Content Query order by

I am using this CMIS query for a content query:
SELECT cmis:name from cmis:document WHERE IN_TREE('/AcqUCM/IDC:Folder/687225755214001010') ORDER BY cmis:name ASC
I am getting an error:
Caused by: oracle.webcenter.content.integration.cmis.query.ParseException: May 23, 2011 3:45:19 PM oracle.webcenter.content.integration.cmis.query.VcrExpressionSearchDelegate registerOrderBy
SEVERE: Not an orderable property: cmis:name.
How can I order my query results???
Thanks,
Mitch

try this:
select * from ora:t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE IN_TREE('/AcqUCM/IDC:Folder/687225755214001010')  ORDER BY ora:p:dDocTitle ASCor
SELECT cmis:name from cmis:document WHERE IN_TREE('/AcqUCM/IDC:Folder/687225755214001010') ORDER BY ora:p:dDocTitle ASCOne thing that you can check is that the metadata fields in UCM are searchable but i think dDocName and dDocTitle are searchable by default...
It is possible that you might run the indexer for UCM. This can be done in the admin applets in UCM. If you don't know how, i will give you some more details tomorrow when i have an UCM server.

  • Omit first document in a content query

    Hello,
    I would like a content query web part to skip over the first item in the query and display the subsequent items. So if I'm limiting the web part to three results, I want results 2, 3, and 4, not 1, 2, and 3.
    I have a sense that something like this might be possible using a the offset property in a CAML query, but I don't know anything about CAML or where to put the code.
    I want to order the items based on an article date column (not the creation date), in descending order.
    Thanks for any help you can provide,
    David

    Thank you for responding to this question. Unfortunately, the solution still seems to be beyond my grasp. I've passed this information on to my programming colleague, but we're still struggling to find the answer. The following are his questions:
    I want to build a SharePoint page with 2 CQWPs.  The first CQWP is very simple I just want to return the first article by date to be highlighted as a primary article.  The second CQWP is the problem.  I want to run the query over the same
    article lists but skip or ignore the first one which is returned by the first CQWP and return articles 2, 3, 4, etc.  I can easily do this with a single SQL statement by nesting queries and using the NOT IN clause to return all articles not in the first
    article query.  My problem is I am new to CAML and cannot translate this SQL into anything that will work.  If anyone could help with this problem that would be awesome.  Maybe there is a way to do this that I am not thinking of, any ideas would
    be helpful.  The SQL below is just a sandbox sample of the query that would return the results for the second list.
    SELECT Article.ID, Article.Title, Article.Date
    FROM Article
    WHERE Article.ID NOT IN
         (SELECT TOP 1 Article.ID FROM Article WHERE (((Article.Date)>#10/1/2014#))
                      ORDER BY
    Article.Date, Article.Title;)
    AND (((Article.Date)>#10/1/2014#))
    ORDER BY Article.Date, Article.Title;

  • Content Query not producing results when using [Me] filter

    Hi
    I'm using a Content Query web part and I'm trying to show the most recent document modified by each site user by applying it across the site collection and using the Filter, Modified By [_Hidden] equals [Me]. However, this doesn't seem to work for any user
    - the web part is always blank. I have tried different combinations such changing equals to contains, and using the Modified By field etc - nothing gives me the correct results. If I instead take the [Me] out and instead use the "people chooser"
    and set to a specific person then I seem to get the results I would expect - however I cannot hard code a given user.
    Does anyone know how to use [Me] correctly?
    Thanks

    Symptom
    How can you monitor the performance of a query in BW?
    Other terms

