Controlling Doc No. from Accounting Doc No.

Hi all,
I wish to know whether there's any view/table/function module which I can make use of to retreive corresponding controlling document number created for the accounting document number.
I have tried using AC_DOCUMENT_RECORD but doen't seem to work, maybe I am using it inappropriately so would need help on how to use the same in case this is the function module.

Yes whatever currency you maintain at Company Code Level, that currency is going to be your local currency.

hi,
in fb03, when go to environment -> accounting documents,
there is a dialog box list of document in accounting
may i know what is profit center doc and cost acconting doc?
what is the difference for these 2 doc and FB03 accounting document?
why they are called controlling doc?
when these 2 document created?

Accounting has two broad division. One is Financial accounting and the other Managerial Accounting. Financial accounting primarily concentrates on external reporting like creating balance sheet, P&L <b>(financial statements)</b> for share holders, and external authorities like tax, Company Law or Secutiries Exchange etc. This accounting is at macro level. A kind of bird's eyeview on measuring the health of the organizaiton. The Financial document (FB03) are the building blocks for that purpose. A company code would represent a legal entity, At quarterly or annual we can pull these financial staetements or a company code
The other part viz Managerial accounting is at micro level. Controlling module deals with it and It has more detailed analysis. The organizaiton is divided into cost centers, profit centers, etc.Within the organization, individual projects are identified through cost objects to analyze cost and profitablity at micro level.<b>
Controlling module's activiation enables record cost among various cost centers, reveue by various projects and sales orders and the like. Controlling documents are created, which form the building block for viewing transactions from a detailed detailed perspective.
Profit centers</b> could be created to identify the divisions within a company.
When controlling area is activated, online controlling documents gets created as soon as an FI documnet is created. There are also several stand alone CO documents that are used for internal allocation of costs, like cost transfer among cost centers. When Profit Center Accounting (PCA) is activated, the PCA documents gets generated at the same time of FI/CO documents are getting created, if the option of online transfer is activated.

I am getting the following error while saving sales order.

I dont know why this error is occuring while creating sales order. Because of this issue, i am not able to save the sales order.
How to solve this issue? Can anyone give me solution for this issue?

I hope you people are using COPA or Controlling in your process.
This error is basically comes if you are not maintained the KOFK setting, same where u have done your KOFI setting, you have to do same with KOFK in Transaction VKOA.
see what setting you have done for KOFI, copy that line and change KOFI to KOFK and save it.

Error in SWWERRE "No personnel control record exists for accounting area 99"

Dear Experts,
The standard job for restarting of workflows with temporary errors , SWWERRE, has suddenly started failing.
The message obtained in Job Log is "No personnel control record exists for accounting area 99".
The Payroll Control Record for Payroll Area 99 does not exist as it is a non-payroll relevant area.
There has been no change in HCM configuration or Job characteristics.
What could have triggered these sudden failures.
Please suggest.

This is not an issue with the report RSWWERRE (Job SWWERRE).
It must be trying to pickup work items which are in Error State (temporary) - that item may have this data issue - Run Report RSWWERRE from SE38 and debug, you will come to know.
Check if:
1) The error WI belongs to TRIP (BUS2089)
2) Put a break point in FORM SUB_ABRECHNUNG(SAPLHRTR) and run report RSWWERRE (if the work item is still in TEMPORARY ERROR SATE and has not converted to permanent error) ..... debugging should stop there if the above point is correct
3) This will give you the Trip and Employee number - check if the data is consistent (BAPI_TRIP_CHECK_STATUS)
4) This usually happens when you use &TRIP.AVSEXORADAUTHORITYLEVEL& in the binding (of the error step)
if this is true, correct the data and it should work else delete those work items and restart the job (remember to correct the data to avoid future issues).
If not,
still the fist point holds true, "It must be trying to pickup items which are in Error State - that item may have the issue - Run Report RSWWERRE from SE38 and debug, you will come to know." Some errors are deep rooted and cannot be caught by the job
Also check if note 1452535 is relevant for your release.

