Word document, with more than one page, all the lines printed correctly and so on. Can't open a "Full Page" to print a letter..Please help!...

For some strange reason, when I open up AppleWorks (Word Processing) to simply print a letter, I get a "half a page". And in the past it was always a "Full Page"... I'm using AppleWorks 6.2.9
I've tried everything possible, but I still get the "half page" each and every time when I open Word Processing to write a letter.

Without you detailing what you've tried, it's impossible to know what you consider everything possible. Usually a user's "everything possible" isn't everything.

Appletalk laserwriter won't print over airport wireless. please help.

i have an old apple personal laserwriter 320 which prints plug and play to my G5 (10.4.4) connecting ethernet (appletalk on) with asantetalk adapter. no problems at all.
i like to share this printer wirelessly by connecting it an airport express base station.
i cannot get my network of powerbook and G5 (all 10.4.4) to print to it, they cannot see it.
1. can it be used wirelessly with the airport express base station?
2. what about airport extreme base station?
3.i turned on appletalk in airport under network settings. how about under airport admin utilities?
i must be setting the network configurations wrong, or is it appletalk or the asantetalk ethernet adapter?
can someone please help me through this setup?

Well, I use an HP-6MP with an AsanteTalk hooked to an Airport Extreme Base Station and I use Tiger 10.4.4 and everything works fine. My wife's dual USB iBook, circa 2001, with an internal airport card, uses the HP printer with no problems. The same setup works with OS 9 too.
I also have an Airport Express hooked up to my livingroom stereo that I use with both iTunes and AirFoil. I've never tried using the Airport Express with the AsanteTalk, but I can't imagine that it wouldn't work since it works with the AEBS.
The startup routine is touchy, the printer has to be allowed to fully complete its warmup cycle before powering up the AsanteTalk. Try disconnecting the power to the AsanteTalk for about 10 seconds while everything else is hooked and powered up, then reconnect the power, the lights should flash on the AsanteTalk, then open the Printer Setup Utility, wait about 10 seconds and the printer should then appear, if it isn't there already. When we have power outages from say thunderstorms, I often have to recycle the AsanteTalk's power because when the power comes back on, it completes it startup cycle before the HP does and printer setting disappears.
It's not a matter of adding AppleTalk to the AEBS or Airport Express. There are no options for that. The settings are only in the computer network/airport settings. Both of your computers need to be configured to have AppleTalk active under the Airport network settings.
And as mentioned before, don't use the yellow ethernet cord.

Print not clear. Please Help

I have a HP F370 All-in-one Printer. I am trying to print a screenshot of my visual basic program. I am using printscreen key on my keyboard to take screen shot and then trimming it with the help of paint. The resulting screenshot is then copied to MS Word 2007 and printed using my printer with the following settings:
Paper Size : A4
Paper Type : Plain Paper
Print Quality : Best (600 dpi) with Real Life Digital Photography Disabled
Resizing Options : Actual Size
Color Options : Print In Grayscale with Black Print Cartridge Only.
The Problem is when I print it using the above setting without the window border, then I get a very sharp , crisp and clear print. But with EXACTLY SAME SETTINGS, with window border I get a Blurry print.

I have zoomed the word 'Physics'. Notice in first pic it is sharp and in second one it is blurry. I want it just like in first pic.
I have tested and reprinted it many times but same problem persists. I am using Windows 7 , and A4 sheets for printing. Please help me.

Could be many things here. If the actual size with the windows border exceeds the margins on the paper, it could be changing the size to fit which reduces the quality of the image. That is just the first thought that came to mind. This document about print settings for better prints may offer some help:

Can't change print quality...please help!

In reference to the box that pops up when you choose to print something: in the drop down menu where you can select "paper handling", "layout", "scheduler" etc. there used to be something that allowed me to select the type of paper I was using as well as the print quality. But now it is not there and I am completely unable to alter the print quality!
All that's in the drop down menu is: Copies & Pages, Layout, Scheduler, Paper Handling, ColorSync, Cover Page, and Summary. I cannot change the print quality when I select any of these options from the drop down menu.
I've downloaded the drivers for my printer on the HP site already and it doesn't help. I don't understand what is going on as the option to change the print quality seemed to have just disappeared. It seems like it's more of a Mac problem than a problem with my printer...I'm not sure.
Please help!!! I'm completely stuck printing low res things and I NEED to print better quality than this!

