Credit limit at delivery order

hi guys
how can we define credit limit update at delivery order not sales order .
Thanks in advance

Hi,
For credit limit update of only open delivery related items (and open billing items) ensure that the update grp in ur Credit control area is 00015. If it is 00012 or 00018 then it will take sales order also.
For a credit check at Delivery level, in OVA8 for the combination of risk category, credit cntrl area & Credit grp set the Open Deliveries check box is activated.
IF the credit update grp is 00012 then selecting the Open orders will also consider the open sales order for credit check. If the Update grp is 00015 then it does not matter whether Open Sales order is checked or not.

  • How configure the credit limit at sales order level

    Hi
how can i configure the credit limit at sales order level..
ex: when i create sales order ... if exceeds the sales order value to  credit limit value ...sysyem does not accept to save this sales order ...is it possible...pls help me in this issue
    regards
    sesidhar

    Hiiiii
It is very much possible in SAP
first you have to create credit control area
then assign your company code to your credit control area
then create your customer and assign credit control area in billing tab (for that u have to activate credit control area for your transaction by OB20)
    Then go to t-code VOA8
assing credit check to your sales document type
create credit control area automatic with your credit control area.

  • Credit limit in sales order

    Dear experts
I am facing a problem in credit control check , for a  customer I have done configuration settings in SPRO sales credit management ,  Define automatic credit control ,in that i defined dynamic credit check .
it is working fine but the problem is when new customer is created and maintained credit limit in code FD32  ,  it is not checking any credit limit which have defined in FD32 ,it is allowing me to create any amount of sale invoice to customer,
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    SrinivasRangi

Have you assigned a risk category to your customer in FD32, which you might have defined in OVA8. Also, did you ticked against open orders and open deliveries in while defining dynamic credit check for your risk category in OVA8.
See, in OVA8 against the combination of your credit control area and risk category, define dynamic credit check, put a check against open orders and open deliveries, so that it takes them into account while calculating credit exposure for that customer. Also assign this risk category in FD32 for that customer.
Hope this is of some help for you.....
    Reward, if helpful....

  • Total Credit Limit exceeded, but orders are still credit approved

    Hello,
I'm encountering the following issue for one customer:
    Total credit limit - $100,000
    Individual limit - $80,000
The customer has two credit control areas.  For credit control area 1 (CCA1):
    Credit Limit - $80,000
Credit Exposure - $110,000 (i.e. credit exposure exceeds credit limit for not only CCA1, but for the entire customer credit limit)
For credit control area 2 (CCA2):
    Credit Limit - $20,000
Credit Exposure - $10,000 (i.e. credit exposure does not exceeds credit limit for the CCA2, but entire credit limit is still exceeded)
When I enter a sales order in credit control area 2 for this customer, the credit status is approved, even though the total customer credit limit has been exceeded.  I am wondering if this is standard SAP behavior.  If so, what's the point of a total credit limit if it doesn't reject an order where the total credit exposure exceeds the total credit limit?
Risk category and all other config for the credit control areas match in OVA8.  If this is standard behavior, or if there is a configuration element turned off that should be turned on, I would greatly appreciate the help.  Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Pls check if the risk category is assigned in FD32 and the relevant combination exist in "Define Automatic Credit Control".
    Thanks,

  • Credit Limit check on Delivery:: Sales order blocked

    Dear Friends,
We have implemented credit limit check with delivery Block option in Sales order. After revising Credit limit, while user is creating Delivery again, system prompts for Delivery Block in Sales order i.e, reson for Block is Credit limit in Sales Order. then user removes resason and proceeds further.
Is there any way by which system doesn't put reason for rejection in sales order and just not allow to create delivery in system. i.e. we want to remove the step of removing reason from sales order.
    Regards Krishan Raheja

    Dear Krishan,
As per my understanding you require just a credit check in the sales order level, which can be implemented using credit management in sales order level . In that case system will automatically block the sales order if the credit limit is exceeded.
So you do not need a DELIVERY BLOCK reason assigned to your SALES ORDER TYPE in VOV8.
Please clarify, whether you need to block the sales order and delivery due to credit limit...
or is it just sales order which need to be blocked ?
you can get the detailed configuration steps in SDN or the same is as follows.

