Connectin VC to HU2 system

Hi all,
I wanted to connect the VC to the HU2 System.
I did the following configuration:
Destination Type: Services Registry
Destination Name: HU2
System: ABAP
System Name: HU2
Hostname: iwdf1030
Installation Number: 0120003411
Client: 800
Authentication: HTTP Authentication
User ID/Password (Basic)
        User ID: <my user in HU2>
        Password: <my password>
From within the wsnavigator I can test the service, but from VC I can not get the classifications.
Now I get the following exception on the defaultstacktrace:

The problem was solved after changing the system global settings and restarting the system.

By Default OBI presentation server looks for System Delivery Profile for Users while using iBots. When SA System Subject Area is setup ...BI picks the profile from SA System. Incase you just want to have Interactive Dashboard checked...make sure you have atleast one delivery profile setup in My Accounts for that user else it will throw this error. You can give any value there.

Oracle -- ConnectInit.

Hi All,
For setting session items on a Oracle session, we are using ConnectInit method of BO system.
This method works perfectly with ODBC drivers but is posing some issues when used with Oracle driver.
BO has released a fix for this with Patch ID:38,977,350 or ADAPT00605690. Can you please let me know how we can get this patch? Also is there a Linux Version of this patch?

RFC not created in receiver system

Hi,
FIile-rfc received in receiver system until yesterday.now the RFC not reaching to receiver system.They are no changes and no change in RFC structure.
all the ques are clear and RFC connectin to the receiver system is alo fine and CC monitoring is also green and in the audit log everything is sucessful.sxmb?moni messages are sucessful.
please let me know where i can check ...

Did you see any logs in receiver RFC channel?
Check the receiver service for interface in moni- SOAP header-Main document.
Also check if any conditions are specified in receiver determination.

We are consuming the service " PurchaseOrderCreateRequestConfirmation_In" from the HU2 system in one of my BPM process . But when I am testing it in the WS Navigator I am not able to fill the right input parameters . Please provide me with the TEST DATA for this service or let me know where to locate it if available in the ES Workplace.

Problem running OutboundDeliveryERPChangeRequestConfirmation_In

Hello Experts,
I am trying to execute an ES (OutboundDeliveryERPChangeRequestConfirmation_In) present on the HU2 system through Web Service navigator, but I am getting the following error:
CX_GDT_CONVERSION:Exception CX_SOAP_ROOT occurred (program: CL_SOAP_RUNTIME_ROOT==========CP, include: CL_SOAP_RUNTIME_ROOT==========CM004, line: 110)..An exception with the type CX_GDT_CONVERSION occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause.An error occurred during conversion between XML format and the SAP internal format
I am only providing the Outbound Delivery ID and keep all other parameters as null, but still I get the above error.
If any one has any hints for the above error, then please share.

No access to Enterprise Services via Visual Composer

Hi,
I've configured the new landscape of EsWorkplace (HU2/800) in the Visual Administrator.
After I start the Visual Composer and log in I get the list of Enterprise services normally, but when I click on the Enteprise Service to get the Data service to model in the story board, nothing happens and I can't get the Data service.
Can anybody help in this issue?

I had used fine the EsWorkplace environment until the update of the landscape, when the system id was FU2. I used the Enterprises Services directly in Visual Composer and used in the NetWeaver Developer Studio by CAF Services too.
When SAP changed the landscape (system id HU2) I received another password for my userid.
I changed my WebService Security in the Visual Administrator and when I started the test, I see that I don't get to use the Enterprise Services directly in the Visual Composer.
The applications that I created in the Developer Studio still work fine, but When I select the button "Find Data", select the HU2 system , and select the search button the result is showed at the screen , but when I click on the Enterprise Service nothing happens, and I can't get the Service for model at the Story board.

Could not receive classifications from UDDI server. Please change the UDDI.

Hello:
   Im trying to connect from CE in Visual Composer to the
    UDDI url: http://xi.esworkplace.sap.com:50200/uddi/wsdl/uddi_v3_service.wsdl
   but when I try to explore advance search in VC it shows me the following error:
   Could not receive classifications from UDDI server. Please change the UDDI server.
   Any idea?

The one that Mario is saying is not in NWDS its in CE I guess. I too face the same difficulty. I give the following details that I did in my local CE. After saving the setting I tried to clickd service registry I get some list of errors. Kindly help me and Mario in resolving this. Thanks in advance.

Dear Friends,
I have downloaded the ECC_PURCHASEORDER002QR from HU2 system (wadmin) & saved on Local PC with extension as .xml.
I have created External Service by picking up this WSDL from Local pc.
When i try to build this its giving me packing error

We are currently using NWDS v7.0.07 with java SP 12.
Any pointers to resolve this issue.

just out of curiosity why don't you use the RFC connection instead of web service? you seem to be calling an abap system.
anyway, just to be sure i guess you mean importing a web service into CAF Core as external service. Right?
what's the nature of your import parameters and your table definitions?
See there're limitations using complex types with web services. you have less problems if you're importing RFC into CAF Core. My guess is that you're using complex types in your RFC definition that cause problems when translated into WSDL. Can you try at least to the tutorial 85 "Using RFCs as External Services (Service)" https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b3529fea-0c01-0010-76a5-cf1239e38fd9?

I am getting the same error on testing this in HU2 ssystem. I would like to know more about the parameters to be passsed to make this service usable. Any test data in HU2 system would be helpfull.

Antony,
of course you need a documentation to decide which service to you for which purpose. But imho, you shouldn't have to depend on it when it comes to deciding which parameters (parameter combinations) to invoke it with.
This should be provided by either proper lookup services or by XML Schema means(restrictions, enumerations, patterns...).
I share your view that (although I did not look into the service discussed here)probably it is a design issue and they indeed din't not design that service on a business level but on a data or (internal) object basis.
AQnyway, we can only give some feedback by e.g. discussing things here but in the end we have to live it with the way they are for the time being. Glad you found your way to work with it.

Connectin the 7.1 Speaker system to LCD TV

i recently got a Lg LCD tv (26 inch)....just wanted to know that can i connect the 7.1 speaker system to the and the DVD player and will it give good output......and if not.....whts the solution or the alternative to it

I'm baffled at how you got it to work. I'd be humored to know what kind of loops you must have jumped through to get it going. Humored... and very much interested in the hack.
I brought one home from a Microcenter today for my PPC Mac Mini (10.5.2) particularly.
I've tinkered with it all day but it just is not producing any sound.
The manual instructions do not lead to results.
It does show up as a device by profiler. Alas Audio MIDI Setup is refusing to recognize the FireWave.
So I'm out $100 and am looking at another trip back to return it... unless it CAN really work.
I've emailed Griffin.
Doesn't work on a 10.5.1 Mac Pro either.
I cannot find ANY devices that will do hardware decoding via firewire /or/ usb that are supported by 10.5.2 that aren't total overkill for what I'm using it for. This seemed like a perfect solution, but I'm really dissatisfied that it didn't work out of the box and with the lack of Griffin's support.
So please if you can help me figure this out I'd really be grateful.

Access to the ES Workplace SCM System?

I use the HU2 SAP ERP 2005 ECC 600 system for developing different scenarios combining scripting languages and SAP. For further tests, I tryed to logon to the HU8 SAP SCM 5.0 system but my password doesn't work. It doesn't work for the HU5 and HU6 system also.
Do I have to register through another form for an SCM account, or is something else wrong there?
PS:
The password was reseted several times and I tryed to contact the ES Workplace
support team without any success.
