Consolidated qty of a component to be issued.

Hi Dudes,
Suppose a component A will be consumed in the orders of x, y and z materials. My clinet will have the data of consolidated qty of component A rather than the data of consumption qty per each order. They say its not possible to split all like component quantities order wise or order header material wise.
HOw can we suggest a method to facilitate.

What's your exact requirement?
If your problem is filling the data for Good's issue,then try the option Adopt+details while carrying out
MB1A as suggested by our forum friend.
If your problem is how to find out the consumed quantity for each order means,then execute MB51 by
entering the plant, movement type 261 and the date range.
After executing click on Detailed list (ControlshiftF12) and then current display variant (control+F8)
and select order to be displayed and press enter,now you will be able to see the order no's also.
Check & revert back.

Cost Component Structure (OKTZ) Issue - Max number of cost fields reached

Hello.
I'm having this issue in OKTZ when adding new cost component in an exisiting cost component structure. it says "maximum number of cost fields reached (40)".
not sure what to do with this.

Hi Andrew,
When yo create the Cost Components in the Cost Component Structure, inside each Cost Component, there will be properties relating to whether the Cost in that Cost Component is Fixed / Variable, relevant to Inventory Valuation or not etc.
To view these options...Go to OKTZ, select the line of your Cost Component Structure, double click on "Cost Component with Attributes" in the left side navigation. Now, you will be able to see the list Cost Components on right hand side. If you double click on any Cost Component, you will see the properties of that Cost Component.
There, you can see ther radio buttons "Variable Costs" and "Fixed and Variable Costs".
Now, in Standard SAP, you will be able to create a maximum 40 Cost Components. The behaviour of the system goes like this.... If one Cost Component is only "Variable Cost", it will take the space of one Cost Component out of the maximum 40. If one Cost Component is of "Fixed and Variable Costs", then it will take the space of two Cost Components out of the maximum 40. That means, if all of your Cost Components are "Fixed and Variable", then you will be able to create only 20 Cost Components.

The cost components are listed in a cost component structure that can contain up to 40 cost components (cost fields).
You can create up to 40 cost components that contain variable costs.
For cost components that contain full costs, the system creates a second cost field for the fixed costs. This means that you can create no more than 20 cost components that are full costs.

Spark Component TextArea Performance Issues

The spark component TextArea cannot handle large text volumes gracefully. I am using a simple ascii file that is about 1.2 mg in size and I experience the following problems:
1. Pasting the 1.2 mg of text in the TextArea takes a very long time (about 20-30 second). I get a message that the request timed out then the text is finally shown in the text area.
2. Once the text is in the TextArea, paging up and down fast (that is not waiting for the previous page up and page down to complete) can cause the application to freeze. It takes a long time for it to come back.
3. Selecting a large chunck of data and doing cut/paste/delete can also cause a freeze that may take a 20 or more seconds.
The new spark.components.TextArea is definitely an improvement over mx.controls.TextArea but still has serious performance issues. A simple HTML text area seems to process the same volume without any issues (except some delay at the initial loading). Is there a chance these issues will be addressed before the release of FlashBuilder 4.0? is there a work around?

Not much is needed. You can create an application that has nothing but the textarea:

run it, copy the text in the attached Sample.txt file and paste into the text area. It takes more than 1 minute (did not time it) and then just before the text is displayed, I get this error message:
Error: Error #1502: A script has executed for longer than the default timeout period of 15 seconds.
The text is transferred to the textarea but the textarea is very sluggish (try arrow up, arrow down, page up, page down, try typing in the text area and then finally try select all and then cut or delete).

Component and hdmi issues

So I wanted to see if I could send the ATV signal from both component and hdmi outputs. Currently, I am using HDMI only to my Pioneer Pro 1120 at the 720 setting, but I wanted to send the signal to another tv (with component only) as well.
I could not output both signals, but when I went to output only the component signal, I could not get a signal (even on the Pioneer which auto adjusts the video resolution based on the input). Do I need to reboot when changing the AV output? I have tried the component on two different tv's. Do I have a bad component output on my ATV or am I missing a setting step somewhere?

Development Component (DC) Structuring Issue

Following is the scenario where I am facing the problem :
I have J2EE LIB DC which contains JAVA DC--Lets call this DC as LibDC
I have two EP DC--Lets call these dc's as epDC1 and epDC2
I have EAR (EJB) DC..where I am using Message Driven Bean (MDB) --that is subscribed to Topic inorder to read the messages...Lets call this DC as earDC.
LibDC contains the classes that are shared by all the DC's (epDC1,epDC1,earDC) and JMS client is also the part of this DC (LibDC).
Now epDC1 trigger the JMS by calling the method sitting in LibDC..which in turn publish the message to topic and MDB consume the message and do the remaining business process.
Whole scenario works perfect when I deploy all the DC's...but the problem is.. When ever I make changes to epDC1 and deploy it..it won't work and throws the exception as CLASSCASTEXCEPTION or NOCLASSDEFFOUNDERROR...But If I deploy all the DC's than I dont see any problem..
Every time If I deploy any DC that is using LibDC than I am getting the exception...but If I redeploy all the DC's than I dont have any issues.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Hi,
These errors occurs due to inconsistencies and DC not in sync. check the service packs and versions numbers of the SCA files your are importing. Also import the dependencies into your track.

