CSD + CAD agent software always disconnect

Good day
Can anyone help for the below issues
CSD + CAD agent software always disconnect ( 10 to 15 times Per hour ) and not recovered automatically and shows CRS failure in CSD.
 Connection lost or timeout with UCCX server.(attached)
IPPA always disconnect and shows error (attached).

You are running the baseline version of UCCX 8.5(1) which is a bad idea. There were several nasty  bugs in the original 8.5 release.  Install 8.5(1)SU4 (8.5.1.11004-25), update the CAD clients and try again.  Also check for any firewalls between your phones/CAD and the UCCX server.

  • UCCE 7.5.8 with CAD Agents sitting in India

    Hi all,
    I've got a scenario and am looking for some inputs.
    I've got a centralized CUCM 7.1.3 with UCCE 7.5.8 and CAD 7.5.8. Today I only phones at our India office and all is working perfectly fine with no issues. I am looking into having CAD agents sitting at this office connecting UCCE environment back in California. I've done some testings with CAD agent installed in India and so far all is looking good. It takes about 60-80 seconds from the CAD login screen to completely login to CAD.My concern is the round-trip delay between Ca and India, it's about 290-300ms round-trip.
    Questions:
    Has anyone successfully deployed this type of scenario ? please share your experience !!!
    Has anyone used WAAS to help accelerate CAD login process ?

    Unified CCE deployments can support a mix of CAD and CTI OS agents on the same PG. If a mix is deployed, the sizing limitations of CAD apply.
    Note that Cisco Supervisor Desktop (CSD) can monitor only CAD agents, and the CTI OS supervisor application can monitor only CTI OS agents.
    Cisco Agent Desktop, Supervisor Desktop, and CTI OS cannot co-exist with Cisco CallManager PG; the configuration of agents and supervisors must be kept separate. Cisco Supervisor Desktop cannot be used to monitor a CTI OS agent desktop, nor can a CTI OS supervisor monitor a Cisco Agent Desktop agent.

  • CAD Agent Unable to Login due PGUser Association in CUCM

    Hi all, hope everyone is well.
    I am running a UCCE 7.5.8 environment with CAD 7.5.8 and CUCM 7.1.3 I am having some CAD agent suddenly unable to login to CAD due the following error "An unknow failure was receved from the Cisco Unified Communication Manager. You may have entered an incorrect ID, password, or extension. Verify your entries are correct and try again."
    The fix is to dis-associate and re-associate the device with the PGUser in CUCM even though the device shows it's already associated with the PGUser. Has anyone run into this issue ? I am trying to understand the root cause.

    yes, unfortunately, I have seen this many times working with the ICM 7.x or 7.5.x release train. Always talked to TAC, always installed an ES, but somehow, mystically, the problem went away when upgraded to ICM 8.0(x).
    Looks like a design flaw.

    Hi. My nokia PC suite is always disconnecting when I use Bluetooth.
    I recently update the bluetooth software and mow it say's that there's is note a bluettoth software installed. but it is and is working with the phone that I want to use with nokia PC suite.

    Sorry for the late reply. Don't have access to Internet afterhours for a fortnight. Anyway, back to topic.
    A couple of questions: I supposed that PC Suite can only detect your N70, the first time the connection was set up. (Or is it that only the first time after your laptop/PC reboots?)
    Can you also try this? On the second attempt to connect:
    1. Right click on PC Suite tray icon, select "Synchronise".
    2. Click "Select Phone".
    3. Click "Connection...". Ensure that bluetooth connection(s) is/are selected. (For my LifeBook, the "Bluetooth (Toshiba)" will go unchecked whenever I turned off the Wireless switch to off.) Click "Close".
    4. Click "Refresh". This may take a while, typically under a minute and sometimes a couple of retries.
    These are my ritual steps to get bluetooth connection to my N80. ^_^;

    Be sure that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
    Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again.If unable to do so, see this article.
    Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and indicate that they are connected to the Internet.If not, refer to your network administrator or ISP for assistance.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you are connected. Then tap > and Forget this Network. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network again.
    Note: You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your desired network requires one.
    Turn your Wi-Fi router off and then on again2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
    Update your device to the latest version of software.

       We are planning to deploy UCCE componenets on main site and Voice Gateway plus CAD Agents/Supervisor at branch site. in case of CAD desktop monitoring option there will be two rtp streams from branch to CAD server or that would be point to point agent to supervisor?

