Custom Order of Pictures not accepted

Hi to all!
It happen to me now on a regular basis. After ordering and pre-editing of newly imported files in my first 'neutral' project I drag them in groups into other existing projects. Now I would expect that the new pictures will than appear at the bottom of the project, in the same order they were placed before.
But often the new motives are mingled with the older pictures, and all my ordering before was useless, and has to be redone. Also it seems that some pictures simply don't like to be placed beside certain other particular pictures, and simply popping away from each other. Only in a kind of labyrinth game I can bring them staying side by side.
I always using the 'custom' setting in the browser, no other order like image date, rating etc.
does anybody experience similar behavior? Or did I simply overlooked anything? The big advantage of Aperture as organizing tool is hereby for me a bit reduced.
Any ideas?

I won't address the workflow that you've chosen, but others may question the idea of starting images off in one project and then moving them to another...
That said, I think one straightforward way to accomplish what you want is to:
1) Import photos into your "neutral" project
2) Create one or more albums in that project to hold your reordered images
3) Perform the reordering +within the album+
4) Drag the images at the project level from your neutral source to your destination project
5) Drag the album from the neutral to destination project
The images will have been migrated from the neutral to the destination project, and your custom ordering will be preserved inside the migrated album.

    Sales order does not create FI document, only billing document does.  You can only apply payment to the corresponding FI (transferred from billing) document.

  • ARD 3 : Custom "Lock Screen Picture" not functional?

    It seems as though things have changed with the way that the Lock Screen Picture feature is handled from ARD 2, whereas now the only working solution I have found is to swap out the Lock.jpg file located in "/System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/AppleVNCServer.bundle/Contents/S upport/LockScreen.app/Contents/Resources".
    Obviously this is not an elegant solution, but at the present it seems to be the only approach I have found that works.
    Has anyone been able to get the documented approach to work? Is there a different way that is easier to deploy?

    As per the subject of this post, that technique does not seem to work now.
    I've attempted the following:
    - a custom "Lock Screen Picture" w/ and w/o an extension in /Library/Preferences
    - w/ Quicktime & Preview as the associated applications
    - a copy of the original Lock.jpg from the package as the file
    None of these things work, whereas the approach I mention earlier does.
    I guess I should have reiterated in the body of my message that the solution you point out is not working (at least for me).

    downloading does not require a serial number.

  • Custom "Lock Screen Picture" not functional?

    Hi, the Remote Desktop manual method of changing the lock screen picture still doesn't work for me.
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Method from Apple Remote Desktop Manual:
    1 Create a picture using a graphics program, such as AppleWorks.
    2 Save the picture in PICT, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, or any other QuickTime-compatible static image
    format.
    QuickTime-compatible movies or QuickTime VR objects cannot be used.
    3 Name the picture “Lock Screen Picture”.
    4 Copy the “Lock Screen Picture” file to /Library/Preferences/ on the client computer.
    PowerMac G5 Dual 2.3ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.8)  

    The method listed in the manual has never worked and still doesn't, as far as know, with 3.1, though I haven't tested it with 3.1 myself yet. The only working solution I have found is to swap out the Lock.jpg file located in
    "/System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/AppleVNCServer.bundle/Contents/Su pport/LockScreen.app/Contents/Resources".

    Hi All,
    Mvt type 541 E (sales order stock) is not accepting in the system. Following error appears
    Special Stock E not supported (check your entry) while this mvt type is available.
    I am sending sales order stock to vendor and getting it done back through subcontracting. Please help me out.

    Subcontracting special stock segment cannot be combined with sales order stock in standard system. So, you won't be able to use 541E.
    If you work in MTO environment (procurement for sales order stock or project stock), you have to decide whether the components are to be asigned to the order / project (1) or independently from the order / project (2) - during planning you control it via MARC-SBDKZ.
    Based on MARC-SBDKZ's value
    1. Components assigned to sales order / project
    You cannot move the components to the subcontractor special stock segment. When you receive your goods the components will be consumed from the (sales order or project) special stock by 543E or 543Q.
    (In this case the components remain in your SLoc till the consumption)
    2. Components are not assigned to sales order / project
    This is the normal subcontracting scenario where you send your goods to the subcontractor (mvt 541) and consume them from the subcontractor's special stock segment (543).

