Convert SDO_GEOMETRY to JGeometry -- Problem

Hi,
I try to convert a SDO_GEOMETRY to JGeometry object in my Oracle CEP Applications but i have errors.
I try to do this :
               DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
               Connection aConnection = DriverManager.getConnection(databaseUrl, databaseUser, databasePassword);
               java.sql.Statement instruc = aConnection.createStatement();
               ResultSet RS=null;
               RS = instruc.executeQuery("select * from TAB_REALTIME_POS_VEHICLES");
     while(RS.next())
          String id = RS.getObject(1).toString();
          STRUCT st = (STRUCT) RS.getObject(2);
          JGeometry geom = JGeometry.load(st); ----> the error comes from this line
And here the errors :

Any Idea ?
Thanks.

Hello again,
Any comments from Oracle? Version 8.1.7 used to have an example on doing this. In particular we lack inspiration for obtaining (getting hold of or writing) an AdapterShapefileJGeom with method exportGeometry
Are we overlooking something? Will there be an example forthcoming in Oracle 10g?

Jens Ole Jensen

    Good day,
    I have installed Acrobat DC, and would like to combine 2 files. One is excel allready converted to PDF - No problem. The other one is from Pastel mailed as PDF.
    When trying to merge the files, this file ask for a Password. No password was issued from the setup or mail?

    Good day abrieb93050306,
    I can understand your concern, however can you please let me know that are you able to open both the PDF files ( the one you converted form excel to pdf & the other pdf that was mailed to you ) individually without using any password?
    As it asks for the password, it means that the postal mailed PDF is password protected. You can ask for the password from the sender of the postal mail & then try to combine the files.
    Please follow the steps in the provided KB doc.to combine the files : Combine files into single PDF | Adobe Acrobat DC tutorials
    This will probably resolve your issue.
    Let me know if you still experience any issue.

  • EZ Vinyl converter to I Tunes problem

    Hello, I am converting my old LPs to MP3 using an ION turntable and EZ Vinyl converter software. The turntable combined with the software records the music fine, when I click to finish, the software automatically transfers to Itunes....so far so good. But when the Itunes program is opened a box comes up indicating that EZ Vinyl Converter is "UNABLE TO EXPORT TO I TUNES.PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE ANY ACTIVE WINDOWS IN I TUNES"
    What happens next is that certain tracks are exported to I tunes, but some are missing and most of the ones that are exported are duplicated. Any ideas anyone ?
    Many thanks.

    Thanks for your input ed2345. As I explained Audacity is complicated but you can record simply without having to wade through reams of instructions, the only thing is that LPs are recorded as one file or song, so when you transfer to ITunes it is treated as one song, so you cannot search for each individual track as you can if you load a CD to ITunes.
    There is a ficility on Audacity to have a break between each song so you can then search each track individually, but then that means you have to learn the editing side of Audacity and here lies the problem for me. I have spent the last 4 nights in bed for at least 30 minutes each night reading the Audacity instructions and I am only 10% through them and to be honest I am no farther ahead.
    On the EZ vinyl converter software that is so simple, there is a facility when recording the make a marker at the end of each track so then a new file or track is started.....the only thing is EZ Vinyl converter software has a problem at the moment !
    Anyway, here I am with 100s of LPs and not able to listen to them yet.
    Many thanks.

  • Convert to jpeg ouput problem

    When I convert eps to jpeg the output document has a checkerboard in all blank areas. I am new, it's probabaly easy, but help anyways. Thanks!

    Thanks! It was a transparency issue. Just need to select properly when "saving as".

    It helps to be more descriptive when you post and tell us exactly what you are doing.
    That being said, I guess that you are going to file>save for web & devices. The checkerboard that you are seeing simply means that those areas are transparent.

  • PDF convertion - hebrew font upload problem

    Hello,
    I am trying to define hebrew support to pdf convertion according to note 569404 - but whenever i try to run the RSTXPDF2 report - instead of getting the browse window to choose from where i upload the fonts - the report directly goes to the end and has the error message - could not open file - i was'nt given the opportunity to choose one - on the DEvelopment and QA system i didn't have problems like that.
    I found that whenever in the first time you enter the above report - rstxpdf2 and run it - it opens a custom sap browse window to browse the local station and to choose the appropriate file - but if press on the cancel button - the window goes to the end of the report with the message file could not be opened - and from now on this is the result when i try to run the report - i don't get again the custom sap browse window to browse the local station and to choose the appropriate file

    Runtime error : COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW
    Exception : CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW
    Thanks ,
    Srinivas Bhavanam

