This message pops up every time in the past two days when I am tryig to go to the iTunes store.
Could not connect to the iTUNES store
The network connection was reset.
Make sure your network connection is active and try again.
I tried the keychain stuff....I am not too savvy with My Mac yet so I am sure it is me, But f anyone could help me out wit this problem or let me know if any one else is having problems I would greatly appreciate it...Thanks Heather

I have just phoned Tiscali and given them a piece of my mind. They initially lied to me and said it was not their problem. However after I mentioned all the messages posted on Apple and Tiscali website about this problem of not being able to connect to the itunes store - they backed down and admitted they were having technical issues. They said their engineers were working on the problem - however they failed to confirm when it would be fixed. I threatened to change ISP provider and Suraj agreed that was the best alternative for me. I said "You said it" and hung up. I am so cross with Tiscali as I have turned my computer upside down over the last 6 weeks trying to solve the problem only to find out it was Tiscali preventing users from logging into Itunes.

I'm getting this error which I'm sure that many people are familiar with. "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Network Connection was refused" It was working perfectly fine on 9.1 even with my Norton security on. I upgraded to 9.2 and all of a sudden getting this message. I tried:
- Completely removing and reinstalling iTunes.
- Tried the Terminal solution
- Removed Norton suite
- Checked proxy settings
- Added application to firewall settings to allow incoming connections.
- Ran disk Utility to repair permissions
Still no luck. Any other suggestions that I could try to resolve this pain in a** issue?Also tried connecting via Ethernet. Still no luck.

ThanksI uninstalled iTunes and then installed version 7.0 thinking the older version that used to work on my PC would work again but no, still not working...IT HATE VISTA!!! I knew I should have bought a MAC!!!!

When I synch my phone or other devices to itunes, I get a message that the following songs could not be synched to itunes because the file could not be converted. However, these are songs that I bought directly from Itunes. Any suggestions?

I understand that you are not able to sync a few songs you purchased from iTunes to your iPhone and other devices. There may be an issue with the file, but if you have the Apple ID and password used to purchase the songs, you can redownload them. You can even download the song directly to your iPhone. Hi Dan,
If the song does not appear in your Purchased folder, then you can go back to the Store, select the song again, go select "Buy", and press Enter. iTunes knows you already purchased it, so it won't charge you again. It will, in fact, tell you that you have already purchased this item, and will ask you if you want to download it again for free....
Just in case it is not to be found in the Purchased folder!

when attempting to connect to the itunes store, the status message says "accessing itunes store..." but never connects. how do i resolve this?
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I am not able to use my iMessage after updating to iOS 7.0.2. Although I have tried to sign in as many times as possible, a sign writing "could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". My network bar is 4-5/5 but I still could not sign in.

What have you tried to fix it ? If you haven't already done so then see if any of the following fix it :
- log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in
- close the iTunes store app via the multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iTunes store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -
