Create Confirmation button disabled in Central Confirmation

Dear SAP SRM 7.0 Gurus
We are implementing SRM 7.0. We are trying to capture confirmations using the Central Confirmation functionality but the u2018Create Confirmation with Referenceu2019 button is greyed out/deactivated and so we cannot use it.  Our purchase order has shown on the list of Purchase Orders with confirmations pending. The PO lines have the tick Goods Receipt/Confirmation expected ticked.  Here is how are doing it:
Go into Central Confirmation
Select the PO line that is open.
The u2018Create Confirmation With Referenceu2019 button remains greyed out and as a result we cannot create the confirmation.  We have the role /SAPSRM/Receipient assigned to the user.
What could be wrong?
Thanks
Pedzi

  • SRM-SUS: "Create Invoice" button not available in "Confirmation"

A confirmation is created from SUS(702) and posted to ECC (607). Service Entry sheet is released in ECC.
Supplier unable to see the "Create Invoice" button in the confirmation. Please advise what could be missing here?
Is there any status update to Confirmation about the acceptance of service entry. I can see a Service-acknowledgement is posted into SUS but is not visible in the SUS portal.

    Hi,
Did you check whether 'GR based IV' is clicked for respective vendor?

  • Confirmation button is disabled

    Hello Gurus,
I have an issue which is very critical in my project now.
The confirmation button is disabled in central confirmation and Purchasing work centers.
In the PO the Goods Receipt is required is Flagged On.
    Please give your suggestions.
    Regards
    Madhan

    Hi ,
If you made any changes to the SRM PO  then  Please check in BBP_PD transaction for that  PO any change version
document is closed or not.If it is not closed the GR confirmation button will be inactive.
For PO change version the Document should be closed.
Reason : 1 .Please check the PO workflow went in Error ( Then Backend transfer will fail and I1080 Status is active still )
                       2. PO change version workflow executed successfully and there might be chance of failing database update task
                            while updating the PO.

  • Create Confirmation button in POWL

    Hello Experts,
We are on ECS in SAP SRM 7.02 & ECC 6.0 EhP 6.
One of our development objects required preventing GR/confirmation for specific product categories in certain geographies. The development is done & I have tested it to be working fine.
However, there is one small issue when I create mixed carts (containing GR relevant & GR non-relevant items).
Ideally, the "Create Confirmation" button in Requester's POWL should become greyed out for GR non-relevant lines. It works fine for carts containing all GR non-relevant items.
However, in case of mixed carts, the "Create Confirmation" button stays enabled for the line item for which GR is not required (GR_IND unchecked). Though, when I click create confirmation, only the line item relevant for GR gets displayed.
All in all, I am fine with the functionality, but the "Create Confirmation" button staying enabled for GR non-relevant line items in case of mixed carts is a little misleading for my Business users. Is this standard behavior ?
I found SAP note # 1088072 (Enable/Disable of CREATE CONFIRMATION action in POWL), but it is applicable only for SRM 6.0 SP02.
An explanatory screenshot has been attached along with.
Your helpful inputs on this issue shall be appreciated & awarded points (apologies for being so direct) :-)
Many Thanks in anticipation of a resolution,
    PD.

    Resolved myself.
    Thanks.

  • Restrict Operational purchase from creating central confirmation

    Dear All,
In SRM 7.0 we have  role  /sapsrm/secretary and /sapsrm/op_purchaser.  both of them can create central confirmation.
i want  my opertaional purchase user not to be able to create   confirmation for other PO  , he should be able to create confirmation  for  only his PO.
for central confriamtion i am using /sapsrm/secretary.  Is there any way in role or anything simple that we can restric the central confirmation  for opertaional purchaser.
    Thanks
    Iftekhar Alam

