Controling 2 Markers on Slider

I have a slider with two markers (see file attached).
This slider is used to select an area of datas to analyse.
The pb is that I don't know how to control the slider so that the operator can't move the first marker position after the second marker (and second marker must never been lower than first).

thanks for your response;
at the end, it is the result I would have : but the Vi does not resolve entirely the pb : you can always move the first marker after the second (IHM and see the red color from beginning of the slider to the second marker) , even if after, when the operator release the mouse, position of the two cursors are same.
I don't know if there is a solution to prevent the operator to move the first cursor after the second (and second before first of course) by IHM ????

Best way to control audio over multiple slides-iMovie or QT Pro?

I have a 30-slide presentation, and due to the horrendous handling of audio files by Keynote I need figure out the least painful way of controlling audio spanning multiple slides.
My end goal is to have a Quicktime file to put on the web, and to burn to a CD or DVD for viewing on individual computers. There is audio spanning 3 slides (a Garageband mix with voiceover narration built in,)and different audio for background for different groups of slides.
Least painful method to attempt this and get ACCURATE TIMING for the end product?

Make a series of Keynote presentations, one for each complete audio track. Export each as a QuickTime DV (digital video) clip. Launch iMovie and import the clips into a single iMovie project; tweak each clip's audio, as necessary. Finally, export the assembled iMovie to your intended QuickTime format.

It sounds like you have done some great troubleshooting for your iPod nano that is not responding. In this situation, if resetting it did not resolve, I would suggest restoring the iPod back to its factory settings and then sync your content back onto it from iTunes. Where is the frame rate setting control when making a slide show?

I am trying to make a slide show using QuickTime Pro and cannot find the frame rate control.I put all my consectively-numbered jpegs in one folder. I then clicked on "File," the "Open Image Sequence," then a window opened up and I click on the first jpeg in the series of photos I want in my slide show. Then the first image appears in the QT Window. The instructions next say that I should be able to change the rate at which each slide/jpeg appears, but it doesn't tell you where to find the "frame rate" so I can change it. It doesn't appear at all on its own, so where is it? Anything else I'm missing? Thank you.

What version of Photoshop Elements and or Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system?

It sounds like you are creating your slideshow in the Elements Organizer. Where are you seeing these distortions and blurs, in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor Filmstrip or in the Premiere Elements workspace after you have transferred the slideshow from the Elements Organizer 9 Slideshow Editor to Premiere Elements workspace?
What are the pixel dimensions of the photos in this slideshow and how many of these photos are in the slideshow? What format are they in..jpg, psd, other?

If you are in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor and use the Output option Edit with Premiere Elements, then you would expect the automatic transfer of the slideshow to Premiere Elements, with a copy in video format (.psess) in the project media as well as on the Timeline. Nothing for you to drag and drop.
For all those reasons, I am asking for clarification.

yes, as soon as you move the mouse when a movie is playing, it will give you the controller under the movie.

Is it possible to create Indicater and control on same holizental slide?

Is there any possible to create Indicate values and change values on same Horizental slide. Because I am giving loop values to Horizental slide to indicate my values, after certain time if user wanted to move slide bar to another possition. it should move that perticular location then run loop from that value.

The loop counter is a built-in variable that you cannot control. It will always increase.
For your purpose, you must create a seperate variable that contains your index as you want to use it.
The attached VI shows a possible solution. Let me know if this makes sense to you.

I need some help in controling the speed of this simple photo

Controling fonts in title slides

some of the title slides, such as lens flare, do not give you the button in the upper left corner to control fonts. Is there no way of controling fonts on some title slides? Why?

Controlling user flow and slide access

I'm a Captivate newby
Here's my problem. I have a set of slide, and I want to be sure the user has completed (listened to) the first 5 slides before going to the 6th.
I've just seen that I can execute javascript. Here's my possible solution.
On slide exit (of slides 1-5) I execute a script that add the number of the slide I've just finished in an array.
If the user try to enter in the 6th slide, I execute a script that checks if the array contains the number from 1 to 5. If not, I jump to the first slide.
Is this a reasonable solution? Can I control all these events in javascript? Or is there a better way to solve the issue?

Using Captivate User Variables and Advanced Actions would be a much easier solution than trying to implement JavaScript.
You just need to set up a variable that will be incremented by each successive slide the user visits. When they get to the sixth slide, have the variable value checked by a Conditional Advanced Action. If the variable is the correct value, Continue play, else jump back to the beginning (or whatever the appropriate action should be).

CONTROLLING TIME OF STILL SLIDES IN IMOVIE

the time-format in any video is (hours:)minutes:seconds:frames ..
so, two seconds is 00:02:00
if you need very short stills, switch off the Ken Burns effect: select the still-clip, click the crop tool, choose crop or it.

Is there a way to make the audio preview whenyou hold Control and slide the time handle the default?

Is there a way to make it so that the audio preview that happens when you hold Control as you slide the Current Time Indicator handle is the default, so that you don't have to hold Control every time you slide it? It's gotten to where I'm holding Control anytime I slide that handle, so it would actually be quite convenient to be able to make the audio preview the default setting instead of requiring the holding down of Control. I searched in options but if it's there I must have missed it.

i wanna do water dropping animations. using a slider, to controlled how fast and slow the animations can be.
please help me!!!

I already know about slider & water dropping animations, but how to make this 2 things interract.
Right now i have slider and water dropping animations, but when i scroll my slider up and down, my animations still with the same speed.
In my opinion, i think, i need to make one func/method that take var from slider and transfer it to water dropping var(controlling the speed of anim...).

The position of the pointer on the Slider is controlled by
setting the Slider's value property:

I don't know what other control you have in mind for changing
the position of the pointer, but most interactive controls support
the change event:

If the control were a NumericStepper, then value would be the

I don't write scripts that do this because the features are already available with Expression Controls and expressions. That's the route I would suggest. You are reinventing the wheel. If you want specific help on scripting then try asking some questions in the scripting sub forum for AE. You'll find the forum under sub communities.
If you just want to create a slider for opacity that you can add to any layer you select first add an expression control slider to the layer, then press t to reveal the opacity property, then hold down the Alt/Option key and click on the stopwatch to start and expression, then drag the pickwhip to the slider control. Now, with transparency selected select Animation>Save Animation Preset and give it a name. Now when you need a slider to control a layer, or to control a bunch of layers simply select them and apply your preset.
You could also put your expression control slider on a null, give the name a null, apply the expression to a layer and then save the transparency property as an animation preset. Now if you have 50 layers you want to control with a single slider just add the null, change the name, then select all 50 layers and apply your animation preset.
I have a library of about 200 custom animation presets that use expressions to do most of my repetitive tasks. It saves a ton of time. Heres one that fades a layer in and then out based on the in and out point of the layer. I use this one daily. You'll see what I mean if you apply it to a layer. fadeIO.ffx
