Hi All,
Tx: ST03N gives the work load statistics in CRM. i need to create a cube in BW for the same crm statistics reporting.
on which tables do i need to create data source in crm for extraction. or is there any sap extractor which i can use.
please advice.

CRM orders and Confirmations

Hello Guys,
I need some clear understanding about the reporting on CRM Orders and Confirmations cube. I guess I am a bit confused now.
In the scenario that we have, there are service orders created and when the work on the order is done, confirmation is created. We need reporting on whether the order was completed on time based on SLA.
But the problem is that the status on the service order is not always set to completed when a confirmation is made and there is a custom defined "User Status" that is set. So how do I look at the information on Confirmations as to when it was done, and relate it to the service order?
There is a BC report of "Delayed Orders" but I am not sure how an order is determined to be delayed? If anyone has worked on this, Please share the information. I am thoroughly confused.

well, the regular extractor does bring some statuses, so I would verify that first.
we extract both Header and Line statuses but there is a logic on the CRM side that makes sure that when the call is closed on the header it is also closes all the lines.
but if a line was closed it does not affect the header status.
here is an example of how we enhanced our extractor - 0crm_srv_process_i:
Pick up SP line's system status, get only the largest stat code
in the range if there are multiple sys stats
the wanted stats are Open, In Process, Released, Completed
 SELECT stat
 INTO l_struct-zzsys_status
 FROM crmv_index_jest
 WHERE item = l_struct-item_guid
 AND inact <> 'X'
 AND stat in ('I1002','I1003','I1004','I1005')

CRM Sales and ECC Delivery and Billing cube ods info

We have already activated the ODS( OCRM_SALO) and the cube(OCSAL_CO3) for the sales order item level info and loaded data from the CRM system.
Our next aim is to load the delivery and Billing data from the ECC( or ERP). This is where we are a little confused.
We see a lot of ODS in the info area CRM> ERP Analytics> Sales and Distribution Analysis SAP R/3 SD
Not sure which ODS object and Cubes to activate and load.
Any help will be rewarded.

You can use BADI CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI method crm_dataexch_after_bapi_fill.
In this method the field REQ_DLV_BL in internal table ct_bapischdlx can be cleared when CRM sends a delivery block with value space. When this field is cleared this means for ERP: Do not takeover delivery block and run the logic to determine the delivery block (including from material status).
Please bear in mind that this will lead to a system behaviour that a value of space for delivery block cannot be transferred anymore from CRM to ERP. This means the delivery block cannot be reset anymore from the CRM side, it can only be removed in ERP. If you use data exchange scenario A, it should not be a problem for you as the sales order can also be changed in ERP and thus the delivery block can be removed in ERP.

Extracting PAGEID and Text Description from Statistics cube

Hi SDN Community,
Can anyone please confirm that the following approach to extract the PAGEID and its text is the only way to do so:
As i cannot find the PAGEID field in any of the 0BW* statistics cube, we will create an infoobject and add it to one of the cubes.
Then Map PAGEID from RSDDSTAT to Field: OBJID from Table RSZWOBJTXT
(This mapping between the tables RSDDSTAT and RSZWOBJTXT can then be used to retrieve the web page description from the field TXTLG)

Workload and Performance Statistics

Hi Experts,
I am viewing Tcode 'ST03' - Workload and Performance Statistics. In the Memory View of ST03 I see a row with a report called 'Upd Ctrl'. Now this is neither a report or a transaction in our system. However it is consuming some dialog steps.
Any idea what is it?

How long have you been runnign the EWA reports for the systems int he solution?
The reason I ask is that it tskes 4 weeks to build short term history and 12 weeks to build mid-term history.
History is used for trending.
It may be possible that what you are missing is the history and the trending cannot be generated until there is 4 weeks
history. If at 4 weeks you still don't have trending there may be some other issue, but if you just started, and have not had at least 4 weekly runs, you just may not have accumulated the history to provide trending data yet.
Hope this helps. If not, have you examined the EWAfS at the Service Session level, as therer may be more information
there to illumonate the problem?

