Credit Management_Credit Limits BG/LC.

To explore if Credit limit configuration settings in SD module, can consider the postings out of Spl GL indictor attached to the Bank Guarantee / Letter of Credit. This means, to the extent of debit/credit statistical postings in Bank Guarantee / Letter of Credit, the credit limit to be considered/adjusted automatically for evaluation / order purposes in SD module.
Pl. let me know the views urgently.

Hi...
Credit and Risk Management Run together...
i.e for eg:
If a customer has credit limit of 100,000$ and he purchases material worth 500,000$ and gives a BG / LC for 400,000$ then he is covered by both Risk and credit management and the order is saved. Since - the customer has guaranteed 400, 000 $ via LC and rest unguaranteed portion of 100,000$ is covered by credit management.
The calculation of price is as follows:
Total value = open confirmed quantities * credit price
(In the standard system the credit price is calculated by totaling the net value plus taxes.)
Guaranteed value = total value * guaranteed factor
Credit value = total value - guaranteed value

• Intrastat report Spain. Credit memos posted not appearing in report

Hi
I have a issue where the debit notes raised to vendor are not appearing in Intrastat declaration.
How this debit and credit notes must be taken by Intrastat ? This problem is there since the Intrastat report is being used.
Is there any specific configuration for this or
is there any period check because of which the debit notes are not picked?
The reason is po was created in Feb 2009 and continuous GR and invoice postings happened in subsequent months which are all captured in Intrastat report. A debit note was raised in Sep 2009 which does not appear in the report.
Request your expertise and help to resolve this issue.
Thank you

credit memos are not supported in SAP as you can read in docu:

Please read the local Intrastat guide, in many countries it just says that you have to file a correction per paper form to your statiscal office.
SAP explains this as well in OSS note 374682:
If a credit memo refers to a billing document which was already declared to authorities, proceed as follows:Here, you should create a written correction to the statistical office.Specify a data record to which the credit memo refers.
Check the documents of the statistical offices for information on when you have to declare the credit memo (limits for values and quantities).*********************************************************************

• Rebuilding credit

I am new to the forum but feel I need to be a part of the forum to get advice and more understanding about how to rebuild and keep my credit in good standing. This is where my credit stands at the moment. I had a bankruptcy that finally after ten long years came off last month. I had no credit so I opened the Opensky secured card and the Primor secured visa's. Low credit limits of $200 on each. I was also just approved for a Fingerhut account with a limit of $500, and I have a 12 month car repair loan that I started paying on 3 months ago. They report to Transunion and Equifax only. I just made my first payment on Opensky and only charged $50 the first month/ I still have some bad debt from 2011 on all three reports. They are collection accounts a total of (6) totaling $1,900. I have never made any payments on these collection accounts and would like to know the best way of handling these accounts. The highest one is $600 and the lowest one is $70. Credit Scores as of 8/3/2015 are: Transunion 591 Equifax 593Experian 603 Can I expect these scores to go up as I make on time payments on my new established credit accounts (4) in total? and what should I do about the 6 collection account. I really want to do this right for the first time in my life as I am now 49 years old and have never been responsible with my credit. Thanks Tim - Phoenix, AZ

I'm in the tough love catagory and this is based on my personal experience. The best way to move forward is by fessing up and fulfilling your debt. For years i tried hiding behind the fallacy that i won't have to pay the debt that i didnt make good on and it'll eventually fall off. Well, that's a painful seven year process that will probably cost you more in high interest rate loans. If you pay off your debt, there's a chance the collections agency might even erase the collections account off your report. My credit score started making strides in the right direction after that. All my credit card limits started climbing from approximately $300-400 limit to $6000 (my lowest now) and $15,000 (my highest at the moment). Your 12 month car repair loan, is it an installment loan or a revolving loan? I once had a loan thru Beneficial which i assume was an installment loan but was really a revolving loan and that also killed me because i started the loan with 100% utilization and sometimes going late which brought it above. Having a revolving account close to/at/or above your max utilization is horrible for your credit. If it is a revolving credit line, pay that down/off as quick as possible. If it's an installment loan, you're good as long as you make minimum payments ontime. When are the statement dates on your three credit cards? Mine are staggered a couple at the beginning of the month, and one in the middle. Put all your spending on your credit cards. Since your credit line is really low, you will have to make multiple payments per month. This will show to the credit card company that you need a much higher limit and would probably increase your odds of a credit line increase. On one of your cards, pay in full at least 3 days (or more) before the statement due date and don't spend on that account for 3 days after. So theres a 7 day black out date on that one card and this is to keep your utilization at zero on your credit report. Do the same thing with the second card, spend a lot, pay it down, but keep a very small $2-18 balance on the credit card during the blackout date. This is to keep a 1-9% utilization on that card. After a few months of doing this with your credit cards, try for a credit line increase. Most credit card companies have a "LUV" button on their website which will give you an automatic credit line increase.

