Connection Rejected message

Our website has been throwing the following error:
Fri Sep 29 20:17:12 PDT 2000:<W> <ListenThread> Connection rejected: Unable to read from the socket [host=63.36.158.35,port=2297,localport=80] Perhaps the client closed the connection.
Fri Sep 29 20:17:12 PDT 2000:<W> <ListenThread> Connection rejected: Unable to read from the socket [host=63.36.158.35,port=2301,localport=80] Perhaps the client closed the connection.
We have associated this error with a client message "Page cannot be displayed". But...we have not been able to find the root of these errors and have not been able to consistently reproduce them. What could be the cause? Can I configure the <Listen Thread> to accept more connections. Is there a singular cause for this problem. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks-
Adam

I'm confused why you posted on the Tarantella/SGD Forum then?
Yes, you can use SGD to have your Mac client display back a Solaris/Linux/Windows/Mainframe, etc application remotely.

  • Exchange 2013 - The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting message submissions because the service continues to consume more memory than the configured threshold

    Noticed at about noon that no emails had been received all day. Began to investigate and found that the MS Exchange Transport service had been set to deny email submission because it was using too much memory on the server (91%).
    The error message makes me think that we may have been getting used by malware or something similar.“The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting message submissions because the service continues to consume more memory than the
    configured threshold.”
    There are also several warning messages that list particular IP addresses and say that a connection from that IP was denied because there were already the maximum number of connections (20).
    From what I can tell, all of the IP addresses are from Taiwan.
    The time period for which some emails may be missing is from close of business yesterday ( 4/3/2014) through about 12:45 today (4/4/2014).
    From the time I spent reading and trying to figure out the error, I think we may need to readjust our throttling policies to prevent this from happening.
    The exchange server is currently running at 90%+ CPU and 50%+ memory usage the majority of the time, and I’m not sure how to fix it.
    Also, I cannot get into EMS I get a access denied message from the destination computer. (Exchange server) I want to get into there to change the throttling policy back to default, since we disabled it.
    The Error reads:
    The WinRM client cannot process the request. The WinRM client tried to use Kerberos authentication mechanism, but the destination computer <Exchange> returned an 'access denied' error. Change the configuration to allow Kerberos authentication
    mechanism to be used or specify one of the authentication mechanism supported by the server. (How do I do this?) To use Kerberos, specify the local computer name as the remote destination. (I'm trying to use EMS while logged into the local Exchange server)
    Also verify that the client computer and the destination computer are joined to a domain. (Exchange is on our domain, and the computer trying to connect is the same computer) To use basic, specify the local computer name as the remote destination, specify
    Basic authentication and provide user mane and password. Possible authentication mechanisms reported by server.

    I assumed control of this exchange system already in place and I do not have much experience with exchange 2013 or server 2012. I do know 2008, but that doesn't help very much in this situation.
    Recent changes to the system:
    About three days ago we switch our sessions policy to allow many more connections, and I believe this caused the issue. This is what I changed it to:
    Made the registry DWORD (32-bit) "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User" and modified the value to 1000. Location of registry change @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
    I just changed it to 10 from the 1000. I'm hoping this solves this. So far no.
    Also, I am not the best in the shell or command line interfaces. Any help would be wonderful!

    Hi,
    Yes, could be hardware performance issue. Try recycle the Transport process and see if the issue persists.

    hi.
    I'm not clear on this - what do you mean you are running a J2EE application from
    an editor?
    Also the error is coming from a servlet. Is one of your servlets calling a
    getParameter() method after reading from the ServletInputStream()? If it is it
    should be corrected.

  • Upgrade FMS2 - Streaming Server 3.5 - Video not streaming - NetConnection.Connect.Rejected

    I have Flash Media Server 2 set up with a simple bandwidth detection application (with serverside code), and a videoplayer application (no serverside code).    I have upgraded to Flash Media Streaming Server 3.5 and have managed to successfully get video to stream using the basic examples on the startup screen both locally and from another machine.  However, when I try and connect to either the bandwidth detection application, or the videoplayer I get the error message:
    NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
    [ Server.Reject ] : (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) : Application (**my appname**/) is not a valid signed application; loading access denied.
    I saw another post in this forum saying that for custom applications you need Flash Media Interactive Server instead of Streaming Server.  This worries me as I'm quite far down this route now and don't want to tell my boss that actually we need to find another £2k to make this a viable solution!  But looking at the credentials of Flash Media Streaming server (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/compare/), it seems to be that what I want to do is viable.  At worst I would have thought that only the bandwidth application would be a problem as it has serverside code.  But even so, the Streaming Server apparently does have bandwidth detection.  How does this work then?
    By having the Steaming Server am I somehow tied into Adobe video players if I want to use the streaming capabliities?  Am I not able to have my own named application?    Or is it simply likely that there is some setting somewhere I have missed which is causing the error.
    Any advice would be much appreciated as I'm struggling to get to the root of these answers on my own.

