Connection Framework - HowTo run SDNConnectorExample

Hello all,
we have some trouble with the SDNConnectorExample. It always fails on the line
connection = cgService.getConnection(sapsystemalias,cp);
The following error occures after applying SP12 on JE22/Portal on a EP6.0.
We try to connect to a IDES 4.7x200 system. The Connector Test on the SLD System
object doesnt run successfully. The alias can be retrieved, but the connect still fails.

Hi Christian,
I guess it would be better to post this question on the /community [original link is broken] forum. You could get more responses there.

    Hi Christian,
    how do you authenticate? Usermapping?
    If the connection test in the systemlandscape fails, you can forget about the ConnectorExample.
    Try to get your connection properties corrected until the connection test succeeds.

    I own a 13-inch MacBook Pro and for the past day, my wifi on my laptop says I only have two bars of connection and is running very slow,but all of my other devices such as my iPhone and iPad are connecting perfectly to the wifi. How can I fix this? I have tried to shut my laptop off and let it rest and I have also re-started my wifi router three different times. Someone please help me with this problem so I can begin to use my laptop again as I take it to school and use it for class.
    Thanks so much!

    FCP, and all software on OSX, has a few different "preference" files (the extension is .plist), which store all your user settings. Each time you resize a window, change a setting, anything, this file is re-written. Kinda easy to see how they would become corrupt every now and then.
    -Close FCP
    -Navigate to User>Library>Preferences and delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
    -Navigate to User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data and delete Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
    -Empty your trash
    Relaunch FCP and see if that worked.
    Download FCP Rescue to make this process easier in the future. When you have FCP running really smooth, open FCP Rescue and create a backup of your preference files. If it starts acting wanky, just run FCP Rescue and Restore your backup preferences. Works really slick, and it's free.
    EDIT: Or use the really simple explaination that X posted as I was typing.

  • What is the best way to connect a G4 running 9.2.2 or 10 to an new imac running lion?

    What is the best way to connect a G4 running 9.2.2 or 10 to an new imac running lion?

    It should be possible to network them easily.
    Ethernet will be the most straightforward. There is no question that you can plug both Macs into a normal network and they can share files if you turn on File Sharing.
    The iMac has a Gigabit Ethernet port, and if the G4 also has Gigabit Ethernet, that will be a very fast connection through a gigabit-capable Ethernet cable or router. Otherwise both can use the slower Ethernet speeds with no problem.
    You can also network the two machines via a FireWire 800 or FireWire 400 cable if necessary, and use File Sharing that way too. Finally, you can put one Mac into FireWire Target Disk Mode, which turns it into a hard disk that the other Mac can see, but this is the least flexible since one machine goes out of service, and it's probably no faster than Gigabit Ethernet.

  • Jdbc connection blocks when run from jar

    The following code establishes a connection EXCEPT when run from within a jar file:
    String jdbcDriverName = "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver";
    String dbConnectionURL = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@192.168.2.7:1521:PRISM";
    String userName = "mdo";
    String password = "mdpass";
    // Load the JDBC driver and create a connection to the database
    Class.forName( jdbcDriverName );
    OracleDataSource dataSource = new OracleDataSource();
    dataSource.setURL( dbConnectionURL );
    dataSource.setUser( userName );
    dataSource.setPassword( password );
    connection = dataSource.getConnection();
    When run from a jar file, the application does not execute beyond the line:
    connection = dataSource.getConnection();
    No exceptions are thrown, it just appears that getConnection never returns.
    Do I need to do anything different to execute this code from within a jar file?
    Thanks in advance,
    Phil
    <><

    When building the JAR file, I inadvertently included files from two Oracle JDBC driver versions (1.2 and 1.4). I was building a single jar file with all files in it.
    I am guessing same named files existed in both driver JARs and caused "confussion" when combined into the single JAR.
    Still, I would have expected an exception to be thrown or a null connection to be returned instead if the thread just blocking.
    Thanks for all replies,
    Phil

