CRM-ECC Integration Issue

Hello Experts
I have an issue with data replication from CRM to ECC. My requirement is as follows:
1. There are few countries which have already gone LIVE with SAP CRM & ECC. In those cases, Customers will be created in CRM and the same will be replicated in ECC. The same happens for Quotations/ Sales Orders which gets replicated in ECC.
2. The business requirement currently is to prevent the replication of Customer master based on Account in ECC from CRM system for the countries which are going Live in future. Also teh Sales Orders, quotations which are created in CRM must not be replicated in ECC system & the same must be controlled based on Sales Area in ECC.
I am not sure of which Function Modules in ECC must be checked, so that we can find solution for the above. Probably, I am thinking of going for Z table for maintanenace of account groups and Sales Area in ECC, so that we can have better control.
Appreciate your earliest reply.
Regards,
Mohan

For filtering the data that flows from ECC -> CRM you can set filters in R3AC1, R3AC3, etc.
For filtering data flowing from CRM -> ECC you need to filter based upon subscriptions in SMOEAC. You need to use an inteiligent Replication object assigned to your subscription for this purpose.

  • CRM - ECC Integration

    Hello Everyone,
We are trying to prototype the WebChannel part of CRM 7.0. However, as part of the prototype we'd like to leverage our SAP ECC 6.0 system to connect the CRM system to. But we are not sure what impact does connecting CRM to ECC will have on the ECC side. Would there be any impact on the ECC system? Impact like Configuration change, Data structure change, Enhancement Package change, or anything else?
The admins of the ECC system do not want to see any kind of impact on the ECC system because of the CRM connectivity. They are very strict about this as there are other activities that are happening on ECC system which should not get affected in any fashion.
Can someone please tell me what kind of impact will be on the ECC system because of connecting it to a CRM prototype system?
Again, our mission is the prototype CRM WebChannel.
    Thank you,
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,
Prototyping "Webchannel" is a very broad area and could lead to transaction documents that shouldbe replicated from CRM to ECC.  "Connecting" CRM to ECC is not a single step process but depends on what that connection is intended to do.
If you do not want to replicate anything between CRM and ECC there is no need to connect them and thus no issue with prototyping in a standalone environment.  The first step is to setup the communication path and that is generally safe.  Then, there may be some configuration that should be replicated from ECC to CRM to allow the Master Data to be replicated. Unless you intend to replicate transaction data there is little chance of configuration conflicts.
One thing to remember is while initial replication is unidirectional (ECC->CRM or CRM->ECC), delta replication is often bi-directional. Subscriptions and filters allow this to be controlled somewhat, but there are objects for which this is not the case.
As to whether you should do a standalone prototype, I believe that will depend on your timeframe and what you want to prove.  It is usually better to start with as much actual data as possible and that requires the ECC<>CRM connectivity.  You would not want to prototype only to find out that something like your customer group structure in ECC can not be supported by the Webchannel scenario you want to implement.

    Roy

    Thanks Buddy.
We have some progress. Now data passed from SRM to PI  and now stucked in ECC. The XML file in SXMB_MONI in ECC, shows the staus "Transfer to External Application" and in ECC SMQ2  Queue  XBQRCCR4400000066 stucked with status "STOP".
While dubugging the relevant we are getting the error '"COMMNICUTION_FAILURE"

  • Problem in CRM - CO Integration...

    Hi Experts,
Currently in ECC we did not activated Operating Concern. Our Organization don't required that. But when we are doing CO integration with CRM It is asking to assign controlling area to Operation Concern(COPA). Even though Operating concern component is not activated in ECC.
For time being i assigned the Sample Operating concern to Controlling area i.e. S001. So far i did not get any error in development. even though the curreny of this Op.Concern is EUR. Actually my Company code currency and Controlling area currenty is OMR (Omani Rial).
My question is if i tranport this to Quality & Production. Will i get any error. (My organization doesn't want any Profitability analasys Because we are using BW.)
Advice me how to go about this. Any settings are there in CRM-ECC integration to avoid assignment of Op.Concern.  OR can i use Sample Op.Concern.
    Tks in advance,
    Abhinesh

    Hi Ashish,
Could you please tell me how do we assign the debit memo request to the internal order.
I am creating a debit memo request from the confirmation. the debit memo request doesnt have the internal order number that was created in ECC. And hence, I am not able to post the revenue from the confirmation to the internal order.