BW Statistics cube

Hi All,
I have one issue related to doubling key figure results in the query. The cube data initially had deleted and reload the data. So I am straggling how to shown the Key figure double value. We are not able to reproduce the issue. I came know with BW Statistics we can check how loaded the data to the cube on that time and day and also about query Performance. Please let me know which BW Statistics cube I want to use and also let me know about characteristics and key figures.

Hi,
In ST03N Trnx -> goto BI workload from left hand menu and select the period (day/week/month) -> double click on the date (in case of day folder) - you will get analysis view in left bottom -> You can see Query Runtimes selected.
On the center of the screen -> first column is infocube -> (above it) click on aggregation -> select query -> you can find the queries total runtime under Total Runtime(s).
By following the above process, you can find out the query performance and also the cube statistics as well.

Performance Problems - Index and Statistics

Dear Gurus,
I am having problems lossing indexes and statistics on cubes ,it seems my indexes are too old which in fact are not too old just created a month back and we check indexes daily and it returns us RED on the manage TAB.

Solution steps I mentioned in my previous reply itself explains so called RE-ORG of tables;however to clarify more on that issue.
Occasionally,ORACLE Cost-Based Optimizer may calculate the estimated costs for a Full Table Scan lower than those for an Index Scan, although the actual runtime of an access via an index would be considerably lower than the runtime of the Full Table Scan,Some Imperative points to be considered in order to perk up the performance and improve on quandary areas such as extensive running times for Change runs & Aggregate activate & fill ups.
Performance problems based on a wrong optimizer decision would show that there is something serious missing at Database level and we need to RE_ORG the degenerated indexes in order to perk up the overall performance and avoid daily manual (RSRV+RSNAORA)activities on almost similar indexes.
For Re-organizing degenerated indexes 3 options are available-
1) DROP INDEX ..., and CREATE INDEX 
2)ALTER INDEX <index name> REBUILD (ONLINE PARALLEL x NOLOGGING)
3) ALTER INDEX <index name> COALESCE [as of Oracle 8i (8.1) only]
Each option has its Pros & Cons ,option 2 seems to be having lot of advantages to
Advantages- option 2
1)Fast storage in a different table space possible
2)Creates a new index tree
3)Gives the option to change storage parameters without deleting the index
4)As of Oracle 8i (8.1), you can avoid a lock on the table by specifying the ONLINE option. In this case, Oracle waits until the resource has been released, and then starts the rebuild. The "resource busy" error no longer occurs.
I would still leave the Database tech team be the best to judge and take a call on these.
These modus operandi could be institutionalized for all fretful cubes & its indexes as well.
However,I leave the thoughts with you.

Which Event Classes i should use for finding good indexs and statistics for queries in SP.

Dear all,
I am trying to use pro filer to create a trace,so that it can be used as workload in
"Database Engine Tuning Advisor" for optimization of one stored procedure.
Please tel me about the Event classes which i should use in trace.
The stored proc contains three insert queries which insert data into a table variable,
Finally a select query is used on same table variable with one union of the same table variable, to generate a sequence for records based on certain condition of few columns.
There are three cases where i am using the above structure of the SP, so there are three SPS out of three , i will chose one based on their performance.
1) There is only one table with three inserts which gets into a table variable with a final sequence creation block.
2) There are 15 tables with 45 inserts , which gets into a tabel variable with a final
sequence creation block.
3)
There are 3 tables with 9 inserts , which gets into a table variable with a final
sequence creation block.
In all the above case number of record will be around 5 lacks.
Purpose is optimization of queries in SP
like which Event Classes i should use for finding good indexs and statistics for queries in SP.

