  • CRM project requiring offline adobe form functuonality - at what effort?

I have a requirement to implement an adobe form as part of a larger CRM project.  The users of the CRM application (Sales - Web Client) will utilise adobe functionality while online to create prefilled customer visit forms which they will copy to their outlook application.  The adobe form will then be used in offline mode to record details of their customer visits whilst the sales person is in the field.  The visit details will need to be sync'd at a later stage back to the CRM server.  I have a question as to the effort required to set this up both from an analyst and programming perspective.
Am i right in assuming the creation of the adobe form would not be that time consuming (as we intend the form itself to be relatively straight forward) and the time will be primarily taken up in developing the interface to initially create the adobe form and then to take the data back into the CRM system once the form is completed.
What kind of effort are we talking about
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie

    Hi Satya & sanjyoti,
I am facing a pecular problem in using Adobe forms.
I am able to pass data from webdynpo application, to the Interactive form(using mappings, as mentioned by satya).
But for the same form & WD application, i am not able to pass data from the Interactive Form, back to the WD application.
    My scenario is like this:
I need to show a form, with some prefilled data, such as date, userID, etc. I populate the node in my WD application, & then call the form.
The form displays the above prefilled data. Now the user has to fill the remaining fields & click on submit(Submit-to-sap button). The onsubmit property of the Interactive form is mapped to a onaction event, where WD tries to read the data entered by the user.
The problem is that on clicking of the submit button in the form, the event is not getting called.
If i use a button in the WD view itself, then the action gets called, but there is no data. In short, the data is NOT getting passed from Interactive form to WD application.
Can you please help me out with this?
    Thanks,
    Hanoz

  • CRM report requirement

    Hi SDN,
I got the new requirement to create report in BI from CRM standard report "Progress analysis workbench report" which we can see with Tcode "cnpawb" in CRM with input 1000 as controlling area.
For this report I came to know all the fields are from the table "STMAIN_EVWB", but I am unable to find the related data source to replicate into BI.
Can anybody please update your inputs on this.
    With regards,
    Ganesh.

    Hi
This is the best way as you want to compare your old changes with the new one.....we can do night job to offset the loading performance
If your write a routine in the update rule and refer the old selection, still to refer that for those records it may still take a huge performance load.......

  • Portal CRM integration Requirement

    Hello,
I have Portal system ( 7.0 )and CRM system which are connected via SSO. it is for implementing CRM business package
    I have a following requirement:
    1. I open the portal in the browser.
    2. I login into it.
    3. It should open the CRM BSP application without any masthead. i.e.e NO PORTAL features. it should be like logging on to the CRM system directly via web.
But there are other applications whihc should be displayed in normal way.
Problem is also that the users cannot use some shortcut keys of CRM in portal.
I do not know whether the users are separate for different applications.
I do not know how can this happen or whether this can happen or not:
    Regards,
    Aditya Deshpande
Edited by: Aditya Deshpande on Jan 14, 2010 3:27 PM

    Hi Aditya,
You can't avoid the masthead only for one role (CRM) .  Masthead is shared across all portal roles if that is assigned to your default desktop.
Here are few options in which you can avoid showing mast to end  users while accessing CRM applications.
    1)  When you click on role : open the CRM application (Iview) in to new window . Set the iview property  "launch New Window" to "Display in seperate Headerless Portal Window"
    2) You can create new desktop with out mast head and assign to all CRM user group in Desktop & Display rules.  in this case all the CRM users won't see mast for all roles. I am not sure how it can help in your case.
    Thanks

  • CRM technical requirements

    Hello Friends,
I have been working in SAP ABAP for last 2 years.
Now i am getting an opportunity to work as technical consultant for E-commerce project.
Could you please tell me the basic ABAP requirements for this SAP module.
If you can provide me relevant documents, it would be great.

    Sandeep
Nice to hear the News ! Good Opportunity for you . If you know Java, then you would get more Opportunity for more Contribution.
On the E-commerce Project, you should be expecting more Java Work than
the ABAP.  On the ABAP side, you can expect works on RFC, BAPIs and
       BAdis.
    Thanks

  • How to read outlook mailbox and create corresponding e-mail activities in CRM

    On premises CRM 2013 SP1:
current configuration for incoming and outgoing:
all of the users in our organization use Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook as the incoming
and The E-mail Router is used to send outgoing e-mail that users create in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
    my requirement:
We have a mailbox that sits on outlook 2013.
Requirement is to read all email messages reaching this mailbox and then create corresponding e-mail activities in CRM.
what are the possible solutions for this?

