Custom LR Exports

Hello,
Is there a way to export to jpg from a RAW file with a setting different then what it already has?
For example.  I have a library of RAW files all corrected to be BW.   I want to export these image with the Camera RAW Defaults.   Not BW.  I do not want to change the current settings.
Thanks in advance!
Troy

Not directly. However, you can create a Virtual Copy for each then reset the develop settings foe these to Lr default.
1. In Library Grid select relevant file
2. Choose Create Virtual Copies (VCs) from Library Photo menu
3. VCs should already be selected. Choose Reset from Library Photo>Develop Settings menu or use keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R
4. VCs should still be selected. Choose Export from Library File menu or use keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+E
Note - It took me longer write above than would take to actually carry out the steps.

  • Crystal Report 2008 SP2 & InfoView: Custom XML Export doesnt work

    Hi,
I have created a Crystal Report .rpt and want to use the custom xml export function to output a custom xml file. For that, I created a custom transformation file (xsl) and imported it into the .rpt . On the client machine, if I open the .rpt with Crystal Reports 2008 SP2, and select to export it using the custom xml output, all runs fine. (under SP1, only half the file was created...)
If I upload the .rpt file to Infoview (server-side: BO Enterprise 3.1, SP2 as well) and schedule it, I can select xml, and then my custom xml as output format, but I am getting the error message u201EUngültige Exportoptionen" (="invalid export options"), in the instance history. No output file is created. I use file system as destination. Other output formats like .pdf and .rpt work fine and files are created.
    Ideas:
-Are there any more settings needed on the server (e.g.CMC - Crystal Server Jobs, other Processes, ...) so I can schedule the report and successfully create the custom xml format file as output?
-Do I need to upgrade to a specific SP or FP on server-side so everything runs smooth?
    Thanks for your help!

  • Is there a way in Final Cut Pro 7 to save custom Batch Export settings?

Is there a way in Final Cut Pro 7 to save custom Batch Export settings?

Don't think so.  Years ago, I seemed to figure out a way in an earlier version of fcp, but when I tried to recreate it, I couldn't make it work.
You can send to compressor and save custom presets there.

  • Custom book export resolution problem in PDF - only 150DPI!?

I've been using the custom book option and when it came to exporting my PDF I have run into a problem involving the undocumented output resolution of a PDF at a given size. The custom book dialog allows you to create a book with a certain size in inches, but this really has no real meaning since the resolution of that output cannot also be specified in either the layout option or the print dialog. For example is it 150dpi or 300dpi? From some investigation it appears to be locked at 150DPI.
Now I would have thought that Aperture was intelligent enough to just treat the album layout (this is my assumption) as some kind of smart object, where the layout is resolution independent and the final output resolution can be determined when printing to a printer or PDF. In that case the dialog for the setup of the custom size is correct. However, there is no option that I can see in the print dialog to actually specify the output resolution; Aperture is left to its own devices to specify an output resolution, which is undocumented.
I use a printer that accepts JPG or TIF files and I need 300dpi for an album size of 10x13 inches. This equates to 3900x3000 pixels per page. I am able to export to PDF in the print dialog and then used an automator action to export each page of the PDF as JPG and reimported back into Aperture 2 in the same action. In the PDF>JPG conversion option there is the ability to set the DPI to 300. That works fine and the resulting JPG images show as 300dpi (3900x3000px). When looking at the images though they look a little soft, which leads me to believe that my action was simply interpolating a 150dpi image in the PDF into 300dpi.
So to test this, I noticed that if I exported just one page of the album as a PDF and opened the PDF in Preview it does indeed tell you that it is 13x10 inches (no mention of the pixel resolution though). So, you can actually reimport a single page PDF into Aperture and if you do this it appears that the actual resolution is 1950x1500 and that equates to 150dpi for a 13x10 inch layout.
So there are two things that could possibly be going on here:
    1. The actual layout of the album is locked at 150DPI and the save to PDF simply takes that and exports a PDF at that resolution.
    2. The layout of the album is resolution independent, the size of the album (in the custom dialog) simply controls the aspect of the page layout, and the print dialog (save to PDF) is exporting as 150DPI as default. When I run my automator action (these are the Leopard PDF actions), the save each page to JPG action is up-res'ing the image to 300dpi.
This is where I need help. Is 1 or 2 (or something else?) happening. Also, does the PDF save as JPG12? That too is undocumented.
If number 1 is happening I may have to set my album size to 26x20inches to get a 10x13 inch page at 300dpi.
If number 2 is happening I need to find a PDF/TIFF/JPEG print driver to enable me to export at 300dpi as the print dialog in not standard (and we don't get the nice 'save as' drop down where we could do other things. So far my search has led me to CUPS-PDF, but that still doesn't allow for resolution to be set: http://www.codepoetry.net/projects/cups-pdf-for-mosx
Why can't Apple just figure this thing out correctly and allow the resolution to be specified by the user - what an oversight given all of the feedback requests for the custom album tool. We need 300dpi as a minimum as we can always down-res if we want.
Any ideas? I've got albums to send to clients! Help!
    Thanks

When you import any PDF into Aperture, I think it rasterizes any PDF you import to a 150dpi flat image on import, even if it was a high res PDF to begin with. But theres the thing, PDFs don't have dpi (as such). Any shapes or text is a vector so don't have a DPI as they'll scale when printed. The images use their DPI when they were imported from the program that created the PDF.
So I did a quick test and put a page I made from Aperture in to Acrobat and ran a preflight check on all images to check the resolution. It came back at 349.956 ppi, so this example was over 350dpi.
    I've attached the screenshot

  • Custom PDF export changes colour from CMYK to RGB!

