Conditions to replace a number by a name in a report

Hi Experts,
Is it possible on a report in APEX to give a condition so that instead of the 2 being displayed for Game i want to return a name.
Product Game Current Date Act Amt Cumm Amt Count Sales Created By Creation Date Rec Time

How to add increment number to file name properly

Hi, all:
I have a simple question. As shown in the attached code, I need to add an increment number to file name and save the file. The problem is, if you run the code and put something like ".dat" in the extension name, you will see a blank space between the number and the dot in the file name. What should I do to eliminate the blank space? I can't specify the format of the file name since the file name would vary from case to case.

Hi,
Please take a look to the attached VI. I hope that I understood what you really want.
I've replaced the Vi: Format into string with Number to Decimal String plus a Concatenate String.
Now, this is working for me, I don't get a space anymore. If something is wrong, please let me know.

I am using Oracle 11.1.0.6.O. Create a table using following query.
CREATE TABLE VENDOR_MASTER_new (
VENDOR_ID integer,
VENDOE_NAME VARCHAR2(50 CHAR),
STATUS smallint DEFAULT 1
Table Created.
check the table structure using DESC VENDOR_MASTER_new
It showing
SQL> desc vendor_master_new
Name Null? Type
VENDOR_ID NUMBER(38)
VENDOE_NAME VARCHAR2(50 CHAR)
STATUS NUMBER(38)
SQL>
integer replaced by NUMBER(38)..
if it is possible to make integer. help me resolve this issue.

That should be fine as number(38) is having one much bigger range than integer.

Invalid serial number and product name in g50

I just buy my laptop this last december and in bios it says that i had an invalid serial number and product name
what should i do to make it valid?
my friend said that it has an effect in chipsets and it bluescreened 4 times when win7 is the installed os and twice in win8.1
how to fix this?

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
Just to verify, did you get the Invalid Serial Number and Product Name issue out of the box or you got this after you sent the unit for service?
Usually, when the motherboard is replaced, the Serial Number and Product Name is flashed into the BIOS and the EC (Embedded Controller) is updated. If you got the issue after sending the unit for service, I recommend you contact lenovo and report your findings as these information needs to be reflashed into the system.
As for the BSOD, were you able to get the exact error code?

How to assign a unique number to the name column of a document set?

How can I assign a unique number to the name column of a document set preferably with workflows? (Perhaps this number can increase by one each time a new document set is created)
When a user attempts to create a new document set, this unique number should be already there as the name of the document set.
(However, It seems that access and edit the Name column is more tricky than the other columns)

To use document ID instead of Name column, you can
Modify View and hide Name column. Then make Document ID to display at the left column.
By default, document ID will be assigned to both document items and document sets. You may
experience delay before you can see document ID assigned to existing document items and document sets because the scheduled document ID assignment timer jobs haven't finished yet.

I have the same situation as you - sending out pdfs of designed pages and wanting to overwrite them continually. It used to happen on an older version of Mail, then it disappeared and now it's back with the latest version.
It's more than annoying, it's downright driving me nuts. In the last hour I had to quit Mail seven times.
Please send a fix for this Apple.

IOS 5.0.1 messages show phone number instead of names

after the iOS 5.0.1 update, all my incoming and outgoing messages show phone number instead of names even though i have them in my contacts.
i tried deleting previous messages, and restarting a new outoging msg to a specific number but when i start a new msg, after i add the contact, and i send it, it'll show the number instead of the person from my contact.
anyone else having this issue and any possible solutions?
also the number show up as +1 (951) XXX - XXXX
+1 (area code) then the number.... instead of the name of the person in my contact.

i went to the apple store and the tech told me the following:
make sure you backup your photos, contacts, etc.
the problem she said is due to a corrupt file for some iphones4s.
1) sync your iphone with itunes
2) do a restore and restore with a "new phone" instead of from backup
3) your phone will be reset, but you'll have all your apps.
after doing all this, your contacts and message should sync up.

Getting PO number as file name when getting output as pdf file

Hi Experts,
Is there any possibility to get PO number into file name (instead of spool number) when getting output as pdf file.
Since I'm printing POs in batches (as pdf) it is too difficult to find exact PO among all the pdf files.
If PO number maintained as file name, would be great time saver for me.

Requirement
When user click on link, system should create folder with the name of expense report number in SHAREPOINT and copy copies of expense receipts in the created folder in SHAREPOINT.

OAF no api as such for this kind of customization. Rather try developing some web service or something similar which can be invoked from the custom link to do the job.

Acrobat Pro X Replaces Document Title with File Name

We process many Microsoft Word Documents into PDF. Whether or not this is the correct way to process them we use the new "Action" previously a Batch Process.
We require our documents to open "Full Width" so we run the created Action which converts the Word files to PDF and sets them to open width.
In the previous version of Acrobat (9) this worked fine. But the current version strips the document title out of the Word document and replaces it with the file name in the PDF. eg. If the title of the document set in the properties of world.doc is "Changing the world", when the action created the PDF its stripped and replaced with "world.doc"
This of course means that we must now take the time to change the title of each document so that the search engine on our intranet can correctly list it. As you can imagine a time consuming process, which until this update never had to be done.
Alternatively is there a better way to convert large numbers of Word documents to PDF that will keep all of this information intact?

Batch processing applies a standard set of events to a series of files, usually without any user interactivity beyond selection and filename choices.

A condition to avoid displaying a product with the same Product Name in a report

Is there a condition to avoid displaying contents of two similar product names in a subreport?
here is the scenario:
Need to display Parent information in a separate List - Good
child Product information in Sub-report,
I'm passing both ProductID and ParentName parameters into Sub-Report to display the contents of the sub-report. If there are no similar Parent name, the sub-report works fine. But if there are similar ParentName, my sub-report
starts listing all Products from the parent name.
example
Parent Product 1 ->
Sulphate
Product_ID -> xx345
child Product1 -> SulPhur (details...) in a SubReport
Parent Product 2 ->
Sulphate
Product_ID -> xx3342
Child Product1 -> Sulphuric Acid (details...) in a SubReport

Per my understanding that both the subreport and the main report contains the field "ProductID" and "ProductName", and some of the ProductID will map the same ProductName which will display some duplicate subreport in the list like below,
right?
I have used some sample data as below and you can see when the different ProductID have the same values of "ProductName" and "Amount" and some other field value, it will display all the duplicate information
in the subreport when add the main report in a list:
ProductID   ProductName Amount:
    1               ZXITest         220
    2               ZXITest         220
    3               ZXITest2       100
    4               ZXITest3       200

There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.
