  • " No entry in the conversion table for the syntax group" error

    Hi,
Iu2019m getting an error in the port setup when I try to run an Access Test on the logical directory.
    Definition of path
    TFTS02\INTF\RD1\OUTB\MM\RFC WINDOWS NT missing
    Message no. SG024
    Diagnosis
There is no entry in the conversion table for the syntax group WINDOWS NT and the logical path
    TFTS02\INTF\RD1\OUTB\MM\RFC.
    System Response
The system cannot generate a platform-specific path.
    Procedure
Make an entry for the syntax group WINDOWS NT and the logical Pfad
TFTS02\INTF\RD1\OUTB\MM\RFC in the conversion table using the FILE transaction.
    Regards,
    Rajiv

    Hi
the error is simple. The path
TFTS02\INTF\RD1\OUTB\MM\RFC you are trying to access is not there so create the path in the FILE transaction.
In file tcode goto NEW ENTRIES and give the path and also make sure that in AL11 the path and the filename you are trying to open exists.
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to model a conversion table for unit of measures?

    Hi
I am looking for some input on how to model a many-to-many relationship.
    The situation:
    A fact table with columns:
    Product
    Unit of Measure
    Date
    Value
1 product is stored with 1 and only 1 unit of measure - e.g. Product = Oil, unit of measure = m3
The fact contains several products, each having its own unit of measure.
A dimension 'Unit of measures' with columns
    Unit Of Measure
    Unit Of Measure Name
    Measure System
While reporting on the facts it should be possible to chose the unit of measure I want to see my facts in. E.g. I want to be able to show Oil-production in m3 or barrels or liters, etc.
    My challenge:
    How to model this requirement?
Right now I tend to go for a bridge table between the fact and the dimension.
    But I was wondering:
    a) are there other ways to model it
    b) are there pitfalls in using Bridge tables?
    c) Can I re-use the bridge table in combination with other facts as the model grows?
c.2) do I need to create an alias on the bridge table to re-use it?
    Thanks for your help
    regards
    Andy

    Hi Kart,
ok let's say my model looks like this (columns below the tables names, sample in brackets) - again ignoring a date dimension:
    Dim_Product --- 1:n --- Fact ----- n:1 ----- Dim_UOM
    Id (1,2) Prod_id Id (1,2,3)
Name (Oil, Gas) UOM_id Name (m3, Barrel, Litre)
    Value
So the products are coming from the Dim_product, Unit_of measures coming from Dim_UOM.
Fact values would look like this
    Prod_id UOM_id Value
    1 1 10
    1 2 84
    1 3 10000
    etc
If I need to report in a new measure, I would be forced to add a new record to the fact table
    Prod_id UOM_id Value
    1 1 10
    1 2 84
    1 3 10000
    1 4 150
with 4 being the new measure id.
What I am looking for is a way to be more flexible when it comes to converting values to different measures.
    Thanks
    Regards

  • Conversion cords for apple products from US to Ireland

what type of conversion cords do I need for an Iphone (U.S) in Ireland?

None.  You need an outlet adapter, but that's it.

  • Is there a conversion table for DLUs to CUCM 9.x licenses?

During the upgrade process from pre-9.0 releases to CUCM 9.0 and later, ELM is installed and lets you convert your licensing from the DLU model to the UCL/CUWL licensing model.  This worked fine for the upgrades that I have already done, but now I am trying to plan how to allocate unused DLUs to the other license classes for the dozen or so additional clusters that I need to migrate.  ELM does NOT appear to have an offline mode where you can enter a number DLUs and then come up with an acceptable allocation of UCL/CUWL/TP rooms beforehand.
Is there a formula somewhere that I can use to do this planning in advance of the actual upgrades?
    9

I just went through a particularly painful exercise with the Cisco licensing group migrating a CUCM 8.6 system to 9.1.  They required the following:
    1) License request from ELM
    2) Cisco SO# for upgrade order
    3) Output of the LCU utility
    4) ESW/UCSS contract number
In spite of carefully spelling out exactly what I needed was in the ELM license request, they issued a license which covered, all the licenses contained in the LCU report.  Unfortunately, the LCU report covered a dozen or so different clusters, which are isolated from each other and could not share an ELM.  After almost a month of working with the licensing group, I finally got it straightened out.  In the process, I grabbed this information from the ELM 9.1 migration license calculator:
    License Type                  DLUs Required
    CUWL Professional          12
    CUWL Standard               11
    Enhanced Plus                 9
    Enhanced                         6
    Basic                                4
    Essential                          0
    Telepresence Room        11

  • Is there a liquid tag for related products?

There does not seem to be liquid tag for related products. I'm now using {tag_relatedproducts}.
I would like to use {{relatedproducts}} because I would like to use useli="true" to get rid of the default table.
Am I missing something or is there no liquid tag for related products? It would be helpful to have one.
If it's not there, is there a different way to use a list instead of a table for related products?
    Thanks.