    Desktop Monitoring
    Desktop monitoring uses software running on the agent's desktop (Cisco Agent Desktop) to sniff the network traffic going to and from the agent's phone (hardware phone or software phone) for RTP packets. The monitoring software then sends the RTP packets to the appropriate software over the network for decoding. Desktop monitoring relies on the ability for certain Cisco IP Phones to be daisy-chained with the agent's PC via a network connection and for the phone to send all its network traffic along this connection to the software running on the PC. In this case, the packet sniffing software is able to see the voice traffic coming to and leaving from the agent's phone. It will copy this traffic and send it to the supervisor monitoring the agent or to a recording service for the call to be stored and to be listened to at some later time. Desktop monitoring is not a true service, at least from the perspective of the Service Control Manager. It is a Dynamic-Link Library (DLL), an executable module that is part of Cisco Agent Desktop.

    I have a large screen and it is just annoying that the HP Printer Assistant software opens in full screen mode and I have to make adjustments to the window to get it out of the way every time I open it. Does anyone have a solution ?

    I need to acquire Management Agent Software for linux x86 using offline mode. I followed steps described in online documentation of Oracle Cloud Control 12c, section "4.2.3.2 Acquiring Management Agent Software in Offline Mode"
    I downloaded the catalog file p9348486_112000_Generic.zip, but when I executed import_update_catalog as follow:
    /em12c/oms12cr3/oms/bin/emcli import_update_catalog -file=/app/em12c/swlib/p9348486_112000_Generic.zip -omslocal
    this error apears:
    "Internal error while validating catalog file format: error in opening zip file"

  • Agent Software gets hosed up

    I'm having an issue after a call does the following.
         Call comes into a script, and caller enters an extension (non-icd).
         Call is redirected to extension.
         The extension is in a group of extensions that forwards to a route point then to a trigger for a script to handled missed calls.
         The script sends the call to a queue.
         The agent gets the call from the queue, but their agent hangs in a reserved state with the last prior calls varibles showing.
    I'm seeing similar problems anytime a call comes from a script to a non icd extension and returns to a script and is sent to queue.
    Does anyone know how to correct this instability from within a script?  I've tried delaying the call for longer when see it comes from the forwarding route point, but this does not appear to help.  This is annoying since the agent software has to be restarted to begin taking calls again and they have to notice that it has happened.

         Problem is, that so much is not supported.  I believe I found a work around for this issue though.  I've changed the forwarding to only forward back to the script if the call is a forward no answer internal or external and removed all other forwards.  So now the script won't allow the redirect to send the call to them if they are not logged into a softphone.  The forward Unregistered Internal and External was causing my issue by having a route point that led back to a script.
         If someone calls them directly internally they get an off the hook tone, if they are logged off.  If someone tries to transfer them a call, it does not allow it unless they are logged in.
         If they are logged in and don't get the call by the RNA setting, the call gets fired into the script to go to an operator.  This looks like a new call to the system and the users extension is the original route point and scripts handle the call fine. When it was forwarding for the other reasons, the call maintained it's prior history of being thru a script and caused a problem.
         I was new to scripting on the last build, but realized quickly that a script could not pass a call to another scripts trigger without causing crazy things to happen.  I now just call another script as a subflow and pass it the varibles I want to.

I have one location telling me and I witnessed it today that when a call is presented and the user lets it go as a ring no answer the call acts as if it never leaves the Agent. It does start to ring the next phone in line like it should but the Agent that let the call RNA still shows the call on thier phone like it is still being presented. The Answer/drop button stays lit while this is happening. I can log off the user (it tells me there is a active call in progress) and then log them back in and it works again. This is sporadic sometimes the users go for a day or 2 without it and it happens on multiple users. I did a BUG search and could not find anything.
    Has anyone seen this yet?

  • Download Agent Software Error

    All,
    I'm stumped. I have upgraded two Grid Control servers to 10.2.0.5 (non-RAC'd) and one of the servers let me download agent software under the Deployments->Download Agent Software page but the other Grid Control server is giving me and error on any agent software that I choose. The error that I get is "Error: Software successfully downloaded to {0}"
    I've tried different Staging locations and compared a lot of files between the working Grid Control server and the failing one. I can't find major differences between the two except the server and services names. I also can't see anything in the logs that I've looked at.
    Has anyone resolved this issue (or seen it)?
    Can someone point me in the right direction to resolving it before I think about opening an SR about it?

    No such luck. I've actually been looking into this issue off and on for about a week. Another tidbit, I can download the mass agent software manually and put it under the agent_download directory and Grid Control will recognize it. It's just the downloading of Agent software from Grid Control that it broke. It's not a huge deal, but if something works on one box and not another it really gets my root cause juices flowing.
