Consignment pick-up order from a service notification

Hey SD eperts,
We defined a new notification type: AD for consignment pick-up.
My question is: is it possible to create a consignment pick order with reference to a contract from this service notification ?

I doubt if it is possible. Consignment Fill-Up Process is for transfering the Material to the Customer site, still being the ownership of the company and not Customer. This deals with Tangible Stock and not service.

Create multiple sales orders from single service notification?

Is it possible to create multiple sales orders from a single notification (IW51)?
We currently create sales orders directly within transaction IW51 (Create Service Notification). We kick off the sales order creation by pressing the "SALES ORD." button in the notification screen. We're now interested in creating a 2nd Sales Order which would tie directly to the same Service Notification. This is so that we can have the second order assigned to a different account assignment WBS (there are two different parties doing work on the service notification).
I assume you would have to go to VA01 to create the Sales Order, but am not sure how to tie it directly to the service notification from here. I treied to do a create with reference, but there is no ability to create with reference to a service notification.
Do I have to create a second service notification for the 2nd Sales Order for this to work? I want to avoid doing this if at all possible.
I'm running SAP R/3 Enterprise

Hi,
go to vtaa- copy controls for sales document to sales document.
select your combination of order and quotation go to item level. There select value 0(zero) in field positive/negative negative.
No need to change update document flow.
After setting zero in copy control that be told on above. create order with respective to the quotation.
After saving the order.
go to document flow to see the status in between quotation and order.
If you placed setting right, then u certainly observe for quotation status will be open. so you can create no. of sales order with respect to that quotation..

How to create a Return Order from a Quality Notification?

Hi everyone at SDN.
Really need some help on this issue we are having. We want to create a Return Order from a Quality Notification, ie. the document flow should be:
:: Serv. notif 000200000482
   :: Return Order 0060299453
In the SAPGUI we are able to do this by going into transaction QN02, enter the notification number and in the menu: "Notification" --> "Functions" --> "Sales Order" --> "Create Selection of Order Type". Now we select the Return Order type and the result is as wanted.
However, we want to do all this in ABAP instead. The BAPI I have tried with is BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CREATE.
And the following code is used:
    ls_order_h_in-refobjtype = 'BUS2078'. "Quality Notification
    ls_order_h_in-refdoctype = 'Z5'. "Quality Notification type
    ls_order_h_in-refobjkey = '000200000482'. "Ref. Quality Notification
    ls_order_h_in-doc_type = 'ZREN'. "Return Order type
    ls_order_h_in-sales_org = 'S001'.
    ls_order_h_in-distr_chan = '01'.
    ls_order_h_in-division = '01'.
Then I add a material as well as the mandatory partner functions. When I execute the Return Order is created but when I check the document flow for the Return Order there is no link to the Quality Notification.
Any suggestions on how to do this? I have tried using FM RV_DOCUMENT_FLOW_UPDATE_U for updating the document flow but it doesn't seem to like it when I enter a Notification in there. And when I run FM RV_ORDER_FLOW_INFORMATION for the above (working) Return Order there is no Quality Notification available. So this leads me to believe that I have to update something else then VBFA (Sales Document Flow)...
I would really appreciate all the help I can get on this.

Consignment Pick-up order - confirmed inventory qty

We are using the SD customer consignment model, using sales order types, consignment fill up orders ZKB (copy of KB), consignment issue ZKE (copy of KE), consignment return ZKR (copy of KR) and consignment pick-up ZKA (copy of KA). We have a specific requirement to build a consignment pickup order ZKA, deliver and post goods receipt the delivery before we process the ZKR consign returns and so we go negative in the customer consigned inventory. My issue is that SAP will not allow us to confirm the qty on the ZKA sales order so we can deliver it (no schedule lines created to deliver), we need to circumvent this and just confirm and deliver the consign pick-up. This a unique situation where we are replicating transactions from another system and it's done out of order, the inventory would be negative literally a couple of hours.

Thank you for your input, I believe this is part of the problem however I believe the core of my problem is in the availability check and schedule line processing. If I have no consigned inventory for a particular customer and material I still need to book a Consignment pickup as I'm replicating transactions from an external system and will catch up and reconcile inventory within the day. I can create my ZKA (KA) order with the ZKN (KN) line item category, I can create a schedule line with the schedule line category of F0 (consPickup w/o AvCh) however when I deliver the pickup a delivery is created with the line item but with no delivery quantity and a log entry of "Only 0 EA of material XXXXX available".. What I need to do is supersede this and create the delivery with qty and post goods return it, letting the consignment inventory go negative, this will be caught up hours later when I post consignment receipts.
Any ideas?

