Configuring email in Outlook 2007

I am trying to set up iCloud mail on Outlook 2007. After you select Tool > Account Settings in Outlook 2007, click the email tab and click New per set up instructions, there is no "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" box to click.

This is also happening to me. It has happened on several occasions and seems to clear after a day or so. This is so annoying. I have seen this issued raisedby several other people so a common problem. Hopefully BT will sort this out.

Send Email via Outlook 2007 with "send to field" blank.

I have a simple question:
- How do I get the user's Outlook 2007 "New Email Message" box to open up when the user clicks on a button called "Send Email"?
- Outlook is the default Email client on each user
- I need the Outlook box to open, with the following values prefilled:
To: blank (so the user can type in an address)
From: [email protected]
Subject: blah, blah, blah
Body: Hello, etc...
The part I'm having trouble with is getting the Send To field to be blank or unfilled?

Transferring Email from Outlook 2007 to a new iMac running Leopard

I previously decided to make the jump from Windows Vista Ultimate to a new iMac several months ago and was just waiting for the release of Leopard. It was my understanding that the transfer would be seamless. But I recently read an article by Walt Mossberg that appeared to indicate that you cannot transfer email files from Outlook 2007 to the iMac's email program. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I need to have all of my old email folders. I DO NOT want to have to buy and install a Microsoft operating system to make this work either. This is a deal killer for me if I cannot have my old emails available.

Cant receive email using outlook 2007

Hello,
I downloaded outlook 2007 and its not working correctly.
I am able to send out emails, but I cant receive anything back.
I have the latest outlook connector (

Hmm as far as I remember this is not the last version of the connector out there, please check on metalink, I'm currently runing a .9 version (and I'm only using outlook for testing purpose, so I could also be outdated !)

Can't sync multiple emails from Outlook 2007 into Iphone

It only listed the main (usually work) email, and does not transfer the home and other emails from Outlook. I can manually enter a second email and label it on the iphone, but that is not helpful as I have hundreds of business/friends with multiple emails in my Outlook... it does get home and work addresses...

The workaround is to use Cached Exchange Mode or "Shift + Delete", as the user doesn't want to delete the message permanently, using Cached Exchange Mode is preferred.
Based on my research, this issue is more Exchange 2010 related, and you mentioned the user also got the error from Outlook Web Access. This issue occurs after Exchange 2010 Service Pack 2 RU6 or Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3 is installed.
To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
2803727 Description of Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3

Smartform or BSP HTML Emails in Outlook 2007

Hello,
we create different HTML e-mails based on smartforms or BSP. Everything looks as it should with <b>Outlook 2003</b>. But if you send the same mails to user with <b>Outlook 2007</b>, no formats, boxes and colors are visible anymore.
Does anyone has an idea what we could do to make it suitable for Outlook 2003 and 2007?

There isn't a very good solution unless there are some recent updates. I've answered on this before. In 2007, Microsoft chanegd the HTML rendering engine to Word. There is very limited support for HTML and CSS in Word's engine. You can Google it or go to MSDN to read more about it. I haven't looked for a better solution because 99% of our user community is still using 2003 though that will change soon. We're actually considering dumping Microsoft altogether and switching to Google Apps.

One of your settings is not set correctly. Go slowly, and check every setting.
Which browser/ version are you using? Have you cleared your browser cache?

Bt email in outlook 2007

i have outlook 2007 and i use my @btinternet.com through this. all settings are correct but occasianally it will keep asking for my password and lock me out untill i leave it (anything from 5mins - 5hours). sometimes when it asks for a password i just click ok and it works. "this happens when i click send and recieve".

E63 and incoming email sync (outlook 2007)

Hi everyone,
I checked the topics but I didn't get the answer so I open a new one.
I just wonder if it is feasible to get the emails in outlook incoming email folder in my E63.
Nokia Pc Suite let me sync some outlook folders (contacts, tasks...) but incoming email is not an option. I read in Nokia Pc Suite sync page that some models can not sync some folders. Is this the case?
Please let me know, I was used with a Treo (Palm), and all the folders of outlook in it.
any alternative tips are welcome as well.

If you have an Exchange server running, you can. Otherwise the're is no way of syncing E63 e-mail with Outlook.