SPRO-->CRM--> Define Transaction types--> ZBPD is the transaction type we had created.
And in Customizing Header level, in SEM Planning tab, trying to retrieve the Planning profile created in SAP SEM-BW.
Tried to search in both ways i.e prefixing the 'zprofile' with /prf/zprofile but still CRM system is not reading the same from BW system.
What ever the pre-requisites that are needed to be followed before doing all these, the same had been done in terms of creating the RFC Connections etc but still unable to retrieve the same.
And also not finding any standard content in the form of Planning areas & profiles at BW end after installing the SEM BW component add on in BW system.
Could you pls let us know what we are missing here.
    Thanks in advance.

I meet the same problem, any solution?

  • CRM-GATP Integration

    Hello Gurus,
I'm configuring CRM-GATP integration in our server. I'm facing few challenges while doing so.
CRM team has configured customized transaction types & Item categories in CRM. These ord types & item categories do not exist in ECC system. Also the sales org being used does not exist in ECC side. Still as a part of urgent requirement, I need to configure CRM-GATP scenario for existing ord type in CRM.
I am done with basic settings in CRM like - ATP profile, RFC connections, Transaction type-item category determination, user ATP parameters etc.
When creating order, ATP check is triggered, but I'm receing an error in order: "Message no. CRM_APO 203"
Availability check/information: ATP error log (display via long text)
    Message no. CRM_APO 203
    Diagnosis
Errors occurred during availability check or availability information in the ATP System.
If you use an SAP APO System or an SAP R/3 System for availability check/information, the relevant system issues an error log to CRM Online. The messages of the error log are listed below with the message ID (message class) and message number. If more detailed help is available in the form of long texts, these long texts are listed right under the short texts.
    System Response
The ATP System cannot report any results of the availability check/information until the errors have been fixed there.
    Procedure
You can obtain the meaning of the messages from the ATP System. If you cannot fix the errors yourself, contact the responsible administrator of the ATP System.
    Procedure for System Administration
Follow the recommendations of the ATP System.
    Error Log ATP System: SC1CLNT001
Msg ID /SAPAPO/ATP Msg. no 059 With follow. descript:
No business system could be determined for logical system CR1CLNT200
CRM team is using the Z ord type (not in ECC) for the service part availability check in GATP. From GATP point, I have done basic settings of RBA, requirements profile etc.
Could you please help me out sorting the problem and the solution? Is it really not possible to call GATP from a stand alone CRM system?
    Thansk,
    AP.

    Michael,
Kudos.....you are master... It solved my issue !!! Now I can ATP my product from CRM system.
Now need just a small help, I'm configuring service order scenario in CRM where I'm entering a service name (defined as a product in CRM, not in ECC/APO) and under spare parts, I need to enter my ATP relevent product. ATP will happen to the spare part item and relevent location to be appeared in order.
Till now I was only entering the spare part product in CRM just to ensure trigger to GATP and by working on above mentioned issues, GATP was triggered.
But now I'm entering service product & spare part at the same time in CRM, and ATP check is not happening, throwing some error asking for correlation profile maintainance. Please see the screenshot attached. (line item 10 is service material & 20 is Spare)
Can you please guide on how to go ahead?
    Many Thanks,
    AP.

  • CRM-Sd Integration...Pertaining Pricing..

    Hi PPL,
Can U PLZ let me know the areas which an SD consultant should know/Concentrate fro SD-CRM Integration.
Certain Pricing Procedures and Condition Types which are defined in R/3 are not visible in CRM. lex EKKO
What neesd to be done in this regard.
What is a Supliment Table ??
    PLZ expalin.
    Its Urgent.
    Best Regards,
    Subbzz..

