Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office 2010

Is there a version of Crystal Rpts that works with 2010 versions of Excel and Access?  We're using Crystal v. 9.0 now.

Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 and the next full release of Crystal Reports Designer will support the new Office file types.
No plans to add the ability to older products.
Thank you

  • Migrate  to  internet explorer 8  and microsoft office 2010

    Hi  Guru,
We  want  to  migrate  to  internet explorer 8  and  microsoft office 2010 .
Is it  compatible with  adobe interactive forms ?   did we install  a  new sap note ?
    o
    Thanks a lot

compatiblity of adobe interactive forms has no relation of which IE version, which MS office version you are using/migrating.
it only concerned with which Adobe reader, Adobe Livecycle designer, ADS version you are using.

  • How do I resolve a confict between Acrobat X Pro and Microsoft Office 2010 running on a W7 Pro 32bit

After I use Acrobat X Pro, and particularly if I have Acrobat X Pro running, the Microsoft Office 2010 programs (Outlook, Excel and Word) become very unstable.
Outlook has a real tendency to crash when I try to add a file attachment to an email.
Word gets mad while trying to find files across a local network.
and Excel almost always crashed while shutting down (the Excel program).
The problem is getting worse (more frequent crashes) as time goes by.
I am not "pointing the finger" at any specific software. I'm just looking for some things to try to resolve my problem with my setup.
If this is the wrong forum for this question I humbly beg your forgiveness (providing you give me a suggestion as to where I should go for help).
    Jim

I'm having the exact issues, I guess adobe does not monitor these forum and assist their customers.

  • Installation Malfunction (Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2010)

I was uninstalling the program from my computer so I could clean it out completely and while I was uninstalling it the computer shut down (got unplugged) and then when I turned it back on it wouldn't let me finish uninstalling it. I tried to reinstall it
and it says I couldn't because it was still on there, and wouldn't let me uninstall it either. I uninstalled every part of it but the actual file "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010" and it will NOT allow me to uninstall it. When I click on
it a message pops up saying "The language of this installation package is not supported by your system."
I have a 2009 or 2010 Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista. I have enough space on my computer for the program and no viruses. I've been trying to reinstall this program all day, can someone please help me?

Your last uninstallation is not completed, and you are left with a partially Office 2010 on your computer. I would suggest you to use Microsoft Fix it tool to remove any Office 2010 traces。
For details, please refer to this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179  (This article explains how to uninstall 2003, 2007 or 2010 Microsoft Office suite by using Fix it, if you cannot uninstall it by using the
Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features
    feature in Control Panel.)
Please have a try and let’s know if it works for you.

  • Export from reports and Excel Office 2010

OBIEE 11.1.1.6.6 apparently does not support export to MS Office 2010... Anyway to make it export in correct format?  I can read the files upon open from export, but often the formatting is pretty messed up.

I have no choice in excel.  It says exporting as 97-2003. PPT has a choice of 2003 and 2007+  I am not exporting as PPT.

  • PSE 8.0 and Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit

    Good day,
I recently upgraded my Office version from 2007 32-bit to 2010 64-bit.  Originally, PSE integrated fine with Outlook 2007 and I had no problems.  However, now, when I attempt to email from within PSE, it does not work.  Instead, I get an error message that states "Either this is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client".
I have verified that Outlook is setup as the default mail client.  Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?
    Thanks for your help!

I have an OfficeJet 6500 709n and was able to automatically duplex print with Windows 2003 no problems.  I upgraded to Windows 2010 and now it won't see the automatic duplex printing.   I can only select single page printing and manual duplex printing.  Any ideas what I need to correct????  HELP PLEASE!!

    Hello,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
    Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

  • I downloaded the latest Microsoft Office 2010 plugin. The Plugin Check page still lists it. Why?

The Plugin Check page listed Microsoft Office 2010 with a research button. I clicked and i was taken to a page where I would download the Microsoft 2010 plugin. I believed that I did (along with a bunch of unnecessary garbage). I went back to the Plugin Check page and Microsoft Office 2010 was still there. Why?

Mozilla only stores details about the latest version of a small number of plugins, these being the most widely used plugins such as Flash and Adobe Acrobat. For those plugins the scan will show if you have the latest version.
For others plugins, including the Microsoft Office plugin, Mozilla does not have details of the latest version and instead it will display a Research button, that when clicked will perform a Google search. It will display the research button even if you have the latest version of the plugin.

  • I want to open an excel file from a folder in the Microsoft live office on Hotmail. Their instruction is to go to tools in Firefox, go to plug-ins and then install Microsofts Office 2010. Can't find plug-h. Help?

