Creative Webcam Center feature request

I've used several webcam applications. This one is very nice, but is lacking the most important feature for me. Under motion detection, there should be an option to save image captures, not just video. Video takes a lot of disk space. I would like to have a captured image for every x seconds motion is present. If you would like a sample of very valuable settings in this regard, you could try Willing Webcam.

    Hello. Just installed my Creative NX Ultra webcam, and it works good with msn etc, but when I run Creative WebCam Center I get this; "No supported Creative camera detected. Please plug in to continue." I have no idea what to do, I've tried reinstalling the webcam drivers and the webcam center, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

    I don't have the same issues as you do, but wanted to see if we have the same camera or not, maybe help each other out even.. I'm thinking that I bought my camera a couple of years ago, but I only had it hooked up and tried it once. At that time, it seemed like it worked fine, but now the video doesn't look that great and I'm even wondering if it is the right software! I have a seperate headset. But being as I've never turned it on again after that, I've had to reinstall and not 100% sure if there is an upgrade or not for the software. So what version software do you have?
    I have version 2.03.01 and it says PC-CAM Center for the NX ultra. I says Instant Live Video chats, but being as I'm not to sure yet how to use it, I am wonderng why it tells me to "save".. I would have thought that if your using it online, why would you save it?
    At anyrate.. if you or anyone else should see this, is there a higher version for the software?
    AND, I want some advice of what to buy for working online, I need a camera for this. Am I supposed to get a new headset to match?..
    I hope someone gets back to me soon, cause I've been advised to buy another brand and I really don't want to, being as Everything else on my computer is set up for sound using Creative labs.

    I have just bought creative webcam live pro, and i put in the instalation CD but it does contain the Creative webcam center...

  • Webcam Instant, Creative Webcam Center issue

    im having trouble with my webcam center application. drivers and everything installed just fine and i accessed the Center application once with no problem until i tried to save a captured pic. then it went unresponsi've and now wont start at all. i even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it doesnt work.

    JornGP .... Have you tried doing more than taking one snapshot under each user name? I tried going into other users as well. The software started, but as soon as I took a snapshot it locked up. Now under those users it no longer starts up either and locks.
    As for Windows Updates, I don't have my PC set for automatic updates - it only updates when I manually check for updates and install. No new updates were installed on my PC during the time this problem started, so that can't be it.

  • Creative webcam center "load failed" error

    hello,
    sorry if this has been covered, i tried the search and knowledge base but no luck.
    i tried to update the webcam centre software to the new version form the version on the cd. it installs fine but then will not run. all i get is a "load failed" window. click "ok" and it pops up again. does this about fi've times, the propts to send an error report.
    any ideas why?
    i have reverted back to the cd version for now.

    I too have this problem, but even after I re-install the cd software that came with the camera, I still get the load error! What is going on here!!

  • Big problems with creative webcam instant (sample included)

    yesterday i purchased a creative webcam instant, and i am dissapointed in the quality of the video.
    The frame rate is great, however there is artifacting and the video jumps around all over the place.
    I have never had a problem with any other imaging devices before, so i cant see why this is happening with this camera.
    This happens with the creative webcam center, and also in any other application that uses video from the camera (such as any instant messenger program)

    Just recently bought this cam, worked fine for a week but now not able to record video: Getting message stating unable to capture video. Please check you have sufficient space on your hard disk.     In the Creative WebCam Center software, go to Tools->Settings->Capture tab. You should be able to see a Video Capture option by the left side(make sure your WebCam is connected to the computer). Click that and then try changing the video compressor format used.

  • Creative Cloud Feature Request

    There is no option for selecting "Creative Cloud" in the Adobe feature request/bug report form, so I'll post my request here. When syncing files to Creative Cloud, I would like to have some kind of progress indicator, with an estimate of when the syncing will be complete. It is rather disconcerting to be syncing large files to the cloud, and not knowing how progress is going.  Currently, the app just reports "syncing" with a spinning wheel. That is not enough information. Other cloud file services have this feature, so it shouldn't be a big deal for Adobe to add it.

  • Feature Request: File Management for Creative Cloud Mobile

    I like the new Creative Cloud app but I am surprised that it is not possible to manage any files or folders.  This weakens the usefulness of the app since it forces a user to use the creative cloud website for this.  This should be part of the app and would improve the functionality of the app.

  • Creative Livecam Vista IM - software problem (WebCam Center)

    Hello,
    I've just had my camera installed with all the software included. There's one problem - every time I open the WebCam Center, the program tries to install something called "Photo Gallery". However, it's impossible to install that, because some errors occur (2908).
    The only way to get the WebCam Center work is to cancel the installation, which is possible only just after the WebCam center launches.
    How can I get rid off this "Photo gallery" installation thing?