  • Static credit check: credit limit exceeded for consignment issue delivery

    Hi,
We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
In SPRO config "Credit limit check for order types", no credit limit check is assigned to the order type. However, there is one assigned for the delivery type. Also, for CCAr/Risk cat./CG combination in OVA8 (Auto Credit Block Delivery), static credit check has been activated with error message reaction. Open orders and open deliveries were also activated. Customer exceeded credit exposure but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Given that this is the current setup, and the following conditions:
    1. Credit limit for the customer cannot be increased
    2. Oldest open item cannot be cleared just yet
Is there any way that we can proceed with delivery creation for this customer? The other order types have credit limit check so credit management team was able to release them. However, we are unsure on how to proceed with this consignment order. Kindly advise and thank you in advance for your help.

We are encountering a credit limit exceeded error in delivery creation for a consignment issue.
but user cannot release the order in any VKMx transactions as no credit limit check is assigned to the order type.
Looks contradictory and it may need to run report RVKRED77 to reorganization of open credit values. Try to run the report in test system and then run in production system. After running the report, the use must be able to release in VKM* transaction.

Coming into your requirement as per my understanding, previously you were using the credit control at Delivery level, now the same setting is changed to order level is that correct?

  • Credit check at Delivery

For one of our risk categories, we would like the credit check to occur at both the Sales Order and Delivery creation events.  In transaction OVA8, I have created records for the credit control area/risk category/credit group.  The credit groups are assigned to the document types properly (01 - at Order, and 02 - at Delivery).
When I create an order which exceeds the credit limit, I release it from credit block in VKM1.  I then proceed to create a delivery.  At this point, I would like the delivery to block, but it is not doing so.  On the Header--> Processing tab, the Credit Status is "D" (Released).  This implies that just because the order was released, the delivery will not block.
A few questions....(a) does the "Number of days" in the risk category need to be set to zero? (b) does the delivery need to have value to block?   Any additional thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Dear dbrennan,
It is a standard functionality and for your questions
    (a) does the "Number of days" in the risk category need to be set to zero?
    SAP says
The current date is not greater than the Release date + the Number of days specified in the Rick category.
and System is not allowing negative ( -1) date too.
    (b) does the delivery need to have value to block?
In practical, Is the sales order credit check and Delivery order credit parameters were different?

  • Credit Control at Delivery Level

    Hi All SD Gurus,
We have a situation where the customers are creating Sales Orders thru access provided online via the internet.
We want to set up Credit Control at Delivery level so that in case the credit limit is exceeded the system should stop the Delivery if the Credit limit is exceeded.
We are combining the Delivery, i.e a Single Delivery is created for multiple Sales Orders.
Is it possible for the system to be configured to allow delivery of those items in the sales order sequentially till the credit limit is exhausted, e.g.if the pending Orders are for 25 Lacs and the credit limit for the customer is 15 lacs and when we run the delivery thru VL10A the system should deliver sales orders upto a value of 15 Lacs sequentially.
If this is possible please explain how this can be achieved where we are combining the Delivery.
    Regards
    Rajkumar

If you want control at delivery level you do these setting allong with other creditmanage ment configuration settings.
    SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Credit management/Risk management>Creditmanagement-->Define credit groups(02and 03 are the standard groups for
    Delivery and PGI)
-->Assign checking group to sales order or delivery , here you click on credit limit for delivery types here you assign the credit group 02 or 03 to your delivery type.
-->Define the automatic Cradit control with these combinations
    Creadit control areaRisk categoryCredit group(02or03).
-->Maintain the credit limit in FD32.

  • Credit limit check cause the item schedule line confirmed qty empty

    Hi,
I have an SO that is under credit limit check, the problem is, after releasing it via VKM3, the confirmed qty at item schedule line is not taking the qty as of stock at the time. The SO qty is 100 Pcs, but there's still stock of 80 Pcs. I will then need to split the schedule line to 2 lines --> 1st line with order qty 80 Pcs, and 2nd line 20 Pcs. Then only the confirmed qty appear for the 80Pcs.
For usual SO that is without credit checking, the confirmed qty will immediately shown as in 1 schedule line. Does anyone know why is this happening and can we amend this problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi
If an order is subject to credit check once you save the order the confirmed quantities becomes 0 because if the settings done in t code OVB8 Number of the routine used for copying is set as 101and System FORM routine number is set as 1 (and this is the standard settings)
This is kept like this in standard so that if a material stock is say 10 units and order from customer X has come for 10 units and that order is blocked on crediit limit so that when the next order from customer Y has come for another 5 units and this customer Y has a better credit limit and this order is not blocked on Credit limit check then she should not suffer for stocks
A genuine customer should not be deprived of stocks
For you between the order registered and released thro VKM3 another order has come from another customer for 20 units and hence the 100 units has become 80 now and balance 20 is confirmed for a future date thro forward scheduling
In T code OVB8 you can do the customizations for this scenario according to the business requirement

