Confirmation button in check status

Hello,
when confirming goods in "Confirm Goods / Services" I enter the quantity and I can confirm.
When I press 'create confirmation' in 'check status' I get 'confirmation still contains errors; check the confirmation'. Is this because the amount is missing? Can the amount be filled automatically?
Also I would like to know if it is possible to hide the button?

Stefan,
You can remove the confirmation button in various methods..
1) change the authorization for BBPSC04 for all the roles..
2) Use BBP UI CTRL BADI for hiding the confirmation button..
3) Use SHD0.. transaction variant to achieve the same..
Try any one of these that is easy to implement for you..

hi everyone
i'm quite new in developing srm and need your help.
my customer wants me to put a new customer button on the check status web screen at item level which is supposed to work like the print button.
so if i want to integrate this customer button do i have to modify the screen and html template? as far as i know there is no customer exit for this?!

Which SRM version are you using ?
The addition of a new button for a new process means modification to standard screens, HTML templates used in the relevant Internet (Web) Services and the releavnt source code.
Addition of button can only be done through ITS Template change.Please look in the Internet services say - BBP_BID_INV (for Bid Invitations) Or for service - BBPSC01 (shopping cart) for the exact template in whcih you want to add the button
You have to define a new button in the screen and in the template. Then assign to it an OK_CODE and manage it in the PBO of the screen.
There is no BADI which can do this as this is not a SAP funtionality. You need to do a little bit of research on this to get the job done.
As a start step, You can use the BADIs - BBP_CUF_BADI and BBP_CUF_BADI_2 to change the display from customer-defined fields to the SAP standard screen. This BAdI enables you to control whether the fields can be edited, and how they are displayed.
MODIFY_SCREEN method will Show/hide field display and restrict edit options.

Express confirmation done via check status

in bbp_pd or any clues.

Not sure what SAP version you are working with, but you can see some OSS on this issue.
Note 171608 - Allocations: Over-confirmation when creating, Note 418775 - Allocations: over-confirmed product allocation quantities and Note 180139 - Allocations: Over-confirmation when creating and allied notes inside it to resolve the issue.

Delete Button is disabled in Check status

Hi Experts,
We are on SRM 7.0 . In Check status POWL, if the shopping cart is in 'Awaiting approval' stage requisitioner can only display the cart , we want him to able to delete the cart as well but the delete button is disabled.
We have assigned 'medium' level authorization in 'BBP_WFL_SECURITY' then the user can go into the details edit it and delete it..
But we want the 'Delete' button to be enabled on POWL screen. It is enabled if the SC is in 'Saved' status.
Any clues to achieve this?

till SRM 550 REQUESTER can delete his/her cart even till follow on docuemnt created ( before confirmation done)
ln SRM 550 , requester can delete his cart though STATUS awaiting for approval / contains error/ error in process /po created.

Hi,
Goto SU01 and fill in the user ID for which the button is greyed.
Navigate to role tab
Double click on the role so that the system opens transaction PFCG
Select the "personnalization" tab where you will find the WFL security... (don't remember exactly the name as i do not have any system right now)
This WF security has 4 level.
By default it is set to none
Select level 4 for maximum authorization.
Save, log-off from ITS access et relogon.
Then the button won't be greyed anymore

Steps :
1) Go to SU01 of the buyer
2) Go to Personalization tab
3) Double click on Personalization object key 'BBP_WFL_SECURITY'
You will get a pop up for 'Authorization level for Authorization'
4) Here change the securtiy level from 1(=no changes allowed) to at least 2(=low)

Accept Changes button visible in Approval link but not in Check Status

Dear Experts,
We are on SRM 4.0 .
After a SC is rejected partially the requester can see the SC under Check Status link with the status In Your Inbox
When the user clicks on the Detail icon, there is only CHANGE button but when the user clicks on Approval Link
he can see Description as 'Your Shopping Cart xxxxxxxxx was change/rejected in part.Please Check' and when he click on the Detail icon there are two buttons at botton Accept Changes and Change .
Why is the Accept Changes button not there in detail display of SC under check status link?

Hello,
This is the standard behaviour of SRM4.0.
When a SC has been partially rejected the the SC goes to the requestor approval inbox. Requestor can either accept the change or he/she can change the SC and order again.
If requestor accept the change that means requestor has been accept the rejection, so requestor will not be able to create the PO for that line item. He/she needs to change the SC depending on the approval note and order again.
Check status transation is used for check the status of the shopping carts. Due to that reason the Accept change button is not exist there.

I am having a similar problem. I am using Chrome and tried on Mac and on PC but the same. Its not completing my order and on PC saying:
We were unable to process your payment please contact our customer support.......... etc
But strangely its giving a confirmation button again. It gave me this error upon reconfirmation:

Check-Status Confirmation Icon (looks like truck)-how to add verification

Currently we are using SRM 4.0 Server 500 Support SAPKIBKS05..
we would like to add a question like Are you sure? when the user hits the confirmation icon (one that looks like a truck in check status). Right now it just does the confirmation and comes back and says it has been saved. I have searched around and can not find the code/badi to put this in. Any thoughts?