    Hi Oisin,
    Sorry for the Late Reply. I am using IGS 6.40 with solaris system.
    If i am converting the image from my desktop i am getting 96DPI resolution. Where as if i am doing it from IGS i am getting 30682172 DPI resolution.
    I am using SAP 4.7. Is it the latest patch level or latest IGS supported.
    Short Dump :
    Runtime Error          COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW
    Exception              CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW
           Occurred on     03.03.2010 at   11:04:30
    Whole number overflow on multiplication.
    What happened?
    Error in ABAP application program.
    The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXBITMAPS" had to be terminated because one of
    the
    statements could not be executed.
    This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
    What can you do?
    Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
    and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
    To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
    You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
    termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
    Error analysis
    An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
    . The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW',
    was neither
    caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
    "FILL_BMFILE_FROM_BMP" "(FORM)"
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
    to occur, the running program was terminated.
    The reason for the exception is:
    In the current program "SAPLSTXBITMAPS", multiplying the numbers 1207959552 and
    100 (using the operation * or 'MULTIPLY') resulted in a value
    greater than 2147483647 or smaller than -2147483648. This
    results in a whole number overflow.
    How to correct the error
    The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
    "FILL_BMFILE_FROM_BMP"
    "(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
    To prevent the exception, note the following:
    You may be able to split the process into separate components, so that
    the values generated are smaller.
    If the error occurred in one of your own programs or in an SAP program
    that you modified, try to correct it yourself.
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the
    following documents to SAP:
    1. A hard copy print describing the problem.
       To obtain this, select the "Print" function on the current screen.
    2. A suitable hardcopy prinout of the system log.
       To obtain this, call the system log with Transaction SM21
       and select the "Print" function to print out the relevant
       part.
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
       supply the source code.
       To do this, you can either use the "PRINT" command in the editor or
       print the programs using the report RSINCL00.
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
       or which actions and input led to the error.

  • .avi file converted to MPEG4 but problem

    Yes I was able to add a .mov ext to it but the video is not showing up. It was created on a PC using Tony Hawk helmet cam. I would like to use these clips to make low quality video of my bike rides etc.
    As I said, I get audio but the Quicktime video pane is blank (white screen). Are there any tricks to converting it to any Quicktime format that would make the video appear? I can tell it has large amounts of data as it should (28mb) for a 4 minute video. When I initially uploaded it from the network, I proceeded to open it and Quicktime pro notified me that I needed a plugin and directed me to the plugins and update page you find in the Quicktime preferences pane when you click the update tab. Any help would be great!
    Thanks in advance,
    Martin J. Estrada

    I finally rec'd QuickTime for the web and it's accompanying CD. I installed it in OS 9, restarted, and had the option of converting the .avi to multiple different formats including .mp4 and .mov. After registering it and activating it I converted the file to .mov then transferred it to my eMac and imported it to iMovie where I was able to adjust the sound track to be in sync with the video track.
    Thank you so much for all your interest QTK and especially Dick. You guys pointed me in the right direction and really trouble shot this problem. It was not a cheap fix and I sorta wish this stuff just worked but I will read the book and derive as much as I can from it to utilise in QT and iMovie.
    I forgot to mention that QT Pro 6 was a casualty of a crashed HD two summers ago. I had no record of the key. Apple recognized that I legitimately had a right to it but was unable to provide it because it had been phased out by the time I went to reinstall it. They provided at no charge a key for QT Pro 7 instead.
    Thanks again,

  • Convert anchor point tool problem

    I'm new to illustrator.. when I want to move tangents independently it only works with the first one I grab, the other one disappears, and reappears while I hold the first one.. bug?

    1) Both handles reappear and I can move them as I should be able to with the convert tool
    2) that also works fine with the direct select tool,I don't even have to convert so that kinda solves my problem
    3) when point is converted I can drag handles with the direct select tool

