Regarding Conditions not reflecting in Herarchy query

Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario where i have created query on a multiprovider. In the query designer i have selected infoobjects like <b>region code, Director</b> ... and in columns i have selected <b>mileage,</b> .....i have also selected in the Rows as <b>Expand as Hierarchy</b>.
The query is working fine. But the Conditions i have specified for mileage < 0 or anyother condition reflects only for region level. But it is not reflecting for Director level and subsequent lower level like manager..... In the condition i have selected for all characteristics.
Kindly guide me to reslove the issues.
Regards,
Mano

Mano,
Depending on the characteristics you have in your report you will need to change the Conditions to look at the mixture of individual characteristics rather than All characteristics in the drill down independently.
Open up the conditions dialogue box and make the relevant section in the "Evaluate the conditions displayed below for:"

  • Query condition not reflected in VC model

    Hello,
    I have a query that has a condition that allows the user to view the Top N of a key figure by entering the desired "N" amount. When I run the query on its own, it works as expected. If I enter 5, I see the top 5 results.
    I have put this query into VC with an input form that allows the user to designated the desired number of results, but now the results do not reflect the condition and just show all the results for that key figure. Any suggestions?

    Hi Ravi,
    Can you please share how did you resolve this as we are facing same problem.
    Really appriciate your help.
    Regards,
    Dipesh.

  • Changes to the infoobject are not reflecting in the query Desinger level.

    Hi All,
    We removed some Attributes to one characteristic and transported into QA.
    The removed attributes are not getting in BEx query designer in Dev, But we are getting those removed attributes in the context menu of that particular Char in BEx Designer in QA.
    We checked in the Characteristic level, those removed Attributes are not there in Info object level but still those Attributes are displaying in BEx designer level in QA.
    And info object showing as gray color even though we activated the info object, We think this may be the cause to not reflect the changes to BEx Designer level.
    Can any one suggest us to resolve the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raju. E

    Hi Raju
    Go to transation RSRT enter one of the reports and click to Generate Report. If this solves your problem then you can go to Environment\generate queries directly to regenerate the impacted queries.

  • Credit memo related Data not reflected in  BCT Query

    Hi Experts ,
    If anyone can help me .
    Problem : I have loaded data in 0SD_C03 for sales analysis. Everything is alright and all data except Credit Memo related data are showing . During the selection in query the C/D posting + Doc Categ + Net Value forms the output value for Credit memo but it is not showing . The SD doc categ has credit memo records in VBFA table . Now i don't understand why data related to Credit memo is not retrieved in the query . I am using the standard queries and std BCT objects only .If anyone have come across please share your experience .
    Theba

    Check in your Cube fact table whether you have entries with document category O - for credit memo
    If not, ensure cube has the data and your query do not have any exclusion filter dor document category O. Check in PSA also, if not there your extractor is excluding the credit memo records

  • Condition not working in the query.

    Hello Gurus,
    When I apply a condition and select the characterisitc assignment as "All characteristics in the drilldown independently", the report is not showing any records. When I apply to one or more characteristics it displays records but the output is not desired. I need to apply to all characteristics.
    please help me in this regard.
    Thanks,
    Aarthi

    Hello,
    Details about the option 'All Characteristics in Drilldown Independent'' :
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/d5/94a340f590a35be10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    This option generally work when you've got just one caracteristic.
    the option 'Most Detailed Characteristic Along the Rows or Columns' doesn't work with the BEx Analyser.
    So, You should use the last option  'Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations'...and you must select a combinaison of caracteristic which define a Key. (like a database).
    These caracteristics must be display in your report...else your condition will have the status 'Variant' (and won't work).
    This way work properly....

  • Report data  does not reflect the SQL Query?

    Hi,
    I have a report which does not seem to be processing all records returned from the database. When I run the SQL Query produced by crystal manually against the SQL Server all data is returned correctly in crystal not. Does this mean my links are not set up correctly in the Database Expert? or is there another issue, I use a Crystal Syntax selection formulae which is based on a couple of paramters to filter the database records.
    Help is appreciated
    K

    <p>I agree with Rahul on checking the record count on the report vs. the record count from the query.  Conditional suppression and Group selection formula will hide records that are actually being returned.</p><p>It sounds like (from your question) that you are using the database linking expert in CR.  You can also check the SQL that CR is sending by going to Database -> Show SQL Query... compare this with the query you are using for validation, this will give you some clues as to whether your linking structure has an issue. </p>

  • Fixed Freight Condition Not Reflecting In DCGR

    Hi everyone! I am having issues with DCGR documents. My frieght condition does not seem to reflect in the DCGR document when I post the goods reciept.
    Here are the details of the condition:
    Condition class - A (Discount/Surcharge)
    Calculation type - B (Fixed amount)
    COndition category - B (Delivery costs)
    I have also maintained the access sequence for this condition but still unsuccessful in getting the amount included in the delivery cost document.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    Do you mean that your Frieght Cost should add to your material Cost? If so check whether you have activated the Accural key in Frieght Conidtions and also Check the relevant G/L account is assigned in OBYC settings against Transaction key.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Results from conditions not passed to Jump query

    Dear all,
    I have created a summary query and I have a condition applied on it. The condition is 'KF' < 4. I get the results of the query. I have changed the Calculate Result As to 'Total' to show the total of only the records that are displayed.
    However I have a jump query on it and when I goto the Jump query, it shows all the records though they dont satisfy the conditions. I want the drill down report to show the results of only those values displayed in the Summary report.
    Is there a setting where I can change to get the required result.
    Any helpful reply would be awarded.
    thanks,
    KK