Create a Queue in CRM with the same email address as that Exchange mailbox.
Set that Queue's incoming mail option to "Email router".
Go to the Email Router, confirm that your incoming settings work, then load the CRM settings.  You should see that Queue as an incoming option.
Validate and publish the Email Router settings with the updated Queue.
That will let CRM receive mail on that Exchange mailbox.   And if that mailbox is for a CRM user and not a generic mailbox, change the CRM settings on their User account instead of a Queue.

  • Access DMS document throgh CRM

    Dear Gurus,
Is it possible to access DMS document throgh CRM.
Is there any object available for CRM like customer compalints, Solution provided Excetra...,
Can any one share the doc for CRM-DMS object config.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, but you need to create a RFC Connection between your CRM system and ECC6. SAP DMS itself is not available in the CRM system so the RFC connection needs to be in place in order to use it.
    From the Help Files:
    Integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
    Usage
Integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) lets you link documents from the PLM Document Management System (DMS) with documents from CRM such as contracts, opportunities, and activities.
    Integration
To use PLM in CRM, you require SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) 4.70 and higher. If you want to use SAP EPR 4.6c, you require SAP Note 620160.
    Prerequisites
You have maintained the RFC connections to PLM. For more information, see the Implementation Guide at Customer Relationship Management ® Basic Functions ® Content Management ® Maintain RFC Connections to PLM.
    Features
Integration is only available for the People-Centric UI.
Change markings in PLM documents are not displayed in the PC-UI.
    The following functionalities are available:
    ·        You can use the PLM DMS to link PLM DMS documents directly to the following objects, or to delete the links:
    ¡        CRM business objects
If you assign a PLM document to a CRM business object, it appears in the PLM Documents folder.
    ¡        Sales contracts
    ¡        Sales documents
    ¡        Business partners
    ¡        Products
    ·        Finding PLM Documents
You can also find PLM documents in CRM by the following properties:
    ¡        User-defined text
    ¡        Document number
    ¡        Document type
    ¡        Version number
    ¡        Status
    ¡        Description
    ¡        User
    ¡        Part
For PLM documents, the Creator field in CRM Content Management specifies the Person Responsible from PLM.
The full-text search only searches the document long text and not the content of the document itself .
There is only a full-text search in the document long text, not in the document content itself.
    ·        Jump to PLM WebDocuments as of SAP ERP 4.70

  • SAP BW 3.5 Certification Material  required ? -- Urgent plz

    Hi ,
I  registered for SAP BW 3.5 examination on 10 aug. I  desparately in need of
    TBW10, TBW20, TBW30, TBW40, BWD35 (Delta - Reporting WHM, Extraction, SAP BW 3.0 – 3.5), TBW45 (Business Planning and Simulation)
    material.
If any have kindly send it to anilkumar.bejjanki@gmail   id please.Your help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

These are the sections that would be tested in the certification exam.
    1) Data Modeling --> 8 questions (BW 330 covers these questions)
    2) Netweaver - Technical scenarios --> 8 questions (the PPT that i sent would cover this)
    3) Authorization --> 4 questions (BW365)
    4) Warehouse Management --> 20 questions (BW310)
    5) Extraction --> 12 questions (BW340, 350)
    6) Reporting --> 20 questions (BW305, 315)
    7) BPS --> 8 questions (BW370 or TBW45)
I started my preparation exactly 4 weeks before the exam. I practiced for about 10 days on the system.
I studied 8-10 hours per day and finished my first study just 9 days before the exam.
Then it took for about 7 days for the first revision and I made a second revision in 2 days.
Here is the order of the books that i suggest you to study (if you are planning to take the exam):
    1) BW310 (Don't study Archiving i.e, 11th chapter)
    2) BW340 (Don't study ETL with Datastage and Open Hub service -- not required for certification exam)
    3) BW330 (All chapters are required)
    4) BW350 (FI-SL and CRM not required for the certification exam)
    5) BW305 (All chapters are required.. don't neglect CSS part, MIME repository... though they are quite boring..I studied them...and i got 2 to 3 questions from them)
    6) BW315 (All chapters are required)
    7) BW365 (All chapters are required)
    8) BW370 (15 chapters would be enough..concentrate more on first 11 chapters..I got 8 questions from the first 11 chapters and 13th chapter .. web interface builder)
I suggest you not to buy any certification exam books...it's waste of money. I bought 2 books...and i never opened them as someone suggested in the forums that the questions would come from the SAP offficial training material..I concentrated revising them 2 times rather than taking any practice tests...and in fact, I did not take any practice test also..

