COPA Datasource creation and Masterdata loading for characteristics

I am creating a Costing based COPA datasource for client requirement.
There are fileds from

Base on the above characteristic fields how can i consider the infoobjects from BW to laod masterdata.
Do i need to consider the base tables for characteristics and for value fileds apart from CE1XXX,CE2XX,CE3XXX,CE4XXX tables.
Please give me your ideas on this.

Data is coming perfectly in RSA3 for COPA datasource.
There is a confusion while reconciling the data with ECC system.(transaction KE24).
Functional consultant has reconcile one transaction with a reference document number and with certain currency type(Company code currency/Operating concern currency).
But still i confuse with the Masterdata Loading.
Because masterdata attribute fileds are taking directly from the operating concern in COPA which is normally won't happen with the other scenario.
(Say for CUSTOMER attribute are CUSTOMER GROUP and COUNTRY, In COPA scenario these are directly available in operating concern which will be available for datasource.But for other scenarios for CUSTOMER GROUP and COUNTRY fill with the CUSTOMER attributes hence my idea is whether we need to load masterdata in BI or not.)
Please give your valuable o/p.

Creation and Modification dates for android file system

Hello all, I am working on a project and i noticed a particular scenario where i'm getting an error everytime i try to run the code below on my android device;

Every time i run this on Adobe AIR's Mobile emulator, the correct dates are show up properly(Possibly because the emulator is running on Windows) but when i switch the debug to the device, the statement in the catch block executes. The real error says "Error #3003: File or directory does not exist."
Am i missing something or is this a normal behaviour which i have to find a work around for? The modificationDate and the creationDate are all properties of the FileReference class which i didnt use to instanciate the file object because i wasnt uploading or downloading anything.
Any form of tip will be much appreciated.

I run into the same problem while working on some sort of file synching task.
Trying to read the file.modificationDate or creationDate results in an error: "Error #3003: File or directory does not exist."
I have obeserved that this only happens for files that were packaged with the app (and placed in the File.applicationDirectory).
Files that my app has downloaded and saved to the device (File.applicationStorageDirectory) do have a valid creation date and modification date.
Maybe the File.applicationDirectory has different rights?
Does anybody have a solution or workaround for this?

Direct and Flexible loading for Attributes for a Info-object?

Dear all,
Is it possible to have both Direct and Flexible update for Attributes of an Info-object from two different data sources from the same source system(R/3) . The reason being that the first data source can not be extended in R/3.
When this scenario is tried For Flexible loading The data loading is not successful in BW.No errors/dumps found.

In this case I start and activate the whole data flow again to hopefully get an error message. If this still has no success I'd open an OSS message. Even if you have made a mistake you should get an error message somewhere.
Some other places you might check:
SM50 to see if the job is still running
DB02 to see DB locks and tablespace problems

Memory and CPU load for one Oracle instance

I need to design a database server with 5 oracle instances.
Each instance have only 2 or 3 connected application users and the rate of transactions is about 10 transactions/hour.
How can I estimate to total memory and CPU needed for my server ?
The minimum esimation : 2x2Ghz and 2Go of RAM per instance is it pertinent ?

DominikThough the picked specs look okay but the better answer, as being mentioned already, would be "it depends" . At this moment, almost all the machines are coming with very good specs so 2gb probably would be the least . You can even have a 4gb RAM system with x86_64 architecture , leaving room for future growth if needed. About setting the memory for the SGA, if the release is 11g, setting the Memory_Target would take care of the the memory allocation for both SGA and PGA and you can start by the default that Oracle picks which I guess is about 40% of the total RAM. Afterwards, you can monitor the performance and can bring down the memory settings if you feel its overly allocated.
That said, I think that this is a question better answered by the capacity planning and management people. I shall see if I can ask my friend, who is in this domain to comment on it.

Enterprise structure has already been decided. Everything we have copied from India for Sri Lanka and working fine except below error.
As I have already mentioned that I have copied tax pricing procedure for Sri Lanka from Taxinn then assigned to country code LK (Sri Lanka). I have created new tax code for LK (Sri Lanka) in FTXP then I have assigned the tax code with company code in SPRO Logestic General--- Basic settings.
After completeing this config, system is showing error" tax code is not defined to company code" in MIRO.
Please suggest...

