Configure JMS in Jetty
Hi,
I have an application which is internally calling Jetty jar and starting the server.
My requirement is to configure JMS in it.
Could you please tell me what approach i should follow?
can it be done through API? any other solution?
Thanks in advance for your response.

I'm pretty sure he meant "Jetty doesn't give you a JMS implementation", and as far as I can tell he's rightYeh I did. Sorry, OP, I was in a hurry!
Jetty doesn't come with a JMS implementation, it's "just" a web server with servlet engine, not a fully-fledged application server.Correct
You'll need to integrate a separate JMS product. Google for "JMS jetty" and you'll find plenty of help.I'd recommend Apache ActiveMQ. It gives you a product called Camel, which helps you integrate all manner of things neatly, including Jetty

How to configure JMS queue on OC4J server. Development in JDeveloper 10G
Hi there,
I have to configure a JMS for an Asynchronous process in my Application which will be running in Oracle 10G Application Server. Development Environment is Oracle JDeveloper 10G.
I am facing a problem on how to configure JMS queue.
Steps Followed are:
in the <JDevloperHome>/j2ee/home/config
1. Made the new queue and connection factory's JMS entry in jms.xml.
2. Specifed the queue in oc4j-connectors.xml.
3. played around with application.xml
and tried all combinations, but the message producer always failed to lookup the queue.
Need help on the steps to follow so that the producer can post the message in the queue.
Also please help how to configure the MDB to listen to the queue.
Thanx and Regards
SubhamIf you were dealing with Oracle 10g app server as opposed to standalone, I might be better able to help you.
One thing though, when you are configuring your MDB in the orion-ejb-jar.xml file, do not forget to specify attribute listener-threads, otherwise no matter how many beans you have in your MDB pool, only one bean will be listening to the queue. Many listener-threads equal to max number of beans in pool. -
Problem in configuring JMS adapter
Hello,
My purpose is to send xml data from MQSeries to BW using XI. MQSereies is installed in XI server. For thah I am trying to configure JMS adpter for MQSeries in XI. I have successfully deployed the necessary external drivers using SDM. I have configured the sender channel with the following parameters.
Adapter type: JMS
Transport Protocol :WEBsphereMQ(non-JMS)
Message protocol :JMS1.x
Queue connection factory java class:com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory
Queue Java Class: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueue
IP address: IP address of XI system.
Port: 1414
Queue manager name : MQ-manager-name_XI-system-name
Channel Name : reciever-channel-name_XI-system-name
JMS queue: postcard
Charecter set ID:
Transport/networkprotocol: TCP/IP
JMS-Compliant : WebsphereMQ(non-JMS)
But when I check it in adapter monitor JMS is shown as red.
When I go to Visual Administrator
"cluster->server->services->monitoring->runtime->monitor tree->services->Connector Service" is white instead of green.
Can any one tell what could be the problem.
Regards,
AmithHi Vijaya,
In VA there is only option to stop or start JMS XI adapter.
I dont know where to activate JMS adapter in VA. It is already started in VA.

How to configure JMS server in weblogic
Hi,
I want to configure JMS server in weblogic.So please send me needful link.
Regards
AnupHi Anup,
1. The first thing you have to do is create a filestore where messages will be stored. Look at the below link for more detailed instructions:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/stores/CreateFileStores.html
2. Next create a JMS server. Look at the below link for more detailed instructions
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_servers/ConfigureJMSServers.html
3. Now, create a JMS System Module to hold the JMS resources like Queues, Topics, Connection Factory, SAF agents etc..
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/modules/ConfigureJMSModules.html
4. Now, create a resource like connection factory OR queue etc.
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/modules/ConfigureJMSModuleResources.html
For now, lets stick to the basics and create a basic queue using the below documentation unless you exactly know what resource you want to create
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/queues/CreateQueues.html
5. You will also need to create a connection factory to use the resource. See below documentation
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/connection_factories/CreateConnectionFactories.html
Please go through the below JMS architecture diagram as well as documentation that will tell you what JMS on WebLogic is all about in terms of configuration
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e13738/overview.htm#i1084283