Thanks for everyones help and advise. If I can help in any way, let me know. I always read these forums and applied your notes. On that note, do you think I should close out my Credit One account 1.7K, as well as my Citi and Capital One Bank account's with lower balances? This should bring my average credit card limits above $10K on average. I do not use those cards at all, and have no benefits. close creditone and make them send you a letter stating your account is PIF and has a 0 balance - best way to ensure no surprises. I actually called them back before 30 days to make sure no pop up balance came up so they wouldn't report a late charge.

• Intrastat and subsequent credit in subsequent period

Hi Gurus,
how should I manage a situation regarding Intrastat and subsequent credit in subsequent period, so not within the same period with invoice. To be clear, I prefer to give you an example as following:
1. 20.06.2010 GR for 1 PC with amount 100 EUR by PO
2. 20.07.2010 IR Transaction Invoice for 1 PC with item amount 100 EUR
3. 10.08.2010 IR transaction Subsequent credit for 1 PC with item value 5 EUR
When I execute transaction ENPA or MEIS to extract the records for period 08 August 2010, no data is selected for this period. My questions is how should I proceed to consider my subsequent credit which does not fall during the same period as invoice? In case it would be the same, no problem occurs as original invoice would be debited by 5 EUR (100 u2013 5 = 95 EUR).

• What is order management?

what is  order management?
is it a general term used for OTC cycle in SD or something else??
<REMOVED>

Hi
Below are details of Sales Order Management
Internet Sales
SAP Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) provides an e-commerce platform that enables SAP users to rapidly turn the Internet into a profitable sales and interaction channel. Internet Sales (R/3 Edition) offers everything customers need to sell products over the Internet: catalog browsing, product search, shopping basket, check-out, saving and retrieving shopping baskets, order status, and order history.
Field Sales
Mobile Sales for Handheld comprises a broad range of business applications to be processed offline on a mobile device, e.g., review customer information, take sales order via barcode scanning, create and/or modify sales orders, search for sales orders, and view a list of all materials.
Quotation and Order Management
Allows you to create and process orders, including pricing and scheduling order for fulfillment. SAP ERP supports many process variants, for example:
•     Cash sales
     Ship-to-order
     Make-to-order
     Engineer-to-order
     Empties
     Batch processing
     Serial number processing
     Payment card processing
     Third-party delivery processing
     Complaint handling
     Returns
Inquiries
Allows you to create and process customer requests.
Quotations
Allows you to create and process quotations.
Follow-Up Order
Creates an order as follow-up document to the quotation. Copies the data from the quotation into the order and creates two transaction documents, quotation and order.
Automatic Partner Determination
Allows you to automatically determine the partners involved in the sales transaction, for example:
     Ship-to-party
     Bill-to-party
     Payer
     Contact person
     Employee responsible
Automatic Text Handling
Allows you to determine and maintain texts on header and item level.
Pricing & Tax
Allows you to automatically determine the different kinds of conditions, such as product-, customer- and contract- specific prices, free goods, surcharges, discharges, freights, taxes, etc.
Flexible Price Calculation:
Highly flexible engine to determine prices based on whatever criteria one might think of. (This needs to be part of the database.)
Price List:
Customer-specific price lists can be generated.
Tax calculation within SAP ERP allows you to calculate transaction taxes, such as VAT in Europe. For complex requirements regarding tax determination in the United States, third-party software can be integrated.
Payment Card Processing
Works with payment cards, such as credit cards. Copies payment card information from customer master data in orders and other sales documents.
Credit Management and Credit Check
Limits financial risks by carrying out credit checks that can influence transaction processing and setting up a workflow connection to notify responsible.
Credit check evaluates a transaction based on the credit standing of the payer in financial accounting.
Product Listing & Exclusion
Displays a list of products a specific customer is allowed or not allowed to buy.
Product Substitution
Enables the automatic substitution of products in sales documents during sales order processing according to flexible, predefined rules.
Free Goods
Offers free items on the sale of certain other items or takes money off a particular sale to a customer.
Minimum Order Quantity Check
Checks the product level automatically to determine whether a minimum order quantity has been reached.
Document Flow
Provides interlinkages of preceding and subsequent documents for a selected transaction (for example, production orders, deliveries, invoices, and complaints).