    You just need to define handlers specially onBWDone on client side to do Bandwidth detection. Just check example "Bandwidth" in documentation/samples/Bandwidth/Bandwidth.as.
    Since you are using VOD, i think you can just pass "true" as second parameter when you make nc.connect call in you client side and VOD application would make call to checkBandwidth and would call onBWDone when it finishes bandwidth detection. Read more about this in Client API documentation in SSLR.pdf and Dev_Guide.pdf.
    Also Adobe has come with advanced Bandwidth detection which you can do using client-side Flash Player API's - Please check this link for more info:http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashmediaserver/articles/dynstream_on_demand.html
    Also you can NetStreamInfo documentation which should be present in AS3LR (check documentation folder of FMS)

  • Did anyone tried Rejection Message Handler via Queue based method?

    Dear All,
    I am presently doing a Rejected Message Handler process and successfully implemented with File based and Web Service based. But I am not getting the clue for Queue based. We can enqueue the rejected message into queue as a JMS message via this method. But the URI format they have given is *"jdbc:oracle:thin:@<host>:<port>:<sid>#<un>/<pw>#queue"*. Format includes jdbc connection string along with queue name. For this I have created JMS module with JDBC Persistent store and created queue in it. But still I am not able to enqueue the message inside the queue. Also, is there anyway to see the queue names inside the DB. Did anyone tried this method? Could you please share the info??

    WL JMS Queue consume>BPEL1 (One way) invoke>Mediator service (one way) route> BPLE2 (one way). Also I have added transaction properties in BPEL1 and 2 + References + Services.
    Now, if there is a fault in BPEL2 the transaction should be rolled back in BPEL1 and the message should be seen in the WL queue itself. But that is not happening in my case. Everything is getting rolled back upto a point just after the >recieve activity in BPEL1 except the message is not getting rolled back to queue.There will be 2 transactions in this scenario : 1) jms queue to soa hydration store 2) soa-hydration to bpel execution.
    This is the behaviour for 1 way or async interfaces , jms adapter thread completes its transaction work after persisitng to dehydration store and another bpel system thread starts work executing the bpel code after retrieving the message off the db in a separate transaction. So the rollback you are seeing is only applicable for 2nd transaction which roll backs to the dehydration store instead of the queue.
    For synchronous interfaces, the same adapter thread will be involved for complete message processing including bpel code execution. So I think if you want to get the jms queue within the same transaction you can try set up the interfaces to be sync, even with dummy responses. This might make jms adapter thread to start a transaction --> read message off queue within the same transaction --> execute bpel code within same transaction --> complete/rollback transaction based on bpel code execution.

    When running the app against a load tool, wl 5.1 running sp9 almost stops

    Thanks Mike. I'm using Apache JMeter, test machines and server hooked to a

              on the server is pretty high, so I guess that NIC takes all the request and
              it doesn't reach weblogic. Any suggestions?

  • ListenThread Connection rejected:

    I get the following message a lot in my log.
              Tue Jan 08 14:13:18 EST 2002:<W> <ListenThread> Connection rejected: 'Login timed out after: '5000' ms on socket: 'Socket[addr=HAMPTONS2/159.234.28.15,port=3731,localport=7001]
              Why does this occur? I see that it is occuring for all of my remote users.
              I see the property weblogic.login.readTimeoutMillis if I increase it to 20 or 30 seconds would that be a problem? What does this property really control.
              thanks
              gdh

    This is read login timeout, the default is 5000 (5 seconds). If you need
              longer time for your application, tune up this property in your
              weblogic.properties:
              weblogic.login.readTimeoutMillis

  • Connection rejected, the server is in a running state.