    Role Name
    Portal Role
    SAP SRM Server Role
    Employee
    com.sap.pct.srm.ro_employeeselfservice
    /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE
    Operational Purchaser
    com.sap.pct.srm.ro_operationalpurchaser
    /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER
    Supplier
    com.sap.pct.srm.ro_supplier
    /SAPSRM/SUPPLIER
    Goods Recipient
    com.sap.pct.srm.ro_goodsrecipient
    /SAPSRM/RECIPIENT
Depending on the roles assigned to you in SAP SRM, different options are available for confirming goods and services, as well as for entering time data for services rendered.
If you have been assigned the Employee or Operational Purchaser role, you can enter confirmations for goods receipts and services performed. You can do so for items in your own shopping cart, or for which you are the requester or the goods recipient.
If you have been assigned the Supplier role, you can do the following:
Confirm that goods have been delivered or services have been rendered
then you need to identify the transaction and restrict confirmation for purchaser.

  • Confirmation button is de-activated

User tryinig to create a central confirmation but confirmation with reference buttin is deactivated only in cse of one Purchase order but if i chek other purchase order the same user is able to do a central confirmation . i have checked Purchse order but that seems to be fine to me.
Please sugest the possible things to check out to correct this error.
    Thanks
    Sunny Sharma

    Hi Sunny,
    Check the following:
    - What is the Purchase Order status, is it status: ordered?
    - In the header tab of the Purchase Order check the 'follow-on' tab whether GR indicator is set
    - Check whether any workflow on the PO is succesfully completed: Approved
    - In Purchasing -> Purchasing -> Powl: Purchase Order -> Select the purchase order -> The 'create confirmation with reference' is also gray/disabled here?
    - Check in GUI: BBP_PD -> find Purchase Order -> check in (i think header) whether the GR indicator is set.
    Question:
    - What is your systems SP level?
I could check your scenario in my system tomorrow. My basis told me that they couldn't apply the note: '1435570 - Cannot confirm SC having PO with a change version' though on our system, since it needs to be completely manually implemented we will go for the new SP when it's there.
    Kind regards
    Tim

  • Central Confirmation (Goods receipient) in SRM 7.0

    Hi
We are in Standalone Scenario and Upgrading from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0.
We want to use the Central Confirmation scenario where for one region (Based on countries) in Org structure we have One Central Goods receipient.
I have assigned the role /SAPSRM/RECIPIENT to the person. In the Requisitioner attribute I have added the names for which the Goods Receipient can do the confirmation. the Portal roles are also properly assigned to the user. he can see the POWL and Create Confirmation option in Portal.
I have created a SC and converted the same to PO. I wanted to do the Central Confirmation now. I try to search the PO in POWL query but it doesn't display any result. I also try to create confirmation using Create Confirmation option but there also I get "No documents matching the selection criteria".
Wanted to understand if there are any other settings that I might be missing. As a Central Receipient, why am I not seeing the Purchase Order for which I need to do the confirmation.
    Thamks in advance.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Raj,
The requester attribute is used for Shop on Behalf functionality. This makes creating shoppingcarts and confirmations available for employees. Therefore i believe that the configuration of this attribute in your central recipient scenario is obsolete.
I think that you havn't configured the SYS attribute in your organizational schema. This attribute tells the system where to look for your inv/confirmation documents. Include all systems here, in your case: Add your local SAP SRM logical system name. This should resolve your problems.
Ps. Also try giving a (couple) of parameters when searching for your PO document from the central recipient transaction, this helps (speed up) searching for a reference document.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • SRM 7.0 - Central Confirmation / Goods Receipt

    Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0.  What is the backend role and portal role necessary for Central Confirmation / Goods Receipt?  In SRM 4.0 we were able to view all SC's (PO's) that were available for confirmation with the Central Receiver role.  I am not able to locate a portal role or iView that is similar to this.  The Central Confirmation iView does not populate when refreshing and I believe it is for Stand-alone scenario.  We are using Classic scenario.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi Jef
You can create confirmations for purchase orders with the statuses In Process, Changed, or Confirmed.
The document control settings in the purchase order determine whether or not you can create a confirmation for an item. Purchasers use these document control settings to specify which follow-on documents they expect.
    CHECK
Note 1446183 - Incorrect outstanding quantity in EBP confirmation
Currently i dont have SRM 700 box .
in SRM 550 we did not have that status called 'Outstanding Confirmations'
i will check up with my SRM 700 friends and come back to you.
but standard RULE, If the Purchase order is approved then we can do confirmation a any time .
if the POs did not avail for confirmation, you can report to SAP.
    it is a defect.

ps:- is the PO is limit PO and invoice only. check it up.