    Can you click on the details for the error report and post up what it says. If it reports something about Apple causing the problem then you could try updating your QuickTime to the latest version.

    The best way to submit a bug report or feature request is to use the bug-report/feature-request form.
    The Premiere Pro team doesn’t  necessarily see and record every post on every forum and social network, but we do see, record, and track every entry  through the the official feature-request/bug-report form.
    It also helps a lot if you opt into the Product Improvement Program.
    Also, be sure to use the crash reporter.

    Dun tink that creative customer support sucks cos I had been dealing with them in the past and I can say that their service are quite gd and fast. If you wanted a refund, I tink you need to contact the store that sells you the product. Dun tink creative will refund you though.

  • Feature Request:  Modify Audio Channels from the Timeline in Premiere CC.1

    Why have we never been able to modify audio channels once a clip is added to a sequence?  I'm guessing there's a good reason Adobe has never had this feature.  The lack of this feature is explicitly mentioned a few times in the audio section of the Premiere Pro CC manual, as if it's a benefit NOT to have it.  But the benefit is entirely lost on me. 
    In my workflow, I synchronize my double-system video and audio before anything else.  I do this in PluralEyes (and unfortunately I'll have to keep doing it this way, until PPr's sync on sound feature gets fixed—for me it's never worked).
    Once PluralEyes has synched hours of footage and audio and placed it on a PLURALEYES GENERATED sequence, I import that sequence into Premiere.  Note:  Since I haven't gone through the step of creating a blank New Sequence, I don't get the opportunity to setup my audio channels the way I'd like in my sequence (i.e. Stereo recordings should occupy ONE track, not two.  Typically these tracks come from a camcorder and are used for reference sound, or ambient noise at best, so I don't need them taking up precious real estate in my sequence). 
    Since PluralEyes doesn't merge my clips for me (or rather I don't want it to since I'm usually doing multi-cam sequences where I want to keep all 14, or so, tracks of audio), I have to go through the clips one by one and do a Merge Clip action once I've adjusted any minor sync issues, or determined which tracks I actually want to keep.  But, and here's the key, at this stage I'm not yet 100% certain whether I'll use the nat sound or the wireless mic sound (separate audio recorder, etc).  Furthermore, I don't really want to think about that at this point.  After I've spent a few mind-numbing hours just ingesting files, sync and merges, I want to jump into the edit as soon as possible, before I lose all will to finish this edit.  If I modify my audio channels right now, I'll lose the ability to make some creative decisions later on.
    I'd like to start whacking out an assembly edit.  And then after I have a rough program, I can start looking at which audio tracks (nat or double-system) I like better in each circumstance.  This is where I become stumped that at this stage, I'm locked into whatever audio channels I've setup (or not) in the earliest stage of the edit, back before any media was actually on the timeline!  It's at this stage, and usually only at this stage that I want to start Modifying Channels—FROM THE TIMELINE!
    Does anyone else feel the same?  If not, what is your workflow?
    Feature Summary:  Right-click on any clip, (master clip, sub-clip, merged, nested or otherwise) in the timeline and choose Modify > Audio Channels.
    I've submitted a feature request, with a link back to this discussion, so please pipe in—especially if you want this feature. 

    Maybe its your specific workflow, asset mangement  and use of a 3rd party application that  runs you into an issue.
    Take Pluraleyes out of the equation, I would imagine my workflow is the same as most everyone else.  Find footage in the Media Browser.  Import it.  Create a Sequence and start editing.  Use the Source Monitor to set Ins and Outs and then Insert the clip on the timeline. 
    At this point, if the audio needs to be modified, it cannot be done on the Timeline.  The workaround, of course, is to Find Clip in Project; Modify Audio in the Project panel; then do a Matchframe to replace the audio clip.  This works, but requires many steps per clip.  Also, Matchframe in Premiere Pro CC is not reliable. 
    Introducing a new Modify Audio (from Timeline) feature as seen in the fantasy screenshot above would solve it.
    I dont use Pluraleyse ...which I understand to be a synching aid...so I dont know the workflow it imposes on one .
    Returning to Pluraleyes workflow, this issue is compounded by the need to Modify almost ALL audio.  Every stereo track is separated and placed on two MONO tracks taking up precious real estate.  This is not something Pluraleyes imposes.  It is due to the way Premiere imports XML timelines.  This would apply to sequences imported from Final Cut as well.
    In this case it would be ideal to select both the LEFT and RIGHT mono tracks and choose "Modify > Audio Channels > Merge L/R Mono to a Single Stereo track."  Ideal?  No.  I guess Ideal would be if Premiere would interpret XML files properly in the first place.
    What actually is the issue with Premieres synch and merge workflow in your case?
    Audio Sync in Premiere Pro doesn't work.  Period.
