CSA 5.0 Clients Losing Groups after upgrade to .186

After upgrading to the 5.0.0.186 release, I have several servers that will not remain in thir groups, even after being added to them several times. It seems to happen after they are rebooted. A Critical Error is generated, saying no policies are being enforced on these host, and when you check the groups, they have no group memberships at all.

I am running 5.0.0.189 and am having the same problem. I have several hosts on my network that re-register every time the machine is rebooted. The only correlation I am able to determine, is that the hosts having the problems have had CSA agent removed then reinstalled. Is there a possibility there is a registry key that is not being updated or completely removed, prompting the machine to register? I have also tried new agent kits, but the registration does not seem to stick. This makes it difficult to modify group memberships if at time of reboot the host re-registers and assosicates itself to the groups of the original agent kit.

    Sorry but we haven't find any solution at this time... But I found the following bug which is open for the CPI plateform from 1.3 :
    "CSCue76386 - After Restoring PI DB, duplicate site group are displayed in DWC"
    There is no workaround a this time.

  • Client not working after upgrade

    Hi,
    I am upgrading my SAP 8.8 SP:00 Pl 10 to PL 16. with the help of upgrade wizard all the SAP items are upgraded from PL 10 to Pl 16.
    When i was login in through SAP client it asked for upgrade i clicked yes after some time the upgrade stop and the SAP client logo on the server disappear. Now i am not able to login since there is no client to login.
    I tried to install client from set up file but it gives following error
    Error Number: 0x80040702
    Description: Failed to load Dll: creator Dll
    I have refered SAP Note: 1408662 and also refered other thread but its not working
    I tried to uninstall client from add/ remove program but i am not able to do so
    Pls provide solution since i am not able to login.

    I have already installed the recommended c++ version as per SAP note, still it is not working. I tried to uninstall the client from
    B1SHR folder but it gives me error.
    The server is properly upgraded and problem exists on 3 of client machines.
    I have to any how remove this client file or make it working to acces SAP else i wil have to format system which i dont want to do.

  • DPM 2012 Cannot modify or create protection groups after upgrading from DPM 2010

    We have recently upgraded from DPM 2010 to 2012.  Since the upgrade we have been unable to create new protection groups or add new datasources to an existing group.  Existing backups are running without errors. 
    We have tried checking the DPM sql user account permissions as described in
    this article but with no luck.  More searching has not provided any other relavent fixes.  We are now stuck on how to troubleshoot this any further.
    In the DPM console we get the following error adding a VM to an existing protection group:

    Error 207: An unexpected error occurred on DPM server machine during a VSS operation.
    Error details: VssError:Shadow copying the specified volume is not supported.

    Recommended action: Retry the operation.

    The error 0x8004230C VSS_E_VOLUME_NOT_SUPPORTED: Shadow copying the specified volume is not supported, can only come when trying to enable shadow copies on new volumes created when trying to add new datasources to protection.   Generally speaking
    Only NTFS volumes greater that 1GB with a minimum of 300MB free space can be shadow copied, so something is going wrong with the volume creation / format process.  Please investigate that, see if two new volumes get created when protecting a new data
    source, and the sizes are greated that 1GB and also verify it's formatted NTFS.

    User is provisioned as Individual, not as Group. We validated the Groups and Ensure "no apostrophe" is present. Any suggestions? Created the Ticket with Oracle Support too... but no luck :(

  • Tv losing network after upgrade to e4200

    ok heres the deal, i was using a netgear wndr 3400 and my network stream never failed. i bought a e4200 v2 and my tv loses streaming capabilities after about 10 to 15 minutes.i have to turn it off to get them back and then it does it again in 15 minutes. i know it is not the tv it wprked fine before the new router. 
    i am thinking there is a setting i need to tweak or something. anyone have any ideas.
    the server and the tv are both wireless but as i said it worked like a charm before the new router.

    I have not heard of it concerning UPNP issues though that could be a possibility. The firmware on the router, is it already on the Linksys Smart Wifi or the classic version? As for forwarding ports, I don't think that's necessary since it works again after you re-powered the router. I suggest update the firmware, check the download site for the current version,http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/routers/E4200 then reset the router using the 30/30/30 or hold the reset button for 30sec and unplug/replug the power cord to set it back to default then reconfigure it. By the way, is your internet cable or DSL?

  • Losing Songs after Upgrade to 7.2 iTunes?

    I just upgraded iTunes to version 7.2 and upon the first 'Sync' I get the following error message:
    "Some of the songs in the iTunes library, including 'SONG NAME HERE' were not copied to the iPod 'iPod NAME HERE' because they cannot be played on this ipod."
    . . . then lists the 15 songs (out of 3,100) like. . .
    "Baba O'Riley" was not copied because the file ype is not supported by the iPod", etc., etc., etc.
    I have already been through all 5 R's and have even burned the 15 songs to a disc and burned them back to the library, but with the same result as listed above. What is really weird is that all 15 of the problematic song files were purchased (which cannot be a cooincidence) and all of these songs were copied to the iPod without problem in the prior iTuens software generation.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    that can happen if all the checkboxes to the left of the songs in your main library display have become unchecked.
    if they are unchecked, hold down Ctrl and click one of the boxes to do a "recheck all".

  • N73 - Another Problem after upgrade the firmware t...

