Could not purchase error when updating apps
When I try to update apps on my iphone, I get the error "Could Not Purchase "Insert App Name Here". An Unknown error occurred (5002)."
Mac Pro, OS X 10.7.5. iTunes 11.0.4. I have never had this error before. Until I updated of course :>(. Before the update button read "Update Free Apps" or something like that. Some of the paid apps update fine, but not the free ones, and all the updates R free regardless...

*Restore is a last option you can try. There are more options below you can try before a restore
*Erase all content and settings is also a last option to try
-Reset Network Settings, This will erase all WiFi Passwords, VPN info if you set that up and may also remove your Apple ID off the iPhone to be added later. Does not affect actual data content.
-Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings - Confirm - Once iPhone is backup and running proceed to update an App
You may also wish to sync a free app from iTunes to the iPhone. This will carry over your latest iTunes account information and then update App that needs update again. If you feel you need to deauthorize the iTunes account and reauthorize the account more information about this below.

Edited by: DharV on Oct 30, 2011 10:42 PMHi,
I have a template created using UI Shell and have 2 fragments being used as a dynamic region. So far so good. All is well and when i run the application i can see the regions.
Don't know what this has to do with the problem and its solution. Its confusing.
Now i created a custom template (.jspx) file and tried to use the same fragments in this template.
Assume you meant that you used the same task flow reference - correct ?
If you set definition="public" , does it make a difference ?

Message "could not sign in" when in App Store
Why is it that I get the message "could not sign in" whenever I try to download? When I put in the wrong password, it knew it was the wrong password. When I put in the correct password, I get the above message. Thoughts?
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again. -

Item does not exist error when updating item
Hi,
I have a list called "Deal" and I have a ItemUpdated event to update the item permission based on a list field "Owner".
I find the code run well with site collection administrator account. If I use a regular user account to edit the item, it throws "Item does not exist" error after clicking save button. But the item is actually updated.
I run the code under debug mode and it does not throw any exception. But the page shows "Item doex not exist" error.
If I retract the solution, the item can be updated normally without any error.
My code and the error message:

ITunes 10.2.2 does not stay minimized when updating Apps in iTunes Store
Running iTunes 10.2.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.7, when I'm on the iTunes store, and request it to update all my iPhone Apps and then I minimize iTunes, it pops up again at every new download interfering with whatever task I'm doing.
Why won't iTunes stay minimized and run tasks in the background and constantly pop-up for attention?
THanks,
DanielI am having the same problem. I can't actualy minimize itunes at all. It stays open in full screen unless i go to the task manager. And then when I do anything in iTunes, even if I am in another app, it pops back into full screen.
The last four or five versions of iTunes have absolutely sucked ***.

Download error when updating apps
I keep getting a basic message saying "Download error. Please retry to try again or contact customer support." I've reinstalled creative cloud, but keep getting the same error. Please help!
Hi ahnawake,
Please refer to threads below where this issue has been addressed:
MAC: Creative Cloud "Download Error" message
Creative Cloud - Download error - stubborn error
WIN: Follow the steps below:
1. Close Creative Cloud Application (up right corner, click on the cog menu and then "Quit Creative Cloud").
2. Please navigate to C:Program files(X86)/Common files/Adobe folder.
3. Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE.old
4. Rename AAMupdaterInventory to AAMupdaterInventory.old
5. Type appdata in the start menu search
- What I had to do was go to C: > "MyUserName" > Appdata > local > adobe
6. Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE.old
7. Rename AAMupdater to AAMupdater.old
8. Launch Creative Cloud Desktop
9. Introduce CC credentials
10. Select install/update applications
Hope this helps!

When I attempt to upgrade an app in iTunes for windows, I get an error: "Could not purchase. An unknown error occurred (11111). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later"
I am running the latest iTunes 10.7.0.21 for Windows 7.
This error occurs if I try to either update the app or if I delete it and attempt to redownload.
I have an iPhone and an iPad. I am unable to update the apps or install the apps from within the App Store on iOS.
I do not have an AOL ID, as is a common issue with this type of error.
From what I can tell, my Apple ID account seems fine. I logged in, changed some information, and ensured my credit card is valid and updated.
I can download new apps just fine. I am unable to update or install apps I have purchased in the past. After 30 minutes this morning, no resolution. Then another tech support call this afternoon, 15 minutes in, was escalated to a Tier 2 (Senior) advisor. He said something similar to the above ("this is one of the strangest things I've seen"). He was chatted with iTunes guys and took all my info into the case and was escalating it over to engineering. Said they would be in touch.
So, no solution...yet.
Just to clarify:
iTunes on Windows7: trying to update an existing app, or re-download a prior app, gives the (11111) error. Downloading a new (free) app worked fine.
App Store on iPhone5, iOS 6.0.1: click on UPDATE, switches to INSTALLING...for a second, then switches back to UPDATE. No error message (and nothing in Diagnostic data).
App Store on iPad 3, iOS 6.0.1: same as iPhone 5.
Definitely account related.
I have cleared the store cache, signed out and back in, deleted the credit card data, and re-added, rebooting PC and iPhone...nothing works.
Will post if I hear anything back from Apple. -

I am trying to download new version of iTunes from App store having purchased it on my laptop. When I try to download on my iMac I get the following message:
Error message when I try to download new iTunes as follows: iPhoto 7.1.5 is already installed and was not purchased from the Mac App Store - and then I am asked if I want to buy it again. I don't understand the error message and I don't want to purchase the new version again.
Also, since upgrading to Lion my videos (from Sanyo Xacti camera) do not play on iTunes. I can only open photos.
Thank you.Make a back up of your Library. Now you can update without fear.

When I attempt to purchase a song from itunes, I keep getting the following error message: Could not purchase "song name". An unknown error occurred (-42408). There was an error in the itunes store. Please try again later
Can anyone help solve this problem?I've done a search on here and haven't found any solutions posted for it for windows computers. You could try posting in the iTunes For Windows forum and see if you get any suggestions in there (are you able to download other items from the store e.g. a free app ?) - I use a Mac, the only things that I could think of to suggest trying is see if you get the same error on a different iTunes library :
creating and/or opening a different iTunes library : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589
or using a different user account on your computer in case it's a problem with that user account.
But you may want to try the iTunes For Windows forum first, apart from anything else you are likely to get better help for the above