    Withdrawal from Stock of Mat. Provided or Sales Order/Project Stock
    For components that are managed in sales order stock or project stock, you can define whether the components are to be withdrawn directly from each sales order/project stock or from the stock of material provided to vendor. You manage this via the dependent requirements indicator for individual customer requirements and collective requirements (MARC-SBDKZ).
    You can maintain this indicator in the following places:
    in the MRP view of the material master record (MRP 4)
    in the explosion types for the BOM item (in Customizing for Production in the step Basic Data -> Bill of Material -> Item Data -> Define explosion types)
    Configuring the explosion types has priority over the configuration in Inventory Management.
    If the indicator is set at Collective requirements only (2), the materials are withdrawn from the stock of material provided to vendor. If this indicator is set any other way, the system withdraws materials from sales order stock or project stock.

  • Custom BAPI not accepting Request Parameters.

    Hello all
    I i'm using a JCO connector to call a custom ZBAPI to do a material move update.  the BAPI has 3 required and 1 optional parameters.. all type string.  The response is either an error message or confirm.  
    I have several BAPI's that I call in my application both standard and custom, all of them work except this one.  For some reason it is not accepting the parameters we send it.  I had the SAP integrator alter the BAPI to return the values I send it and its getting none of them. 
    I have Auto Commit Turned on as well.
    Any thoughts?  I have the source code for the BAPI if that would help

    Unfortunatly I cannot answer that question because the Group/Role/User configuration for the ERP system is custom.  Sometimes in the BAPI you will attempt to call a func. that requires additional permissions than the standard BAPIs; such as Cost Assignment when releasing a work order.  If this is the case the user will have to have access/permissions to the FI/CO module.  In order to check and eliminate the permissions issue as a possibility, request SAP_ALL permissions in the dev system and try it again.

    Depending on what kind of computer you have, you're gonna need to put that backup in the appropriate folder or itunes is not gonna be able to see it for you to use.

    Custom sort order is not a typical option in the list view of any desktop computing systems I know of. The way you're seeing it work is also how it works in Windows and other systems.
    There is no "None" sort order. What you're seeing is a "None" option under "Arrange By." Arranging is not the same as sorting; arranging is how the files are grouped in the window. For example, you can arrange (group) files by Kind while sorting by Name. You'll notice that if you are in List view and you choose Arrange By "None," in the window there is still a sort triangle next to the column name that it's sorting by.
    If Arrange is set to None, the files appear in one big group (the traditional view) that is controlled by the Sort order (where there is no None option).
    I didn't even know the difference between Sort and Arrange until I saw your question and did a little research! This Macworld article helped:

    As for your main question, how to do a custom sort order in the Finder, you can only rearrange files manually in Icon view. As with other operating systems, if you want to create a custom sort order for photos there are other ways:
    Use a photo organizer application like iPhoto or Lightroom. Some let you have custom sort orders in folders, but others only let you have a custom sort inside a different container like an "album" or "collection". Having those additional container types is part of why photos are often best managed in an organizer application and not on the desktop.
    Rename the files. You can use a renaming utility program to rename the photos with numbers that will enforce your sort order when sorted by name on the desktop, like

    what do you recommend to read all orders which are not from status "technical complete" in a custom report. Is there a function module to acchieve this with good performance or what do you recommend?

    Hi Manfred,
    Since you asked about a function module for use in a custom report, it is likely that you are not looking to use a standard transaction to display the orders.
    The phase of a maintenance order can be found from the field AFIH-IPHAS, where the phases are:
    0     Outstanding
    1     Postponed (currently not used)
    2     Released
    3     Technically completed
    4     Manual deletion indicator set
    5     Historical order
    6     Completed for business (from 4.6)
    So to find non-technical complete - you would select where iphas not equal to 3. If you need to make this selection RFC capable, then you can wrap it in a RFC capable function module

  • Why will transitions in Pre8 slideshow not be accepted between some pictures and accepted between ot

    When applying transitions between pictures in a Pre8 slideshow I find that occasonally the space between the pictures will not accept a transition that I am dragging to it.  It doesn't make any difference as to which transition that I'm trying to use.  I even tried inserting them by right clicking on the space.  The frequency of occurence appears to be random.  It sometimes occurs after working  OK for as few as 2 or 3 pictures and other times it wont happen for 10 or 15 pictures.
    I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had this problem and has been successful in solving it.

    Zoom into the timeline at one of these places.
    Often, when arranging or re-arranging photos on a timeline, if you drag one clip too close to another, you actually split it and a small sliver of a clip is between the new clip and the next. When you try to apply a transition, the program can't apply one to such a small clip.
    You may also see these accidental "phantom clips" between your main clips if you temporarily switch over to sceneline mode.
    Also per the FAQs to the right of this forum and my books, if you don't ensure that your photos are no larger than 1000x750 pixels, you will overload the program and get some pretty strange behavior. Are your photos larger than 1000x750 pixels in size?