  • New adobe DNG converter and CS4 quality problems - EOS 7D

    Hi,
    A friend of mine uses Adobe Photoshop CS2.
    He plans to buy Canon EOS 7D or EOS 5D Mark II in the future but first we did some tests and conversions.
    We found many problems and quality issues.
    First Problem is that CS2 doesn't support Canon EOS 7D directly so user has to use DNG Converter to convert the EOS 7D file from .cr2 to a .dng.
    When i use and test this, CS2 recognizes and opens .dng file correctly then i optimize sharpness, color etc etc in the photoshop and save the file from the file menu (Save AS) as .jpg file.
    Adobe Photoshop CS2 fails to save exif data.
    It just saves the camera model nothing else.
    On the other hand if i use CS4 it saves all exif data (without dng):
    The next problem is quality.
    If i use indentical settings in RAW converted between CS2 (dng) and CS4 (cr2) CS2 images look sharper and have more "per pixel sharpness" than CS4 raw images.
    Here's a sample (raw file taken from dpreview.com) that i tested it using both raw converters:
    So these are two problems that i don't like nor does my friend and i am asking you if you would fix that and why such hudge difference ?
    As the CS4 is being the newest the best of all photoshop it should had better picture but in this case the older version has better picture and i don't see any logic in that.
    So if user wants to go for better quality he/she will pick CS2 but have a disadvantage - Exif is not saved in the .jpg file.
    I also think that if dpreview would have used CS2 instead of CS4 they would get much higher "per pixel sharpness" from Canon EOS 7D as they did now.
    Thanks.

    You can't use the exact same settings since the settings in ACR 3.x (Photoshop CS2) don't match up to ACR 5.x (Photoshop CS4).
    Seriously, there was a major change in ACR 4 and then 5 that make comparing ACR 3.x and 5.x pretty pointless...
    Fact is if you aren't getting optimal results from Camera Raw 5.x then you don't know how to use it...simple as that.
    ACR 3.x had a very crude image sharpening process compared to either ACR 4.1 and above of any 5.x version.
    Seriously, Photoshop CS2 and Camera Raw 3.x is way old tech...if you can't get better IQ from 5.x you are doing something wrong.

  • Convert colors Acrobat X problem

    In previous versions of Acrobat the Convert Colors dialog could make cmyk to cmyk color conversions from the source profile set in the preferences to the chose destination profile.
    This is broken in Acrobat X, but worked great in Acrobat 9.  When converting to an Output intent the embedded output intent profile changes, but no actual conversion of the color numbers occurs, so the Output Intent profile is now mismatched.
    Why does this no longer work?

    "we already fixed it"   ... ???
    We who?  Are you an Acrobat programmer?  If so, then you have my admiration because it is a really awesome program.
    In Acrobat 9 "convert colors to output intent" performs exactly as the help file describes, and now in X it is completely non-functional for already cmyk pdf documents other than soft-proofing cmyk numbers by only embedding an Output Intent profile that may or may not match the actual color space of the document if it started out in cmyk.
    How do you explain the disparity of the Adobe help instructions and what you are saying is the proper functionality here?
    I can understand if you wanted the ability in Acrobat to embed an output intent profile without making a conversion of the color numbers.  In fact this is a very useful function of the Output Intent panel of Enfocus Pitstop. The problem that this presents in my opinion is the removal of the functionality present in Acrobat 9 and described in Adobe help to accomplish that goal if that is what you are saying.
    How am I to make such effective and quick cmyk to cmyk conversions of entire pdf documents without making all of the black text 4-color process if I do not use the functionality in Acrobat 9 or the functionality described in Adobe help?  If what you say is true and you inadvertently created an extremely useful functionality by accident in Acrobat 9 that is no longer available in Acrobat X on purpose then that is very unfortunate for my workflow.
    I think that you are confused since the help describes Acrobat 9 functionality perfectly.
    How do you explain away the preservation of black that occurs in 9 and as described in the help?
    Why would you even need to preserve the black if no change in cmyk color numbers is made?
    If you convert an RGB document to an output intent in X it converts the color to the cmyk numbers determined by the output intent profile that you chose in the dialog.  With the functionality in 9 I could in one simple step convert every cmyk object in the pdf except for black text into any particular press's profile space creating cmyk numbers that would print perfectly with the intended color just the same as if the original document had been all RGB.
    So now in X if I want to convert all of the cmyk raster and vector objects in a pdf document to a specific cmyk profile in one easy step without converting all of the black text to 4-color process, I am basically screwed.
    How do I put in a vote to revert to the so-called broken functionality or have it added as an extra functionality in addition to the simple embedding option that you now state this was intended to be for profiles in the same color space.

