What is customer payment advice?. Is there any T-code to get the payment advice for a customer?

Hello,
Customer of vendor payment advice is the advice informing the customer that the amount has been paid against which invoices.
You need to configure the payment advice in FBZP or give them as part of variant in F110.
When you run the automatic payment program, based on the FBZP settings, a payment advice gets triggered.
You are able to see your payment advice in SP02. To generate payment advice correctly, please make sure your settings in Variant (F110) are correct. Any invalid entries will result in NO generation of payment advice.

    Hello - We are posting a customer payment advice that contains a cash discount that is outside the payment terms.  However we still want to accept the discount.  But when we pocess the payment advice via F-28 the discount is not taken from the payment advice (i.e. the discount field is blank) when we process the open items.  Any ideas on how we can populate the discount amount when processing the open item?

    So you want discount to be automatically populated when the open item is eligibile for discount?
    There is automatic account assignment for this. Goto OBXI- give the gl account and posting key here.
    This should take care.

  • Idoc for customer payment advice

    Hi all,
    We receive Idoc for payment advice from customer. Can some body tell me how can I read this information to match the invoice.I mean how can I map Idoc field to SAP internal tables.
    How do I know which Idoc field will hit which SAP table & which table.
    So please guide me about Idoc mapping & finding appropriate field for inbound idocs.

  • Customer payment advice - where can I look up payment advice that are used

    I use FEB3 to look for payment advices created and use them to apply for payment.  Once I use the particular payment advice,  I am unable to view that advice through FEB3 again.  If I need to view the advice again,  where can I do it??

    On the initial screen of t-code F-26 (where you put in the posting date, bank account etc) you check on Pmnt advice no. in the "Additiional selections" in the lower right hand corner.  On the second screen, (where you put in the customer number)  you put in the relevant payment advice no at the bottom.
    If you are using t-code F-28,  you put the relevant payment advice no in the  "pmnt advice no" field in the lower left hand section " Open item selection" .

    While editing the unapplied payment advice in FLB1, there is an option for Fast entry, when we double click on any item which needs to be edited, it goes to Change payment advice :line item data, there is an option for fast entry again, in this screen there are many fields avaialble, is thare a way to save a line layout or screen template for this ??

  • How to seperate vendor payment advice form/customer payment advice form?

    Hi all,
    i was wondering if you could create a seperate payment advice form for
    vendors
    and
    customers.
    I used transaction code SE71 to visualize forms. Examples of payment forms for each company code can be found in customization "allocate forms to paying company code".
    The challenge that you will have to take is to seperate the payment advice for vendors and the payment advice for customers.
    Is that possible in SAP? Or is the payment advice for vendors automatically the same for customers?
    What i want to make is the following:
    - payment advice for vendors
    - payment advice for customers
    (So i can make changes in accounting clerk, addres, etc...)

    Hello Pamela,
    Payment Advice is normally unique for each Payment Method/Company Code.
    If a special treatment is required to differentiate between Customers & Vendors (Example - Special information, layout difference, special details) in the Payment Advice, you can always handle it with in the same SAP Script Form that you configure for the Payment Method/Company Code.
    Either the field KOART (Account Type) in REGUP enables you to differentiate between Customers & Vendors. Please let me know if you need some examples.

  • Payment Advice customizing - F110

    Hello Together,
    We are developing a custom payment advice sapscript form for use with the standard (RFFO*) payment programs - through transaction F110. We have assigned the new form in FBZP (payment methods per company code - form for the payment medium), and are using the same variant for the payment program. However, when executing a payment run and printing the paymetn advice slip, a standard form is being printed (we suspect F110_DE_AVIS, although in the log there is no way of seeing which form is being used)
    Could you tell me if there are any additional customizing points where I should assign the new form for it to be printed?

    Hello all,
    What is the actual purpose of Payment Advices on the customers side (Inbound). Can somebody explain me how to post the customer payment advice in the SAP system? My assumption is below; please correct me where you see I am wrong
    Customer sends the payment advice via email
    1) Enter the payment advice manually by FBE1
    2) Then goto F-28 and Enter and Clear the Customer open items against the Payment Advice. (We would received the EBS to reconcile Bank Account with the actual payment)
    Can somebody provide me valuable input regarding my understanding and questions.

