"Contains no actionscript" - yes it does!
Hi,
I'm new to Flash and actionscripting, but this issue also
seems to boggle the minds of more experienced Flash users in the
company I work for, and nobody has come up with an answer to this.
I use Flash CS3 on PC. I should add that I also use the TxEff
components by JumpEye. I'm working on a movie that definitely
contains actionscript (see below), but when I save the file, all
the scripting is ignored, and when I run the debugger, it says the
movie cannot be debugged because it contains no actionscript! If I
click the "check syntax" button, it says the script contains errors
and that I should check the "Compiler Errors" panel. In that panel,
there's nothing at all. It's just blank.
If I copy the frames into a brand new document, it works. I
can preview the movie as well, and publish it. It's when the
document is saved that it happens.
I sent a file to the TxEff folks to eliminate the possibility
that it's the component's fault, but they couldn't duplicate the
error on their end, which leads me to believe that there's
something in my Flash setup that is wrong.
Below is the actionscript that I have in the movie (at frame
10), but I don't think it's the scripting itself since the same
thing has happened in other movies I've made.
ANY help you can provide in helping me solve this would be
very much appreciated.

problem fla to the new fla until you pinpoint the problem, or
2. remove that component from your library and create a
movieclip with class = TXEFF and retest.

I am settling on the following, but there is a hangup related to the field that is being looked at for the condition that I will explain in a minute. Here's the script:

What happens is that, no matter which row in my table I'm in when I click the remove instance button, the script is always looking to the DebitVal field in the first row of the table. So, if the first row is empty, the message box won't appear for the removal of any row in my table. If the first row has a value in DebitVal, then the deletion of any row in the table will trigger the message box.
I need a way to specify the script to look at the DebitVal field in the row that I am clicking in, without messing up the remove instance command.

You may be thinking - that's great but Captivate doesn't publish for Tin Can.
Well, I'm here to tell you about a litle project that aims to allow you to take Captivate swfs and drop them into a Tin Can package that will communicate with the LRS. I've so far developed a proof of concept - a Captivate swf that reports to a TIn Can LRS and also successfully bookmarks. Its far from being a finished product and there's a lot of stuff like hard coded variables and missing functionality, but the basics are there.

@garemokoHi folks,My host are still being rubbish so I've re-written the site in static HTML, moved it across to Github and re-pointed the DNS. All the good content is not available again, but in a nicer and mobile friendlier format. http://www.tincanapi.co.uk
The downside is that all of the urls have changed for the individual pages so any existing links to specific pages will get a lovely custom 404 error and need to be changed to point to the new location.

Eclipse "selection does not contain main type" - but it does contain a main
Hi!
I'm having a strange thing happen to me when using the eclipse IDE in a macintosh envirnment.
I imported a project, complete with package, and all of my classes. and when I try to run my main class, it tells me "selection does not contain main type".
Which is entirely untrue, the class I am trying to run contains a public static void main(), does anyone know what's going on here?the class is quite large, I don't think that it is a problem with the class, because it runs fine on my windows based pc (also in eclipse)...

"Item Containing Primary Key Column Value" does not display records
Hello,
We are developing a new page where an "Automated Row Fetch" process is needed.
With other pages we experienced no issues. But with a new one, when defining the value for the field “Item Containing Primary Key Column Value”, Apex displays no rows.
As far as we know, Apex should display all the fields defined for the page. Is there any property which affects the fields visibility?
The affected page has textarea and text fields.

Sorry, we have already detected that the problem was at field definition.
Fields should be defined as "Source Type: Database Column". They were wrong defined.

WHen I connect my iPhone 5C to my laptop containing my iTunes Library, nothing happens for a couple of minutes and then I get an error message saying phone timed out. Can anyone shed any light on this problem please?

Font contains bad/widths message, what does that mean?
I saved a pdf file and a message came up with "The font * contains bad/width". There are places in my pdf, that have bad font formatting. What can I do to get my font formatting to correct itself? I had a file that was perfect, I then renamed it to change some parts of it. The newly renamed file is giving me this error message. I have Acrobat 8 professional and Windows XP.
Are the places with bad font formatting, the places that were changed when you changed some parts of it? How did you change the file..insert another pdf page?...edited text? or what?

External drive contains all music files, but does not show in library?
I have an ecternal that holds all of my music. I recently tried to access all of the music and itunes does not show them. I have tried to change the advanced settings to that drive and folder and i have consolidated the library, but I am pretty sure that is just to put the itunes music there. What I need is to setup my library to pull the files from that drive when I open itunes. I just removed itunes and quicktime, and downloaded the latest version of itunes. Can someone help? We have another computer that works correctly, and the settings are the same....
it might, im not really familiar with XP though... i know that some times windows have the "apply" button when ever you make any changes to settings. If there is one did you select it?? I wonder if you can install itunes onto the external hd but to run it it would have to always be connected to the computer...i dont know..lol

I am getting the following error when i am trying to migrate the form to apex using application migration.

Actully i am having one schema which i named as SCM, and i have defined one table TT.
I created one form test.fmb in which i used TT table.its compiled successfully.
Then i generated the xml file using frmf2xml from fmb file. After that, I created the project in appication migration wizard in SCM schema.
Project creattion is working fine.but when i m trying to create application,it is showing me above error.

During our execution of report we are getting the below error:
Set 0102PCBT1IPROVDIV in set 0002$ZA13#######ROW0236 does not contain any entries
Message no. GR657
Diagnosis
You cannot use empty sets to define reports. The single-dimension set contains a basic set that does not contain any values.
Procedure
Use a set that contains at least one value, or enter values for the set defined.
This has been discussed in a similar Thread in May 2010 by puri & Praveen Jagdeesan,
However I am unable to trace the set & how to delete the blank values.
0002$ZA13#######ROW0236 or ROW0236 in the system.
Set 1IPROVDIV is exisitng in system.
Also when we go to KAH3 - Cost element hierarchy & see in the where used list we are not able to see the set being used in the report whereas the system from where we have exported the report we can see that this set is being used in the report.

How does 'Does not contains' work in advanced search?
I'm deploying a application based on JHeadsart and i am very enthusiastic about it! Thanks for the good work. I have a question about the 'Does not contains' search option in the advanced search/set by user mode.
It looks i have to use wildcards which is not necessary with the contains option.
Example:
In the JHeadstart demo tutorial.
I search on the lastname of employees with 'does not contain'.
If i use does not contain 'A' i get 107 records
If i use does not contain '%a%' i get 51 records
If i do not enter any criteria i get 107 records.
Is this the intended behavior?

This is not intended behavior, you have found a bug!
It turns out that we do set the wildcard usage in case of "does not contain", but we only interpret this wildcard usage if the operator is "like" (and we should also do this when the operator is "not like").
We will fix it in the upcoming release. If you want to fix it before that, you should make a subclass of JhsApplicationModuleImpl and use that as the superclass of your application modules. In your Impl class, override advancedSearch(String, ArrayList, Boolean), and use instead of QueryAttribute your own subclass of QueryAttribute. In your subclass of QueryAttribute override getQueryValue to also apply the wildcardUsage when the operator is NOT LIKE.
