  • Problem in Create Requisition Request E-recruitment

    Hi,
    I have configured the standard workflow WS45600028 for the E-recruitment process in HR administration services and able to trigger the workflow successfully when I create requisition in the portal.
    But the workflow fails at the first step 'Import the form data' since the method CL_HRASR00_WF_COMPONENTS-->DATAMAPPING)raises an exception when there are no entries in table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
    The case configuration is absolutely fine but yet am unable to figure out why any entries aren't created in the table T5ASRSCENARIOS.
    How the first entries are created in table T5ASRSCENARIOS? Is it through customising?

  • Job is missing for the Position while creating Requisition in E-recruitment

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a situation when I create new job requisition on the ESS. When I select the vacant position while creating requisition, the org unit text box is populated automatically but not the Job text box. The is relationship between Position - Org unit and Position - Job is maintained in SAP recruitment system. can anyone help me get the Job Text box also filled just as Org Unit text box.

  • E- Rec - Hiding links - Create / copy requisistions in Recruiter start page

    I use a MSS view for creating Requisitions and hence want to hide Create / Copy requisitions link in Recruiter start page --> maintain requisitions.
    Cn it be done with context changes. If yes, Can some one provide some info on the steps required.

    Hi,
    if you want to change the the appearance (grouping, links, texts) of a startpage this is completely done in customizing or better said you can define your own startpages and use some parts of the sap delivery if you like. The customizing for sartpages can be found in the IMG (T-Code SPRO) under SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> (Settings for User Interfaces with Business Server Pages (BSP)) -> Start Pages.
    We usually define customer startpages in every project, this is really no big deal.
    If you want to remove a link from a page you should start by analysing the standard startpage as you will have to "rebuild" it. The standard startpage for the recruiter is 0003. Important to know is that IMG only contains customer customizing. The sap standard delivery is stored in own tables which can only be accessed using table tools e.g. SE11 or SE16.
    The tables for startpage customizing are named T77RCF_SP*:
    T77RCF_SP_ID(C) - Startpages
    T77RCF_SP_ID(C)T - Startpages texttable
    T77RCF_SP_GROUP(C) - Startpage groups (the blocks with a number of links)
    T77RCF_SP_GROUPT/GRPCT - Startpage groups texttable
    T77RCF_SP_LINK(C) - Links
    T77RCF_SP_LINK(C)T - Links texttable
    T77RCF_SP_ASID(C) - assignment of groups to startpages
    T77RCF_SP_ASGRP(C) - assignments of links to groups
    The table without C is the standard delivery, the one with C is the one for customer customizing.
    Just take a sheet of paper and start by getting all groups to the startpage 0003. This should be 1005, 1000, 1001, 2000, 1002, 1004, 1003 but could differ depending on release and support package. As you only want to change the 2nd group you will be able to reuse the others. Next get the links to the group you want to change. In my system it's group 1000 which contains links 1000, 1001, 1003 and 1004 according to T77RCF_SP_ASGRP.
    When you have this info you can start customizing your own startpage. you will need to create a new group in the IMG node -> Define Start Page Groups. Just use the information you find in the standard delivery and assign the 3 links you want to keep. Then create your startpage and assign the standard groups and instead of 1000 your own.
    Althought it is possible to use the same numbers for IDs like SAP I prefere using 9NNN for the ids so you always know if its standard or customer. furthermore do not forget to udate your authorization roles and add the new startpage.

    PS: of course it is your decision to hide links. But even if the managers create the requisitions using MSS the recruiters will work with their startpage only and they will have to be able to create and maintain requisitions so i am not sure if hiding the link is a good idea.

    A vacancy is a position that must be staffed, either completely or partially. Vacancies are maintained by a line manager or personnel officer.The personnel officer responsible manages data for the vacancy according to the authorization assigned to him by the personnel department. The line manager is responsible for deciding on the applicant's suitability for the vacancy.
    The procedure used depends on whether Recruitment is being used as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with Organizational Management.
    If you are using Recruitment as a stand-alone system (without Organizational Management), you must manually enter all data on a vacancy.If you are using Recruitment in conjunction with Organizational Management, the latter component contains a list of all the positions in a company. In this case, all you have to do is set a vacant flag in Organizational Management for any positions that need to be filled. All positions marked vacant in Organizational Management are then available in the Recruitment system for further processing and evaluation. Probably this is the reason why you can not see all your OM positions in recruitment.
    Any vacancies that you created in Organizational Management are marked with a P in the Maintained in OM field of the Vacancy view (V_T750X). You can edit these vacancies in Recruitment.
    Vacancy (Infotype 1007)
    You only create a Vacancy infotype for positions. You might create a vacancy record for an occupied position if, for example, you know an employee is taking maternity leave.
    You can create a Vacancy infotype record for a position that is occupied or unoccupied. If your company does not distinguish between occupied and unoccupied positions - that is, you consider all unoccupied positions to be vacant - you can set an indicator rather than maintain the Vacancy infotype.

  • IRecruitment Create Vacancy: Move the Position Field

    Hello all,
    I was wondering if anyone knows how or if we can move the position field on the Create Vacancy: Vacancy Details page. We are unable to reorder the page using personalizations and we are strictly avoiding customizations, but the position field is in place where it just doesn't make sense.
    In some cases, users will select a position, which populates the job, organization and location fields. But on the page it is after all of these fields, which doesn't make sense. Also, the position LOV is empty if org and location are already selected. We can get around this by selecting position first, but it is 10th or so field on the page.
    Does anyone have any ideas on how we can accomplish this without customization? I don't think it is possible, but I thought I would get some feedback first.