• Approved Quicksilver with 3000 CL after EO

First post, long time lurkerI have done a lot of research on line with credit and FICO scores and I have to say, I got the best information and advise from this Forum.So BIG thanks to everyone!!! A little background about me... Until December 2014, I had no credit whatsoever, never bothered to use one. I tried signing up for a few CC a few years back, but always got denied. Exacerbated by the fact that I have almost the same name as my father, so even though I am an authorized user on 3 CC's with excellent credit history, it never showed up on my file; Even now LOL. No student loans or installment loans, my file with the CRA's is probably razor sharp with how thin it is.Started my credit journey with the Capital One Secured credit card on 12/2014 with a CL of 200, a month later I deposited 1000 to raise my limit to a total of 1200. I charge 1400 on the card on average, but always paid in full, making sure that my account only reports less than 10% utilization. On 6/20 CapOne gave me a CLI of 300 On 6/17/2015 I applied for the Barclays Apple Rewards and was approved for 3000 CL. Against my carefully laid out plan, I decided to go on a mini app spree. Checked multiple sites for pr-qualified offers; It was a negative for Chase, Amex, and US bank; but CapOne showed I qualified for Venture and Quicksilver Visa.I remember clearly Quicksilver Visa requires "Excellent" credit, not Limited 6 month credit history with 2 accounts; 1 was just recently approved. Brimming with confidence of my recent success, I decided to apply anyway... I ended up with the 7-10 days letter The pre-qual result was probably a glitch. Not loosing hope, and not wanting to waste 3 hard inqueries, I decided to scrounge "the" Forum for an alternate recourse. Lo and behold, information on the forum led me to CapOne's Executive Office. Sent and email explaining my full situation and my excellent payment record even though I had a short history. I informed them that I had made a mistake applying for the Quicksilver Visa and, if possible, to use the already generated credit report on a Quicksilver One Application instead.Nicole from the EO team got back to me after 4 business days and informed me that, unfortunately, because they are 2 different products (Quicksilver and Quicksilver One) I would have to resubmit an application and suffer another 3 hard pulls. Another option was that she can forward my current app to the Credit Underwriter for a recon and a soft pull. After asking for additional info (ie. Income, Rent, other Investments) I was told to wait for an email on the Final Decision. Yesterday, with all hope lost, I received my approval email for the Quicksilver with 3000 CL and no annual fee!!! Woohoo!!!I wil now be gardening until at least July next year, hopefully by then, I will manage to get Chase Freedom and an Amex Card; Perhaps a Visa Signature Card too, if I'm lucky.So a BIG thankyou to Everyone on the myFICO forums for contributing to the wealth of knowledge and informtion that enabled me to be where I am right now and acheive the results I have!!!

Congrats! In my wallet: Venture 15k; Barclay Ring 12.5k; Discover 10k; CareCredit 7.7k; Amazon Store Card 5k. Total Credit: 66,200. 7/2-FICO: EQ - 788; TU - 777; EX - 690; Utilization: 12%; GOAL: 780 across the board then 800 across the board. Inquiries: EQ: 5 TU: 6; EX 3; Chapter 13 seven years May, 2015. Victor1: Yes, there are a couple of VISA cards that are available through the "shopping cart" trick. One is through Sportsman's Guide Visa (stated in the list) and MyPoints Visa (also stated in the list). There is also a sign up for the Total Rewards - which can preapprove you for that Visa. I was instantly preapproved for the Sportsman's Guide Visa as soon as I signed up through the Sportsman's Guide site. They gave me a $10,000 credit line with no questions asked and it was a soft pull as they only asked for the last four of my social. I was also instantly preapproved for the MyPoints Visa with a $2,500 credit line. Then - as soon as I signed up through the Total Rewards site a pop up instantly came up and approved me for the Total Rewards Visa. I declined this one as I've read of the extremely low starting credit lines. That one didn't appeal to me. All of the above were through instant pop ups. Hope this helps... My current scores: Equifax - 765 TransUnion - 735 Experian - 703 (Goal = 800)+1 I was also pre-approved for the Sportsman's Visa. They gave me a 2K limit. No luck with Total Rewards or Mypoints though.I got the sportman's guide to work for the first time ever, anyone know if they are generous with CLs? I dont want to take it and bring down my AAoA unless I have a shot @ 5k

• Need help..anyone GUI Interfaces

http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=31&thread=472147&tstart=0&trange=15
Can someone please help me with this program..I'm new to java and I don't understand GUI's. I read everything inside and out in my text book and still don't get how to convert my program into a gui interface...please help.