You can use the "Tuning" template to capture the workload to a trace file that can be used by the DETA. See

If you are capturing the workload of a production server, I suggest you not do that directly from Profiler as that can impact server performance. Instead, start/stop the Profiler Tuning template against a test server and then script the trace
definition (File-->Export-->Script Trace Definition). You can then customize the script (e.g. file name) and run the script against the prod server to capture the workload to the specified file. Stop and remove the trace after the workload
is captured with sp_trace_setstatus:
DECLARE @TraceID int = <trace id returned by the trace create script>

How to create a copy cube from Business content statistics cube

Dear Experts,
I got a requirement to create the new cubes which is a copy of Business content statistics cubes.
Request you to let me know how can i create a copy cube from Business content cube. My doubt is,weather is't the same as normal customized cube creation by giving copy from option.....

for copying the cube whose copy is to be made should be available in infoprovider tab in modelling of RSA1.
first you have to install the business content cube ,so that it is found in the Info-providers tab in modelling .
for that,first go to business content option found in the modelling tab of t-code RSA1 .
find the cube and transfer it to the right and execute . It will be available in infoprovider tab of modelling .
then you can create a copy as we do normally .

Is it possible to Enhance 0TCT_C* BI Statistics Cubes

Dear SDN's,
We successfully installed BI Statistics Cubes in our BI 7.0 system.
But we want Costcenter to be avilable in all the BI Statistics Reports.
Is it possible to enhance all 0TCT_C* cubes with costcenter.
Are we need to do enhancement for virtual cubes also i.e 0TCT_VC* (or) only enhancement to 0TCT_C* Cubes

I added costcentre as a navigational attribute to 0TCTUSERNM and made a transfer routine to Costcentre.
My client wants to see which user belongs to which costcentre and how much frequency he using the cubes or queries.
Please let me know which is the best option
(1) adding as a navigational attribute to info object
(2) enhancing and coding the 0TCT_C* cubes,

Statistics cubes datasources

hello everyone . thanks for ur help earlier. i have assigned poins too .
i have problem . i have installed bw statistics cubes .i can see them modeling . i went to rsa5 selected tct nd the datasources transfred the datasources . i went to rsa6 and find the datasources are avalible. i have replicated them through ss.when i want to assign a datasource fro the infosource. i cant find the realavent datasources .instead it shows me all the other ds avalible. plz can anyone help me how to assign assign the datasources . how to find the ds for infosources.points will be rewarded. thanks in adavnce to you all

Hi,
I guess that you have installed statistics cubes from the business content with Grouping option = 'Only necessary objects'. Try to install them again. This time with Grouping = 'In datafow before and afterwards'. It will create infosources which you'll be able to assign to DS.

BW statistics cubes having data like earlywatch report?

Trying to create reporting similar to the snapshots on the earlywatch report section 2. Looking through the statistics cubes but have not found the items below. Any suggestions on where I might find these? Since earlywatch recognizes changes since last report run I am assuming this data is stored in tables somewhere?
The following table shows the relevant performance indicators in various system areas.

sorry for your manager, but in order to have this kind of information (look at this std cube http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/52/e91c3b85e6e939e10000000a11402f/content.htm ) you have to activate the BW statistics recording BEFORE (as you can read in the file I suggested you in the previous answer)...but this can be useful for the future!

BW statistics cube "BW Data Slice"

Hi,
What is the use of the Statistics cube "BW Data Slice(0BWTC_C06)". I see that same datasource used for both the datargets BW Data Slice and Requests in the InfoCube (0BWTC_C07) but the standard infopackage selects only 0BWTC_C07 for update.
Also can anyone point me to some documentations where I can get the defination/meaning of the key figures for the Statistics multiprovider (0BWTC_C10). I have a requirement where I have to create custom statistics queries to report on overall BW performance, so I need to know what those key figures represents.

BW statistics cube load does not finish

Hi Friends,
The BW statistics cube 0BWTC_C04 does not finish load for hours in the first run. It will be in running status. When we delete the request by forcing the status to red and run the load, it finishes sucessfully in minutes. It is happening for last 2 months daily. Any clue why this is happening and how to correct it?

We are dropping and recreating the indices everytime we load. We are doing this through Process chain. We did drop the cube (deleted all the data) and reloaded, after 2nd run again the issue appeared.