    Hey Roberto,
    Thank you for the reply. Yes I would also need to have the same condition in the reciever query. However, my condition is on result values in the reciever query. To explain u clearly...
    I have the data as below in my cube
    Material   QTY
    123     10
    124     20
    125     30
    126     40
    I have a summary query for which I want a condition where QTY < 40
    When I enter Material 123;124;125;126 I get the result as below
    Material   QTY
    123     10
    124     20
    125     30
    When I drill down I get the below result
    123     1     2
    123     2     4
    123     3     4
    <b>Result          10</b>
    124     1     5
    124     2     10
    124     3     5
    <b>Result          20</b>
    125     1     10
    125     2     10
    125     3     10
    <b>Result          30</b>
    126     1     10
    126     2     20
    126     3     10
    <b>Result          40</b>
    I cannot apply the same condition in the reciever query because I want the condition to be applied on the result rows. I have created one more formula KF with SUMCT(QTY) and applied condition on that but it still doesnt work.
    Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
    thanks,
    KK

  • Changes to table not reflected in Java query

    Hello All!
    I'm running Oracle J Developer 11g.
    I am quite new to executing .sql commands using Java and so am feeling my way around.
    I used the IDE's SQL Worksheet and created some tables in a database.
    I also used this SQL Worksheet to populate the tables and verified the contents as well.
    Then using Java I wrote some code to issue a Select command to a table, store the contents of the query into
    Some Arraylists.. etc. etc..
    Anyway I then ran the program and everything seemed to work fine.
    Then I ran some sql script to Insert more rows into the table.
    When I do a sql query select * command, my new rows are there.
    Then I run the Java program and the new rows don't seem to be there???
    Now I'm stumped. Am I missing something here?
    Please can anyone enlighten me?
    Any help would be welcome.

    Hi,
    conn.setAutoCommit();Its used when you want to work in a transaction. If a connection is in a auto commit mode then all sql stmts will be executed and commited as individual tranasction. Else sql stmts are grouped into a transaction which needs to be commited by a method or rollback.
    So, after your transaction completes, do return the auto commit state to true.
    or
    try {
    // Connect to Oracle using JDBC driver
    System.out.print("*** -> Connecting to -> " + connectionURL + "\n");
    conn = DriverManager.getConnection(connectionURL,"SYSTEM","PASSWORD");
    System.out.print("*** -> Connected as URL -> " + connectionURL + "\n");
    // TURN OFF AutoCommit
    //System.out.print("*** -> Turning Off AutoCommit...\n");
    conn.setAutoCommit(false);
    stmt = conn.createStatement (ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY, ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
    System.out.print("*** -> Opening ResultsSet...\n");
    results = stmt.executeQuery (sql);
    conn.commit();
    } catch(SQLException sqel) {
    conn.rollback();

  • Conditions in Calculation Schema not reflecting in Purch Info Record

    Hi,
    We are using calculation procedure TAXIN.
    We have maintained Calculation Schema & maintained required conditions.
    When we checked for maintaining these conditions in Purchasing Info Record, (Transaction Code - ME11 / ME12), these conditions are not appearing in the info record. But, the conditions appearing in the info record are not same as those in the Calculation Schema.
    Also, the conditions maintained in Info Record are not getting copied to Purchase Order (except Base Price P000).
    What could be the reason behind this? How to correct the same?
    Regards,
    Prashant Kolhatkar

    Tax procedure condtions will not appear in the info record. for the conditon which is not reflecting in the PO, you may check in inforecord whether there is a check mark in condition record saved for approval; if so it is deleted

  • Date Customer Exit in the query is not reflecting in the workbook

    Hello.
    We have a BI 7.0 Query where we have a restriction for req del date and billing date to show the month of current date - 2.
    We have written 2 customer exit variables and we have restricted the same. The query is working well.
    For Broadcasting, we have created a workbook for this query and saved it under a role.
    The workbook is fine running for the current month., But if the month changes to the next, the workbook is not reflecting the same.
    Still only Old dates are available in the workbook.
    Please let me know if i am doing any mistake

    Hi Karthik,
    If the customer exit variable is of type i_step = 1, ie if it is a manual entry variable as well, then this will not get updated based on teh month of execution.
    Kindly check the article below for info.

  • Query changes are not reflecting in the Workbook.

    Hi All,
    I have modified the query by adding attributes. But the changes are not reflecting in the workbook.
    Do i need to insert the query again in the workbook or is there any option that will reflect the changes in the workbook
    Thanks in Advance,
    Suneel.

    Hello Suneel,
    if you insert the query again, it will work, but it is not the best way to delegate the query changes to the workbook.
    Just open your query from within your workbook (BEx menu 'change global definition') and use the green button at the top left in order to transfer the new query structure to the workbook. The query will be executed and you should see the changes.
    Don't forget to save the workbook afterwards.

  • Condition type in contract not reflecting on to the PO release

    Hi All,
    I have a contract wherein i have two condition types which are set i.e. PB00 and ZM07. Now i've made some changes and removed ZM07 and instead put ZM05.
    This new condition type (ZM05) is not reflecting on to the PO already released or on to the new line items that are being added to the already existing PO's. Kindly let me know what/where to change to effect ZM05 on the line items of release orders.

    Hi,
    One thing you could try is the Update button on the item Conditions detail tab.  Run the selection for B    Carry out new pricing
    C    Copy manual pricing elements and redetermine the others
    "B" is pretty good for adding in new condition types that are added after the PO has been created.
    Regards.