    Except the slow contact search problem (solved by Unplug the battery), I still suffered from some application install problems.
    1. Whenever I restart the phone, a message 'Installing' always poped up, and the phone not responding for around 2-3 minutes. And then an error message 'Unable to complete ....' prompted.
    2. The K-Mobile Client application losted after upgrade, and I tried to reinstall it , but resulted error by 'File corrupted'

    Usually that annoying installation process in the beginning can be removed by deleting that installation file in MMC>\Private\10202dce . Most of them does not have the real title of the application. To delete the right one, you need to go to the application manager first and look at the title of the application that cannot be installed nor removed. Ones you know the titles, plug in ur phone to ur computer and browse MMC>\Private\10202dce , some title of the applications from the application manager should be listed there. Delete whatever you find is listed "not installed" in application manager (app cannot be installed or removed), but first make sure to make a backup of it somehow just in case you make an error. After you delete the file/files restart ur phone. The annoying installation process should not appear anymore. Note that by just removing that file may not fully remove the files it created. For advice, if you install applications in ur phone make sure you have backup of them stored in ur computer so that if the installed applications in ur phone stops working properly all you need to do is to reinstall using the original/backup sis files.

  • Lose network after upgrade to v.FF1

    I'm losing network after upgrading to v.FF1.  At the moment the only way I have found to resolve this is to turn off the device, remove the battery, wait about 30 seconds and then reinsert the battery and turn the phone on.  Sometimes it works for about 8 hours other times only an one or or less before I lose the network again.  Any suggestions?

    Check to see if in Settings > General > Restrictions Safari and youTube have been restricted.

  • Why is iMessage splitting group conversations into multiple threads after upgrading to iOS 8?

    After upgrading to iOS 8 my group messages keep getting split up into different threads. Everybody in the threads have iPhones and before upgrading they were all working and sending/receiving iMessages just fine.
    Now I'll have 2-3 threads with the same contacts (using their same phone numbers, not another contact point like iCloud email, Apple ID, etc.). My phone sometimes recognizes that the group is the same because it will automatically name the group the same thing, but other times it just puts the names of the people in the "To" line. In addition, some of the threads won't let me send iMessage so I have to reply in one thread and receive messages in the other (I send iMessages in thread A but the replies from the same people come back in thread B, but if I try and reply in thread B I can only send text messages even though all contact info is the same).
    Update after OS X Yosemite: After upgrading to Yosemite, my Messages app on my MacBook Pro is now splitting the threads as well. It used to be that the computer understood the contacts were the same so all messages should be under one thread and just my phone was having this issue, but the upgrade changed that.
    I have tried signing in and out of iMessage, upgrading to the latest iOS, turning on and off my phone, starting new groups, only replying to certain groups, etc. but nothing has worked.

    Im having the same problem. This started with iOS 8 and Yosemite. Im in a group message with 10 people with and without iPhones. Currently have 9 threads and when ever a new person responds a new thread forms. they all have the same people but in a different order, that may be part of the reason why iMessage doesn't recognize them as the same conversation.
    As I'm writing this post 3 new threads opened and other people with and without iPhones are mentioning the same problem
    hope apple can fix this. VERY annoying

  • Client login to OS/X server doesn't work after upgrade to 10.9.3

    I have been running a Mountian Lion Server with open directory to handle several Mac's at home. After upgrading from 10.8.x to 10.9.3 a few days ago login from the client computer with 10.9.3 does't work. If I turn off Wi-fi, login works, and I can access everything after re-enabling wi-fi.
    Works with client computer and 10.9.2. It also works with login to wiki on this server, using safari from my computer.

    I have several network user set up on a server computer.  This computer, macMini, is running 10.9.3 and the latent version of OS/X server.
    When logging in on a MacBook PRO with 10.9.3, and the computer is on the same network as the server, wi-fi or Ethernet cable, i'm not granted access to the network accounts. The screem-shot above is from the server log.
    When not connected to the local network does login work.
    Same issue with two network accounts. But, when trying a MacBook Air with 10.9.2 is it working with both these networks accounts.
    If disable wi-fi, login and then enable wi-fi can I access all resources on the server as shared disks and replicate home directories. Same procedure works with the 10base6 Ethernet cable, i.e. Pull out the contact, login, put in in the contact.

    I had a report base on a seeded view with following query in Install Base.

    Does the upgrade changes EBZ views?
    I had to rewrite it using base tables and it worked again with the group by clause.
    I have verified there are no invalid objects.

    Please Change your transfer settings in site manager from either default or passive to active it to see what's going on.
    Also, check IE compatibility mode.
    In addition, I suggest you install all latest updates for Windows since these updates will improve and fix some known issues.

  • Strange Client Behavior after upgrading to 10g

    Here is my scenario:
    Oracle Database 10g 10.2.0.3
    Windows 2008 Server SP2
    After upgrading from oracle 9.2.0.1.0 and Windows 2003 Server I'm facing a strange behavior.
    Many times over the days some machines do not release some table resources even having their status "INACTIVE" and the wait event "SQL *Net message from client" and wait class "IDLE".
    Therefore, i got a lot of locked sessions, and users complaining..... until I kill them
    The client machine was as well switched to Oracle 10g client....
    Have you guys got any tips about this scenario?
    Tks for any advice.

    About the lock queue:
    1. blocking session has an exclusive table lock on VENDEDORES table; this is very rare in application because most of the time not needed: application code should try to avoid to take such kind of lock.
    2. blocked sessions request a row share table lock: it looks like that VENDEDORES table is a child table linked to some parent table with a foreign key constraint and that an index on the child table foreign key is missing (this kind of lock is requested if you DELETE from parent table or update parent table primary key).
    About the lock session: this is the blocking session that is waiting since 19 seconds on client: it is likely an application issue: you should try to investigate what the client (aservice.exe) is doing while holding an exclusive table lock.