The BC team is (rightly) getting away from the tags and parameters that involve HTML code rather than just the raw data.  I would be surprised if this is not one of those on the chopping block.  There would be a need to expose related products in the API though so you can compose a FOR statement and build your own collection but I'm not sure if that is supported or not yet.  Try using module_data with the appropriate resource/subresource and the {{this | JSON}} tag to check.

  • Database Design: table to enter product serial numbers

    Hi,
I'm developing a database for invoice details. The data also includes product serial number. I have an Invoice table, Products table and InvoiceProducts table- to normalise the many to many relationship of Invoice and products. I can't enter the serial numbers in the InvoiceProducts table since this will mention the quantity of a particular product in the invoice. Please can you advise how/where I can enter the serial number details. what is the industry practise for storing invoice informatioin.
    Thanks in advance,
    Anand

    Thank you for the reply!
Yes, that makes sense. I can call it InvoiceLineItem table. To clarify the problem...Invoice contains these relevant fields
    Invoice number
    55
    product number
    DV8654A
    number of units
    5
    serial numbers
    abcd
    acbd
    afgh
    abab
    ankn
I'm not sure about adding serial numbers in products table since I want it to be a generic table for all products recorded from different invoices. I would want serial numbers to be invoice-product specific but again Im not sure how I can add serial numbers to the InvoiceLineItem table since invoiceID and productID cant be represented as composite Primary keys in that case. Also, I plan to have a column for number of units in the InvoiceLineItem table.
Can I introduce a serial number column in the InvoiceLineItem table and separate all the serialnumbers using a separator like comma? Will I compromise on atomicity of the serial number? If I include serial number column in the InvoiceLIneItem table... I can have composite key for InvoiceID, ProductNumber and serialNumber or will it mean redundant invoice and product details for every row of serial number
The application essentially records all the details from a printed copy of Invoice onto the database through manual entry.
Please can you help me getover this...
    Thanks again in advance

  • Conversion table: How does it know whether a topic is a task, concept, or reference?

    FM 11
    DITA 1.2
I'm just starting to work on my conversion table for our non-structured files. I've only gone as far as my first couple of iterative tests to create FM binary files; i.e., I haven't imported my EDD or templates yet. I'm just trying to apply logic to the process.
    Marsha

    Hi Marsha...
The only way for it to know is based on the heading tag names. You'll need to assign different tags for each heading that starts a new "topic type". You'll also need to assign different tags within topics (like "task") to differentiate between the different sections within a topic.
I have a tool that helps with this "retagging" process (as well as many other conversion-related issues). it lets you define a retagging scheme based on previous tags or tags that follow a certain tag. It also lets you assign new tags based on text in the heading. You may want to download the trial of this tool just to get an idea of what it can do. The sample files and documentation may be helpful for your learning process, even if you don't buy it.

Also .. you might want to look at the webinar I gave for Adobe on this subject ..

  • Conversion Table Questions: problems converting tables to structured

I'm in the process of converting unstructed FM8 docs to structured docs using FM10 and DITA structure. Right now I'm trying to build a conversion table to structure the docs, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the tables. The main problem seems to be with the tgroup element since I can't figure out how to get the thead and tbody to wrap in the tgroup element.
Here is an example of one of the tables I'm trying to structure:
This is the Table section of the conversion table I've had the most success with:
    And this is the result:
As you can see, the thead and tbody elements are not wrapped in tgroup and the structure is invalid. I've been playing around with the conversion table for several days now and can't seem to figure out how to fix this. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    D'Arcy

    D'Arcy,
Here are a few observations that might help:
    1) The structure you use within FM (which is what the conversion table helps create) need not be exactly the same as the structure you use in XML.
    2) Do not confuse the element named table with a FrameMaker table.
    3) As Michael has pointed out, the CALS table model used by DITA is a five-level structure:
    table
      tgroup
        tbody
           row
             entry
while the FrameMaker table model has 4 levels:
    table
      tbody
        row
          cell
    4) FrameMaker can map between the 5-level structure and the 4-level structure in one of two ways, controlled by the element definitions (usually specified in an EDD), the read/write rules, and the DTD:
    a) The element named table can be a container while the element named tgroup is the actual table. This model has a closer correspondence between the FrameMaker and the DITA table structure. Michael has pointed out one of its biggest weaknesses. If a FrameMaker table (regardless of its element name) has a title, then FrameMaker repeats the title on each page of a multipage table. However, if the element named table is a container and the actual table is an element named tgroup, the title is a container preceding the table and this automatic repetition does not happen.
    b) If you are sure that your tables will always consist of a single tgroup, you don't have to use the tgroup element within FrameMaker. Make the element named table a FrameMaker table and include the read/write rule:
    element "tgroup" unwrap;
FrameMaker will recreate the tgroup element whenever you save a document as XML. This model allows you to make the table title a FrameMaker table. However, you cannot use the element named title as both a FrameMaker table title and a container. Typically, therefore, people use the element named title as a container that is the title of things like chapters and sections and use an element named something like tabletitle for the title of tables.
    Read/write rules like:
    element "title" is fm element:
element "title" is fm table title element "tabletitle"'
let you save your documents as XML with both title and tabletitle represented as <title> in XML. You'll need to use a custom client or XSLT to map the XML element named title to either title or tabletitle depending on whether the XML element occurs within a table or not.
    5) Your conversion table had one row with T: in column 1 and another with T:Format A in column 1; one mapped to table and the other to tgroup. The row with T:Format A would apply to all tables with the specified format, the other row would apply to all tables with other formats. These conversion table rows do not define a relationship between table and tgroup. Map T: to table if you want the model in 4b) above and to tgroup if you want the model in 4a). In the latter case, use an additional row with:
    title?, tgroup
in column 1 and  table in column 2.