Are you certain that your correct printer is selected in the Printer: list?
Since reinstalling the driver have you repaired permissions?
What programs are you attempting to print from?

Having problems with HP6980 printer and Windows 7, please help

I just replaced my XP computer with a new HP computer running Windows 7. Each time I turn on my HP 6980 printer, it won't print. When I go to Devices and Printers, I see that it is offline. I have to delete the printer and reinstall it to make it work and this solution is only good for the session. I have to repeat the process each time that I turn on the computer. Please help.

I keep getting asked to agreed to the new terms and conditions and can not accept them please help, how to get rid of it?

Try these...
1) Press the Accept Button Twice...
2) Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

I CAN ONLY PRINTS EVERY OTHER PAGE - PLEASE HELP ME!

Please can anyone help me? I am trying to print from my iMac (running Lion) to my HP1022nw laser printer. In every application, only every other page prints out. Within Paper Handling on the print window, I have correctly selected print every page.
Can anyone help me? PLEASE!

I am surprised you can send mail, but not receive.
If you want ot send mail, you will have to configure the MTA to allow relaying for your internal IP address range. Edit the INTERNAL_IP section of the mappings file, change the 32 after the ipaddrees of your system to somthing like 24 or 16 (depending on your network!)
If you can send & receive messages in webmail, then there must be something wrong with your outlook settings for reading. Are you trying to read mail using POP or IMAP? What are your settings for POP system, user & password, etc?
Also, creating a user in the console is fully supported. No problem, just don't forget to tick the "mail" service and do the mail settings for the account.

I cannot print from my Ipad - please help

Please can someone help - I have an ipad and an air printer (Canon MX435). I am trying to print from the ipad to the printer but it cannot find any air printers - please could someone help.
Just to say, I am very very inexperienced in technology, so please could you give me the most simplest answers and I will try and follow them. I have googled to see how to do this and it appears to easy, but alas mine does not work.
Sorry if i dont understand what to do, but I really would like some help on this and dont know much about computers/routers/connection/wireless much at all so if anyone can help me set this up, id be very pleased.

You can see what wifi network your iPad is using as follows:
* Open the Settings app (looks like one large gear and two small ones).
* The second entry in the left column should be "Wi-Fi" with one or more words to the right of that.
* If the part to the right of "Wi-Fi" says "Off", you are not connected to wifi at all.
* Otherwise, the part to the right is the name of the current network.
You should have had to select a network when you first brought the printer home and set it up. It should be the same network as above. I have not figured out how you can see if the printer is on the same wifi network after the fact.
Here's another thing to check:
* Print the Nozzle Check Pattern as follows:
-- Make sure there is a sheet of A4 or letter plain paper in the front tray and the output tray support is extended.
-- Press the "Setup" button.
-- Use the right or left arrow button to select Maintenance, then press the OK button.
-- Use the right or left arrow button to select Nozzle check, then press the OK button.
* Under the test pattern you should find a page count and optionally a firmware version (like "Ver. 2.000").
* You need to see a version at least equal to 2.000. If not, you need to update the firmware.

Printing in Preview . Please Help me

I've spent a day trying to put a caption under a picture that I scanned and want to print but cannot do it. I have 'The missing manual' for Mac OSX Tiger but cannot find anything that tells me how to do this. Perhaps it's so simple that it doesn't need explaining but I can't do it. Once you have dragged & dropped the image into a TextEdit doc you can manipulate where it appears on the page just like text. To center it horizontally select the Center icon in the ToolBar. To center it vertically just hit return with the cursor to the left of the image to move it down the page. You cannot change the size of the image in TextEdit. It will appear in the size it was scanned. To line up your caption text under the image you manipulate it in TextEdit like any other text editor with margins and tabs, etc that you can set with the ruler in the toolbar.
Remember that just about everything you might wish to know about most Apple software is in the Help file in the apps Help menu. I find it easier to locate info in the help file by going directly to the index and going through the topics alphabetically until I find what I need.