I've created a custom PDF output setting (based on the preset "Press") for hi resolution output. The files are created in inDesign CS5 - CMYK and several spot colours too. I can check the output-preview and it looks OK. When I check the output preview of the PDF (or the film/plate seps ahhh!) they have been converted to RGB. How do I keep the separations in CMYK?

Over the years I've learned plenty of lessons the hard way, and they're the ones that really stick.
In theory when sending an ad to various publications I'd try to send something that correct to each, but in practice that's essentially impossible, so I tend to convert everything to SWOP 2 (you'd be amazed how many newspapers use SWOP 2 COATED as the working profile in this country), admit that colors will never be perfect or match across multiple pubs because my clients can't afford the costs of making that happen, and leave out the profiles. I'd rather have crisp type than slightly better color from a conversion, but that's me.
But I do now include the profiles and I use the profile the printer tells me to use - the only way I'd get rich black type, I think, is if the printer ends up using a different profile than what they told me, right?
That's correct. If that happens, it's time to get another printer.
Including the profiles - I thought - would somehow let the prepress know "actually this file was made for a different print process".
I suppose it might, if they look and if they care.
Why is the option to include profiles there?
I think this is really intended for when you DON"t convert colors during export, as with PDF/X-4. If the colors are not yet converted, you need to know the source profile to get the destination color correct.
I don't want to give anyone the idea that it would be a mortal sin to include profiles as a matter of routine. I just want to point out that doing so MIGHT cause unexpected results in some circumstances and that it's important to know what can go wrong.  Also, there is no guarantee that leaving colors unchanged and including profiles is going to get you good color on the far end. It all comes down to the skill level of the person doing the prepress.

  • Project 2007 (with server) - Visual reports custom templates export problem

    Hi,
    someone fimiliar with this situation?
    While creating
and saving a new template in visual report using Project Professional 2007, some of the reports that was saved as template lose connection between Project cube and Excel.
Those reports include Enterprise global custom fields, and on the first few times I open them (on different computers) it works fine but later some of the report
templates won’t open, and error messages are received.
Those are the steps I did to reproduce the problem:
When I create the template I used “New template” and then I added the fields (some of the templates are “Task usage” based, and some “Task summary” based).
Then when I try to open it later…
    Step 1 –Open the template
Step 2 – the export gets stuck –
Step 3 – if I check the excel that was opened I get error messages -
Step 4 – another error message (after clicking OK on the previous one)
When clicking OK or Cancel the excel is closed
Step 5 – when going back to check visual reports on project another error appears
Ofir Marco , MCTS P.Z. Projects

Easily fixed.  Just take the Excel.exe file and copy/paste from your Program
    Files/Microsoft Office/Office14 folder to the Office12 folder.
As near as I can tell, Project is looking for the file in Office12.
I think you also need to restart Project after doing so.