    Actually i am creating new rule with the below conditions:-
    Category : For Your Information
    Conditions:
    VACANCY_INSERT_OR_UPDATE in (INSERT)
    VACANCY_RULE_TYPE in (CUSTOM_RULE)
    Action:
    approval-group chain of authority                    Require approval from HR Africa Coordinators
    Actually this rule is working fine and sending notification but my problem is that when creating the vacancy, its saying that vacancy submitted for approval which is wrong, i needed it to be created automatically.

    Go to TCODE :- S_AHR_6106502 it will display the existing positons.
    Go to TCODE :- S_AHR_61016509 and it will display all vacant positions.

  • E-Recruit - Problem creating candidates using RCF_CREATE_USER

    When I try to create candidates for e-recruitment in se38 using the program RCF_CREATE_USER I get an error message that says "Enter at least one number for the business partner".
    But if I try to run the program again for the same user then it says that "A candidate already exists for the user". However if I check in su01, no reference user has been addded to the user roles.
    Can anyone suggest why this isn't working.

    We never had any issue while using this program 'RCF_CREATE_USER' though our recruit is still not working because of some other issues. We do get this error '"A candidate already exists for the user" whenever we try to repeat a username. If you use a username in this program which you never have used it before, you wont get this message. Try creating a new user in SU01 and then use in this program. You wont get this message. Normally we assume that a user is created even if you get some error after running the program. This is just my assumption. It seems E-recruiting  model is very very complex!!
    Let me know if you need any docs on Customizing the IMG for E-recruiting.

    Please tell me how to create an ER(E-Recruitment) Infotype. This infotype will be mapped to BSP application.

    if you really create a new infotype for e-recruiting you use the standard tools like for hr master data / pd infotypes. These tools create screens but they are useless. The reason is that the tools are build for SAP HCM and noone really cares about e-recruiting so there is no option like "it's for e-recruiting do not create screens". If you do not want to have any maintenance issue you can just delete the screens you will never miss them.
    If you look for a BSP version of the screen generation I have to tell you that such thing is not existing you will have to build all screens on your own.
    Whenever I can I try to use the CI Includes of the E-recruiting Infotypes to store additional data or if you need additional candidate fields which are existing in the business partner (e.g. nationality) but are not maped i widen the bp data mapping.
    If all these things are not possible you can add your own infotype which has some pros (e.g. getting the infotype framework for free) and cons (e.g. datatype/length restriction for fields) or you make your own database table where you have all freedom you like. If you need to enlarge the data model for Candidate / Candidacy information and do not plan to run statistics on this data using the Application Wizard Questionaire might be a solution, too.

    Im trying to create a replacement vacancy for which the approvers are not not visible. The issue is not existing for new vacancies?

    What do you mean by a replacement vacancy?...a duplicated vacancy?
    i.e. iRecruitment Recruiter > iRecruitment Home > Vacancies (tab) > Search Vacancy > Duplicate button?
    The standard rule 'iRecruitment Create Vacancy' will add approvers on both create new vacancy and duplicate vacancy.
    Therefore it is likely that there is something in your config e.g. AME rule, Form Function Parameters, Workflow, OAF customizations that is stopping this occuring.
    I would start with the AME rule.
    Go to Approvals Management Business Analyst and select the "iRecruitment Vacancy Approval" transaction type.
    Use the "Test Workbench" to see what attribute values are being set / rules applied for a duplicate vacancy transaction.

         I am using the two different stand alone system for the E recruitment and HR system.
    When i am raising the Requisition the object is getting created in the E recruitment instance without any problem(Extended Requisition Request).
    There is no problem in creating the requisition request. But i need the link between the Requisition and the notification no. Is there any table to find the relationship between the requisition and the Notification no.

    The Requisition type SRQ2 - Extended Requisition Request is defined as standard in the Internal Service Request(ISR) for Vacancy Requisition raised through Manager Self-Service, the Notification types defined are
    81 - ISR Request with approval
    82 - ISR Request without approval
    it can be defined through SPRO - Cross-Application Components - Internet/Intranet Services - Internal Service Request (ISR) - Definition of Scenarios with Specific Customizing - Request for Master Data Change - Define Own Scenarios for Request to Change Master Data
    SPRO - Cross-Application Components - Internet/Intranet Services - Internal Service Request (ISR) - Scenario Definition - Prepare General Notification - Notification Creation - Notification Type - Define Notification Types

    1)Our requirement is, manager is creating the vacancy and in the same page, manager has to select the departments, so that this vacancy is posted to only selected departments. Only the employees from the selected department are eligible to apply for this vacancy. I think, the standard functionality is "all the employees in the organization are eligible to apply by default". How can I achieve this?
    2) I believe the security methods (Team, Business and Team and Public) are used for managing vacancy details and not related to applying for this vacancy (Say, for Exa: If I am selecting security method as "Team" and giving 10 people in the recruiting team. Whether only these 10 people are eligible to apply for this vacancy? Pls correct me if I am wrong.

But I think you can achieve this by doing a little customization. Like adding a flex field to choose departments and then customizing(Extending VO, that list available vacancies) using the flexfield information..

    Hi Sridhar,
    As per concept  - Recruitment Module is used to fill the positions which are vacant as defined in OM.
    In your case,
    first create the required position using PO13 or PPOM_OLD to create the position under the org.Unit , which you need.
    Th new Position  created by you will be given a 8 digit Obj.Key.
    And ensure that the Position's Staffing Status is marked as vacant, using the transaction - PPOME (basic Data tab).
    and then come to the recruitment module and create positions for the workforce Requirement and Advertisement, by entering the newly created Position id.
    As per IMG help
    A company's workforce requirements are represented in the Recruitment system by means of vacancies created and maintained by the user. A user can only create a vacancy if the positions available within the company have already been set up.
    Hope this clarifies your doubt.