  • CRM - Automatic Return Delivery for Customer Owened Repair sales order

    Hi Guys,
We are implementing Customer Owned Repair sales order Process in CRM and requirement is that once order gets replicated in ECC, automatic Return delivery should be created.
    We have following settings done,
    1. Order Type ZREP has automatic delivery creation set : A
    2. Item category has special stock indicator E and and Returns
    3. schedule line category IR has 653 Movement with special Stock E and availability is not flagged.
so in this configuration, when i create Order Manually, Return delivery gets created automatically even if there is Zeor stock (Schedule line confirms the Qty) but while Order gets replicated from CRM it does not because schedule line does not confirm the qty (Zero Qty).
Please advise on this asap as we are in verge of delivery and facing this issue.
    Regards,
    Dharmesh.

    Hello Peter,
Regarding Posting of Goods Issue for Spare Parts in SAP R/3 Materials Management,
The data posted depends on the logistics scenario(s) that you use. The system therefore first determines the logistics scenario defined for the combination of transaction type, item category, service organization, and other relevant information required for the scenario (for example, movement type or special stock indicator in SAP R/3).
Availability information informs you whether the service parts are currently in stock. Each service part item generates a reservation in the back end system, which can be used to trigger an early procurement process.

  • Pricing:Requirements and Formulas

    Hi All,
Could anyone who is familiar with pricing please let me know if there is a mapping between the routines(Requirements/Formulas) that we have on the R/3 system and the CRM system, Requirements and Formulas.
We are trying to replicate the pricing procedures in the CRM 2007 system, but we are having a problem in replicating the formulas and requirements. Kindly help us, useful answers will be suitably rewarded.
    Regards,
    Thiru

    Hi
First create routine 600 in SAP ECC using transaction VOFM and enter it in the required condition type.
In SAP CRM, enter the number in the required condition type.
You can find the file CRMStandardExits.java.txt in the subdirectory lib\userexits of the IPC installation. There you can display how the SAP ECC routines in the IPC are mapped for SAP CRM in Java.
You can find the UserExits.html and UserExitsExamples.html documents in the doc\spe directory in the IPC installation.
Be sure to note the following:
You must implement all user-defined formulas used in SAP ECC accordingly in IPC.
Not all of the standard routines from SAP ECC can be displayed in the IPC System. This is due to technical reasons. You can find an overview of all routines that can be used using the input help (for example, in the CalcFrm(J) field in the pricing procedure).
    Reward points if helpful

  • Formula's and Calculation rules in Pricing.

    Hi Das,
Schema is is set of rules means when ever you run the pay roll driver for eg: US driver RPCALCU0, in selection screen you have to mention the pay roll driver for US u000 in schema field.
when ever run the driver the set of rules executed and according the rules payroll is calculated.
    OR
Each country payroll version supported by SAP has a program called the "payroll driver" that calculates payrolls. For example, in the U.S., the payroll driver is RPCALCU0, in Mexico it is HMXCALC0, and in Canada RPCALCK0. Each one is different, but they share a common core of functionality. The job of the payroll driver is to process payroll functions as specified in a payroll schema. These payroll functions each perform a specific job, for example - reading data from infotypes, calculating taxes, and processing wage types. Some functions process payroll rules. Rules are a collection of payroll operations. Each operation does a small unit of work, such as multiplying a wage typeu2019s number by a rate to get an amount.
Schemas are edited with transaction PE01
    Schema rules PE02
Functions and operations are maintained with transaction PE04.
If anything require let me know

  • Creating Target group

    HI all,
I am trying to create the target group in Segment builder, for which I have done the following settings
1)I have maintained Attributes and attribute set,
2)i have assigned attribute set to Business partner.
3)I also have created Data source here i have maintained
    Origin type as attribute set
    maintained name of attribute set
function module used Cross-selling: function module CRM_MKTPR_PP_CS_TG_READ,and description.
    4)Created attribute list as follows
    Description_______
    Category:Product proposal
    Segment type:Product Proposal and saved.
Then assigned data source and highleted what ever attributes required to display in Segment builder.
    The issue here is:
When i go to Segment builder(crmd_mktseg):
in Segment builder when i tried to create profile set for product proposal the system is asking for Profile set description and Master group.
and i am unable to drag and drop profile set onto staging area and create target group.
can u/any one advice me in this regard/
    Thanks in advance.
    mdv.

    Hi mdv,
For the purpose of creating your target group, the name of the profile set is of no importance. CRM just requires that you do create the target group within a profile set. That being said, when you create a profile set and system asks you for profile set description and master group, just put any words in the description field that is meaningful to you, and don't select anything in the master group.
Once this is done, you will need to drag and drop your 'filter' that you created for your attribute list into the staging area. Then, one very important step (which I missed in the beginning and it took me 8 hours to figure out) is that you need to click on the 'Count' button. Once you see a number on the target group, it means the filter is working. From there you can create your target group and open it for list export.
    Hope this helps.