  • ACF(Altinn Connection Framework): Message Posting using SOAP via HTTPS

    Hello Experts,
    Giving you the background , we have imported and configured interface content of ACF (Altinn Connection Framework) provided by SAP (service market place). which will basically integrate SAP HR system with Altinn (Norwegian TaX system). Sync Message will be always sent from HR system to PI and which will be sent to Altinn system via Receiver SOAP Adapter (as webservice call). The target URL of Altinn will be https://   eg https://www.altinn.no/AuthenticationExternal/SystemAuthentication.svc
    its working as expected BUT * without importing any certificate of Altinn in PI STRUST or J2EE engine’s keystore.  And Also we have not enabled HTTPS in PI.
    My Question is on Security of the message flow.
    * Since we are passing the message from PI (which is not HTTPS enabled) to Atinn System by calling Target HTTPS Webservice, whether this message is Secure ? if its secure how we can prove i ?
    my doubt is as per the link help.sap link-HTTP and SSL it says "Both parties of an HTTP connection (that is, the HTTPS client and the HTTPS server) must be technically enabled."
    but without enable the HTTPS in PI its working.
    * we tried enabling the HTTPS in PI as per help.sap link-HTTP and SSL , but no were in the Trace which shows the message was sent from HTTPS port of PI to the target URL . if you know where I can find the trace of it ?
    Regarding,
    Danab.

    Hi
    Did you figure this out?
    I am about to deploy this for a customer and have just read through the guide and I am also questioning the security part as well as how easily this is to implement on single stack - I guess I have to do configuration by hand.
    Kind Regards,

  • Can I connect a Mac running Snow Leopard to Windows Small Business Server

    I'm running the OSX 10.6.8 and want to connect to applications running on Windows Small Business Server 2008.  Is this easy or difficult or impossible?

    Most Applications intended to run in that fashion would provide a Mac client, a Windows client and a Server component, designed to interact and keep a Master database on the Server up-to-date. Custom database software could also be written for that environment. Perehaps there are options for your package to be used in that fashion, but it would have to be designed-in from the beginning.
    A web Application could also run in that fashion, with only a Web Browser on each computer interfacing to the Server software, which would keep the Master database and allow multiple access over your local Network.

    Thanks for these replies! and fast!
    I am not connected with a hub or a switch: it is a MODEM/ROUTER TrendNet TEW435BRM which goes well for DSL.
    I cannot run dmesg for know... I will look in it later.
    The computer is a new laptop (netbook type): Acer Aspire 1410 722G25n, Intel Celeron Mobile processor 723 (1.2 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 1 Core, 64 Bits, 1M cache..., 10Watts max...), VGA: Intel GMA 4500MHD UP to 732 MB DVMT, 11.6" HD LED LCD
    RAM: 2 GB memory, STORAGE: 250 GB HDD, WLAN: Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/Draft-N,

    On the internet, some said that it is known as an Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit under Windows... and that the useful linux package is AR81Family-v1.0.0.10.tar.gz for them, but impossible to find on the internet (official site is down, the archive found elsewhere do not uncompress, etc...)
    Linux is archlinux x86_64. The kernel driver in use is "atl1c" (on my ASUS eeepc beside, it is atl2 and runs well).
    Ok, so:
    - 1 read dmesg
    - 2 try with another cable (the wire I used is old).
    - 3 try with another kernel driver (have to find it)
    - 4 send back the computer to be repaired!

    This only started to happen after the iOS 7.1 update !

    Doesn't anyone sit down and 'play' before release to check if these bugs have been exterminated?

    Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion, soon after my Airport Card started disconnecting from any network and I would have to turn it off/on to get it working again and then it would die about 45 seconds later.  This repeats over and over.  I have found that if I run a continuous ping to something else on the network it will stay live and not disconnect.  So, my Airport Card will stay connected if I run a continuous ping, but without it it will die every time.  What the heck is going on?  Did Mountain Lion put something in the firmware on my Airport card that is messing it up?  I have done fresh installs many times and downgraded to lion and snow lepard and still the same issue.  Is my Wifi Nic just dead or is this some other issues like the antenna?  I have a new Wifi Nic in route from China but I want to make sure I finish running through all other possibilities before it arrives.
    Thank you
    Kevin Monette

    I'm sure you meant to post in the appropriate forum. This area is for MBP (Original). You want MacBook Pro (Late 2008 and Early 2009) here:

    1. Try typing a $ before your password, so $password.
    2. Proximity to your router without walls in the way is helpful for proper signal. Proper orientation of your router is also helpful.

  • How to : connect two routers running under another

    So this issue is tricky and i have had no luck in getting this to work. Basically what i need to do, is connect "Network 2" with "Network 1" and both run off of another larger network. The Base Network is out of my control and i cannot set or change any setting within that network's routers or DHCP Servers. Thus i am forced to set routes within my routers to communicate to each other. The need for this communication is software that runs on a server within "Network 1" needs to be available to all client computers running on both "Network 1" and 'Network 2". Obviously the computers running off the same router as the server are fine. Getting the computers running off the router for "Network 2" is the tricky part. Here is a link to a diagram of the setup : http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/m4x70r/networkquery.jpg Some of the things i have tried are setting the DMZ on "Network 1" to point at the server. Setting routes in both to point at the other. Setting the Gateway in "Network 2" router to point at the WAN address of "Network 1" and setting the DNS of "Network 2" to the WAN of "Network 1". No matter what i do, the laptops inside "Network 2" cannot ping the laptops in "Network 1" or even ping the router for "Network 1". However, when pinging the name of the server, it does show the IP addy i gave it, so it sees it in some small fashion but cannot link to it. I'm stumped. Time to get a networking cert i suppose. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

    First you have missed to mentioned the most important thing for your setup: are those two routers running in gateway mode or router mode?
    It is also quite confusing which routes you tried to set exactly. (in particular why you mentioned the DNS server?). Please simply post the exact settings of the routes you have entered on either routers.
    As you have mentioned that you have no control over the main network I guess your routers operate in gateway mode. In that case they do NAT - network address translation. NAT shares a single public IP address with multiple computers with private IP addresses inside the LAN. NAT makes computers in the LAN inaccessible from the outside unless you have configured an explicit port forwarding or DMZ host.
    Moreover, with NAT you cannot access the computers inside the LAN on an inside IP address. This is impossible because the private IP addresses inside the LAN are not visible on the outside. You can only access any computer on the WAN IP address of the router. You cannot ping any computer inside the LAN behind the router with NAT. UDP or TCP access is limited to what you forward. The DMZ host is the "default" forward which gets all ports which are not forwarded otherwise.
    If both routers are in gateway mode you don't have to define any routes on the routers as the destination subnet is not accessible. To make your server accessible you have to define port forwardings to your server on 192.168.1.2 or put it into the DMZ. You can then access the server the external IP address of the router, i.e. 10.7.2.101. The router forwards incoming traffic on that address to your server at 192.168.1.2.

  • Get a connection error when running a BODS job

    Hi All,
    I have BODS system setup in my environment. There are quite some jobs that run everyday. The jobs have stopped running since the last days. The jobs arn't failing, but they do not run.
    When I try to Execute a job, I get the error "Connection Refused: connection". When I Test the connection from BODS to CMS, it is working fine. Also, from the BODS/BO server I am able to connect/ping to the DataStore servers. My Datastores are SQL servers and ECC also.
    I do not know what is the resolution for the issue.
    Thanks,
    Amrita

    Hi Manoj,
    We recognized the issue was at the OS level, in the "Data Services"-OS Service.
    The BODS jobs are running fine now.
    Thanks,
    Amrita
