Hi gurus,
I don't want see the currency in query: for example, I want see 13 instead of 13 EUR.
How can I make it?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Try this , after executing the Query, in properties " check "DISPLAY SCALING FACTORS FOR KEY FIGURES".
It will give you the result as you want.

    Hi,
    Please create a calculated key figure and use the function NODIM
    so you have will have a new calculated key figure = NODIM ( cube key figures)
    Note - this will be fixed for this query.. you will not be able to change it at the report level... units can only be seen if you remove the NODIM

  • Local Currency At query Level

    Hi All,
    Is their a way to permanently set local currency at query level. Or do we have to set the currency conversion on all the fields.
    Kind Regards
    James

    Yes,You will have to set at each KF at query level.But if you want for all the KF's at one shot,you may have to do the currency conversion for all the KF's at backend cube level  in transformations.
    Is this conversion based on the current day at query level?, if so, the cube level calculations would not be right since the cube data will get conversions based on that days load.

  • Variable currency on query level (not KYF)

    Hello,
    I'm currently looking for an easy way to get a variable screen with one currency selection entry for all query amount key figures. Till now I used an own currency translation type with a target currency from a variable. But this I have to assign to every key figure in my query.
    Isn't it possible to set such a variable currency on query level and not on key figure level?
    Thanks for your help.
    Frank

    Hi
    I dont think whether there is a way to maintain currency translation at the query level.But you can map them to a fixed target currecy in mapping in the update rules itself....which will be universally available for you in the same currency in all the queries.....if you want specific to queries....i dont think there is a easy way

  • Currency Translation: Query use different Rates based on country/Currency

    Hi Friends,
    There is a requirement from our client to apply two different Exchange Rates on the rows of a single query (based on the Inflationary status of countries/Currencies).
    For regular set of countries(or Local currencies), we want normal P&L Rate to be applied on local curency.
    But at the same time if it is a High Inflationary country (or currency), the Global Currency should be displayed as it is without any translation.
    Both these effects should happen and appear on the same Key figure column.
    How can we achieve this?
    Looking forward to have your inputs. Thanks in Anticipation!

    Hi Vikram,
    Thanks for the suggestion.
    It seems as if this suggestion could work only when we want to excute for a given country code. In Reality the query will be executed for all countries in one go and we want the query result rows follow different logic for Different LEs or Currency.
    Any further Ideas Pls. Thanks!

  • FOREIGN CURRENCY VALUATION QUERY

    I am doing a customer invoice posting in USD for 1300$ (INR 46 Rupees) - Tcode F-22
    If I do a customer incoming payment for a total amount of 1300 $ (INR 47 Rupees) - Tcode F-28 - Here the system is creating a line item automatically generated for Exchange gain and posting the gain amount directly to Exchange gain account.Here I need not do any valuation of foreign currency.
    But in a scenario when the customer is doing a partial payment of 400$ (INR 47 rupees) - Tcode F-28 then system is not creating a line item for Exchange gain for the profit on 400$. When I do the valulation run through FAGL_FC_VAL then only system is crediting the exchange gain a/c.
    Now if i want the exchange gain amount to automatically credited when I do the partial payment also, i.e., if I need the line item Exchange gain account to trigger automatically when I do the partial payment instead of running the FAGL_FC_VAL then is there any option for the same.
    Regards,
    Padmavathi

    Hi JP,
    While making Partial Payments also you can post forex gain/Loss but for that a little configuration is required. The IMG path is :-
    Financial Accounting Global Settings (New)>Global parameters for Company code>Currencies>Indicate Currency Differences for partial payments.
    Here against the document type, which you are using for making partial payments you have to tick that doc type and then the Forex gain/Loss gets posted even on partial payments.
    Hope this help

  • Input ready query / derived currencies

    Hi all,
    I have an issue regarding an input ready query with multiple currencies:
    The query should enable the input of plan values for several reporting units, each with its own local currency. If I restrict the currencies using variables, I naturally get all possible combinations of currency and reporting unit as input ready. This allows the user to make wrong entries and is not very user friendly.
    I wanted to restrict the currency using characteristic relationships but encountered several issues:
    - Local Currency can not be chosen as attribute or DSO based characteristic relationship in the Modeler.
    - when using a char. rel. based on CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT (derive method) I receive the error msg "Cannot generate combinations in step '04'" everytime I restrict local currency to generate combinations based on char. rel. rather than master data in the query.
    Do I have to implement the create method of the char. rel. exit? If yes is there some documentation available? Or could somebody give me an advise for an alternative solution?
    Thanks,
    Viktor

    Hi,
    I think this works out of the box.
    Assume the characteristic 'reporting unit' has a currency characteristics containing the local currency as an attribute. Both, the 'reporting unit' and the currency characteristic have to be in the InfoCube and aggregation level used for the input-ready query. Create a characteristic relationship of type attribute containing the above characteristics and use 'access mode for result values' based on characteristic relationships for both  characteristics in the query. But both characteristics e.g. in the rows of the query and you should only the valid combinations of 'reporting unit' and currency.

    Hi,
    If you define your query conversion in BW then it is easy to do currency conversion through Bex.What you need to do is use calculated key figure instead formula and do a right click select properties there at the currency translation area you ca select defined currency conversion in BW and your target currency.

