Credit receipt exceeds Maximum amount allowed
Hello,
We were recently requested to update one of our expense type's "Default/Max. value", also we were requested to have the "Amount type" set to "Error message for exceeding maximum". We have now come across a problem where credit receipts that are uploaded to our system are above the maximum amount allowed and are receiving the error message, these receipts cannot be itemized with personal expense down to the maximum because of the error message, so the users are having to enter these receipts in manually.
Is there a way to keep the error message for the maximum value and be able to itemize the receipt even if the receipt is above the limit?
- Edward Edge
hi
no you cannot.
the only way you can change the system error message as warning and proceed.

Back in Febuary I have seen posts (Jay and Rich's) that there were some solutions coming down the pike. Are there any solutions or what can be done to solve the error of maximum size allowance? What I did was upgrade the initial portal instance with Portal 3.0.6 with the upgrade scripts first. Then import over to a new instance of 3.0.9 with your old content or data. Then, reran the sso_schema script for rebuilding connectivity to the log-in server.

Javax.transaction.SystemException: Exceeded maximum allowed transactions on
Hi,
I receive the following error when restarting weblogic server instance. Same error occurs when re-deploying the package.
I had previously deployed this package OK. Nothing has changed for the jar file it is complaining about.
I have restarted all java processes and even had the unix server restarted, however the same error comes up. I have no idea what to do.
Currently I have no application deployed as it fails every time. Nobody I know has seen this error or knows how to recover.
Please help!

Maximum amount of messages allowed
Please advise what is the maximum amount of messages allowed during the Automatic Message Propagation in Intranet applications.
Are you sure this is a report, and not an extract? If it's an extract there are better tools to use for the job. (SSIS perhaps?)
If you must run it through SSRS, you'll need to shrink your columns widths down to 454.5 / Number of Columns.
It might be worth considering displaying the data the other way, too. -

I am not seeing why this would be failing.HI,
the problem is delimited data defaults to char(255)..... Very helpful I know.....
what you need to two is tell sqlldr hat the data is longer than this.
so change notes to notes char(4000) in you control file and it should work.

AP Invoice - Credit memo - negative payment amount
Hello all,
I am working in 11i oracle apps.
In AP_invoices_all table there is an invoice_id that has a negative amount on it
I understood that it is a credit memo. Can you please explain what a credit memo is and how does it affect a business
Also, when I checked the corresponding invoice_id in the AP_invoice_payments_all table, this invoice has a negative payment amount. What does this mean? How is it going to effect in the journal entries.
Thank you
BobHi.
A Credit Memo can be considered the opposite of a Standard Invoice. It can be due to severeal reasons like, for example, when you claim to your supllier that the price for a certain good or service was higher than the agreed he can send you a Credit Memo in the amount of the price difference. You have recorded the Invoice (let's say $100) for the wrong price and now you will record the CM (let's say $10) for a negative amount being that the sum of the two documents correspond to the correct purchase you have done.
This way, the table AP_INVOICE_PAYMENTS_ALL records the CM with a negative amount allowing you to pay the two documents (the positive invoice and the negative CM) for the net amount.
About the journals entries:
Invoice
DR Cost $100
CR Liabilty $100
CM
DR Liability $10
CR Cost $10
Payment
DR Liability $90
CR Bank $90
Hope this helps,

F110 payment run - split on invoice line item that exceed certain amount
Dear expert,
Now i want to ask is there any ways to configure F110 - payment run to auto checking on whenever the amount of one fi document is more than USD100,000 will auto split to second payment item.
*i have already tick individual pmnt on tcode FK02 - change vendor master data (at automatic payment transactions column). This method will split all fi document under same vendor post with different posting document number.
I would like to ask is there any way to configure auto split on the fi document (if the document is exceed some amount) for payment run.
thanks and appreciatei have put distribution amount.
Let say i put distribution amount USD100, after i run payment run, one account payable document will generate one payment document.
As what i want is- if the ap document is USD 200, then the payment document will generate two payment document.
Coz my enquiry is if the payment is excedd USD100 we need to assign to another tt payment as the TT is only accept maximum USD100 transfer.
Expert, please advice on ur view.
Thanks and appreciate much on ur previous help.

F110/ FBZP - maximum amount paid per Vendor in Payment run
Hi
How do i create payment run where i want to restrict the maximum paid to a vendor per transaction.
If amount exceeds this, i still wish to pay, but to split over more than one payment order
Our BACS payments are now being processed via FASTER PAYMENTS, and there seems to be a limit of £100,000 per transaction per vendor - anything over is being rejected by danske bank
So far example above, if vendor is due 156,000 - i wish to make this payment still to them, but over 2 or 2 payment orders, none of them to be more than 100,000
I have tried several methods via FBZP by using the maximum amount, but none of my settings seem to work so far,
Please advise
Many thanks for your help
TonyHi Tony,
Not exactly the solution, but going forward you can try split the invoices and process it separately at the time of invoicing itself. Otherwise you can try the option installment payment terms, but there may be at least one day difference in payment.
Warm regards,

SQL Loader - data exceeds maximum length
I am having an issue with SQL Loader falsely reporting that a column is too long in a CSV upload file. The offending column, Notes, is defined in the staging table as VARCHAR2(1000). The text in the Notes column in the upload file for the record that is being rejected is only 237 characters long. I examined the raw data file with a hex editor and there are no special cahracters embedded in the column. The CSV upload was recreated but the false error remains.
Any ideas what to check? Any suggestion appreciated.

Where can I set Underpayment/Overpayment amount allowable in SBO2007 PL19?
Hi Experts,
I was checking my SBO 2007B PL15 and in the Document Settings > Incoming Payment or Outgoing Payment, I could STILL see the "Underpayment amount allowable" field for me to key in the maximum under or over payment allowed.
But in same version PL19, I can no longer find this field in the document settings.
Where can I set the maximum allowed for uncerpayment or overpayment for Incoming Payment or Outgoing Payment in PL19??
Warmest Regards,
ChinhoHi,
Very likely that it was another bug on your release. Please contact SAP Support regarding your issue.

Hi All
I was trying to figure out where the amount by which credit limit exceeded is stored and finally came to the conclusion, I have to do an enhancement to BAdI UKM_R2_ACTIVATE. Accordingly I used T-Code SE18 and created implementation under Classic BAdI and came upto METHOD IF_EX_UKM_R3_ACTIVATE~SET_ACTIVE
ENDMETHOD
screen.
Here I declared Type, Internal Table and Work Area of my Z-Table. No error and it activates. When I try to pass LIKP-VBELN, CREDIT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED, CREDIT_LIMIT_CURRENCY and SAV_KNKK_KLIMK (which are all available in the BAdI and which I confirmed by debugging) gives message field unknown and not specified in tables or defined by data statement.
How to get these variables known to the BAdI implementation and transfer these values to my Z-Table. Is the procedure I am following right?
Please guide.
Thanks and best regards
SubinDear Krishnan,
You can find the open deliveries in TCODE VL06,
a delivery remains open unless PGI is done.
And you can fin list of open billing documents in VF05 .
Also + and - concept is like thiis
Whatever is recievable from the customer is + ve
in case open delivery it is -ve because it is not receivable fro the cutomer since you have not delivered the goods.
Hope this will clear your doubt.
Thanks & Regards

Hi, I've several albums in iPhoto that I'm sending to iWeb. Is there any way to get iWeb to automatically update the website as I add/remove pictures from the iPhoto albums? So then all I have to do it update the website on the host server.