    Hi Subbu...
As you may be aware ECC is a seperate server and CRM is a seperate server. Both are connected only by a middleware. As you said rightly, costing condition types are not having any use in CRM.Numerous issues are to be considered during the integeration...
First for the integeration part we need to understand the real requirement of your CRM application and we need to configure that in ECC.Once its configured we have to download that in CRM which can be accomplished via various downloading objects in CRM.
For Eg Pertaining pricing CRM tax classificiations are  diffrent from ECC taxclassifications(As in ECC we are not supposed to maintain 1 or 0 as the value in customer and material tax classification value) . For this We are supposed to maintain the integeration values which correctly interprets when the document is transferred from CRM - ECC.
Hope my clarification for this hard question is as clear as mud...
    Thanks
    Safeer Rahman

  • CRM - ECC flow

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to extract data from CRM to BI.
Please clarify few doubts related to CRM.
    1. What is the common data between CRM and ECC.
    2. What is the document flow from CRM to ECC i.e. which will be created first and why i.e. Prospects, Contract, Lead, Oppurtunity,Quotation etc
I am little bit confused why CRM is integrated with ECC.
    Needs your inputs.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Bhadri M.

    Hi Deepa & All,
    Thanks for your valuable inputs.
    Few questions,
    1. In CRM, I want to see
Across a Business Partner how many Leads are there, against each Lead how many Opportunities are there with Opportunity status and the Quotations against each Opportunity.
Please provide if there are any tables where all these data is stored. If 2 or more tables are involved please provide the link from one table to other.
    2. Are Business Partner in CRM and Customer in ECC same i.e. If a business partner is created in CRM say 1 then will the same 1 will reflect in ECC automatically ?
    3. In CRM we are having Quotation, do we have even Contract ? If yes for Quotation & Contract status do we need to go for CRM or ECC ?
Are Quotation & Contract in CRM & ECC same i.e. same data ?
Please clarify what ever is possible from your end.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Bhadri M.

  • CRM groupware integr: Mapping additional customer data

    Hi,
we're running CRM groupware integration for replicating CRM contact persons to outlook private folder. This works fine in principle. However, I've got a question:
When taking a look at an outlook contact one is able to maintain several phone numbers, e.g. "Business, Business2, Private, Private2, ..." as well as several mail addresses "E-Mail, E-Mail2, E-Mail3". By default the default phone number of the business parter in CRM is replicated to phone number "Business" in outlook. Same logic for mobile and fax number. Is there a way to replicate the other numbers and mail addresses (non-default) to the outlook contact and provide them under the corresponding fields (e.g. "Business2", "E-Mail2")?
Thanks for any inputs & kind regards
    Wolfgang Mayer

    Hi Praveen,
    do you mean
    - the email addresses maintained in the standard address
    or
    - the default email address?
The standard address is marked as BUT020-XDFADR, the default (standard) mail address (in the standard address) is marked as ADR6-FLGDEFAULT.
    Pls clarify this issue.
    Thanks & regards
    Wolfgang

  • Using SOA for CRM --- ECC communication

    Hi,
We have the following standard CRM ECC update scenarios
    Condition Updates
    Master data sync up etc.
We have ECC 6.0 and CRM 7.0.
We are trying to evaluate a scnario in which we can replace the CRM middleware by SOA services provided by SAP.
Are there any pointers to do the same.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Abhishek

We figured out the issue.  There is a transaction launcher setting specific to MDB that has a https flag.

  • SAP CRM Groupware Integration - Create appointments on mobile phone.