You could playing with BADI's first as imtiaz and david have suggested.If that doesnt work,you can definately try to modify the ITS template.As i had done a similar reqt earlier,jst shared that with you.But as suggested by other members,alwys opt for BADI's then ITS modification as ITS modifications get overwritten in case you go for an upgrade/application of new support pack.
You can modify the HTML templates for the ITS services in SE80--> Internet service --> Templates99
To Find out the right template which is to be modified in SE80 ,click on the right ,click on the web browser and selecting View Source .

Confirm button disabled for Reporter in Solman 7.1 SP10, Incident managment

we are using CRM_UI for Incident managment. When the ticket is in status "Proposed Solution" , Reporter is not able to confirm the ticket, "Confirm" button is disabled. How to enable this button?

The confirmation button is disabled in central confirmation and Purchasing work centers.
In the PO the Goods Receipt is required is Flagged On.

    If you made any changes to the SRM PO then Please check in BBP_PD transaction for that PO any change version
    document is closed or not.If it is not closed the GR confirmation button will be inactive.
    For PO change version the Document should be closed.
    Reason : 1 .Please check the PO workflow went in Error ( Then Backend transfer will fail and I1080 Status is active still )
                   2. PO change version workflow executed successfully and there might be chance of failing database update task
                        while updating the PO.

I would like to disable the auto confirmation and auto inv buttons from the shopping cart check status only and the user should be able to do confirmation from Confirm goods/services.

BBP_SCREENVARIANT ( BUS2121) .
You can replace screen variant bbp_search_sc with your user defined screen variant YBBP_SEARCH_SC in the method of get_screenvariant_search.

SRM 7.0 Modify POWL for shopping cart check status screen

HI Experts,
The standard settings in check status for SC in SRM 7.0 is to display the sc with item level. This causes the SC number to be repeated (for no. of items in SC) and all links open the same SC in a new window.
We want to display only the header of SC and no item data should be displayed in check status.
I tried
SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->POWL and Advance Search->Adjust POWL Layout,search criteria and push buttons----choose feeder type SAPSRM_FEEDER_SC -double click field catalog-choose ITEM_DESCR, ITEM_NO, ITEM_STATUS---CHOOSE display and select HIDDEN COLUMN radio button.
This hides the corresponding columns but duplicate records are still showing.
Can some one please help?

Hi NM,
After performing the steps in first post for hiding item relevant fields you can filter the data displayed in the result by using the BADI /SAPSRM/BD_POWL_CHNG_SEL_RSLT .
In the BADI Delete the records from result internal table where SC num is repeated so that thers only one entry for each SC.
Let me know if it works for you or not.

SC still visible in check status even after GR and Invoice

Hello all,
We are on SRM 4.0 SP 4.0.
Normally SCs for which GR and invoice has been done should not be visible in the SC check status application if you dont select the "Include completed shopping carts". TBut in some cases though we have selected the "Delivery Completed" indicator in backend PO but still there are some shopping carts still visible in check status application in SRM. The values for the GR and invoice should have status of "Fully confirmed".
For such shopping carts when i manually run the report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 it replicates the correct status and the SCs disappear from the SC check status application.The BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and the CLEAN_REQREQ_UP programs are scheduled every 5 mins.
Any hints or ideas will be much appreciated.

In Check status, in extended search check whether the incuding completed shopping carts check box was checked or not.
If the check box was checked then even the completed shopping carts get displayed.
Please let me know if this is not the case.

Enabling Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status

We followed below steps Enable Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status
Go to the role of the user - PFCG - Authorizations - Change authorization data - Cross-application authorization objects - authorizations for Personal Object Work List (POWL) iViews
Specified the application ID POWL_APPID - SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS
What should be done to enable define query and personalize for all users.
We have changed the following settings -
In activity POWL_CAT - '??' , POWL_LSEL-DISALLOWED - POWL_QUERY - ?? , POWL_RA_AL - ?? , POWL_TABLE - ??.
With our current settings Create New Query and Personalize in Check Status appear but are disabled (greyed out)
New Query Button appears but clicking on it produces no output.

You could the following to check if the Query still exists in the database:
Open SQL Management Studio and connect to the SQL Server hosting the ConfigMgr database
In SQL Managemnt Studio, Expand Database, Expand CM_YourSiteCode
Expand tables and find the dbo.Queries table
Right-click the dbo.Queries table and select Select Top 1000 Rows
See if you can find your "ghost" Query
Please note - it IS NOT supported
to make direct changes to ConfigMgr database so I would properly call PSS on this one before you start getting creative.
