Create FXDContent from raw FXD string

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone might know whether it's possible to directly instantiate an FXDContent object using a string which contains FXD?
For example, the string would be "*FXD { content: [Ellipse { centerX: 100.0 ...  }*".
It seems that the only way to create either an FXDContent object or FXDNode is via a load of a (well-formed) URI using FXDLoader.
(Hopefully in my noob-ness i haven't missed something here!)
I would like to be able to use my own subclass of HttpRequest to request FXD, in addition to other business data, from my servlet and manage the response (incl. headers, etc.) and load the FXD manually into an FXDContent object.
This would neatly avoid hitting the servlet once for the business data, and then hitting it again via the FXDLoader.
Just wondering if this would be possible, or if there are workarounds?
[I am using NetBeans 6.9.1 and JavaFX 1.3.1, and i have searched but not found any particularly relevant threads on the forum.]
Thanks in advance,
Steve

I found a way using the BC provider (1.3.6). It goes like this.
import org.bouncycastle.asn1.pkcs.PKCSObjectIdentifiers;
import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.AlgorithmIdentifier;
import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.SubjectPublicKeyInfo;
    AlgorithmIdentifier algid =
      new AlgorithmIdentifier(PKCSObjectIdentifiers.sha1WithRSAEncryption);
    SubjectPublicKeyInfo spki = new SubjectPublicKeyInfo(algid, rawKeyBytes);
    byte[] x509KeyBytes = spki.getDEREncoded();The x509KeyBytes may now be used to create a PublicKey using the security API.
    KeyFactory keyFactory = KeyFactory.getInstance("RSA");
    Key publicKey = keyFactory.generatePublic(new X509EncodedKeySpec(x509KeyBytes));I would really like to avoid using the BC API directly, and rather use the standard API all the way. So any ideas are certainly welcome!
I noticed a slight difference in the length of the algorithm identifier created this way compared to using the IAIK provider as shown in may original posting, 20 vs 22 bytes respectively. Below the algid + first bytes of the raw key bytes are show hex-encoded.
BC:   30819d300b06092a864886f70d01010503818d00 30818902818100..
IAIK: 30819f300d06092a864886f70d010101050003818d00 30818902818100..As I haven't found a good definition of these bytes I don't what the difference is, but since both keys appear to work equally well I guess I should be happy with that.

    Okay, I've got some coding off a site that looks like it will do what I want. It's quite a robust applications which will do more than I need but as long as it does at least what I want, i could care less. As it will extract files from the datastream for me, it is going to save them to disk.
    I believe I have to specify a directory to save it to. I believe this is the line I'm going to modify, so assuming that's the case, how do I specify a directory here:
    private File fileOutPutDirectory = null;
    Do I have to use absolute paths or can I use relative. Also, what directory construct is expected by java? Anyone with an example of what urls are supposed to look like in this case?
    Thanks,

  • Photoshop CS5 fails to create HDR from Raw files; what to do?

    All of a sudden the Automate>HDR command is not working. The two files are opened in separate layers, an HDR layer is created. Then, zip they are all gone; nothing.
    Tried restart, re-open software; anyone have any ideas?

    Now each time I try to install iTunes it says "Can not create path (listed above)" I try to open the folder it mentions, it freezes my compunter and makes it crash. Also, iTunes installer will says "Error code 2330. Fatal error while installing"
    That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
    XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
    Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
    Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
    Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
    Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Error in create-nodeset-from-delimited-string

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to use the orcl:create-nodeset-from-delimited-string XPath extension function in the XSL mapper.
    I am using the Map test feature to test my map, and notice that if I use this function, the XSL does not give any output - i guess the map is failing to execute at runtime. When I open the JDeveloper as jdev.exe [so that I can see the command line window for JDev], I can see that an error appears in the command line window that states "Method orcl:create-nodeset-from-delimited-string" not found.
    This XPath function is available for use in the "Advanced Functions" palette in the XSL Mapper.
    Please let me know if
    a) This function can be used within the Mapper, and if so,
    b) whats the right way to use it.
    My usage looks like
    orcl:create-nodeset-from-delimited-string('tns:sampeNode',$delimVar,',')
    where delimVar is a comma delimited string.
    Please let me know your thoughts on this .
    rgds,

  • Having problems creating PDF from website with query-string URLs

    I have a website that I would like to create a PDF from. I am using the Create -> PDF from Web Page..., selecting the site's home page, and capturing 2 levels, with "stay on same path" and "stay on same server" checked in order to limit the scope of the crawl.
    Where the pages are at example.com/foo/ and example.com/foo/bar/, this works fine. However, where the pages are at example.com/foo/ and example.com/foo/?p=1, the page represented by the query string URL is not converted to the PDF.
    This is a problem, given that the site I want to archive as a PDF uses query strings for most of its pages.
    I have been able to individually convert a single query-string-based page into a PDF using this method, but doing this for every page on the site would be almost impossible given the sheer number of pages on the site.
    Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround other than separately capturing each page (which would be prohibitive effort)?
    I have tried this in both Acrobat Pro X and Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac, with the same results.