    Have deployed webservice within weblogic. WLS starts up fine. Users can access the webserver, after a period of time, webservice hangs up and users that try to connect recieve this following message, I also see this in the weblogic.log
    The server is not able to service the request. Connection rejected, the server is in a running state. Starting service weblogic.application.internal.BackgroundDeploymentService$WaitForBackgroundCompletion, 110 of 112. Last service weblogic.deploy.service.internal.adminserver.HeartbeatService took 2ms.
    I have no idea what to do. Right now the only way to bring back the webservice is to stop the WLS process and then restart. The service can fail anywhere from within about 20 mins of WLS start-up or about within 12hrs.
    Any Ideas what this error is trying to tell me.. Is there a more permanent fix other that restarting the WLS process.
    Thank you

    wow same case here in weblogic 10.2. But I have not deployed any EJB or JMS service . It shows in Console that "Mejb" Stateless service is running. I use https port from SSL mostly.

    me the rtmp connection string. Problem is - I get
    NetConnection.Connect.Rejected every time. I tried removing it, and
    installing again. But same thing.
    This is in frame 1. Is there something wrong with this?
    my_nc = new NetConnection();
    my_nc.onStatus = function (info) {
    switch(info.code)
    case "NetConnection.Connect.Success":
    textbox.text = "success" + "\n";
    break;
    case "NetConnection.Connect.Rejected":
    textbox.text = "rejected" + "\n";
    textbox.text += info.application.msg + "\n";
    textbox.text += "Event: " + info.code + "\n";
    textbox.text += "Type: " + info.level + "\n";
    textbox.text += "Message:" + info.description + "\n";
    break;
    case "NetConnection.Connect.Failed":
    textbox.text = "failed";
    break;
    case "NetConnection.Connect.Closed":
    textbox.text += "Connection closed.";
    break;
    my_nc.connect("rtmp://exx3333.rtmphost.com/simple");
    (I didn't put in the exact rtmp string in there, since this
    is a public forum)
    The result I get printed out in the text box is:
    rejected
    undefined
    Event: NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
    Type: error
    Message:[ Server.Reject ] : (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) :
    Application (simple) is not defined.
    But - the hosting service's interface panel shows that
    application "simple" is there. I sent the hosting service a support
    request, but I probably won't hear back from them until
    Monday.

    Hi Cisco_s,
    Your code looks good - I think there's nothing you can do
    other than wait. Apparently there's something wrong with the VHOST
    configuration on their side.

  • Error: "X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication"

    I am not sure this is the correct forum to post this
    question, if it is not, I'd appreciate it if someone would
    tell me a more appropriate place.
    I have an occasional problem when I use either ssh -X or ssh -Y
    to a Oracle (nee Sun) Solaris host. I can run most
    X11 programs but when I run one particular program, the
    program will display this error message and fail:
    X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
    The program which occasionally fails is the Symantec Netbackup
    Server Administrator interface: jnbSA. Like I said other X11
    programs run fine (xeyes, xbiff, xclock, etc.) It's just this
    one application which fails intermittently. When it fails
    it will display these messages:
    DISPLAY environment variable is set to: p2:10.0
    Console was started on:
    SunOS p2 5.10 Generic_142900-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V250
    Command line options were:
    /opt/openv/netbackup/bin/jnbSA
    Starting administration console version 6.5.

    Warning: Cannot convert string "-monotype-arial-regular-r-normal---140-*-*-p--iso8859-1" to type FontStruct
    X connection to p2:10.0 host broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)
    Like I said, I can start, say xclock, immediately after
    the above termination, and it would run fine.
    It is maddening because jnbSA works sometimes, and
    fails with the above errors at other times.
    I have tried to follow this on the X11 forums, but
    most suggest making a change to /etc/sshd_config and
    while I tried changing that, it still does not correct
    this problem.
    Suggestions?

    I'm confused why you posted on the Tarantella/SGD Forum then?
    Yes, you can use SGD to have your Mac client display back a Solaris/Linux/Windows/Mainframe, etc application remotely.

  • X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication- Opera not starting

    Hi,
    I tried X11 forwarding on a remote machine by giving the command
    ssh -X user@remote-host-name
    And I successfully logged into that remote machine and X11 is working properly. Even I started mozilla, firefox etc - working properly.
    But, when I tried to start opera, I got the below error message.
    -bash-3.00# opera
    opera: $HOME set to /root. Use -personaldir if you do not want to use /root/.opera/
    X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
    opera: Fatal IO error: client killed
    I appreciate your efforts and guidelines.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Paras.

    I have no idea but the Opera support Forums are usually active and competent.

  • When I try to log in from desktop I get "Connection Refused" message. How do I fix this?

    I tried to activate Mozilla Firefox today using the normal & routine method, clicking on the Firefox Icon.
    Each time I tried I got the same message "Connection Refused".
    I went to the Firefox site and read the message regarding disabling Java, so I opened ADD ONS and Plug Ins and disabled Java.
    Still no change, so I shut down and restarted my computer.
    I keep getting the same Connection Refused message.
    What needs to be done to restore Firefox?

    Another user also reported a problem with the AT&T Yahoo home page in the past few minutes. When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
    Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
    Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
    orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
    If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
