CS4 Radiobutton Component Problem

I have converted a Flash3 to a Flash4 presentation. My radiobutton component radiobutton graphic no longer appears but yhr buttonm is still active as well as the RB label. WhenI run this with firefox, this error message appears:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
    at fl.controls::RadioButton/drawLayout()
    at fl.controls::LabelButton/draw()
    at fl.controls::RadioButton/draw()
    at fl.core::UIComponent/callLaterDispatcher()
Does anyone have a hint as to what I can do to eliminate this proble?

I have this exact problem, though this FLA has never not been a CS4 FLA.
To ensure it wasn't the recent 10.0.2 patch, I removed the components from the library as suggested and re-dragged them from the Components panel. The error still persists.
I should note that if I have the components out on the main stage, they work fine and produce no errors. They are inside of a clip which is instantiated at run-time and added to the stage (a popup window). I am having a different, but probably related, error with the ComboBox. It gives the following two errors:

RadioButton Component Hell!

Ok, so anyone who has worked with Flash's built-in radio
button knows that
it's not very friendly when trying to make multi-line labels.
Once you know
where to look and what properties to change it's not much of

Photoshop CS4 file saving problem...

Photoshop CS4 file saving problem: When no file name is specified, Photoshop saves file to the root directory of the drive instead of the current folder. It auto names the image with the name of the folder that was active. Can this be fixed?
BTW: I was using "save for web"--not sure if it that matters.

Bug reports should go in the main forum.
And yes, SFW has it's own file code so that is a very important detail.

Yosemite my CS4 Illustrator has problems

Since installing Yosemite my CS4 suite has problems. E.g. Illustrator warns that it can't load additional modules. It crashes when told to print, it does not export pdf etc. Any well tried solution would be welcome.

THere is no solutionS. CS4 is not compatible with Yosemite.

Did some more tests and here is what does and doesn't work for me.
Losing footage -
Yes I was having the issue (and the topic is in the premiere forum also)
Here is what seems to solve it.
It loses the footage if I use the original folder which has spaces in the name. Not sure if that is the culprit but both methods proved consistent in every test I did.
it worked when I used a new folder called "Test" at the root of my editing drive.
Crashing-
Not sure if other have the issue but when I close AE, PPro will just sit there with an hour glass and show as not responding.
If I close PPro first and then AE and reopen PPro then all seems to work as it is supposed to.
This was also consistent in every test I did.

Please make sure that you're using the new RED importer plug-in and that you've read the instructions on how to use RED files in After Effects CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5.

Slow component problem (logon page, login - logout)

since some time i'm experiencing a "slow component" problem with EP.
As a sympthom portal is slow during first logon page and during login - logout.

Flash CS4 Text Layout Component Problem

Hi,
We are trying to use multiple instances (around 25) of Flash
CS4 Text Layout Component in one file to display arabic text. It
works fine for some random number of instances. However, it gives
problem if that number increases (The text doesnt show).

Radiobutton actionmap problem

I'm implementing a questionnaire consisting mainly of multiple choice questions.
To speed up inputting I want to bind keys to the radiobuttons (numpad 1 for the first option, 2 for the second etc...) All the questions are embedded in panels that are displayed as cards through the cardLayout.
But the keybindings only work for the first two cards (there are 30 questions/cards)? I don't understand why.
Can anyone help?
(Using Mnemonics results in exact the same problem but I don't want the user having to press the ALT-key.)
My (stripped) code :

You should submit an SSCCE to get a better chance of other people reproducing and debugging the problem.
However, based on your description I'd suspect one thing (which I can't check myself as you didn't provide an SSCCE):
From the Swing tutorial on [How to use key bindings|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/misc/keybinding.html] :
+If more than one binding exists for the key, only the first valid one found is used. Input maps are checked in this order: (...)
Because the order of searching the components is unpredictable, avoid duplicate WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW bindings!+ (highlighting and exclamation marks are not mine, but are present as well in the tutorial!).
In your case, several JRadioButtons of the CardLayout have the same keystroke "1", "2",... bound (to the same action name, but that's irrelevant since once the action name is found, the action will be fetched from the component's ActionMap). All bindings are valid in the WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW mode, and only the "first" one is returned.
As the order is unpredictable, it's probably only by chance that the "first" card's binding work. I don't get why the first and second both work, although I suspect the ordering or the search may be affected by the cardLayout swapping the cards, with no guarantee of the current card being the first one searched. Indded the javadoc for CardLayout.show(...) makes no such provision.

