Hi there,
I try to make applet to load and it's methods are to be executed from JavaScript.
Current i have solve the part where the applet can be load onto the browser regradless of the browser or the platform. This was solved using the html converter provided by the jdk2 1.4.2 .
However, i can't find a fact or prove so far that the html code will allow clients with older jre than 1.4.2 to load the applet. But i did try to use a older jdk to access the applet. And fine it did ask me to install a newer version of the jdk.
I used the html converter from jdk 1.3 and use a browser with a high jdk, the end result was the applet wasn't loaded. Furthermore it asked to install the jdk 1.3
The big question : Is there any way ... of making html code that allows all clients from various browser and platform to run the applet provided that their jdk is equal or higher that jdk 1.2 ? AT the same time, it will not prompt the client to install the jdk 1.2 if he/she has a higher jdk

Yes, I got this too when I tried that. I've analyzed the source for appserv.class. What Sun did was sneak in lots of classes into the tail end of the file and this class loads from itself. It's a ClassLoader. I don't see why they did this when they could have used a .jar. To look at debugging output, you can put the following command line flags on: -Dwizard.debug=true -Dwizard.debugClassLoading=true. Kind of interesting actually. To chase this further, one could hack the decompiled source to spit out the class files as it loads them so that they could be decompiled further, especially looking at the Linux implementation. Hopefully it could be stubbed out to work satisfactory enough.
What I've done to get the J2EE.jar is rummage through the "packages" directory. I found both SUNWascmn.zip and SUNWasu.zip to have useful libraries. I also observed the libraries end in .jar.pack. The PackageFormat.jar file contains 2 classes, one for packing and one for unpacking. Check out the class sun.tools.pack.Unpack. It'll display usage. I ran this against some jar.pack's of interest to me, notable j2ee.jar.pack of course and it decompressed it. By the way, the pack format is JSR 200 http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=200 which is supposedly in Java 1.5.

But yeah... it really pisses me off that Sun doesn't seem to acknowledge Mac OS X as a Java platform for the language they developed to be cross platform. What irony!

Whatever you read about iTunes is wrong unless you're actually referring to feature movies, not videos. Videos, apps, music and iBooks you can re-download:

Download to your computer and then sync to your iPod touch whatever will fit.
And no, I can't say with certainty that they won't give you a refund, but it's unlikely. The most probable outcome, if you do indeed mean movies, not TV shows or other videos, is that they would set up an additional download. For other content they'll probably just direct you to the same instructions on re-downloading I just posted.

PHones can only be unlocked from the carrier; if you're looking for an unlocked device I'd recommand buying it directly from Apple as that is the only way to promise it is, if you buy it second hand you may find it is locked to a carrier who doesn't support unlocking, or worst yet activation lock

Getting this error message as of this morning: The version of iOS on “iPad” does not match any of the versions of iOS supported for development with this installation of the iOS SDK. Please restore the device to a version of the OS listed below, or update to the latest version of the iOS SDK. I've downloaded the latest SDK and gone through the usual turn off and turn on again for iPad and computer, removed and reinstalled the iPad from Organizer and have no idea how to make apps build now. Okay these are the steps I took to solve the problem - they may not be the right ones for you but they've solved the problem and saved time hunting for some other solution. Firstly I changed my MAC system to Lion with the £20 download, then I deleted the old Xcode and installed the new version that is app based and doesn't support Snow Leopard, then all was well. I can now update my xcode via the app which is quicker and more logical and can update my iPhone rather than chug along avoiding updates as I need to update my existing apps on the app store and upload a new one.

First, it's not possible. You cannot attach a primary site to an existing CAS.
Primary sites in 2012 are *not* the same as primary sites in 2007 and a CAS is 2012 is completely different from a central primary site in 2007.
CASes cannot manage clients. Also, primary sites are *not* used for delegation in 2012. As Torsten points out, multiple primary sites are used for scale-out (in terms of client count) only. Placing primary sites for different organizational units provides
no functional differences but does add complexity, latency, and additional failure points.
Thus, as the others have pointed out, your premise for doing this is completely incorrect. What are your actual business goals?
As for the IP Addressing, that depends upon your networking infrastructure. There is no way to configure ConfigMgr to use different interfaces for different types of traffic. You could potentially manipulate the routing tables in Windows but that's asking
for trouble IMO.

Here’s the story: We learned a while back that iPhone 3G doesn’t support charging “via FireWire.” The thing is, there are lots of devices out there that don’t actually have a FireWire port, but are technically FireWire chargers because they’re sending power on the dock-connector pins that were used for power by the FireWire interface. Since cars provide 12 volts of power, many if not most car-chargers used the FireWire method to send power.
However, in the interests of space and simplicity (i.e., not having to engineer for two separate power paths), Apple has dropped support for FireWire charging with the iPhone 3G. This means that many accessories won’t charge an iPhone 3G. Borchers said that Apple gave accessory developers a strong hint that this was going to happen a while ago, but he said that some companies have continued to implement FireWire-based chargers despite the warning.

For Single Edition, no. Single Edition is iPad only.
For multi-folio viewers, here's info from a help article: "The iPhone 3GS, 4, and 4S models as well as the iPod Touch (Generation 4 and later) are supported for DPS. The iPhone 3G is not supported."

Creating a function based index creates a hidden virtual column (you'll see it if you query user_tab_cols) and once you index a virtual column you can no longer shrink the table:orcl> create table t1(c1 number,c2 as (c1 * 2)) segment creation immediate;

iPhoto doesn't scan anywhere. It imports files offered to it. If it spots a duplicate it will warn you.