Menubar component and xml issue

Hi folks,
I am using the menuBar component that ships with mx2004pro,
to choose galleries in an xml gallery. The gallery selector code is
this:
It's the second to last line, bassmenu.childNodes.onRelease =
function, that I am having trouble with. bassmenu is the instance
name of the component. The menubar component is loading the xml
just fine. If I change the above to "bassmenu.onRelease =
function..." the top level buttons on the bar will change the
gallery. I just can't figure out how to address the child nodes of
the menubar.
I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on this, bought and
read a book, read every tutorial and help file out there, any help
would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to post the source
and the xml if that helps.

Component Deployment / Development Issues

Hi All,
I've been tasked with developing a few components to help decode incoming barcode information and ran into the following issues:
Must compile using Java 1.5;
Add directory entries must be checked;
A slash "\" can not be used anywhere in the code; "new Character((char)47).toString()" was used instead.
Example.class.getPackage().getName() does not work;
After waisting a day of debugging trying to understand and resolve the above issues, I was wondering if someone propose sites that have tips and tricks, examples, etc. outside the Adobe Forums or Adobe Documentation (It's very sparce).

MRP areas--Component To be issues for different MRP areas

Dear All
I have this scenario for MRP areas--- MRP area 2000 and 3000..these areas are basically 2 separate physical production facitilties...One is main production plant and other is lab for making samples.... But they store the raw material stock seprately..stock for raw material for main production is in main warehouse 2000 and stock for samples lab in in their mini warehosuese 3000.
Busniess wants to consume stock from main production warehosue when doing main production and to consume stock from samples warehosue when doing samples production. BUT header item is same and raw materials are also same. Means the same BOM.
Example-- FG1 and it has RM1 and RM2 in BOM
Kindly help to do settings\configuration somehow that when we do production in 2000, compoenent are comsumed from 2000 and when we do production in 3000, components from 3000.
I extended FG on both MRP areas. even for RM1 anf RM2, i extended it on both MRP areas. So in MRP2 view prodcution stprage location is 2000 and with MRP area MRP 2 view production storage location is 3000.
It did not work.

Hi,
What you need is a way to determine the proper issue storage location for the two cases.
Since, as you say, the BOM is the same, you need to use production versions. In the definition of the production version you can control the issue storage location for the components of the order.
All you need then is to choose the right production version for each case when you create the order.

Component over Heating issue

i have recently upgraded my HP laptop to Windows 10 since then, one part of my laptop has been getting VERY hot. it is located on the right hand side of the underside of the laptop (next to the CMOS battery). it also has a ventilation grill over it (see image. the red arrow is pointing to the CMOS battery. then next to it there is a small ventilation grill. I want to know what component lays underneath this grill as this is what is overheating thanks

Fetching open component qty against production order

The requirement is to fetch component 'open quantity' for a production order. [ Open quantity = requirement - withdrawn qty of the component ]
Can we get it through /SAPAPO/OM_ORDER_GET_DATA ? I could see the requirement quantity but not the quantity required.

I did as you told me about use MB1A/261 against production order and you rigth, This not up date any quantity in production order for component only I can see this movoment in option GOTO --> Documented goods movements, but not in component overview in field Qty withdrawn, It is the same case when I use MB1A/262 transation allow me to do the movment but the quantity in production order for component is not up date only it is show in GOTO --> Documented goods movements
I see in standard process it is not work as I expect. Is there some way for to do that any bapi o customization?

There is requirement to calculate value for given period as Value of Total Stock - Value of Total issue qty.

Mass reversal of one component issued to many production orders

Hello SAP GURUS
One of the common component is issued to many production orders from wrong storage location ie instead of 0002 storage location it got issued from storage location0001,
Is there any way to mass reverse of this common component that got issued to multiple production orders

In my understanding,There is no standard T Code to do this mass reversal.
But in MIGO/MB1A you can do 262 movement to the same storage location from which it was consumed for one single
production order if required or else you have to cancel all the documents using MBST.

BOM Component Qty.

In Casting Industries the consumption of rawmaterials for furnace is vary for every production.The Consumption is based on availablity of meatal scraps and also cost.How to Craete BOM for this Scenario.

Consider the furnace capacity as base quqntity for the BOM. Then define the other components as per requirement in BOM. For the fix componenets and their qty mark that component as fixed quantity in item details. I think maximun variation will be in scrap and rement consumption. For different capacity of furnace you can define different production versions. If you are using REM then this process will work properly in casting production process. Let me know for further requirement.

US Elims - Legal Consolidation issue

We are currently running US eliminations and we want to do legal consolidation. After consolidation all the records are apprearing in the Consolidation scopes defined in the scope dimensions other than my US_Elim transaction which appear in No Scope "S_NONE". I have defined US_ELIM as a member of Audit Trail dimension with Data type = 'A'.
My initial data is loaded from BW in scope S_NONE. To see my consolidated financial statements, I am having an issue bringing both S_NONE (for US Elims) and S_* for my consolidated results as this will double up my results.
Can you please help me out with this?

Browser specific Issue with af:fileDownloadActionListener/ component.

We are facing an issue with <af:fileDownloadActionListener/> component.
The issue is that when we download a particular file to the local system/machine, after downloading the file using <af:fileDownloadActionListener/>, none of the actions/links/button work on the page thereafter. We have to do a browser refresh or switch the URL.
After doing some investigation, it is looking like a browser specific issue, as this is reproducible only on chrome but not on firefox or IE.
The UI component used is <af:fileDownloadActionListener/> component. Below is the snippet of the code. Is there anything to be specified for af:fileDownloadActionListener?

Jdveloper version is 11g. But we saw this issue with 12c as well.
I have reproduced this in a standalone application as well. I had a page on which I just had a button attached to the file download component. And I faced the similar situation - works fine on IE/FF but causing issues on chrome/safari.