    Solution
    1) Activate the saving of statistical data for each InfoCube
    -> BW Admin Workbench - Tools -> BW Statistics for Infoproviders ->
    Select the "OLAP" field for the InfoCube.
    3) Execute report/query
    2) Analyze the RSDDSTAT table using Transaction SE16
    Access, for example, using the InfoCube name or the user name or the
    timestamp
    1. Times that are saved:
    QTIMEOLAPINIT
    Time of the initialization of the query (for example, loading query in OLAP, compiling if required)
    QTIMEOLAP
    Time that the OLAP processor required
    QTIMEDB
    Time the database + network required to select the transaction data. The time is measured from when the SQL command is send to the database, and it is stopped when the requested data reaches the application server. This time therefore includes the transport on the network and the selection on the database.
    QTIMEVARDP
    Time the user required to enter the variables
    QTIMEUSER
    Time the user required between the navigation steps
    QTIMECLIENT
    Time of data formatting in the frontend
    The time measurment starts when the OLAP processor has completed the data formatting. The data is then sent to the frontend (EXCEL). The time is stopped when the frontend (BW add-in in EXCEL) has inserted all data in the worksheets (writing the contents and formatting cell, if required). The time therefore includes the transport on the network with the RFC connection and the output in the frontend.
    TIMECHAVLREAD
    Time required to read master data
    TIMEAUTHCHECK
    Runtime of the authorization check.
    TIMEREST
    Time that could not be assigned in more detail (should be equal to 0; if this is not the case, something in the internal processing of the OLAP processor occured differently than expected.)
    QRUNTIMECATEGORY
    Time of a navigation step (QTIMEOLAPINIT + QTIMEOLAP + QTIMEDB + QTIMEEXCEL + QTIMECHAVLREAD) rounded to the next higher scaling (1,10,100,1000 ... seconds). As of 1.2B, this is rounded to 1,2,3, ... 10,20,30,...100,200,300,... seconds.
    1. Data regarding the size of the query:
    QDBSEL
    Number of the records that had to be read on the database
    QDBTRANS
    Number of records that the database transferred to the server
    QNUMCELLS
    Number of cells that were transferred to the frontend
    QNUMRANGES
    Number of formattings that were transferred to the frontend
    RECCHAVLREAD
    Number of master data records to be read
    1. In addition, the following is saved:
    QAGGRUSED
    Name of the aggregate used
    QNACHLESEN
    Indicator: Query reads during each navigation step
    1. Administrative information
    STATUID
    Key of the table; link in view RSDDSTAT_V
    QSESSION
    All data for a call of the frontend (between start and end of the frontend) is compounded with this unique GUID.
    QNAVSTEP
    The navigation steps of a QSESSION are numbered in ascending order
    QNUMOLAPREADS
    Number of read operations OLAP processor for each navigation step
    HANDLE
    In the frontend, each embedded query has a separate, sequential number (handle)
    If you want to analyze a certain query, start it and filter the values from the table afterwards: Selection options: infocube, user name, queryid (can be determined in the report monitor (Transaction RSRT)-> Technical information). The STARTTIME (UTC time) tells you whether you have found the correct session.
    You can recognize a session because the QSESSION is always assigned the same ID. The sequence of the navigation steps is saved in QNAVSTEP. However, you can also determine it using the STARTTIME.

  • Duplicate groups in Content Query Web Part in SharePoint 2010

    Hello,
    I'm facing one weird issue in CQWP. I've a document library in SharePoint 2010 site where I have 2 columns - Title and Document Type. The column 'Document Type' is a Single line of Text column and mandatory. Users have entered bunch of documents in this
    library by populating the metadata.
    On one wiki page I have a CQWP where I'm showing the documents of this library grouped by 'Document Type'. The problem I am facing is that some documents are showing in different columns even though their 'Document Type' value is exactly same. Please see
    below screenshot:
    You can see that the documents under 'Industry Group Publications' are showing in 3 different columns, why?
    My CQWP settings are:
    Presentation: Number of columns to be shown: 5 (I've changed it to 3 also, but the same result)
    Group items by: Document Type and sort order is Ascending (I've tried changing sort order as well, same result)
    Limit number of items to display: This checkbox is unchecked (unlimited)
    It's not just one case. I've seen this issue on other sites as well where same 'Group by' column value is being shown in different column rather than under same column while values are EXACTLY same.
    Has anybody else faced this issue? What's the reason and solution to this problem?
    Thanks in advance!
    --Ashish

    Hi Ashish,
    I tried to reproduce the issue in my environment. I created a content query web part displaying one library documents. The library has two columns, title and document type. However, document type is a single text column you need to manually write content
    into.
    I set the web part to group items by document type and left other settings to be by default. It worked as expected. I’d like to know if there is any difference from your situation, especially for the document type column so I can reproduce the issue from
    my side.