  • Source System conversion for several production SAP

    Hello all,
What kind of customizing in table RSLOGSYSMAP i have to do ?
    We have 1 DEV and 9 production system P01, P02,  .... P09.
In the table i must insert 9 lines, one for each production system ?
    DEV -> P01
    DEV -> P02
    DEV -> P09
Or i insert only one line
    DEV -> P0X
and i change the table before each of the nine transport ???
I have to transport the same order 9 times ?
    Thanks for your precious help.
    Christophe

    Cristophe,
I think this must be done on the target system where you will mention the source and target fields .
You do not have to manually enter the values into the table - you can find this under source system conversion defined in the transport connection .
I think the source system just gives it current logical systems and then the target system will do the conversion and hence it will not be 9 entries in your DEV environment but 1 entry each in your productive environment.
Also you cannot have two entries for the same logical source system in this table.

  • Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category - Table handling

    Dear Experts,
in SRM 7.0, CS, i am facing the following requirement regarding tax codes:
We have users from different countries using SRM. These different countries have different tax codes that are to be used for legal reasons.
My question is, how i can achieve a system behaviour, by which in the shopping cart, the correct tax codes gets selected automatically, based on the country of the user, who is creating the shopping cart.
    Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
    Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
    Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
    Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Thank you very much for your help in understanding the topic.

    Hi
Here are my responses to your questions:
    Question 1:
Is it correct to assume, that this requirement can be achieved by maintaining the "Determine of Tax Code for Country/Product Category" - Table?
Answer -  If you have a requirement where different countries have different tax codes, then you do need this confiugration. Otherwise Configuraiton in Enter Tax Code  are sufficient.
    Q2:
What is the purpose of the 1st column of the above mentioned table, "Domestic/International Indicator"? Can it be left blank?
Answer - Sometimes you have different codes for International and Domestic purchases for a product Category. IN those situations you can select Domestic/International field to differentiate btw tax codes. Otherwise this field can be left blank
    Q3:
Is it possible to fill in the values for the field "Country" BUT to leave the field "Category ID" empty???The reason for asking it, that otherwise several hundreds entries would have to be maintaind manaully...
Answer - No, if you enter country, then Category Id field is mandatory. You may enter * in case you dont have multiple backend systems. otherwise you will ve to ve individual entries for each category and backend system.
    Q4:
From where in the shopping cart or ppoma settings is the system fetching the Country code, in order to be able to use it in the table? Is there any specific attribute maintenance that has to be taken care of, so the above mentioned table can be used (e.g. delivery address, including the country information)?
Answer - It is picked up from the address of the user where is will receive goods. and Domestic/International will be decided based on Vendor address with reference to thta address.
I hope my responses clarify your doubts.

  • How to fill conversion table TAUUM in BW for conversion of Sales Order Type

When importing sales order data from SAP ECC to SAP BI, conversion routine AUART can be used to convert Sales order Type from its internal representation to an external representation.  (For example, the standard sales order has an internal Sales Document Type code TA, and an external code OR).
The standards SAP conversion routine AUART uses table TAUUM as a lookup table.  This table has lots of data in SAP ECC, but it is empty in SAP BW.
How can we copy data from table TAUUM in ECC to  table TAUUM in BW?
Do we have to create a maintenance view on the table, and type in the entries? Or is there a more automated way?

    Hi Jay,
Make sure the extract structure is active. You can check the same from LBWE > 11: SD Sales BW> MC11VA0STI is active.
If the extract structure is active. Inorder to fill the setup table. First delete the setup table for the application area 11 from SBIW transaction. Then fill the set-up table for the application area 11 as you did for deliveries.
Then check whether data source is pulling data.
Let me know if there is an issue even after following the above steps.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Namrata