    Remember, Acrobat is a 32-bit application and as such cannot access all that 'extra' stuff.
    Be well...

  • Create rtf from graphics?

    Is it possible to create rtf from graphics? Am printing some graphics but I also need to create documents of these graphics. Is this possible?
    The graphics is not anything fancy just pure text ....

  • How do I process multiple files and turn them from raw to jpeg

    How do I process multiple files and turn them from raw to jpeg. Ive tried and it seems to go through the files but doesnt seem to process them or store them in the selected folder

    Yes that was the first thing I did. Then I used the process multiple files and selected a new folder to put them in and selected use open files and selected to turn them into jpeg. The images flash on the screen like they are being processed, but the folder never appears in library. Is it possible because there are a couple 16 bit files open that this corrupts the task. Do I need to create the folder first. Will elements not create the folder on its own.
    Thanks Vince

  • Thread: 11gPS2 : Error creating model from wsdl while creating a WebService

    Hi ,
    I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using Jdev.I am using a WSDL file located in my local system for the same. I choose all default options but the proxy is not created due to the following error -
    "Error creating model from wsdl <wsdl_name> : A class/interface with the same name xyz already in use"
    https://picasaweb.google.com/sudipto.desmukh/ADFIssues?authkey=Gv1sRgCJeF2bWcoM_ZBg#5610073699826050514
    I found a few threads which had similar issues but the solutions didnot work for me -
    1)Error creating model from wsdl (Create separate model projects for proxies , since in the existing model project I already had generated files using create WebServiceData control wizard)
    2)Error when creating Web Service Proxy (there are no duplicate variables or schemas in my wsdl)
    Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?

  • Create Delivery from Sales Order Document

    Hello all,
    I have a business requirement to create deliveries from sales orders in the most effcient way possible.  Our current program uses BDC and calls transaction VL01N, however this has been found to dramatically increase the run-time of this program.  I have been searching for a BAPI to essentially do the same thing.
      I came across one BAPI, BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC, but have been getting inconsistent results.  It will create deliveries for some line items and not others with little rhyme or reason.  The return table is not being populated unless it is a high level error, such as the quantity passed being 0.
    To the BAPI, I am passing: Sales Doc Number, Line Item, Quantity, and Document Category.  This is done through an internal table.  I also pass internal tables to receive the return messages and the created documents.
    Has anyone seen the same thing with this BAPI? Is there a better BAPI to use for such a purpose?
    many thanks for any help,
    brian

    Hi!
    For delivery creation you can use FM SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE:

  • Acrobat Pro 9.2.0 error on creating .jpg from .pdf

    Hi there,
    I am encountering this same issue that was cited in the "Saving a PDF file as a JPEG" from 2008.  I have a one-page poster in Word 2010 which I was able to convert into a text renderable pdf, then - in Acrobat Pro - was able to convert this pdf into a jpg with no problems - hundreds of times in the past. The Word file is a composite of several images and text that I wish to save as a .jpg to insert into an event  programme as the front cover.
    Now, on printing to pdf, I am not getting consistent renderable text when I open the file in Acrobat Pro, AND if I attempt to "save as" a jpg I get the following error:
    "Acrobat could not save a page in this document because of the following error:
    The image is too wide to output. Please crop it or reduce resolution and try again. (Page 1)"
    I can only click ignore or cancel. Neither will allow me to create a jpg.
    Has anyone else found this error recently?
    I did download some updates recently to Adobe and Flash, so they could be the problem... but I have no idea what to do to undo them.
    I have tried using a different pdf writer to create the pdf file, but if I go back to Acrobat Pro, I still get the jpg error. I assume the error is to do with teh image rendering end, not the pdf writing itself.
    I note from the discussion string earlier, there has been no fix posted for this. This in itself is rather disappointing for an issue that first arose in 2008.
    I hope someone can help as this is driving me crazy!

    I'm still unable to update Acrobat Professional without doing a complete re-install of the product.
    Has this issue been resolved by Adobe?
    Everytime there is an update to Adobe Acrobat Professional, I have to do a complete re-install before I can apply an update.
    Thanks.
