Creating Compalint in CRM 7.0 IC WebClient

Hello Experts,
We are implementing CRM 7.0 Service. Interaction center is one of the components.
We are creating Compalint in Interaction Center, a follow-up document e.g. a Service Order needs to be created. We are facing an issue, that Items are not getting copied over from complaint to follow-up document. Things are working fine in GUI.
Has anybody came across similar sinario?
Thanks
Rashmi

Hi Ambar,
Check the following settings:
1. Define Generic OP mapping in Navigation bar profile assigned to your Business role.
2. Check the authoization profile in PFCG.
3. Check the Channel for all the transaction, Make sure that channel (GUI :CRM Web client UI) is removed for all the transactions.
4. In Item Categories definition, Customizing header--> Quotation relevance is 'Initial Sales/Service'. if it is Initial Quotation, transactions will be displayed in Quotation logical link.

  • Error while creating Campaign in CRM

    Hi all,
When I am trying to create Campaign in CRM, system is throwing an error saying that "Can not get RFC destination for SEM".
We are not using SEM in our project.
Can anybody suggest me how to avoid/rectify this error?
    points will be guaranteed.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rahul.

    Hi Rahul,
As long your are not activate/ use the key figure planning or budget,
you can use without SEM. There is setting in SPRO to set this.
Also in your CRM Campaign, you do not use scenario planning.
    Hope this helps,

  • Creating consumers in CRM and R/3

    Hi,
We are currently looking at mapping Consumers from CRM to R/3 and vice versa.  We would like to be able to create consumers in CRM which replicate into R/3 and also create consumers in R/3 which replicate to CRM.  However we understand that in R/3 only one 'Consumer' account group can exist.  As default in R/3 the consumer account group is 0170.  Is it true that the R/3 account group 0170 is classed as a consumer because the 'Consumer' checkbox is ticked?
We thought the following would work but it doesn't so any tips would be great.
In R/3 we have created a new account group Z170 which is a copy of
    account group 0170.
In R/3 transaction PIDE we have mapped the following:
    CRM > R/3: Classification: E = Consumer:Person to the R/3 account group
    0170.
R/3 > CRM: Mapped the account group Z170 to Classification E=
Consumer:Person with external number range assigned.
We then go into R/3 to create a new BP in transaction XD01, we seelct
the account group Z170 but we noticed the screen fields does not
say 'Person'. Also after creating this BP we check in CRM that it has
been replicated, it has been replicated but the BP has been created
with roles 'Sold to Party' etc and not maintained in role 'Consumer'.
We have mapped the R/3 account group Z170 to classification E so we
assume it will be replicated into CRM as a consumer.
    Cheers

    Hi,
The key thing is we would like to create Consumers:Person in CRM and in R/3 and these must be replicated back into R/3 and CRM respectively.
Has anyone ever had to create Consumers:Persons in CRM and R/3?  if so any help would be much appreciated.  We understand that only one consumer accountr group can exists in R/3 so we wanted to know how we could go about this issue.  We would like an internal number range for both CRM and R/3 when creating consumers.
    Thanks
    Cheers

  • CRM 4.0 IC webclient to CRM 2007

    Hi
Currently we are on CRM 4.0 using IC Webclient for our call centre. Around 30% of development done in BOL layer programming to suit the business requirements.
Now we are planning to upgrade to CRM 7.0 with IC Webclient
Can anybody help us in providing information and precautionary measures to be considered for upgrade.
    Regards
    Satish Kumar

    Hi,
just wanted to stress that even than BOL/ genIL is still compatible it has been significantly increased especially around the advanced and saved searches and some more new features like a generic "text-for-key" support service to facilitate UI development.
The biggest change however that you might experience in the BOL layer is, however, the complete BOL support of all CRM objects including all sub objects, relations and attributes. So the enhancements that you have done in your 4.0 project might not even be necessary anymore unless you've introduced completely new objects. Also fields you added via EEW will be available in the respective BOL objects without manual code effort.
On the UI layer itself you have to be aware that even though the whole CRM 2007 UI is based on the same UI framework as CRM 4.0 IC WebClient, this framweork has been significantly enhanced and supports now also concepts as components (to organize, structure and manage different areas of the CRM application), reuse via components and windows etc. Also there are two new sets of tags: THTMLB (Low level UI controls such as input fields, tables and trees) and CHTMLB. The latter one contains eta tags for configuable views that allow the adjustment of views via the configuration tool, which allows defining fields and arrangement on a form or a table as well as re-labelling.
Also the toolset in general has been heavily enhanced and there's also the concept of modification-free enhancements on the UI layer based on inheritance.
The upgrade will be "technical" meaning that all your stuff will survive but due to the componentization of the UI framework will not run out of the box in the new environment. You will have to "re-do" investments you've done on the UI side - however this should be much easier compared to 4.0 due to configurability of the UI and the improved toolset.
I hope this information helps to get an idea what you can expect.