  • Convert to video timeline problem

    I've been having this problem with the trial version of Adobe Photoshop Cs6.
    Whenever I try to access 'convert to video' timeline, it's missing, and I therefore can't work with keyframes in Photoshop Cs6.
    I have tried installing and uninstalling several times, and have downloaded the set-up package directly from Adobe's website, in order to reinstall again.
    Adobe has given me an error about compatibility with the graphics card with my PC, but I'm not sure how to address or fix the error.
    And for the record, here are the specs of my PC, in case anyone asks.
    I thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
    EDIT:
    Also, here's more screenshots of my problem:

    Please go to Photoshop > Help > System Info. Copy and paste that here for us to see your complete system information.
    Other than that, Adobe's message says that you uncheck the 'Use Graphics Processor' checkbox as the video card you're using is not officially supported by Photoshop yet.
    To do that, follow these steps:
    On your Windows PC, you can find 'Performance' option under 'Edit' from top menubar.
    Uncheck the tick next to 'Use Graphics Processor' (2) in the image above.
    See if this fixes your issue.

    new String(byteArray, "ASCII");the Problem is that java doesn't print the whole string that is passed through the array because there are zeros in the byte array...
    is there any solution for this?
    as i mentioned i'm using ubuntu linux with sun java 6 1.6.0.06
    greets
    xtremliep

    it's just a bytearray which comes from a gateway to an ibm mainframe...
    on the mainframe runs a cobol programm which uses ebcdic code...
    the gateway converts it to ascii and java on win platforms shows a cube sign on the output...
    now i want to get it work on linux too...
    maybe i had to iterate trough the byte array and transform the zero into 32 which stands for space...
    but i think that is not a nice way....

  • Please Help! Converted word to pdf problems

    When I convert a 2 page word document into a pdf, the pdf turns into 4 pages. The whole document expands. Please help me fix this problem.
    Thank you so much!!!!

    Hello Deanna Tat
    Simply use 'Cute PDF writer 2.6' Freeware that comes along with Ghostscript Convertor. Download it from website.
    I am using it for past 5 years without any errors or problems, no matter how many text files are printed for conversions into PDF.
    I have used in all computers with no problems.
    It is easy, no adjustments required, and is hence user friendly.
    It is absolutely free stuff.

  • Odf-converter, mono and unzip problems

    Hi, I'm having problems getting the odf-converter from the AUR to work. Seems it's some kind of problem with the unzip. I have the listed dependencies installed (libzip, glib2). Am I missing some settings, do need to setup my Mono install somehow (all I did was pacman -S mono)? Or is it a bug in the source packages?
    Here's the output I'm getting:
    ogi@ogi-laptop:~$ odf-converter some_doc.xlsx /LEVEL 1
    [INFO][some_doc.xlsx] Converting file: some_doc.xlsx into some_doc.ods
    [ERROR][some_doc.xlsx] Conversion failed - Error during conversion
    [DEBUG][some_doc.xlsx] unzOpen( at (wrapper managed-to-native) CleverAge.OdfConverter.OdfZipUtils.ZipLib:unzOpen (string)
    at CleverAge.OdfConverter.OdfZipUtils.ZlibZipReader..ctor (System.String path) [0x00000]
    at CleverAge.OdfConverter.OdfZipUtils.ZipFactory.OpenArchive (System.String path) [0x00000]
    at CleverAge.OdfConverter.OdfConverterLib.ZipResolver..ctor (System.String filename) [0x00000]
    at CleverAge.OdfConverter.Spreadsheet.Converter.CheckOoxFile (System.String fileName) [0x00000] )
    Done.

    Resurrecting this old thread on purpose.
    Did anybody ever solve this? I'm the owner of the odf-converter AUR package, and I just tried to actually use it for the first time. It's now on 3.0, and was no newer than 2.0 when the above posts were written. I'm surprised that it still fails the same way.
    I wonder if this is a 64-bit problem. The zip code in the source package is shipped as a 32-bit Windows binary. Can somebody verify?
    Can somebody at least explain what the error says? I'm unfamiliar with Mono and have only the most basic C# skills.

  • Convert String to CLOB problem, CLOB is a input parameter in the procedure.

    I can not flush and close "Writer"??
    The following code:
    CLOB inclob=null;
    CallableStatement csr=conn.prepareCall ("begin TestClob(?); end;");
    csr.registerOutParameter (1, Types.CLOB);
    inclob = CLOB.createTemporary(conn,false,CLOB.DURATION_CALL);
    inclob .open(CLOB.MODE_READWRITE);
    Writer tempClobWriter = inclob.getCharacterOutputStream();
    tempClobWriter.write("This is In CLOB");
    // Flush and close the stream
    tempClobWriter.flush(); // problem is here
    tempClobWriter.close();//problem is here
    inclob.close();// this works
    Btw:
    How to use CLOB.setString() to specify string to CLOB directly?

    sorry, I fogot mention the error is "No data to read from socket"
    My Oracle JDBC driver is 9.2.0.4, Oracle database is 10.2.1.0
    Some guy said it is driver's problem.
