Credit memo related Data not reflected in BCT Query

If anyone can help me .
Problem : I have loaded data in 0SD_C03 for sales analysis. Everything is alright and all data except Credit Memo related data are showing . During the selection in query the C/D posting + Doc Categ + Net Value forms the output value for Credit memo but it is not showing . The SD doc categ has credit memo records in VBFA table . Now i don't understand why data related to Credit memo is not retrieved in the query . I am using the standard queries and std BCT objects only .If anyone have come across please share your experience .

Check in your Cube fact table whether you have entries with document category O - for credit memo
If not, ensure cube has the data and your query do not have any exclusion filter dor document category O. Check in PSA also, if not there your extractor is excluding the credit memo records

Credit Memo DFF does not contain information from the original invoice line

Customer is facing issue mentioned in Note: 364999.1
Issue: Created a credit memo against the invoice and noticed that the resulting credit memo lines do not contain the DFF information from the original invoice lines.
I found through Metalink that this issue was reported to Oracle for release 11.5.7.
Looks like the fix was to provide a check box in RAXSUMSC.fmb.
- One off Patch for 11.5.7 - Bug / Patch 2803629 (one-off patch)
- One off Patch for 11.5.8 - Bug / Patch 3411221 (one-off patch)
- 11.5.9 - nothing available !!!!
As per bug 2675652 the issue was fixed in a file RAXSUMSC.fmb, version 115.41 This BUG shows that it has been fixed by in 11.5.10
Customer is using 11.5.9 which has RAXSUMSC.fmb, version 115.40, we cant apply patches for 11.5.7 or 11.5.8 that are available.
Any pointers on what can be done ?

the project code (PC) on the marketing document may only be applied to the business partner (BP), hence the only row in the associated journal entry (JE) with this project code is that of the BP.
You can link project codes to specific accounts (CoA -> select account -> account details -> project code) & this project code will then be assigned every time the account is found in a JE.
If you require the project code to be applied to the freight, you may assign this project code to the account you have defined for this freight. The drawback is naturally that the project code will then be pulled every time this freight is used, regardless of whether or not the PC is associated with the BP or not.
It is possible to manually assign project codes to every row in a journal entry, hence this should also be possible with SDK. You might explore the possibility whether it might be possible to automatically assign the BP PC to all rows in the JE using a script.

Order related inter company credit memo - Order status 'Not Invoiced'
Hi,
We have recently created 'Order related inter company credit memo' process for return Stock Transport Orders(STO). For this, we used order related billing (billing relevance = C i.e. Relevant for ord.-related billing - status acc.to target qty) with standard item category 'G2N'. The issue is even after invoicing, sales order item status is 'Not Invoiced' and header status is 'Open', hence these orders are picked up multiple times during background invoice run and multiple invoices are being created.
How do we control the 'Completion' status in order related inter company billing? VBUP-FKSAA is not changed even after billing document creation and remains as A i.e. Not yet processed. Do i need to check VBUP-FKIVP since this is inter company billing.
I have also tried with TVAP-FKREL as 'B' i.e. Relevant for order-related billing - status according to order quantity but of no use.
Please advise.

Credit memo - Basline date is incorrect

During posting a credit memo (using transaction MIRO), the basline date is calculated regarding the vendor's payment terms and not immediatly.
Is there any way to define credit memo as payable immediatly and not taking into account the days according to the payment terms.

I am looking for an overall system solution and not on a master data level.
I can change the baseline date during posting the crediy memo (transaction MIRO)'
but then again it solves only this particular document.
I want to define credit memo as payable immediatly regardless to the vendor payment terms. just like the FI Logic procedures - In FI procedures (FB65) Terms of payment were not proposed with a Credit memo and the payment is calculated immediatly,
I would like to impement consisitent behaviour with the FI, therfore by using
Transaction MIRO for credit memo , the payment will be calculated
immediatly regargdless to the vendor payment terms.