Consignment Pick up despatched from 2 plants should be picked up to single

Our client has specific required on consignment pick up process, company despatched the consignment stocks( fillup) to stores from 2 different plants, but while taking the consignment pickup, they needs to inward in to single plant, pls suggest is there any process to meet the requirement. stores sends the materials pertaing to both the plants which can not be differianciated.

consignment dispatch to two different plants to create the sale order for two different plants , but when you go to the delivery the its comes to deliverers, one invoice and ofter you can do the excise invoice , in single invoice comes at sale order partner function are same ,
ofter you can do the consignment pick up, with reference to the consignment dispatch , in this you can select the one plant quantity , then you can do the your process,
let me tell one thing , in sale order sold to party , is same or different ,

Release Sales Order from web service

Hi Team,
I have been trying to use the relase action in the ManageSalesOrder web service to no avail. Everytime I use the xml to SOAPUI to send the request with sales order id, it kicks back saying not authorized.
I am using the ManageSalesOrder to do multiple other things through SOAPUI, this one seems to be the only stickler.
1. I can create the sales order just fine.
2. I can set the price of the item
3. Various other things.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

I am trying to take the released sales order all the way to invoice.
Sales Order > Release > Delivery Propsal > Release > Invoice Request
Once I am at Invoice Request the status of my sales order (invoice) is "Processed" when it should be "To Be invoiced"

How and which web service do I use to "Post Goods Issue"(in the GUI when "Post Goods Issue" button is clicked it requires you to fill out "Actual Quantity").
In this screen shot:
the first item was create through the GUI use the Devlivery Propsal "Post Goods Issue" button.
the second item was created throug ManageSalesOrder web service.

Control/Default values in Service Notifications and Service Orders

Hi all,
When in transaction IW52 and IW32 I know you can maintain a set of default values for when you are either creating a Service Notificaiton and/or a Service Order.
My scenario is as follows:-
User 1 has a set of default values and it contains Work Centre A. User 1 then creates a Service Notification.
User 2 has a set of default values and it contains Work Centre B. User 2 then reviews the Service Notification created by User 1 and wishes to create a Service Order.
When User 2 creates the Service Order, the default value for the Work Centre is using User 1's Work Centre (Work centre A) and not their own Work Centre of Work Centre B?
What is stopping User 2 picking up their own Work Centre of Work Centre B when they want to create a Service Order from a Service Notification?

The order takes its data from the notification (which got it from USER1's defaults).
What you need to do is change the notification work centre to that of USER2's preferred default value.
There is no standard setting for this. However, all is not lost. It may be possible by misuing one of the order user-exits

Hi,
You can trying using Books of Business.
Create a book and add that particular user to that book and at the time of task creation, through a workflow you can assign it to the corresponding book.
This might resolve the access issue you are facing.

Return Sales order from PM notification

While creating a return sales order for a equipment which has service item from PM service notification . System is showing an error message while saving service notification instead of careting a return sales order. The error message as follows.

We have equipment Master data for this main item also maintained equipment BOM. We checked alll our config as per SAP note for this message number. Every thing looks like is OK. But We are not sure what could be the reason u201C

Service notifications fall under the one-order concept. if it's possible to send the data, then it's with the business transactions subscription: assign it to the r/3 site and see what happens.

could someone let me know please if ther's an BAPI or other way to create service order with a reference to service notification so that when calling the BAPI or function mudole to create the service order its get the entire data from the reference of the service notification .
example of this situation is when executing IW52 transaction nd from the main screen of change service notification a button of service order takes the data from the service notification to the service order .

Activity Long Text from Service Notification

We are designing a report to fetch some fields from the service notification. I am not able to get 2 fileds which are 'Notification Long Text' and 'Activity Long Text'. Can anyone help us to find out how we can bring these fields into the report?
(I can get activity text from table QMMA, but from where can I get activity long text?)
Please let us know the table names or any fucntional module to fetch these field values?

Delete Assignment of Sales Order to Service Notification

Hi,
I would like to delete the assignment of a sales order to a service notification (not delete the sales order itself). Can this be done without development?
For the assignment of a service order to a service notification, this deletion is possible via the dropdown menu in the service notification.
When I look at the business processes for system/user status, I do see a business process "Cancel sales order assignment". I tried to trigger it using a user status but that trick does not seem to work.

Hello,
I solved this creating a new activity in the action box, assigning Business transaction "PMMC - Cancel sale order assignment" and leaving function module blank. It resets the system status "SOAS - Sales Order Assigned".
To do something better, it would be useful to write a custom FM that clears possible fields containing the relationship (such as QMEL-VBELN).