InfoSource Activation failing: COPA Datasource Object Version not found

Hi Experts,
I am using BW3.5 & R3 (ECC 5.0) and did::
In BW
1) Installed Business Content
          Cube:         0COPA_C01
          InfoSrc:      0CO_PA_1
In R3
1) I created a new COPA datasource (1_CO_PA500IDEA10)
   and verified data in RSA3.
In BW
2) Replicated the DataSource
3) Created a new Infosource (BB_CO_PA500IDEA10).
4) Editing the new IS, I copied all characteristics
   from the template of the InfoSource 0CO_PA_1.
         a) Assigned my COPA DS (1_CO_PA500IDEA10).
         b) In "Transfer Rules" tab I was able to map
            ALL the IS fields to DS fields.
         c) In "Datasource/Transfer structure" tab
            some fields are left blank (I didn't assign
            any IS characteristics or KeyFigs)
Saved the IS.
BUT Activating the IS is failing with the error:
Object 1_CO_PA500IDEA10 object version not found in table
Message no. RSAR768
A couple of times, I deleted the IS in BW, DS in R3, created them again, replicated, .......with no luck
Any help is appreciated?

I took a look at the RSBASIDOC table entries in BW and ECC systems for the SourceSystems:
   1) ID3CLNT506 - that is working
   2) T20CLNT400 - that is NOT working
I copied some of the fields as a table below. Please take a look. I inserted ** as a field separator to keep the "text fields seperate".
Three relevant fields: BIDOCTYP, SBWBCRL (blank in BW) & RBWBCRL (blank in BW) are not the same between BW & ECC systems - For the problematic T20CLNT400.
Is SBWBCRL - The BW Service API version in ECC ?
Is RBWBCRL - The BW version in BW system ?
I will take a look at the Inbound/Outbound paramaters in WE20 on both BW & ECC.
It seems I am doing all this to convince our BASIS guys that THEY need to FIX the problem.

Check last masterdata load

How do we check the last master data load for an object that has direct update?
I went to the infosource and clicked on the existing infopackages and went to the monitor which prompts ' no data selected'.
How do I check when the last masterdata load for this object happened/?

The following tests are available check the master data and transaction data too.
The system compares the content of each individual table with the content of the corresponding index on a record-by-record basis. This check is only suitable for tables or indexes that do not contain a large amount of data, such as dimension tables, certain SID tables (S) and attribute tables (X and Y). This is not generally the case with fact tables. If a table contains 10,000 records or more, it is not checked.
In some situations, the content of the indexes of the BIA index may differ from the content of the corresponding database table. This may be the case if requests have been deleted from the InfoCube or if an InfoCube has been compressed.
As a prerequisite, the statistics have to be switched on for the relevant InfoProvider. You make this setting in statistics properties maintenance screen (on the Data Warehousing Workbenchscreen, choose Tools ® Settings for BI Statistics).

HT4623 i tried to update my ipod which is the 4 generation and tried to get 6.0 os and it loded for a hour and my ipod has symbol to connect it to itunes but doesnt work!

When i turn it on, it just turns blue and wont load

when i turn on my macbook pro, it goes to the white screen with the apple(normal) and then loads for a bit and goes to a blue screen, which is also normal untill the point where it stays at the blue screen and never loads to the point where i log into my account. i have tried to reset the SMC already but it is still not working.

Delta mechanism for LO Cockpit and COPA datasources

What is the trigger for creating a delta for LO cockpit datasources. Is it a result of calling the LIS exit or the actual creation/change to the transaction?
I have this same question for the COPA datasource.

The trigger that you are talking about must be running of a infopackage in BW that extracts data from R/3. When transactions are posted in R/3 (both LIS and COPA), they start accumulating in the delta queue of that datsource in R/3.
A infopackage is scheduled to execute at regular intervals that pull the data from this delta queue into BW.

Their is no standard tcode is available for tales based on the Datasource but we can get the tables based on the DS in help.sap.com like...below table origin in the link...