Sorry i accidently posted twice...
But here is my topic incase the link did not work. Thanks! Really desperate!
Develop a Java application that will determine if a department store customer has exceeded the credit limit on a charge account. For each customer, the following facts are available:
a) Account Balance
b) Balance at the beginning of the month
c) Total of all items charged by this customer this month
d) Total of all credits applied to the customer’s account this month
e) Allowed credit limit
This program should input each of these facts from input dialogs as integers, calculate the new balance, display the new balance and determine if the new balance exceeds the customer’s credit limit. For those customers whose credit limit is exceeded, the program should display the message, “Credit limit exceeded.”
Here is the program I wrote : (for the above criteria)
// Credit.java
// Program monitors accounts
import java.awt.*;
import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
public class Credit {
public static void main( String args[] )
String inputString;
int account, newBalance,
oldBalance, credits, creditLimit, charges;
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Account (-1 to quit):" );
while ( ( account = Integer.parseInt( inputString ) ) != -1 ) {
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Balance: " );
oldBalance = Integer.parseInt( inputString );
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Charges: " );
charges = Integer.parseInt( inputString );
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Credits: " );
credits = Integer.parseInt( inputString );
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Credit Limit: " );
creditLimit = Integer.parseInt( inputString );
newBalance = oldBalance + charges - credits;
String resultsString, creditStatusString;
resultsString = "New balance is " + newBalance;
if ( newBalance > creditLimit )
creditStatusString = "CREDIT LIMIT EXCEEDED";
else
creditStatusString = "Credit Report";
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(
null, resultsString,
creditStatusString,
JOptionPane.INFORMATION_MESSAGE );
inputString =
JOptionPane.showInputDialog( "Enter Account (-1 to quit):" );
System.exit( 0 );
AND I NEED TO MODIFY IT TO DO THE FOLLWOING: (I'M A NEWB AND IT'S TAKEN ME FOREVER JUST TO DO THE ABOVE..PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!
Expand the above program.
1) Design an appropriate GUI for input. You cannot use dialog boxes. Design functional window(s) from scratch. State your conditions in the boxed comment at the top of the class. Input will need a transaction date also for the CustomerHistory class.
2) Add a customer # ( a unique identifier)
3) Besides your GUI, you will want 2 other classes: Customer and CustomerHistory. CustomerHistory will serve as a mock database.
4) CustomerHistory will hold the previous balance & allowed credit limit plus any credit violation history. Your CustomerHistory violations must be an array, so that it could be readily expandable.
5) Some step-up is necessary – chose your own approach and document.
6) Then run your system enough times to show the response when a customer exceeds THREE ‘over credit’ limits. CustomerHistory violations should be printed out, as well as, our choice of a ‘dunning notice’. It cannot be the same as a simple one time exceeds limit. Also show a normal customer run. Prove to me your solution works!
7) Draw the UML diagram of your interconnecting classes.

You would need Skype credit or a limited Minute subscription for mobiles in that country, if the world subscription does not cover mobiles in that country.
You would see that you are using Skype credit or limited minutes during the call.
No there is no plan that covers all phone types in all countries.
You may wish to look at the bottom of this page under Prices, click the subscription link and once there, enter the country that you would like to call mobiles in that the world subscription does not cover. You will see Limited Minute plans, that you can purchase for those countries, that will be cheaper than just paying "Pay As You Go" Skype rates.

He has set the approval limit as -500 to 0 for a user X.
Created an invoice for 550 $
Gone to Ireceivables and created a dispute for the complete amount (-550$) of the invoice.
Find that the notification is going to the user X even when the amount is not within the approval limits set.
He is able to approve the notification and it is going to the next level approval.
Once that is done the credit memo is getting created.
Checked the packages involved in this.
ARWCMWFB.pls
Find that there is no checking of the approval limits in the package.
Please help me in knowing on whether this is an intended functionality.