  • Steps to create Iobjetcs in CRM Service

    Hi guys,
Could anyone tell me what steps I need to follow to create Iobjects in CRM 4.0?
Can you point me to any good documentation?
The documentation I found so far was not useful.
    Cheers
    Martin

    Hi Bhargava,
An individual object is an individual piece of data that identifies uniquely an object. For instance, a serial number for a monitor identifies a monitor uniquely. In this example the monitor is just a product (or material) and the serial number is the iobject. Ibjects are useful, for instance, when you need to send an engineer to a place to replace an equipment. You just give the engineer this number and he knows exactly what he needs to fix.
    Hope this helps.

  • Create order on CRM from ISA without ITS

    Hi!
I must create Purchase orders from ISA to CRM. I study 2 ways:
    1: call RFC on CRM to ISA, get data from isa, create order on CRM;
2: create javascript on isa for send data to crm and create order.
in both ways, i don't know which function module to use.
is there a way for trace both system and take correct function modules?
    i don't have ITS!!
    I hope to explain well.
    best regards!
    Ale

    Hello Ale,
if the ISA and the CRM System are running on two different machines you can use Ethereal to captuere the Network traffic and find out what function module is used. Also the Application Log in the CRM Server (Transaction ST01) can be usefull.

  • Create Reconnection from CRM Web-IC for Utility

    Hi Experts,
We have set up an Interaction Center for Utilities. If a utility customer calls the center for reconnection/ disconnection of his meter request, then the IC Agent logs in with a business role assigned to him, identifies and confirms an account.
We can't create a disconnection document in CRM itself. We would perhaps need to use a Transaction Launcher.
However, is there a standard way of creating Reconnections from CRM Web-IC?
    Thanks
    Avik

    Hi,
If we want to create disconnection/reconnection from crm web UI than we can use transaction launcher, otherwise we have to proceed in isu to create disconnection/reconnection document and order.
Because we do not have any such process in CRM to complete the process of disconnection/reconnection.
Or else you can create a notification from CRM than further processing can tak place in ISU.

  • T code for creating BP in CRM

Can anybody help me with the transactions codes required to create BP and contract account, etc. using CRM. It will be replicated in IS-U.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
since SAP CRM 2007, the WinGUI for the business application is no longer officially supported. You create business partners and business agreements (equivalent to contract accounts in the backend) in the SAP CRM WebClient. There are several roles delivered in standard SAP to support different sets of business requirements, for example UTIL_IC for the utilities interaction center agent or UTIL_SALES for the utilities key account manager.
Based on the pre-defined roles, you can customize your own roles.
In SAP CRM, the WinGUI is supported only for customizing/development.

  • CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - Transaction Issue

    Hi
We have a Service Ticket Transaction as our main Transaction with Business Activity & Task as Dependant Transactions.
I wanted to remove the dependant transactions (Business Activity & Task) so used: Define Business Transaction Profile for current Web Client Profile and deleted the 2 transactions.
Unfortunately when I go into Follow Up Transaction I see I still have these 2 Transactions as possible options.
Even went so far as to delete the Business transaction profile and create another, but still thes 2 Transactions are visible.
Any guidance on thids will be richly rewarded.
    Regards
    Panduranga

    Hello Panduranga,
First of all, make sure the buffer is not the problem.
Refresh all buffers by entering /$SYNC in the transaction box. (Don't do this on a production system!!)
If that doesn't solve your problem you can try this:
    1. Delete them as follow-up transaction in the copy control customizing.
SPRO->CRM->Transaction->Basic settings->Copying control for Bus Trans.->Define copying control for Trans. Types.
Delete here the follow-up transactions you don't want to see in the dropdownbox.
    2. Edit the follow-up transaction types and remove the channel 'ICW Interaction Center Webclient' so they are no longer usable in the WebClient.(Only CRM 5.0)
    SPRO->CRM->Transactions->Basic settings->Define Trans. Types.
Select the trans. type you want to hide. CLick on "Allowed channels for trans. type" and delete the WebClient entry.
    This should solve your problem.
    <b>Reward points if useful!</b>