    Customer payment advices are created through two processes.These are independent processes.
    1) lockbox processing - if the system did not find billing docs or payments do not match with billing doc, then system will create payment advice. Later AR clerks clears this payment advice by applying the payment to right customer & billing doc
    2) in the second process, customer pays to your bank directly and payment details were sent by EDI to you. EDI creates payment advices. You can use FBE2 & RFAVIS40 to process payment advices. These transactions call FB05 to process customer payments.

  • Vendor Payment Advice - idoc PEXR2002

    Dear guru,
    My customer would like to receive a payment advice from the bank regarding the vendor payments done.
    It means that after processing the F110 and sent the payments to the bank, we will receive an acknowledgement idoc from the bank in order to inform us that all payments have been correctly processed.
    I have seen that the idoc PEXR2002 can be used as "payment advice" with message type REMADV for instance. But all the cases that i have seen concerned customer payment advices sent directly by them.
    Is anyone know if it is possible to use this idoc in order to retrieve the payment information for vendor and not customer?
    If yes, where can we retrieve those information in SAP? Besides the table AVIK/AVIP, can we check the payment advice integration somewhere else (reports, financial document)? because in our case we just want to retrieve the confirmation of payments but there wont be clearing between payment/vendor invoice because it will have been already done at F110 processing.

    For sending Payment advice by E-Mail, "You need to copy SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and adjust it to write code as per your requirement. This BTE runs for each payment advice note to be sent and in the module, it is mentioned 1=print, 2 = Fax and I=mail, so you can set your priority, that if an E-Mail address is maintained in the vendor master, send mail or if no E-mail address is maintained send Fax, and if both are not possible shoot a Print.
    From Configuration side, you need to maintain the Z copy of SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 in FIBF transaction under the Process module of a customer without country or application indicator.

    Yeah ,
    This will be maintianing a output type for a specific order in the Nace Configuarations for output type for the application say in ur case Payment advices.
    Here u need to maintain a program name (driver program) and a form routine as Entry in the processing routines .
    You  need to write the logic in this driver program which is a Zprogram.
    Now when ever the application is run the output type is enabled and so the driver program will execute the logic pertaining to the entries created by ur transaction.
    can achieve this  with  SO_OBJECT_SEND for the customer id  .
    hope this gives u an idea ..
    i dont know about payment advices so can t elaborate more than this but the process will be same.

  • Payment advice creating residual items within customer tolerance

    There are residual items posting on customer accounts when the document number field is populated in the payment advice.  When the field is left blank, the item posts to the proper expense account for small balance.

  • OB55 Customer worklist REMADV IDOC Payment advice

    Hello,
    We are using REMADV IDOC to enter payment advices for customer open items. We have for ex 3 customers A, B and C. Customer C is entered in Customer's master data A & B as the alternative payer. (company code, payment transaction tab). Customer C sends in payment advice with payment for line items of customer A & B. The aim is thus for the system to clear them by creating a batch input.  When viewing the REMADV IDOC (FBE3) we should have in field "account value "C" but in field "alternative account" we should have either customer "A" or "B".
    This is done through the help of customer worklists. I am unable to understand how this works. How do I create a worklist?
    I tried creating one in OB55 by naming it Worklist "Customer C" REMADV. Then in Edit > Automatic Worklist > Alternative payer. In there I did not enter anything in the prefix, in offset 2, display length 8. I tried many options prefix RE, offset 2, length 6.
    but nothing is working. When integrating the REMADV IDOC, impossible for me to see in FBE3, in Alternative customer account A or B. It is always customer "C"
    Can anyone explain clearly how to create a customer worklist.

    you need to create Correspondence for the same and customise the form with the help of ABAPer according to your requirment.
    Then use the transaction Code FB03 insert Payment Document and execute Correspondence option from the menu now you need to execute T. Code F.64 for Payment advice outputs.
