Create New Info Block in ECC for CRM Customer Fact Sheet

Hi,
we have a requirement to add a new info block in Customer Fact Sheet to display Equipment master from ECC. the info block required somehow is not listed in standard ECC info block.
is there any way i can configure the info block in ECC so i can call it from CRM? or do i need to develop it using ABAP in ECC?
thanks in advance

What I really really need is an example of how a new Assignment block can be created so that it appears in the PDF fact sheet.
I'm aware that the interface within the Smartform will need to be changed, along with the coding to process any new data being parsed in. The copied class, now called ZCL_UIU_PRN_ACCOUNT has a method called Collect_data which populates the itabs and forwards to the appropriate Smartform. I'm currently looking through this code to see what needs to be done.
The collect_data method loops through the data in the CRMT_BSP_PRINT table and retrieves the data structure and class, and I assume it calls them, but I have no idea what these classes have in common as I can't see common theme with them.
The data sources are:
CRMT_BSP_ACTIVITY2_BP
COMT_BSP_BP_ADDRESS
CRMT_BSP_CONTACT_OBJ_BP
CRMT_BSP_INT_HISTORY_BP
CRMT_BSP_OPPORTUNITY_BP
CRMT_BSP_ACC_R3_FACT_SHEET
CRMT_BSP_ACC_RELATION
CRMT_BSP_SALES_AREA_BP
and their associated class/interface is:
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_ACTIVITY
CL_BSP_BP_ACCMOD_ADDR_MIX
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_CONTACT
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_INT_HISTORY
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_OPPORTUNITY
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_PRN_R3DATA
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_RELATIONS
CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_SALES_AREA
It would look like a lot of these classes are based on CL_BSP_*ACCMOD classes, but that's guesswork on my part.
I am unhappy that I seem to be pioneering here as there's no guide/help on exactly what needs to be done to add new AB's/sections to the PDF fact sheet. I find that strange as most areas are well documented, except this area as far as I know.
Sure, there is a note which identifies some of the objects that need to be changed, but misses out a vital table, but there are no guides. There are many people who produce videos on how to achieve the easier stuff, like adding fields to AB's via the UI configurator, but there seems to nothing in the area of extending the PDF fact sheet.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks to all

    Hi,
Create the fact sheet views that you want to include in the component workbench.
Under UI framework def>factsheet> assign these views to a fact sheet.
Then these views are then displayed in Available Fact Sheet Views in the fact sheet configuration using bsp_dlc_fs component within the component workbench.
Select the created view as one of the tile in factsheet.
    Hope this helps

  • CRM 2007 - Customer Fact Sheet

    Hi Gurus,
i've been looking for customer fact sheet screen but can't find any in the standard account master screen in CRM 2007.
    any help really appreciated
    JD

    Hello Jushan,
while debugging in business partner I saw some stuff about the CFS.
Have a look at method CL_BP_HEAD_BPHEADOVERVIEW_IMPL->IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS()
In it do a search for "--- Factsheet". This will point you to the weired code I stumbled upon.
Do not know if it will help you. Maybe you can just assign yourself this User parameter or debug around it. By the way, it will show the button for CFS in the business partner overview page. Never tried to click on it though.

  • I want to create new popup block screen in CO11N SCREEN for condition check

in standard CO11N screen after completing filling the required field , when i click the save icon I NEED TO CREATE THE POBUP BLOCK SCREEN FOR CONDITION CHECKING WHICH CONSIST
    YES    NO    CANCEL
IS THERE ANY FUNC MODULES TO DO THIS? OR IS IT POSSIBLE BY CODING?

    Don't rely on 'Preview'.
Share/Export as .ibooks file and then drag that to iTunes and sync to your iPad.
Still no joy, find a pre-processing recipe ( that includes export for iPad) that doesn't spoil the quality in the process.
Just keep in mind that low quality in means low or lower quality out, in this example.

  • Company Code is not created for CRM Customer in R/3

    Hi Experts,
I have created a BP(with the role Sold-to) in CRM and the same was replicated to R/3 successfully, however the company code data for this customer has not beed created in R/3. I need company code data for the 'Reconciliation Account', which can be maintained under the company code data view of the Customer.
In addition, I am using the ECC Reference Customer which has company code data maintained for it.
    Kindly give your valuable suggestions.
    Best Regards,
    Raj

    Hi Jacob,
CRM doesn't support company code related fields for organizational structure and BP, because in general company code data is not utilized in CRM. The company code data for a customer will be maintained in ERP using the transaction XD01. Even if you download a customer from ERP into CRM, the company related data will not flow into CRM BP, because those fields are not sipported.
Please refer to the SAP note 504169, which clearly explaines the differences between the data models of ERP and CRM.
As per the note then below is not supported.
    Field name:
    KNB1-<xxxxx>, KNB5-<xxxxx>
    Description:
The company code-dependent data of the tables KNB1 and KNB5 are required for the processes billing, dunning and payment in the R/3 System.
    Reason:
These processes are neither required nor desired in the CRM Server. They still occur in the R/3 System. Therefore, this data is not contained in the CRM data model and it is not planned to include this data in the data model.
    Award points, if helps.

  • News iviews in business package for CRM

    Hi ,
I have uploaded the standard business package for CRM . In the first workset for "Home" the page for "news" has ivews like
    1) press releases referring to the path /sapcrmnews/Partnernews/PressReleases
    2) partner news referring to the path /sapcrmnews/Partnernews/PartnerNews
    3) success stories referring to the path /sapcrmnews/Partnernews/SuccessStories
    etc ...
All of these iviews do not display the content and show an error message "Item not found . The item you are attempting to access is not available. Check that the name or link is correct. You might also check whether the associated repository is currently accessible."
When I go to the KM content I can only see the folder /sapcrmnews but the directory structure that these iviews are looking for cannot be located . Should not the directory structure required by these iviews get created automatically when the business package is uploaded ? If not then do we need to manually create the directory structure ? How does the content get displayed in the iviews for the standard business package ?
    Regards
    Deepak Singh

    Hi Thomas,
You have posted in the wrong forum. A solution has been already provided in "CRM Development" forum for this issue. Check out this,

  • Create new Equipment (t-code IE01) for existing asset

    HI Expert,
I have an enquiry on equipment creation via t-code IE01 for existing asset. There are synchronization between Asset Master and Equipment Master which mean both sides will be updated during the creation and changes of master data.
I have create new equipment master via t-code IE01 and has tagged to the existing asset. However after save the creation, new inventory number was generated to the asset master and had overwrite the existing inventory no. Is it because of the synchronization or it is a system standard?
    Your answer is highly appreciate.
    TQ.

My configuration is "Direct Synchronization After Saving" for both master data (asset master & equipment master).
However, I did not assign the Inventory No Field in asset master as a synchronization with equipment master, so how come system can re-generate new inventory no and overwrite the existing inventory no in the asset master? and what the solution if we do not want system re-generate new inventory no in asset master since it has been effected on the printing barcode sticker for the asset.
    Really appreciate your answer.
    TQ.