  • Error in replicate created BP in CRM 7.0 to ERP

    Hi you all.
When I create a new BP in CRM, and go to SMW01 the BDOC gives un error, the message is that I didn't fill all required fields.
I've check and the account group that should recieve the BP in ERP don't have in obrigatory fields.
The strange is that when I did the initial load ERP->CRM every thing went fine, and also the delta changes went ok. My problem is only in the creation of new BP in CRM, that should be replicated to ERP.
Can anybody help with some clues?
    Thanks

    Hi Rui,
For me the best way to identify the field(s) that are causing the trouble is to debug the creation of the BP, in the ERP system.
Maybe there you'll find the missing information you need.
If you're willing to give a try, when you create a business partner in CRM the function CRM_UPLOAD_AFTER_MAP_HANDLER calls a remote ERP function called CRM_UPLOAD_TRIGGER.
This function will call another functions that are configured in the system (I think is table CRM_BUPA_CALL_FU). One of them is PI_BP_PROXY_BAPI_CUSTOMER that will start gathering the information and will create the customer in include LVV02F3J.
For me, the best spot to put the break-point is in include LVV02F3J, after the CALL TRANSACTION statement. The error messages will be in T_BDCMSGCOLL parameter, and there maybe you'll find the help you need to find the problem.
    Kind regards,
    Garcia

  • CRM 5.0 - IC WebClient - Warning on Follow Up Transaction

    Hi Gurus
I would have thought I could fex this by myself but hitting a dead end.
We're using Business Activity & Task transactions for follow ups. I keep getting this warning when I try yo create a Follow up:
"Codes for subject profile category "G" are not permitted in this trans."
There are no furhter details available on this warning, and I cannot locate a hit on SDN for it.
I would have thought it would be something to do with my Catalog selection but I'm not finding anything wrong in my setup.
Max points for the right guidance.
    Many Thanks
    Panduranga

    Hi Rekha
I think you are pointing me in the right direction, just a point before I continue
When I view the available Catalogs, all except Catalog G1 "Cancellation Reasons" have a Keyword, as the Keyword for G1 is blank could this be causing an issue. This was how it was supplied from SAP.
    We are using 3 Transactions
Z000 Business Activity - Transaction Category = Business Activity
                                                                           With Subject Profile Category -
                                                                           Activity Reason
Z003 Service Ticket - Transaction Category = Service Process
                                                                      With Subject Profile Category -
                                                                      Service
& Transaction Category = Business Activity
                                                                      With Subject Profile Category -
                                                                      Activity Reason
    Z004 Task - Transaction Category = Task
                                                         With Subject Profile Category -
                                                         Activity Reason
Do you see an issue with this config.
    Generally we Open Up Webclient
                        Confirm Account
                        Create Service Ticket
                        Goto Interaction Record - Followup
Select either Business Activity or Task as Follow Up
Then select Follow Up Details to complete the Follow Up
This is when the error occurs

  • Creating Activities in CRM using Word Templates and Web Services??

    Hi,
This functionality can be achieved through Adobe Interactive Forms from what I have learnt through demos etc. We are checking the feasibility of using with Word Templates instead.
    This thread has multiple questions:
We are trying to set up the activity creation as mentioned in the CRM70 system.
    1) At this point, finished the retrieval of information from the CRM Activity into a Word Template using a READ Web Service. Subsequently synchronized this with outlook and can see the Word document in the outlook item. Not able to open the same in Outlook, since it comes over as a XML document type. "Cannot open as there is a problem with the contents. ">" expected, line so and so...is the message
    2) I created a Web Service that writes as well into CRM and would like to use this from the Word Template to create the activity in CRM
2a) Can the word template be incorporated with buttons that can trigger creation in CRM, similar to Adobe "Execute" etc
2b) If yes, and If there are some custom fields that I add to the activity transaction, in the UI, can I populate these with input from the Word Template, as well
    Regards,
    Ashwin

    Hell Wregs,
You can create the Product in CRM GUI,by using Transaction:COMMPR01,not mandatory to have WebUI..,
but b4 that you need to set up Product Hierarchy and Product category under which the Products can be created.
Use Transaction:COMM_HIERARCHY Transaction to do this.
    Hope this helps
let me know if any further questions
    Thanks & Regards