I have uploaded an excel file from my desk top to the Windows Live (HOTMAIL?) office suite. When I try to open the file I get an error that says my system is not supported. My system passes all of the listed criteria except for one. That is a plug in from Firefox. The instructions say to go to the Firefox menu, click on tools then plug-ins. Of course when I go to tools plug-ins is not immediately available, but when I do go to plug-ins, I am to click on Microsoft Office 2010. This plug in is supposed to allow earlier versions of office documents to be viewed as well as Office 2010. The plug-in is not available. When I search the Firefox website I am not able to find such a plug-in.
I am using Microsoft XP, Office 2007 and the version of Firefox prior to V4. V4 does not support all of my e-mail clients so am not able to use V4.

I am using Microsoft XP, Office 2007 and the version of Firefox V4 but I have this same problem.

    Regards
    Raghavendar

    Hi Raghavendar,
Generally, when you install Lync 2013 in the computer with Office 2010, a Lync Meeting Add-in will be installed and enabled in Outlook 2010. Please follow these steps to check it:
    1. In Outlook, click the File tab, click Options, and then click
    Add-Ins.
    2. Please take one of the following actions:
If the add-in is in the Inactive Application Add-ins list, follow these steps:
    a. In the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog box, click
COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
    b. Click to select the check box next to the add-in, and then click OK.
The New Online Meeting button should now be available in
Calendar View, and the Online Meeting button should be available when you create a new calendar item.
If the add-in is in the Disabled Application add-ins list, follow these steps:
    a. In the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog box, click
Disabled Items, and then click Go.
    b. Select the add-in, and then click Enable.
    c. Restart Outlook, and then verify that the add-in is displayed in the
    Add-ins dialog box.
The New Online Meeting button should now be available in
Calendar View, and the Online Meeting button should now be available when you create a new calendar item.
    3. In Event Viewer, view the Application log to see whether an error was logged for Outlook, for Lync 2013, the Lync Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013.

  • I had iCloud on my Microsoft Office 2010 and tried to increase the font size - I read to unistall and reinstall, so I did. This took iCloud away from Calendars and Contacts. I re-installed iCloud and it will not sync with my Calendars

I had iCloud installed, and it was working, then I wanted to increase font size in the notes section of Calendar.  I read to uninstall iCloud and reinstall iCloud and it would be fixed.
Once I reinstalled iCloud it did not show up in Microsoft Office 2010 - Calendar or Contacts.........which it had previous to the uninstall.
When I sync it errors.  I am at my wits end trying to sync this, and it just keeps erroring. I am not syncing phots/photo stream, just contacts and calendar.
Please can anyone tell me what setting I have to change??

Needed to add some clarification here:
iCloud shows me as signed in, but Calendars are NOT checked
Internet Accounts shows Calendars as syncing

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately Office for Mac does not support the correct protocols to work with iCloud.

  • MODI (Document Imaging OCR) in Microsoft Office 2010 and later.

What seriously possessed Microsoft developers to remove this feature when there are no other alternatives except to install an old Sharepoint designer.  Tons of end users require OCR capabilities with scanned TIFF files.  Why remove something
like this? I don't understand why they would make such a ridiculously stupid move like this.

    Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) is removed in Microsoft Office 2010. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Please refer to this KB article. In addition to install SharePoint Designer 2007, it provides some other methods to install MODI on the computer. It also describes the alternative methods that you can use to regain the functionalities of certain MODI
    features:

Please be assured that our developers strive to capture Microsoft users' ideas and are working hard to create a more powerful product.

  • I need to run Microsoft Office 2010 and can't figure out what I need to do...

Im taking a office applications class and we're required to use Microsoft Office 2010. I have Windows for mac 2011 on my computer but that's not good enough. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get Office 2010 running on my iMac desktop. I'm really not very computer savvy when it comes to this stuff...

To run Microsoft Office 2010 on your iMac you will need to install Windows.  You can do this one of two ways.
Use BootCamp (free program on your iMac) to make a windows partition and then install Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, or 7) then you will need to restart your computer with the windows partition then you will need to install Microsoft Office.
You can buy Parallels Desktop 7 ($79.95) or VMware Fusion 4 (49.95) these programs make what is called a virtual machine on your iMac it's like any other program, but is is designed to run Windows and other OS along side of your Mac OS no need to restart your iMac, the main advantage.  Once you install Windows then you can install Microsoft Office 2010.
Note: Both of these methods will require a full version of Microsoft Windows.