  • Customs Declaration - Export

    Hi All,
    Which services can I check?
I am trying to create a Customs Declaration
    Steps I followed:
Step1 In Feeder System Created a sales order, VA01
Step1 In Feeder System Created outbound Delivery, VL01N
Step3 In Feeder System /SAPSLL/CUS_INV_R3, Shipment Consolidation: Generate Customs Declarations from Sales Order
Step4 In SAP GTS System > /SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL> Customs Processing Import/Export --> Display Outbound Activity ^
^Display Outbound Activity: when I click this I do not see any document.
    Help appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,
Iam not sure why you using  tocode /n /SAPSLL/CUS_INV_R3 to create the billing document.
as this Shipping Consolidation is used to  group the desired number of outbound deliveries or shipment documents in  pro forma billing documents. This lets to keep the number of customs export declarations that are generated in SAP GTS to a minimum.
If you do not want to group Delivery to create a single F8 doc ( Proforma invoice ) you can use Tocode VF01 to create Billing Doc ( F8 doc type ).
Following check you can do to make sure that your custom declaration is getting created:
    1. On ECC/R/3 side
Check  whether you Sales order dod type ,Delivery  doc type and Billing Document F8 are activated going to got to GTS or not
By going the following configuration you can check what all document type has been activated for At different application level SD0A ( Sales order) , SD0B ( O/B Delivery) , SD0C ( Billing Doc ) ,
For  ECC go to SPRO :
Sales and distribution ->Foreign Trade/Customs>SAP Global Trade services-Plugin->Controldata for transfer to SAP GTS->Configure control settings for  transfer of document
For R/3 got to tcode /n/sapsll/menu_legalr3
Go to the Tab Customizing --- >Configure control settings for transfer.
Sales order doc type has to be atleast activated  for Compliance Servicee
Delivery doc has to be atleast activated  for Compliance Servicee
F8 Billing doc has to be activated for Custom management services.
    On GTS side:
Check al the following SPRO configuration :
    Under General Settings
    1) Define Legal regulation,Legal code 01
    2) Determination  Procedure for Active Legal Regualtion ( Det Strgy- LECUS- Cntry Level)
    3) Activate Legal regulation for Dest Cntry with combination of Dep cntry
    Under Customs- Document Str.
    1) Define Document type CULOEX (Number Range,Log control Access control,Partner group Action Profile,Text Det.Calculation Profile,Item Category)
    2) Activate Document Type
    3) Define Control Settings at Doc. Type Level and Legal Reg. Level ( If Access Control  slected in previous step 1 is  Leg Reg/Doc) Action Profile,Partner Group,Text Det Proc.,Calc Profile.
    4) Assign Document type from Feeder system at feeder system or feeder system group level. Application Level SD0C
    5) Define Item Category
6)Assign Item Category at feeder system or feeder system group level. Application Level SD0C
    Under Custom Service
1)Assign Det Proc for Active Legal Reg LECUS
2)Activate Legal Reg for Customs Proc for Dest and Dep country combination
    3)Control Settings for Cust Proc.
You can check Tocode  SM58 on ECC side to check for error of document transfer.
Simillarly on GTS side you can use Tcode SLG1 to check for any error .
Tocde /SAPSLL/APIINVC_TLOG  is specific  to check for any error for Bill doc if it is not transferred to GTS.
    Kind regards,
    Sameer

  • Viewing issues for custom list exported from Excel

Exported a table from Excel to use in our Sharepoint Online site.  I am a site owner.  The table/list shows up for all owners.  When a team site member tries to view the list it only shows the headers and no items.  The list is inheriting
the permissions from the site and the members can see other content on the site.  I have even stopped the inheritance and set custom permissions for the list but it still only shows for owners.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance for the help.

    Petra,
The Forum isn't really designed as a training system but rather where people can share questions or get a separate pair of eyes to look afresh at issues that aren't working for some reason. This is particularly the case for something which is as important as creating dimensions.
The idea of the SSM Cube Builder/Model Designer was to enable people to build models with their relevant dimensions and metrics for demos and simple initial systems using manual data entry. If you are getting into building dimensions that will be outside BW then you are moving into the implementation arena rather than demo creation and need to work carefully so that things tie up.
I doubt people would expect to be able to set up/implement BW without training and SSM is the same.
If you would like training or would like to collaborate on a first project to enable skills transfer then my colleague Pedro and I would be happy to discuss this. We have done this with other people and it has worked well.

  • ACI Custom Report - Export to other environments

    Hi all,
I realize this may not be the best forum for this question but I thought I'd give it a shot.
I've created a custom report in ACI 9.3 using Report Studio. What do I need to do to export this report/package from one environment to another?
    Thanks,
    Dave

This is an excellent place to ask ACI related questions...
If you're moving a single report then perhaps the easiest way is to use the cut-and-paste technique. From Report Studio simply copy the XML that represents the report definition you want to move to the clipboard (Tools->Copy Report to Clipboard). Then open Report Studio in the environment you want to move the report definition to and create yourself a blank report. Paste what you've got in your clipboard to this blank report (Tools->Open Report from Clipboard) and you've now successfully moved your report. Just make sure you saved your report definition to the content store after pasting it otherwise you'll loose it.
To move a much larger amount of developed content from one server to another you'll want to create a deployment archive. You'll want first create an archive using the New Export Wizard in the Reporting Center Administration (Configuration->Content Administration). This will create a zip file on the server containing all the content you'll want to move. Then simply transfer this zip file to the new environment and using the New Import Wizard in the Reporting Center Administration (Configuration->Content Administration) to import this archive.
    Hope that helps...
BTW if you ever want to share a custom report you've developed you can use the cut-and-paste technique and paste the XML into an email to share with friends.

  • Calendar Custom commands - Export Event is not properly exporting

    Hi
I am using  OOTB Calendar list and want to export the Events from Export Event button on Custom Command tab. It exports the data into .ics file but if there are any hyperlinks or HTML tags existing in the list data, it is not exporting the details properly.
What is the work around for this?
    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi,
Based on your description, my understanding is that hyperlinks or HTML tags are not working when export the Events from calendar into .ics file.
I can't find Export Event button on Custom Command tab in my SharePoint 2010, how do you export the Events from calendar into .ics file.
I have done a test in my SharePoint 2010:
Go to an calendar list->  Connect to outlook, refer to the following screenshot:
The hyperlinks in the outlook is clickable, if I misunderstanding the issue, please offer a screenshot about your issue, I will better help you.