A/P Credit Memo (Item Type) not to deduct quantity in inventory

1. I purchased an item > supplier gave me invoice> I key in A/P Invoice (Item Type)
2. Found out item was overpriced
3. Supplier gave me Credit Note to adjust the price
How do I key in this credit note via A/P Credit Memo? To my understanding if I key in the a/p credit memo (item type), my inventory quantity will be deducted as well.Because the item is over priced, it means that my inventory gl is over stated. When I get the supplier's CN, I will have to reduce the inventory gl. When I create a Service Type A/P Credit Memo I must choose inventory gl. But this will create another problem - Inventory Audit Report balance will not tally with Inventory gl balance (because i didn't reduce the item price in the first place). To solve this is to do a Inventory Revaluation.

Credit memo value Is not updating in a LIS

My Problem Is O am Creating a credit memo by using the billing Document Directly, with out using any return order,Return delivery. When I am seeing in the LIS Its not showing the Actual Credit memo Value for that customer its showing Zero value. I have done all the Settings for LIS.Pls Let me know is there any specific Setting in the LIS for getting the credit memo value in LIS Report.

Check the stats groups are correctly assigned to the sales document, header, item and the billing document is Relevant to Statistics

Deleting credit memo request is not possible - why?
I cannot delete a credit memo request after cancelling a credit memo because system says there are subsequent documents created for this.
But this is not the case of our regular order - dly - bililng scenario, one can cancel the invoice, reverse the delivery, delete the delivery and delete the sales order at last.
My question here is, why does system allow us to reverse everything and delete in our regular sales - billing scenario and NOT in credit memo requests?

Last week even i encountered the same situation.
You cannot delete a Credit memo request. Instead you have to reject all the line items in Credit memo request.
Make sure you have cancelled all the credit memo created in reference to teh Credit memo request. After all teh credit memo have been cancelled. Go to credit memo request and select all the line items in the Credit memo request and reject the line items.
A pop up will appear select any of the reason and save the document. The credit memo request will be cancelled.
You can see the difference in the Status of the credit memo request before cancellation and after cancellation.
Before cancellation the status will be displayed as OPEN after cancelling the Credit memo request status will be blank.

Allow manual price entry in Debit/Credit memo request but not in STD Order
The same pricing procedure is used for Standard order and Debit/Credit say ZRVA01.
All condition types in ZRVA01 is set to "D" - not possible to process manually in V/06 since business requirement is not allow for manual pricing in sales order creation.
When the Debit/Credit note is created(despite of create w/ or w/o reference to billing document), we need to have the user be able to overwrite the price value, able to delete condition type Surcharge, Discount since in some cases for the credit note, the original price might be too high and we only need to credit the customer for the wrong price.
Question is how to allow 'no limitation' (change with can be made, field Manaual entries in V/06) for all condtion types in pricing procedure but only for Debit/Credit memo request ?Thank you all, but if I create new condition to allow manual, how could I overwrite or delete some non relevant condition type in credit note
i.e. in STD order we have ZPR0 (base price), ZD01(discount), ZS01(surcharge) and we found out that the ZPR0 and ZS01 was over charged, hence, we need to issue the Credit note to the customer, when create a credit memo request, the user will be able to change the value in ZPR0 and ZS01 and be able to delete ZD01 (as it is non relevant for credit note). How such the new condition type would applied? -
File Upload data not reflected in the Layout
Hi,
Using the following how to document, I have written the file upload functionality.
The upload functionality works and the data is saved in the cube. We have a layout to display the uploaded data.
Issue:- The data is not reflected in the layout soon after fileupload, even after saving the data in the cube.
If i close existing webinterface and re-execute it. I see the uploaded data.
Once the data is saved in the cube, we would like to see this data in our layouts.
How do we achieve this ?

When you click on Submit button the file data goes in the buffer and when you click on Save the data gets posted into cube and then the function module release the buffer.
Comment the FM call API_SEMBPS_REFRESH in Save button and refresh the layout, check if you can see the new data in the layout.