CS4 Master Collection - Problem occurred while extracting...

After spending $1,500 and two days of RL time downloading the CS4 Master Collection twice, I am just a tad frustrated.
Each time I download the CS4 suite file and try to install it, I immediately get the error:
"A problem occurred while extracting the archive. Please try downloading the Adobe CS4 Master Collection again."
No. I refuse to spend another full day downloading this file yet again just to receive the same error.
Anyone have some insight into this problem? (more so than "turn off your anti-virus program"

2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as..."
3. Run as Administrator (even if you are logged in as Admin. You need to run in the Black Command Prompt, not the White one)
4. Run: regsvr32 JScript.DLL
5. Then run: regsvr32 vbscript.DLL
(dont forget the spaces, or it won't work)
6. Then try running the set up again
As i said, it worked for some on the forum, but not others (like me). Try it and see if works for you

CS4 Master Collection - Problem Applying Updates

Hi
I'm running the CS4 Master Collection on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit, SP2.
Normally I have no problem applying updates to the various Adobe components when they become available, however for a while now I've been unable to instal an update that's reported as being available for Adobe Media Encoder 4.1.0.
If I run the "check for updates" manually I can download the update (reported as being 63.7MB) and when I attempt to instal it the installation process appears to run. It finishes after a while and the Adobe Updater reports "The Udating Process is Finished" in a single dialog box with a single button entitled "Quit" - which seems odd as "Quit" implies "finish earlier than planned", I'd have expected something more in line with "All done", something like "OK".
Anyway, when I run the check for updates again I'm told about the same update implying that it wasn't applied successfully.
I get this behaviour whether I run the update as an Administrator or not (all other updates for other products are applied without problem). I also get it regardless of whether or not I reboot the machine after trying to apply the update.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the problem ? I couldn't find anything obvious or obviously relevant in any of the Windows event logs on the PC.

11.1.2: Declarative-component problem!

We're just evaluating 11.1.2. I converted some declarative components to 11.1.2/Facelets style, but I am running into problems.
As a test, I created some new components from scratch, confirming the issue.
I create a declarative component and choose "Facelets" and choose "Use custom component class".
JDeveloper then creates an entry in the jsf:
        <afc:component>
            <afc:display-name>testComponent</afc:display-name>
            <afc:component-class>component.TestComponent</afc:component-class>
            <afc:facet>
....After deployment, I just get an error. Facelets is reporting that there is no tag for "component-class", and examining component.taglib.xml in adf-richclient-impl-11.jar shows: Facelets is right! There is none!
Now, I cannot just remove the component-class entry. If I do that, then deployment works, but then JDeveloper creates during compilation a wrong "TestComponentComponent" class (which should extend TestComponent but doesn't!).
It just extends RichDeclarativeComponent, just like my original TestComponent class. All code in TestComponent is not available at runtime.

CS4 Audio Export Problem

I'm fairly new to CS4 and have picked up an audio export problem, more than likely with a setting of sorts. For some reason when I export to MPEG2 -DVD via the Media Encoder, the video portion is fine as well as any audio that has been placed and edited on tracks audio 1 and 2 in PP. However, if there is additional audio placed on tracks 3 or 4 for example (say a music MP3 overlay) then this does not come out ... only audio placed on tracks 1 and 2 in PP come out. I have checked the obvious like making sure the tracks aren't muted etc but to no avail. Also tried changing from PCM audio to MPEG ... Stereo to 5.1 mixdown ... nothing doing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Harm ... got SnagIt and with a few helpful YouTube tutorials ... am in business. Hunt and John, also thanks ... the other method equally as good. Now, I have attempted to attach my screen shot which should display my CS4 timeline and associated audio monitor windows above. By the way, this was for a wedding and as indicated, you will notice an MP3 lying in audio track 3 which as mentioned is my problem as it is not audible after render via Media Encoder. But remember, the moment I slip this MP3 up into audio track 1 or 2 above ... problem solved. I know there must be something small like a setting gone wrong or incorrect. As mentioned, any help would greatly appreciated.