Configuring JMS Bridges between COM and SOM
Hi,
We started working on OSM 7.0.2 and I have a question about the configuration of JMS Bridges between COM and SOM.
When COM and SOM Cartridges are installed in the same OSM instance on non-cluster env., it is mandatory to configure JMS Bridges between COM and SOM?
If it is case, could you please detail the procedure to follow?
In the document called "Application Integration Architecture Order-to-Activate Cartridge Guide Release 7.0.2 E18005-01" it is not obvious to understand. If you have a look in the table 2-1 page 2-15, I don't see all the mandatory field values to create a new destination bridges (for instance, what is the value of destination JNDI name?). Does anyone configure this part in the setting up OSM to the Order-to-Activate Solution?
Best regards.The COM-SOM bridge is only required when COM and SOM are deployed on separate osm server instances and AIA Emulators are deployed (on both) for development/demo/quick testing purposes.
In QA/SIT/PRODUCTION environments, OSM should be integrated via AIA, this means that all participant applications ( CRM , OSM-COM, OMS-SOM, BRM ) should be using queue bridges (or SAF in 7.0.3) -

Help configuring jms over http?
I am looking to use jms over port 8080 to both send and receive soap messages. Does anyone know how to configure jms to do this? Any good documentation?
I am using Sun Application Server 8 Platform Edition.
Thanks.Hi Rabbia,
This is not something which is defined by the JMS standard.
Each vendor has differing approaches to supporting HTTP/HTTPS. Some use proxy servlets in conjunction with web servers etc... Others don't support it at all.
Nirvana from my-channels supports the idea of adding multiple interfaces to a server. Each bound to a specific hostname and port and communicating over a specific protocol (e.g. HTTP or HTTPS). Using Nirvana you would simply add a HTTP interface which is bound to port 8080.
http://www.my-channels.com/developers/nirvana/FAQ/addingANetworkInterface.html
You would then configure your clients to point to that specific interface..
http://www.my-channels.com/developers/nirvana/examples/nJMS/jmsadmin_intro.html
Hope this helps.

How to Configure JMS MQ In WeLogic?
Hello. I am new to this forum. Can anybody gives instructions on how to create or configure JMS MQ in WebLogic ?
Thanks.I recommending starting by reading through the [ Integrating Remote JMS Providers | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/web.1111/e13727/interop.htm#JMSPG553 ] FAQ, in order to assess the various options.
You may also want to look at "[ Integrating WebSphere MQ 6 with BEA Weblogic Server 10 using Weblogic Server Foreign (JMS) Server feature | http://ibswings.blogspot.com/2008/02/integrating-mq-broker-6-with-bea.html ]".
If you need exactly-once (transactions), and the MQ server is on a different machine than WebLogic, then you will need to use the MQ Extended Transactional client from IBM (http://publibfp.boulder.ibm.com/epubs/pdf/csqzar00.pdf). I think IBM still requires a license for this client.
Finally, you might find some useful information in the following white-paper: "[ Integrating an Oracle Service Bus Cluster with an IBM WebSphere MQ Cluster in a Service-Oriented Architecture | http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/service-bus/docs/osb-websphere-whitepaper.pdf ]".

Configuring JMS adapter for a BPEL process which puts a msg in a Q of MQ
Hi,
I am trying to develop a BPEL process which picks up a message from a Q in Websphere MQ and puts that message in another Q of MQ after processing that.
I have updated the oc4j-ra.xml with the following inputs:
<connector-factory location="eis/MQSeries/Queue" connector-name="Jms Adapter">
<config-property name="connectionFactoryLocation" value="com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory"/>
<config-property name="factoryProperties" value="QueueManager=TestManager;TransportType=1;Hostname=machine's ip address;Port=1414;Channel=channel name for connecting to client"/>
<config-property name="acknowledgeMode" value="AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE"/>
<config-property name="isTopic" value="false"/>
<config-property name="isTransacted" value="true"/>
<config-property name="username" value="admin"/>
<config-property name="password" value="welcome"/>
</connector-factory>
But while testing the BPEL process, I get the error:

How to configure JMS listener in separate jvm
Hi Guys,
I am new to this forums so please let me know if iam making any mistake.
I have 2 instances of tomcat running on different port numbers. I am using apache ActiveMq as my message broker for sending the jms message using queue. Code for sending the message is present in a servlet. So when I run that servlet message gets sent.
In my other tomcat i retrieve this jms message. But for me issue is this messsage gets retrieved only if i write this code in a servlet and I run that servlet.
Is there any way where i can configure a listener for my class present in tomcat 2. So that when message gets sent that piece of code gets triggered automatically and I can read that message.Sounds like you want basic JMS message consumer functionality.

Configuring JMS and loadbalancer with SSL termination? Has Anyone done it?
Hi all,
I'm having a problem getting JMS or even any JNDI lookup to work with a hardware load balancer and SSL termination. Has anyone used such a configuration? The load balancer in question is a Cisco CSS 11500 Series which has an SSL module. A client communicates with the CSS over SSL, the SSL module decrypts the packets and sends it for content switching and on to WebLogic as cleartext.
Without SSL termination everthing works fine. With SSL termination active, Web service and web content all work fine, but I can't get SSL tGetting Initial context from ms01

Dimitri Ayrapetov (MCSE: SharePoint) -
Hi,
i am trying to use dynamic configuration variable DCJMSMessageQueue as a condition for determining the receiver within the Receiver Determiniation. I can see the value in the DCJMSMessageQueue, but the condition is not applied.
Have anyone tried to use this variable within the Receiver Determination (SP14)?
Thnx in advance.
Regards, Erik HubersHi Erik,
I'm using JMS Channels and Adapter-specific attributes quite a lot (in my case it's DCJMSCorrelationID).
So far I never had the requirement to use it in conditions in a Receiver Determination, but I set up
a Receiver Determination to test it and it worked with SP15.
Now what was a little strange is that the expression only worked if I set it up in the following way:
DCJMSMessageQueue = queue:///EVENT_EB5331?targetClient=1
where my queue name is solely EVENT_EB5331 (I'm using WebSphere MQ in native mode).
Maybe that solves your problem (I actually copied this value, because it is the way it is written in the DynamicConfiguration
piece of the XI message).
There is another issue I had with the JMS Adapter Specific Attributes in SP14.
The namespace of the attributes was implemented wrong (at least the one for DCJMSCorreleationID). Instead of
'http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS'
it was just 'JMS'.
Now if the condition is - by any reason - evaluated against the correct namespace (the long one)
this could also be a reason why it is not working.
Check the values in the DynamicConfiguration and have a look at the Trace.
You should find something like this in the R E C E I V E R D E T E R M I N A T I O N part of it:
<Trace level="3" type="T">...call rule engine for Condition %CL_SAI_SWF_RULE_ENGINE.MSG_GET_SYSTEM
(MSG=&_MSG&;SYSFIELD="DCJMSMessageQueue";
SYSNSP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS")% = queue:///EVENT_EB5331?targetClient=1</Trace>
<Trace level="2" type="T">......attachment XI_Context not found</Trace>
<Trace level="3" type="T">......extracting from attachment: DCJMSMessageQueue =
queue:///EVENT_EB5331?targetClient=1</Trace>
<Trace level="2" type="T">......extracting values found: 1</Trace>
Compare the namespaces there with the one in the DynamicConfiguration.
If there is a mismatch upgrade to SP15 or open an OSS Message.
I hope that helps...
regards,
Peter -
How to configure JMS-Server to use username and password
Hi
Maybe this is a real stupid question, but please help me, I'm not very experienced using JMS:
I'm using JMS (provided by OC4J / Application Server 10.1.3). I configured a ConnectionFactory (without username and password) and a Queue and there is also a application, which successfully opens the JMS-Connections.
This works well as long as I do not provide a username und password in the ConnectionFactory (EnterpriseManager: OC4J/Admin/Services/JMS-provider...). If I do this, my application terminates with the following stacktrace:
javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: JMSServer[aplora2:12602]: failed to authenticate "myuser/mypassword", no such user.

where "myuser" and "mypassword" are the username and password I entered in the ConnectionFactory. (My Application certainly uses the same username and password)
I expected, that by entering username and password here I would configure my Queue to be protected by them. But obviously there are some very basic things I didn't understand. Can anyone give me a hint, how I can protect the (OC4J-) JMS-Server or the Queue by username and password?
Thanks for your help

Assuming you've set up users in the "Security Manager" for your application, you can specify what JNDI resources they can "read" (and thus also connect to) via the orion-application.xml file. Look at the following snippet from the orion-application.xml file:
<namespace-access>
<read-access>
<namespace-resource root="jms/firstQueue">
<security-role-mapping impliesAll="false" name="jmsSecurity">
<user name="scooter"/>
</security-role-mapping>
</namespace-resource>
</read-access>
<read-access>
<namespace-resource root="delme">
<security-role-mapping impliesAll="false" name="jmsSecurity">
<group name="messagingUsers"/>
</security-role-mapping>
</namespace-resource>
</read-access>
</namespace-access>
This would say that only the user "scooter" that you've set up would have access to the Queue whose JNDI name begins with jms/firstQueue. Anyone you've set up and added to a messagingUsers group would have access to any Queues whose JNDI name begins with "delme". (I'm honestly not sure what exactly this line does: <security-role-mapping impliesAll="false" name="jmsSecurity">)
This is the only way I've found to limit access to a particular Queue.
HTH.