Using HR Hierarchy
1. Define three approvers A, B, C for the same reason code and with different approval limits (as this is credit memo the guy with highest negative amount has is the final approver).
2. A reports to B and B reports to C
3. A is approval limit is from -100 to -500, B can approve from -500 to -1000 and C can approve from -1000 to -1500 (all of them have same reason code and currency code).
4. Make sure all of them are employees.
5. Make sure you **DO NOT** check the flag Primary Approver for any of these approval limits in the approval limits screen.
6. In the employees -- Assignments For A, enter supervisor as B, and For B enter Supervisor as C.
7.No enter an invoice for 1200 and complete it.
8. Request for credit from iReceivables for the same invoice for -1200.
9. Now you can see that the notification will go to B and C for approval.
Using Approval Limits hierarchy:
If you do not want to use the employee setup, they can always, use the primary check box. With the same example as above, check the primary check box for A, B and C.
When you request for credit, first A gets, next B gets it and then C gets it.
If you check for only C which is the final approver, workflow will send only one notification and once C approves it will forward.
Ofcourse, before any of these guys are approving, collector assigned to the customer has to approve.
And after all these approvals one more Role (called Receivable Role which can be anybody according to the WF definition) has to approve before the credit is generated).
Now, I am not sure what the customer wants. Do they want multiple approvals or single approval? If they want multiple they have to use the first approach. If not they can use the second approach.
I did a test case again and these comments are the results of the test. I did this on 11.5.9.
Let me know if you have any questions. Also please refer to the metalink note 284804.1How Does Credit Memo Workflow Notify Multiple Approvers?.

• Bank Guarantee and Cash Credit Limits in SAP

Dear SAP Gurus,
How Bank Guarantee or Cash credit limits are maintained in SAP? How to do configuiration of it?
Thanxs
Regards,
Divyesh.

Hi,
Credit limits are set for the Customers depending on the nature of business, their repayment pattern.
This comes under Credit Management which you configure through Credit Control Area and set
credit limits to monitor the customer credit worthiness and ageing analysis. Regarding Bank Guarantee and letter of credits, they are normally for export customers which comes under Risk and Credit Management in Sales & Distribution Basic data. You refer to SAP pdf searching through Google for SAP's SDBFCM pdf file which gives you total scenario regarding setting of credit limits and Bank Guarantee etc.

• Multiple Credit Limits

Background
I am implementing SAP SD where there are two main separate business in one company. One customer can buy products from both business. Credit limits are defined separate for the same customer as the sales team of both business are different.
Question
a) I am trying to persuade to the client that we should define centralized one credit limit for the common customers who deal with both business. Hence one credit control area will be defined in SAP. Can you please let me know the advantages of single credit limit for one customer?
The only problem business will face is that for example: Customer A was assigned credit limit 1000 Rupees. Business A and Business B gets problem that what % of credit limit they should offer to customer for each business.
b) To fulfil the business requirement of defining separate credit limit for one/common customers for both businesses, i will go for the option of defining separate credit control area and can define separate credit limits. What are the advantages/disadvantages of this option?
c) How to configure multiple credit limits for one customer ?

How many company codes you are defining?
You can follow de cenrolized Credit Management.
Please follow the below link, it will explain you the config steps you required.

• Can we maintain division specific credit limits?

Hi All,
we have one company code & one Cr.Control area.
but we have 2 sales areas.
eg: 1000/10/AA &
1000/10/BB.
My client wants to maintain division specific credit limits like
div:AA- $4000
& BB- $6000.
Total Credit control area limit -$10000.
in FD32- we can maintain customer/cr.control area specific limits only.
Can we maintain division specific?if yes,where can we enter 2 different limits to same customer.
plzz reply asap.

Sol'n: for all those who would like to know, what we have adopted is,
We create Sales area wise Credit control areas & assigned to respective sales area in IMG as well as in CMR.
we have assigned multiple credit control areas to a single comp code
( IMG - FI - AR/AP- Credit Management - Credit Control account - Assign Permitted Cr.control areas for Comp code)
then,
In FD32-
Maintained Customer credit sheet as desired such as
Cr.Control -1 = $4000
Cr.Control - 2 = $6000
But the thing is we have to manually monitor these limits at the time of FD32 creation ( what is max credit limit we are offering, how much is allocated for particular Cr.Control area which means division)
Hope it helps in understanding.
any more plz revert
