CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI  for Address

Hi Experts,
We have implemented CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI to pass the customer address details from CRM to R/3 with the transaction sales.  But Still the BADI is unable to fill the BAPIADDR1 ( on assumption this will be the table for address on R/3 ).   What are we missing / what could be the problem?   Thanks

  • F4 help for address field

    Hi,
In BP_CONT component, for address field I need to provide F4 help. And the F4 should contain the addresses with separate fields as (city.street,country).On selecting the row the data should flow as concatenated manner to the address field.
Please provide some idea to achieve this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Ginger,
I would like to add what Vinamra has said, you need to create a search help through se11 transaction. As per your requirement you need to map address field of the selected row to different fields in UI.
In search help we have IMPORTING(IMP) and EXPORTING(EXP) Fields or parameter.
Lets take a simple example, suppose you have three address field house no, street and city. Now you would like to apply F4 help on CITY field so you need to choose CITY field as IMPORTING and EXPORTING parameter in your search help and other fields like HOUSE NO and STREET as EXPORTING parameter only.
Now following code you need write in GET_V_CITY() method
    DATA:
       lt_inmap  TYPE if_bsp_wd_valuehelp_f4descr=>gtype_param_mapping_tab,
       ls_map    TYPE if_bsp_wd_valuehelp_f4descr=>gtype_param_mapping,
       lt_outmap TYPE if_bsp_wd_valuehelp_f4descr=>gtype_param_mapping_tab.

  • Disable duplicate check for address in customer creation

we use OE_HEADERS_IFACE_ALL, OE_LINES_IFACE_ALL, and OE_CUSTOMER_INFO_IFACE_ALL to upload sales order from third party system into OFS. For every sales order, we would like the system to create 1 new ship-to address and 1 new bill-to address.
However, when the address has been created in OFS, subsequent creation of the address will fail with the following error message.
Duplicate SHIP_TO ADDRESS found for SOSHMI003_S. Please correct the data.
    1) how can we disable to address duplicate checking.
    problem background
Our third party system need to pass to OFS the customer info, address info and sales order info. For customer info, we can use the customer_number as reference key between 2 systems, so we can control if the customer already created in third party system (ie: created in OFS also), the third party system will not create the customer again.
However, for address, there is no such a reference key that we can use, unless we are sending back the invoice_to_org_id and ship_to_org_id to the third party system, which we dun want. we want a one way data flow.
please share us if you have a solution on this. many many thanks.

    Hi Ankur,
please note that only duplicated IDs are being checked during the C4C data migration or migration simulation step.
The system will not perform in the migration workbench the duplicate check logic which considers and weights the content of different fields of the customer (name, address, etc).
    Kind regards
    Bernd

    [skyask],
Honestly, I am not very sure where the JVM is located for the WebLogic 5.1 application server. You probably need to contact your local BEA rep office for support.
The jar file for the JavaMail API is either mail.jar (contains the API libraries) or mailapi.jar (contains the API libraries and all the providers), so I guess if you search the WebLogic directories, you might be able to locate it.
It also depends on the OS platform that you are working on and the WebLogic installation documentation may give a clue or two where the .jar files for optional Java packages are found.

  • Sync is currently unavailable for address book because of wireless sync

I am trying to sync by calendar and address book.
Works for the Calendar but not Address Book.
I get the following Sycn Warning message. Synchronization unavailable for: Address Book because the application(s) is (are) configured for wireless synchronization. Desktop synchronization for the above application(s) will be disabled. click here for information how to disable wireless sync on your device.
Followed instructions to the letter numerous times and it doesn't work.
    HELP!

Are you connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server? If so you can delete one service book on your device, and this will allow you to sync your device through the wire.
To do this go to: Option> Advanced Options> Service Book. In here look for the Desktop  [SYNC] service book. Press the menu key and choose delete.
Now you should be able to sync your device with Outlook. Once the sync is done go back to: Option> Advanced Options> Service Book. Press the menu key and choose undelete.
    Hope this helps.

I suspect that the CLASSPATH settings on the machine that you are using is pointing only to the mail.jar file. If you are setting up the Java runtime environment that includes only the mail.jar file, your runtime environment will not have the mail providers such as the POP3, IMAP or SMTP .jar files.
Point your CLASSPATH to the mailapi.jar file which contains the JavaMail APIs and all the mail protocol providers that SUN supports i.e. POP3, IMAP and SMTP. Try to execute the java command on your JavaMail application and see if throws out the Exception again.

  • Sales & Marketing Online MapIt URL Maps feature for Addresses Google Maps

We recently enabled the MapIT URL functionality so our users can see street maps from Yahoo from Sales Online when they click on the Map it icon associated with all addresses in Sales and Marketing Online.
See Metalink 280542.1 for how to enable this in the Ebusiness Suite.
    Two questions:
    1. We would like to use Google Maps; does anyone know how this can be done?
    2. Our business is in Australia. By default we hide Australia as a county on our addresses. This prevents us from seeing maps for addresses in Australia. Any body know a way around this?
Image for clarification can be found here: http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/90720/0/

Sorry mate looks like it is not straight forward change that you can make to use Google instead of Yahoo.
You may need to use Google Maps APIs and try to build your own URL and update the profile option.
I am hoping in next version of Oracle Apps has out of the box functionality to use Google maps.

  • Multiple sources for address book

Is there a way to keep different sources for addresses separate and discrete in Address Book? For instance, we have our own addresses from iCloud, but I also have addresses coming from Google Mail. We've worked hard to keep the iCloud ones updated and "clean", whereas the Google Mail ones are a bit messier. Is there a way to keep them distinct when importing/subscribing from Address Book? Or, does all the information end up getting merged?

A table storing book details can only be designed like above. Right ? I mean, the duplication of records for one book because of multiple authors cannot be avoided. Right ? I would have had a table for books, and a separate one for authors, and a 3rd one for their relations :
    create table books
    book_id integer,
    title varchar2(100),
    etc...
    create table authors
    author_id integer,
    name varchar2(100),
    etc...
    create table book_authors
    book_id integer,
    author_id integer
);You could also have only 2 tables book and authors (with authors table having a fk column to book_id).
It would depends if the author is supposed to remain unique throught different books.
    - The 3 tables model would allow a single update on author information to be automatically "propagated" to all book he participed in.
    - The 2 tables model would allow to have different information for each participation of the author to different books (but would certainly "duplicate" part of the data about the author)
One can also have even more tables to totally avoid data "duplication".