  • Does Simple Credit Limit Check Include Checking for Open Orders

    Hi all,
I have this issue here where I have configured the system to use simple credit limit check with error message. I did not use the standard/common automatic credit limit check since user insist on a pop-up warning and that the order could not be saved. But, I realized that it does not take open orders into account too although I have set the risk categories. Is it true and what solution is there for this issue then.
Thank you for all your help in inputs.
    Regards,
    Yvonne

    Hi,
Please follow the below configuration settings for Simple credit check process.
Simple credit check: In simple credit check the system compares the credit exposure with payers credit limit. The
credit exposure results from the total of the net document value and the value of the open items.
We can set the following system responses at when the credit limit has been reached.

  • Static Credit Limit Check for Sales Orders - Net Value vs Credit Value

We are testing order credit check and we have run into a problem with the Static Credit Limit Check.  The Static Credit Limit Check is set to use both Order and Delivery Values.  SAP uses the values in S066 and S067 to determine what values it uses to check against the credit limit.  Standard SAP uses the confirmed quantity times the credit price to get the order values - this is the credit value.
So the problem is, once an order is released it is set up so it does not go back on credit hold, so anything which is not confirmed (but could be) it a potential credit value which is unaccounted for in the credit exposure and the customer can go over the credit limit.
Additionally, we run AFS and have items which are rejected with a J0 rejection code (unconfirmed) which have the potential of being confirmed and shipped and we want to include these items in the value of the order which is being checked against the credit limit (along with the deliveries, invoices and receivables).
    Here is a quick example.
Customer has a credit limit of $100 (no deliveries, invoices or receivables - to keep it simple)
Order 1 is placed with a credit value of $50.00 but a potential value of $100 (the other half is J0) - this passes the credit check since $50.00 is less than the limit.
Order 2 is placed for $50.00 and has a credit value of $50.  This also gets approved.
At this point, the credit limit used is 100% (based on standard SAP)
Then Order1 backorder is confirmed and the new credit value is now $100.  This order now puts the customer over their limit and if the order had been released would not go back on credit hold and therefore the customer is not over their credit limit by 50%.
What I want is for Order1 to be credit checked for the $100 not the $50 so the exposure is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could use the Net Value of the order to perform the static credit check?  And any thoughts on how to determine the correct credit exposure (open order value plus items which are J0, plus deliveries, plus invoices, plus receivables)?
I am thinking about a Z table to track the adjusted values on the orders and then use one of the customer checks to do a static credit check with the adjusted value.  And for the exposure, use the adjusted value to recalculate the values in F.35 to show a more accurate view of the credit exposure.
Does anyone have an easier way to do this?  Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    Hi Suzzane,
In the scenario that you have provided, in the first order items worth 50$ are rejected. Hence standard SAP will not take this into account as this item is rejected. Two solutions can be provided here:
    1) The line item can have a delivery block instead of  a reason for rejection. This way the 50$ will get accounted. However, if this is against customer norms as this will appear in the order acknowledgment, this cannot be used.
    2) User exit can be used where a credit check can be triggered once the document value changes, even though the document has a released status.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Vinu

  • Open Delivery is not considering in credit check in sale order

    Dear Experts,
Please advice what setting is required for Dinamic credit check at the time Sale Order creation
for Open Delivery & Open Billing Items should be considered at the time of new sale order creation,
I have ticked on Dinamic check - "C" Open Items "C" and ticked on open orders and open deliveries Horizon - 2 "T" but still it is not taking the open delivery amount.
    Ragards,
    SP Shukla.

    Hi
Pls. check your schedule line (delivery date)as you have mentioned the 2 days as the horizon period. If your delivery is falling after the specified horizon period then the credit limit will not be validated.
    Hope this will help you.