    Hi all
We have implemented the serverside groupware integration with CRM 2007 and Exchange.
Usually the appointments in Outlook are created with category
"CRM_ACT_001". Unfortunately some Mobile Phones (like the iPhone) are not
able to set the category of an appointment.
Our users usually create their Outlook appointments on their mobile.
So we had to customize the GWAdapter to let through all activities from
groupware (without filtering for the category).
To do so we changed the spro entry "Maintain Groupware Object Selectionand Retrieval":
    - From: ACT Categories CRM_ACT*
    - To: ACT Categories *
Unfortunately this causes a lot of problems:
    - The category of the activity in CRM got deleted everytime you change the appointment in outlook.
    - When you set a meeting in Outlook to "private" the activities in
CRM AND Outlook are deleted automatically.
Does anyone had similar problems? How can you synchronize the calender on the mobile phone with CRM?
    Thanks in advance.
    Marco

    Checked the issue with SAP.
You cannot synchronize the appointments without giving an category. On iphone and most other smartphones you cannot chose a category.
Another "contra" of the CRM Groupware Integration....

  • CRM 2007 Integration with Lotus Notes 8.0 (Groupware Integration)

    a) SAP CRM Groupware Connector Relase 4.0 (Installation Guide)
    b) SAP CRM Groupware Connector Relase 4.0 (Administrative Guide)               c) MapBox 4.0 sp 11             &
    d) Groupware Integration installation Guide.
We have started with Groupware connector Release 4.0 Installation guide
    We stucked at
5.3 Installing Lotus Domino Groupware Connector
    Procedure
    1. Log on to your host using prepared Groupware Connector's administrative account.
    2. Launch setup.exe
    3. Click Next on the Welcome screen.
    4. Read the text on the Installation Prerequisites screen and check if your computer meets all the software
and hardware requirements. If yes, press Next.
    5. Select the type of SAP Groupware Connector you want to install. Check if you want to install instance of
Default Groupware Connector Proxy. Then press Next, wait while setup routine detects required

    Now my questions are....
    1. Where will this setup.exe come from?
    2. Do we need to install the things in the same mannare listed above a,b,c,d?
    3. As we are implementing CRM 2007, i hope we dont need install Mapbox.

    Hi Peter & Stephen
Thank your very much for quicke replies.
Peter in one of the messages Martin Dauer  wrote the following recently on Oct 23 08. , so do you want me to confirm once again before proceeding further.
Re: Link between sap crm 2007 with lotus 8

    Hi Naveen,
thanks for your detailed description. This is exactly the way how the Client GWI is getting set up. one little remark from my side on the steps.
The user field are not required to be filled if you use Lotus Notes. this is only for the case of MS Outlook where you can start the synch from the OL Screen as well.
The password field is not used with either groupware system. So you leave it blank and with the first replication run you are asked to type (and maybe save) your password. it is there as the application is shared with Mobiel sales as well and therfore we could not get rid of it.
    Supported platforms
In general both the server and client GWI were tested with Lotus 8.0 and CRM 7.0.
For server GWI Domino 8 is already supported for greater CRM 5.0, so should work with LD 8.0.
The installation guide for GWI is available here ...

  • CRM-COPA integration

    Hi
I have a couple of requirements for CRM-COPA integration
    1. The CRM system captures no of service calls attended by our franchises. This pertains to equipment maintenance. I want to flow this data to COPA i.e. the no of calls serviced by each franchise
    2. When the CRM posts the service revenue to COPA, it uses RFC and posts automatically.. But, in the COPA document, the service material used in CRM is not captured... How can I populate this?
    3. The consumables consumed during the service are also posted to R/3 using RFC. This triggers transaction MB1A-201 Mvt Type... I am posting this to cost ctr as well as to COPA simulataneously... i.e. statistically to cost ctr and real posting to COPA... I want to capture the MM Storage location field into one of chars of COPA.. How can I achieve this
    Thanx in anticipation

    Hi Eugene
The issue is only one.. I have used bullet points as 1,2,3 for beter understanding of people......
I cant post three threads where one single question is broken into 3 parts.as people wont be able to understand the whole issue
What you said looks better in letter, but not in spirit.... All the 3 points are inter related, though the question is one