  • Sharepoint 2013 Content query webpart translation "BUG"

    I want to use a CQWP form my SharePoint(online) site in order to show all links in the link webparts. The site is in the Dutch language. What I want to do is described here:
    http://www.its-on-the-internet-so-it-must-be-true.com/2013/01/sharepoint-link-list-content-query.html So in the properties of the webpart I want to do this:
    In Dutch this looks like this (image 2 in my comment):
    Link; URL [Basiskolommen];
    Title: Comments;
    The field "Comments" is ok, this is a part of the URL when I go to the properties of that field "89%7D&Field=Comments"
    When I press apply in the properties the result is fine. The webpart return the link to a external site where the description of the link is the "Comments" field (in this example "SharePoint blog") (image 3):
    However, after that, when I press save (page). This is changes: Now I see the complete URL and not the description anymore (image 4)
    When I check the properties of the webpart I see that the field "Comments" is translated.
    Now is says "Opmerkingen". I do not have any clue how to avoid this translation.
    Any suggestions?
    thanks, Mike

    Hi Mike,
    According to your description, there is an unexpected issue occur when using a Content Query Web Part to query the Link list in your online environment.
    This is what I have done in my environment: in a Dutch site, create a Link list, add a column “Comments” into it. Then insert a Content Query Web Part into a page,
    set the “Presentation” as “Title: Comments;”, apply and save the page.
    It turns out that the “Title: Comments;” stay the same without being translated.
    In the web part properties panel:
    I would suggest you create another page and Link list and make the test again to see if it is an issue of the page in use.
    Feel free to reply if there any progress.

  • Content Query Webpart For Slider

    I'm trying to create a simple jquery slider with the help of Content Query Webpart in sharepoint 2013. Can anyone help me on this with a simple video or example like how I can achieve this.

    Hi Sreejith,
    To display the search results as a slider in Content Query web part(CQWP), we can upload the
    JQuery plugin to SharePoint and create a Custom ContentQueryMain.xsl and ItemStyle.xsl to render the results.
    Here are some examples about the detailed steps for integrating a Slider with the Content Query Web Part in the links below for your reference(same for SharePoint 2013):

  • How do I use the Parameters from URL to filter on Content Query in ItemStyle.xsl?

    Hi, I might need your help with code that Content Query under <xsl:Template...> that I need a filter for 3 parameter from url (from date, to date(for date range) and type.
    eg: www.mywebsite.com/pages/Filter.aspx?DateFrom=01/01/2012&DateTo=01/01/2013&Type=sports
    I've google for help and not sure they seem working so far.

    Hi,
    If you want to filter a Content Query Web Part with the parameters from URL, we can achieve it with OOTB of Content Query Web Part by adding "Additional Filters" in "Web Part Properties"->"Query". We can add
    three filters like:
    date is greater than [PageQueryString:DateFrom]
    And
    date is less than [PageQueryString:DateTo]
    And
    type is equal to [PageQueryString:Type]
    Then redirect to the URL: www.mywebsite.com/pages/Filter.aspx?DateFrom=01/01/2012&DateTo=01/01/2013&Type=sports, the query results will be filtered.
    Please reply freely if I misunderstand your meaning or there any other questions.

  • How to display the field name in the tabulated view for a content query web part

    I have added a content query web part changed the web part file to include custom columns imported and reffered itemstyle.xsl
    to include the tabulated view for the content query.
    However the way it is displayed is such that only the content is displayed.
    As i am using a tabular view wto display the data, i want to display their field names as well.