Credit Memo related to a Cancelled Invoice

I have an invoice that was cancelled using VF11. I donu2019t want to have the following process flow
Sales Order ->Invoice (with accounting document) ->Cancel. Invoice (with accounting document) -> Credit memo request
How can I do to avoid credit memo request in reference to a cancelled invoice?

in credit memo request business process flow - with reference to invoice or sale order , you create the credit memo request .
this is standard process, why you create the cancel invoice reference . i think it not possible ,
in credit memo request , document setting you can check at vov8 , their is any reference mandatory field can assign , check this , you do not want this filed please remove , based on this system ask the mandatory invoice at creation of credit memo request .

Entry date not proper in adhoc query
Hi,
Entry date field in action infotype ( in the adhoc query) always returns 00.00.0000. Whereas the standard reports brings the entry date properly (This is from prelq.hiredate). How we can bring the values into this particular field.The feature 'ENTRY' returns DATYP but data is not maintained in IT41. System should bring the hiring action date (0000 start date) as the entry date. We want to use this entry date field in the adhoc query.

Please read the following paragraph of the consulting note 508026 :
"Exception:
If the query is started with a key date selection, the query calls
function module HR_LEAVING_DATE with the key date and not with the start
and end date of the personnel action in which the key date exists. You
can use modification note 562031 to change this system response."
Please also make sure, that the corrections of note 561514 are contained in your system.

Hi All,
We removed some Attributes to one characteristic and transported into QA.
The removed attributes are not getting in BEx query designer in Dev, But we are getting those removed attributes in the context menu of that particular Char in BEx Designer in QA.
We checked in the Characteristic level, those removed Attributes are not there in Info object level but still those Attributes are displaying in BEx designer level in QA.
And info object showing as gray color even though we activated the info object, We think this may be the cause to not reflect the changes to BEx Designer level.
Can any one suggest us to resolve the issue.

Go to transation RSRT enter one of the reports and click to Generate Report. If this solves your problem then you can go to Environment\generate queries directly to regenerate the impacted queries.

Regarding Conditions not reflecting in Herarchy query
Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario where i have created query on a multiprovider. In the query designer i have selected infoobjects like <b>region code, Director</b> ... and in columns i have selected <b>mileage,</b> .....i have also selected in the Rows as <b>Expand as Hierarchy</b>.
The query is working fine. But the Conditions i have specified for mileage < 0 or anyother condition reflects only for region level. But it is not reflecting for Director level and subsequent lower level like manager..... In the condition i have selected for all characteristics.
Kindly guide me to reslove the issues.

Depending on the characteristics you have in your report you will need to change the Conditions to look at the mixture of individual characteristics rather than All characteristics in the drill down independently.
Open up the conditions dialogue box and make the relevant section in the "Evaluate the conditions displayed below for:"

We have cycle of material or vendor creation as given below.
New vendor/material creation on portal > Approve on portal > Check in MDM data manager > PI > Check ECC > Table Entry.
In many cases we have found Materials or vendors are reflecting in MDM after approval from portal but not going in ECC.
In some cases we have observed that PI_MDM sender adapter is picking up same file twice. The data contain payload are same in both messages.
While posting these messages in ECC 1st Idoc is successful in WE05 & 2nd is throwing error u201Cvendor is locked by user ABC (our own user ID)u201D
MDM adapter in PI server is occasionally picking same XML twice from MDM ready folder & tries to post both Idocs in ECC at same time, hence at ECC system gives an error.
Kindly suggest the solution.

this can be achieved by the Note mentioned above.
the hierarchy of what locale a component will be shown in the portal,
will be :
1)component- if he have a locale define
2) portal mandatory locale -
3)user locale
4)browser locale
5)Portal default locale
6) system locale
if you check on the prtDefault.properties file you will see
a line with : request.defaultcountry=us . on the hierarchy it is No 5.
on your Portal it determine to 'us', so you can make the change on this
level to uk , that way the default locale will take effect only if
the locale was not determine on a higher level.
and for your question : that way
afrench user will have a french locale. because the user locale locate
on a higher level on the hierarchy.