  • Ordering within query

    I have a simple two-sided one-to-many relationship:
    public class A {
    private String title;
    private Collection children = new ArrayList();
    public void addChild( B child ) { this.children.add( child ); }
    public class B {
    private A parent;
    private Boolean switch;
    I want to select all B's with switch == true:
    Extent extent = pm.getExtent( B.class,true );
    String filter = "switch == true";
    Query query = pm.newQuery( B.class,extent,filter );
    Collection coll = (Collection)q.execute();
    This all works great! Now I want the collection ordered by A.title, so
    I add the following to the query:
    query.setOrdering( "parent.title ascending" );
    This doesn't seem to work. How can the ordering be made to navigate a
    relation?
    Thanks,

    Here is the code (Country is the parent and Instrument is the child):
    Extent extent = pm.getExtent( Instrument.class,true );
    String filter = "currency == true";
    Query query = pm.newQuery( Instrument.class,extent,filter );
    query.setOrdering( "country.description ascending" );
    Collection instruments = (Collection)query.execute();
    System.out.println( "size: " + instruments.size() );
    for( Iterator i = instruments.iterator(); i.hasNext(); ) {
    Instrument instrument = (Instrument)i.next();
    Country country = instrument.getCountry();
    System.out.println( "symbol: " + instrument.getSymbol() + "
    currency: "
    + instrument.getCurrency() + " country: " + country.getDescription() );

    Collection coll = (Collection)q.execute();I assume you are actually calling 'query.execute' and not 'q.execute'?
    Otherwise maybe it's not ordering because you're adding the ordering to
    'query' and not 'q' (which would have to be another query in that code block
    somewhere...).
    query.setOrdering( "parent.title ascending" );This should work (barring the unlikely possibility that you're committing the
    error I mentioned above). Could you send us the SQL that is generated when
    you execute this query? (You can turn on SQL logging by setting the
    com.solarmetric.kodo.Log property to 'stdout' or to some file path).

    pls someone help me to correct the query

    Well, you may want to look at the activity for one specific account, in detail, before you try to get involved in summarizing/grouping the detail. That way you will begin to understand what the grouping function in the SQL statement is going to do to you. You do not say what is wrong with your query, but I am assuming that your numbers for the Opening Balance and the Closing Balance are too high. Would that be a correct assumption? The problem, as I see it, is that you are joining the gl lines detail to the gl balances table. That means every record (row) in the join for that account for the desired period is going to have the beginning balance dr and cr columns. So if you sum up that column, you are going to sum up the beginning balances multiple times. What you need to do is first summarize your detail activity by the date, journal source, and journal category, and the debits and credits sums, for the period in question, and store that result, Then do a second query that joins that result set to the gl_balances table. Also not sure what null values are doing to you, if you have them in the debit and credit fields. You may have to convert the null values to a 0 as part of this whole process. Or do this via a custom program. Or if you have a data warehouse, you might want to see if you can handle this in the data warehouse. So some options to thiink about.

  • View Link - Adding criteria dynamically in runtime

    Hi all,
         I'm working on a development in which Hgrid is used to show results based on the user's search criteria. The query to populate the Hgrid region, as expected, is built from a Master VO linked with a Details VO through a View Link.
    As per design model and requirement, I will need to use specific filters on the Details VO besides the already existing link attribute defined to link both Master and Details VO. My question is.. How can I implement this??
    I've tried to use setWhereClause(...) and executeQuery() in the Details VO but it seems that no matter what I include in the WhereClause for the Details VO, it just simple ignores.
    Scenario Example:
    MasterVO attributes (ship_hdr_code, ship_hdr_id)
    View Link (Master.ship_hdr_id = Details.ship_hdr_id)
    DetailsVO attributes (ship_line_code, ship_hdr_id, ship_line_id, amount, currency)
    After querying on MasterVO for ship_hdr_id = 1, View Link will query all lines on DetailsVO in which ship_hdr_id = 1 as well.
    In addition to this, users may want to see only records from DetailsVO that the currency is equal to 'INR'.
    I'd appreciate any help on this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Eduardo

    Hi,
    The invoice is in functional / local currency.I queried the tables:
    - ap_invoice_distributions_all and
    - ap_accounting_events_all .
    I can see that all distribution lines of our invoice have three event codes:
    -Invoice
    -Invoice Adjustment
    -Invoice Cancellation
    Only invoice distribution lines with Invoice Adjustment code have a status flag of accounted while the others have status of created.
    I tried the following:
    from Help-> Diagonistics -> DEBUG. I ran the request Payables Accounting Process and found that there are two line with line type as Invoice Price and Exception : Invalid Acct and their account column is empty.
    I could not match the report with neither the application nor the tables as I could not find a row with same AMOUNT and same LINE TYPE : Invoice Price.
    how can identify I the records with wrong account?

  • Multiple Queries with Multiple Prompts

    Hi,
    I created a WEBI that consist of two queries. Both query is the same except the currency value in the prompt.
    Query 1: Currency is MYR
    Query 2: Currency is USD.
    I have both Query1.NetSales and Query2.Netsales in the same report. I am able to get the report to show correct figure by running the query one by one and fill in the currency separately.
    But when I run all queries or refresh all data, it only show one prompt and both queries will run based on the currency in the prompt (either MYR or USD). In the infoview, I can only able to fill in values for one prompt.
    Anyone could please advise how can the report handle multiple prompts?

    Thanks, but my report still doesn't show the correct figure.
    My Universe is generated by the SAP BW query. The prompt is auto generated base on the condition filter in the universe which is including the currency and country.
    I had added the currency in the query filter for both query:
    Query1:  LovCurrency: Prompt "MY Currency:"
    Query2: LovCurrency: Prompt "US Currency:"
    when I run all the queries, I am able to see the above 2 newly created filter in the prompt. I had filled in MY Currency with "MYR" and US Currency with "USD". and I select Malaysia as country.
    Both Query1.NetSales and Query2.NetSales in the report appear the same value and it's in MYR currency. The figure is automatically calculate base on the country default currency. If I choose multiple countries in the prompt, I will get unknown number.
    My question is that, why is my currency in query filter does not take effect and overwrite the default currency.