    Hi  ,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you need to display the field in the tabulated view for a content query web part.
    For your issue, please refer to the code as below:
    <xsl:template name="VendorCustomStyle" match="Row[@Style='VendorCustomStyle']" mode="itemstyle">
    <html>
    <table width="100%">
    <xsl:if test="count(preceding-sibling::*)=0">

    <td width="8%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Vendor ID</b></div></td>
    <td width="12%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Vendor Name</b></div></td>
    <td width="50%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Vendor Description</b></div></td>
    <td width="10%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Vendor Country</b></div></td>
    <td width="10%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Vendor Date</b></div></td>
    <td width="10%" valign="top"><div class="item"><b>Created By</b></div></td>
    </tr>
    </xsl:if>
    <tr>
    <td width="8%" valign="top"><div class="item"><xsl:value-of select="@VendorID" /></div></td>
    <td width="12%" valign="top"><div class="item"><xsl:value-of select="@Title" /></div></td>

    <td width="10%" valign="top"><div class="item"><xsl:value-of select="@Vendor_x005F_x0020_Country" /></div></td>

    Can you check the Content Server log file (typically UCM_server1.out on the file system) for the corresponding error message on that side?

  • Custom Column Name in Webpart file and Itemstyle for Content Query WebPart

    I was trying to incorporate  a custom column in the content Query WebPart.
    The name of the column displayed in the list is "Risk Score"; a calculated column.
    I right clicked on the field in the list settings and copy hte short cut which is pasted below:
    http://<mainURL>/_layouts/FldEdit.aspx?List=%7BFE4CC761%2DE9B8%2D487C%2D8B92%2D1E42539144C4%7D&Field=Risk%5Fx0020%5FScore
    Could you please let me know what can i type in the WebPart file exported and then to be imported in the section:
    <property name="CommonViewFields" type="string"></property>
    Also, please let me know what should i enter in the itemstyle.xsl in the section
    <td style="width:30%; font-size:10px;font-family:Verdana;color:#007EB6; border-style:solid; border-width:medium;border-color:#E1E1E1;">
    <xsl:value-of select="@Risk%5Fx0020%5FScore" />
    </td>
    Tnx

    Ok.
    Use like this
    <property name="CommonViewFields" type="string">RiskStrore,Lookup</property>
    and include like this in the itemstyle
    <td >Risk store
         <xsl:value-of select="@RiskStore" />
        </td>

  • Content Query Web Part - Custom ItemStyle.xsl to display image with hyperlink

    I don't have access to InfoPath or SharePoint Designer to edit the ItemStyle.xsl. So any solution suggested is preffered to be a manual change to ItemStyle.xsl
    I use Content Query Web part (in the main site) to list all the Wikis created in the a sub-site. The idea is to link each wiki to its printable version stored elsewhere.
    The wiki has custom column say "Link" that hold hyperlinks to the printable version.
    I want to create a column in the content query web part that displays an image (same image for all wikis stored in the site Assets) but on clicking takes me to the printable version page.
    I got the image displayed but the hyperlink takes me to the location where the image is stored and not to the printable version page.
    <!--Variable declared to read the link from the column Link-->
    <xsl:variable name="PDFLink">
    <xsl:value-of select="@Link"/>
    </xsl:variable>
    <!-- Image to the hyperlink-->
    <a href="{$PDFLink}">
    <img src="../Images/Icon.jpg"/>
    </a>

    Hyperlink column is treated a little different. The field, by default, puts the URL and then the friendly name concatenated together, but separated by a comma. So I created two variables one that pulls everythng before the comma and the other after. Then
    the html "a" tag looks like this:
    <!--Variable declared to read the link from the column Link-->
    <xsl:variable name="ActualLink" select="substring-before(@LinkColName,',')"/>
    <xsl:variable name="FriendlyName" select="substring-after(@LinkColName,',')"/>
    <!-- Image to the hyperlink-->
    <a href="{$ActualLink}"><xsl:value-of select="$LinkColumnName"/>
    <img src="/Images/Icon.jpg">
    </a>

    CQWB is supported for Publishing Sites or site having publishing feature turned on, on other it will not work as expected.
    You can add it on the page from ribbon insert web part> from categories select Content Rollup > next pane slect Content Query.