HP Photosmart 5514 all-in-one printer. Control copy function from computer?

I have a HP Photosmart 5514 whose touch screen is no longer working properly. It doesn't recognize any selection at the bottom right of the screen. I can touch any other place on the screen and it will respond. Because of this I'm no longer able to copy or scan from the printer. I can print from my computer as this doesn't involve using the touchscreen on the printer. What I'm wondering is if it is possible to use my computer to control copying. Is it possible to use the computer (rather than the touch screeen on the printer) to tell the printer to copy?

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with the touch screen not responding.
One step that you can try is to please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.

As for controlling the printer from the computer, the only thing that you will be able to do is print or use the scanning software to scan to the computer.

Listing up business transactions from Account's View

Hie, When we Open Ship to party from IC Web, We have Assignment block "Quotations" at IC WEB from Accounts view. But it does not pull any quotations.
But it does pull for sold to party. I have checked SPRO settings for Customer Relationship Management->Master Data->Business Partner->Specify Display Options for Business Transactions and I maintained Area = QU.
But i still cant see Qutation list from Account's VIEW.
Can anyone advice me please? where i can make settings for Sold to part , ship to party etc??

Hi,
this is something which you can´t change by configuration.
You have to do a small UI-development.
Open your component / view in tx bsp_wd_cmpwb.
I guess in your case the component is BP_BPBT and the view is AccountQuotationsOV.
You have to go to the context node.
Here please check the coding in ON_NEW_FOCUS and redefine it according to your needs.

AC is corret you can do that. It might work a bit better for you if you use a wired connection vs a wireless one for the ATV's.

Windows or Mac? You can at least send iMessages from a Mac with Mountain Lion installed.
There are apps that let you do the reverse (control the computer from the phone). I don't know of any that let you go the other way. It would be kind of cool if we could do this though. But, I suppose it could open up a Pandora's box of security problems for the phone itself. Just imagine somebody hacking into your phone remotely and using it without your permission....

Error while creating activities from Account application (Activity tab page

We are using CRM 5.0 with PCUI ( EP 7.0 version). We are getting below error when try to create activities from Account application in PCUI ( from activity tab page):
Error : Activity contains error.
Diagnosis
This transaction has errors.
Procedure
To correct the errors, go to the maintenance interface of the transaction.
To navigate to there, use the link to the account application
Pls suggest how to proceed with this error & helpful solutions would be rewrded generously.

We are getting this error when try to create Activity from Account application in PCUI. But the same thing is working fine in at GUI level & actions profile assigned to Activity transaction is also working fine at GUI level. But in PCUIit is throwing this below error.
Diagnosis
You have attempted to create a follow-up transaction for an incorrect transction 2000764. This is not possible. You can only create follow-up transactions for error-free transactions.
System Response
The follow-up transaction is not created.
Procedure
Correct the errors in the source transaction 2000764. The error messages resulting from processing the error can be read in the application log in the source transaction.
Pls suggest solution for this.

Microsoft Windows 8 Mail App - Deleted Account still used as "From" Account

Hi There,
My wife has a Surface RT that has been upgraded to 8.1. She has been happily using the mail app (Imap account), and indeed prefers it to the Surface version of Outlook. The other evening I added my own Imap account to the mail app, but then removed it again
as I prefer the outlook version. Now whenever she sends an email from the mail app, it is using my email address as the From account (can see this by clicking "more info" under the To box) even though the account is not there, which results in no
email being sent as there are no server details etc. on which to send it.
How can i change this so that it is only using my wife's account ?

Regarding curren situation, please try to remove all accounts in Mail app and try to re-configure the IMAP account by refering steps "I can’t add or delete an email account" and "I’m having trouble with an IMAP account" in this article:

You can do it manually, but it is much simpler if you use a tool such as Back To My Mac, LogMeIn, or something like that. Those programs enable you to connect to your computer through your router without you having to adjust the router settings manually.