  • How to SET Focus on 'CONFIRM' button on Account identification page, CIC role?

    Hello Expert,
    Business role is CIC Agent.
    Current Functionality-
    1. CIC Agent gets a call
    2. Search name of customer
    3. If correct customer name found, CIC agent manually CONFIRM the account by clicking on CONFIRM button.
As per client requirement, AUTO_CONFIRM business partner is disabled from SPRO configuration.
    Expected functionality -
    1. CIC Agent get a call
    2. Search name of customer
    3. If correct customer name found, CIC agent manually press ENTER key to confirm the account.
So to get this functionality on ENTRY key (not on mouse click), BSP page element focus should be on 'CONFIRM' button, the moment SAP CRM Web UI frame work loads searched account detail. so that CIC agent once check and verify valid account and then press ENTER key to confirm.
Different Java script code already been tried on SingleObjectViewSet.htm and HiddenView.htm but couldn't achieve the Page focus on confirm button.
Your expertise in resolving issue would be very helpful.

    Hi,
tabs have a "disclosed" property that you can set with a ExpressionLanguage reference to a managed bean method. If the managed bean is in session scope then whatever this method returns for a tab will define whether or not it is displayed

  • Change Confirmation button Grayed

SC create --> PO create --> Conf create --> reverse conf --> add line item to PO --> create confirm again.

  • Confirmation button in check status

    Hello,
when confirming goods in "Confirm Goods / Services" I enter the quantity and I can confirm.
When I press 'create confirmation' in 'check status' I get 'confirmation still contains errors; check the confirmation'. Is this because the amount is missing? Can the amount be filled automatically?
Also I would like to know if it is possible to hide the button?
    thanks and regards
    stefan

    Stefan,
You can remove the confirmation button in various methods..
    1) change the authorization for BBPSC04 for all the roles..
    2) Use BBP UI CTRL BADI for hiding the confirmation button..
    3) Use SHD0.. transaction variant to achieve the same..
Try any one of these that is easy to implement for you..
Let me know if you have more questions..

I have created a site with iWeb. I have replaced the iWeb Nav bar with a vertical one I made myself. Problem is, my top button disables itself (and the animation doesn't work) if it overlaps into the "hidden" nav bar area (indicated by a blue rectangle). I can cmd click and drag it into this area, but then all the rest of my site is pushed down the page. Don't know what to do about this. I don't know how to bring the rest of the page up without dragging it also into the designated nav bar area. Also, by doing this, is it affecting my site in ant way? see my site here at www.steveburrowsimages.com
The home page is with it all draged into the nav bar area and the about page is with is outside the nav bar area (notice that the top button does not animate or work as a button.
Getting confused here. Anyone got any ideas?

Well, you made a good start with SEO by getting rid of the iWeb default navigation since it doesn't help the spiders and, out there in the real world, there are more people than you would think with javascript turned off in their browsers.
One of the downsides of iWeb is that it doesn't allow for the alt attribute in the img tag. Its well worth adding these to give you extra keywords even if you have captioned all your images. Use iWeb SEO Tool for this...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/Search-Engine-Optimization/Tags.html
iWeb, just like most drag and drop software, creates a huge amount of code which causes the pages to load slowly in the browser. Running you files through an optimizer will help to reduce this problem and further reduce the size of image files even beyond the initial optimization you do before loading them into iWeb...