Can't delete certain emails in Outlook 2007

I work at a help desk and was presented with this issue that I can't figure out.
At our company when someone receives a voicemail you can have it attached to an email and sent to the person receiving it. I got a call from one of our employees that can't delete the email with the voicemail attached to it. If she has the message
highlighted and presses the delete key or right-clicks and selects Delete nothing happens, no error message, nothing. If she tries to move the message to another folder she gets the message 'Cannot move the item. The item cannot be moved.
It was either moved, already deleted or access was denied' The message still shows in her inbox so it doesn't appear to have been moved anywhere.
I also had her sign into Outlook Web Access and delete the message there and she got the same error message.
She can hold down shift and then delete the message but that will permanently delete the item, which she doesn't want to do. She can't even move it to an archive file if she wanted to.
This just started happening recently when we upgraded from Win XP to Win 7, but we had Office 2007 on both so that didn't change. We have Exchange 2010.
I have made sure that Cached Exchange Mode is off, I have also deleted and recreated her mail profile. She can delete or move other messages with and without attachments just fine.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Configure Email on Outlook 2011 for Mac - Go Daddy - POP

Hi All
I am having a nightmare configuring my email.
I have a website bought through godaddy and an email address through them. It works fine on the godaddy email login (https://login.secureserver.net/) and it works fine on Mac Mail - all I need to do with both is simply put in my username (email) and password and they're good to go.
It also works find on my iPhone 6. The settings on my iPhone are as follows:
Name: [email protected]
Email: [email protected]
Description: [email protected]
Incoming Mail Server
Host name: pop.europe.secureserver.net
Username: [email protected]
Password: ...
Use SSL: Yes
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 995
Outgoing Mail Server:
Host name: smtpout.europe.secureserver.net
Username: [email protected]
Password: ...
Use SSL: Yes
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 465
So... I have tried every combination of using SSL/not using SSL, using each combination of different ports etc on Outlook 2011 but it just refuses to work!

Sync email from outlook 2007 to iPhone5s

I'm trying to figure out how I can sync my office email to my iPhone such that any emails sent or saved in drafts, automatically syncs to my phone as well. Any leads will be of great help.

What kind of email account/system is used at your place of work? E.g. my workplace uses Microsoft Outlook and our IT person provided me with the correct in/out server information so that I could add a new Exchange account on my iPhone and iPad.

Want to use email alias (forwarded) as the reply email instead of the default email Using Outlook 2007 with Google apps

I have one main email address using Google apps and 3 alias email addresses within the same domain (I believe Google calls these accounts group accounts). I would like my replies to appear to come from the alias whenever an email is received through
it. Is there a setting to do this automatically. Currently I use 3 separate accounts on Outlook where everything is filled as if the alias account is a real account except for the username and password - where I fill it out with my real email login info.
I then had to disable these 3 accounts from the RECEIVE group (under send/receive) and make sure I use the "account" drop down when I'm replying and pick the correct the email alias. The problem is that I usually forget to pick one or pick
the wrong one. If there a setting that would do this automatically it would be a life saver and probably a job saver too :-). I would even take an Outlook Addin...if there is such a thing.

This worked perfectly for me, I tend to read most of my mail on the default reading pane (as opposed to opening the email completely -which doesn't work). I Actually created three different Macros for REPLY, REPLY ALL, and FORWARD and replaced the
buttons on the ribbon so I wouldn't click them by mistake. The only change (besides the obvious changes) I added a line "strRecip = LCase(strRecip)" because I noticed the Macro would not work correctly if the person used uppercase when typing the email
address...for example if they typed it as [email protected] it would work fine but if they typed it as [email protected] or [email protected] or even the domain itself it would NOT work. With this addition everything works! I'll post this on the
bottom of the macro link too...I would have typed it there directly but you probably don't visit that page very often and I wanted to make sure you got my response.

Can't receive emails from Outlook 2007...

It was fine until around mid May, then just got error message saying Cant access server, check your Mail settings are correct - but all is correct and unchanged from previous... Have shut down iPad and restarted, have close Outlook and tried test emails and downloading to iPad, have checked settings with server. It seems to Send fine, just not download! Have POP setup, however, often out PC Outlook is closed and therefore we should be getting emails on iPad, and were fine before mid May. Very frustrating!
