Customer Sales hierarchy loading problem.

Hi All,
We are trying to load 0CUST_SALES_LKDH_HIER from R/3.
The load goes fine , but he problem is for one particular node one of the levels does not get extra cted.
For all the customers level 1 , level 2 and level 3 are extracted but for this particular customer only level 1 and 2 are extracted. We can see data for level 3 for this custoemr on the r/3 side but its not getting extracted to BW.
Please Advise how we could fix this.
Greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
HM

Hello,
Did you find an explanation and preferrably a solution for this problem?
Kind regards from Belgium,
Ben

  • Customer exit hierarchy variable problem

    Hi together,
does anyone know, how many entries I can insert into the e_t_range table?
The reason is the following. We are having a hierarchy on WBS_ELEMT. And we want to create a query which shows only the values which are on level 3. So I want to eliminate level 1 and level 2.
So I created a custEx variable, where I include every entry from the table /BI0/HWBS_ELEMT with TLEVEL = 3 for the specific hierarchy.
In the test environment everything works fine, but when I'm in the integration system the hierarchy seems to become to large and I receive an error.
Does anyone know the maximum number of selections I can do to the e_t_range? Or does anyone hay another idea, how to create a new dynamicly created hierarchy on runtimer?
    Kind Regards
    Stefan

    Hi Satria,
    Instead of following code ---
    CLEAR l_s_range-low.
    IF loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000030000'
    OR loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000010130'.
    l_s_range-low = 'MEZBUNITMDI'.
    l_s_range-high = '0HIER_NODE'.
    ELSEIF loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000040000'
    OR loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000010160'.
    l_s_range-low = 'MEZBUNITMPI'.
    l_s_range-high = '0HIER_NODE'.
    ENDIF.
    try this ---
    IF loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000030000'
    OR loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000010130'.
    l_s_range-low = 'MEZBUNITMDI'.
    ELSEIF loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000040000'
    OR loc_var_range-low EQ '000000000000010160'.
    l_s_range-low = 'MEZBUNITMPI'.
    ENDIF.
Note : whenver the option is EQ, the system takes only low value.

  • Problem during hierarchy load from ECC 6.0 to BW

    Hello,
I encountered a problem during hierarchy loads from ECC to BW:
I get the following in BW:
Error when updating Idocs in Source System
    Diagnosis
Errors have been reported in Source System during IDoc update:
Once I go into ERP and look at the IDocs I get the following message:
    Idoc Error 26:
EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (segment cannot be identified)
    Message no. E0078
    Diagnosis
The segment E1RSSH does not occur at the current level of the basic type (extension ).
This error can have several reasons:
The segment E1RSSH is assigned to a group whose header segment does not occur.
The segment E1RSSH does not exist in the syntax description of the basic type  (extension ).
The sequence of segments in the group in which the segment appears is incorrect.
Previous errors ('mandatory' segment or group missing) may be due to this error.
    Procedure
Please check the IDoc or the syntax description of the basic type  (extension ).
    Can anyone help?

The most basic setting in a BW system is its connectivity with the R/3 system (which is a basis team activity, but BI consultant can always help).
Issue: While creating source system, I am getting an error "Segment E1RSSH does not exist".
    Diagnosis
Segment E1RSSH is in the syntax description, but it does not exist.
The issue was that some of the entries in the table EDISEGMENT were missing.
As this a standard table, it is recommended to restore the table from Backup or from another BI system. (Please ask your basis team to do it.)
Now, the significance of the segments: We all know that we require 3 message types in total to communicate with R/3 system. RSRQST, RSSEND and RSINFO.
Now each of the message types has some segments which help in communication.
You can see this segment types in the t-code we30. Just enter the basic idoc type and click on display.
This error is not a common error, but can be useful if at any stage of implementation or support, the table gets disturbed and you have issues with source system connectivity.
    Thanks
    SM

  • Master Data & Hierarchy loading into BPC from BW

    HI all,
When i am getting master data and hierarchy from BW i need to replace a "-" to an "_".
These members are parents in BW.
I was able to do that using a conversion file for the master data. But when i run the hierarchy package it says parents dont exist because the nodes that were pulled before are not with a underscore and not a dash.
Ex: XXXX-XX needs to be replaced as XXXX_XX.
This member is a parent aswell. So i need to add conversion in the hierarchy load. I did that but its not taking it.
Conversion file for hierarchy load looks like this:
    External                         Internal
    XXXX-XX                          XXXX_XX
    I am on BPC NW7.5 SP6.
    Thank You all.

I think conversion file string manipulation for BW infoobject hierarchy imports has some issues.  I suggest reporting the problem to SAP support by creating a message on the Service Marketplace. Please be very clear in the message about your setup and how to recreate the problem and why you think it is a bug so that you don't receive back a reply about it being a consulting issue.  Expect some time to work through this with support and eventually development, with the goal of getting a correction note released to fix the issue.
In the meantime, you might try to do the string manipulation in the transformation file *MAPPING section instead of the conversion file.
    NODENAME=NODENAME(1:4)*STR(-)NODENAME(5:6)
or substitute NODENAME above for PARENT if that is appropriate level with the issue.

  • [SOLVED]Custom DSDT not loading - OEM battery doesn't work - Sony Vaio

EDITING ORIGINAL POST TO POST SOLUTION so I don't do a massive bump
Installed windows and ran the BIOS flasher that came with the battery. Didn't work until I changed a line in the plaintext configuration file (config.ini or something) it comes with. Changed "Capacity: 20" to "Capacity: -10". This changed the battery charge requirement from 20% to negative ten percent (any negative number will do), allowing the program to run and flash the BIOS. Didn't realize I could do that, but it fixed  the problem 100%.
    #### BEGIN ORIGINAL POST: ################################
    Hey guys,
I'm a bit of a linux noob, but I've spent many hours this week trying to fix this issue on my own and have learned a lot about making custom kernels, hardware stuff, ACPI, and ABS. However, nothing I've done has worked and I've hit a wall. For reference, I'm on a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ4000 with linux-3.0 base kernel, gnome3/gdm. The battery is made in china and doesn't list a manufacturer, just model number BPS8, 52000mAh.
    [Backstory]
So I recently got an OEM battery to replace the broken original, which hasn't worked since before I installed arch (though it worked with an Arch install I did a couple years ago). When I first plugged it in, the gnome battery symbol popped up listing the battery at 0% with an exclamation icon. I unplugged from AC power and the laptop still ran, but the battery monitor just said it was at 0% and 'Estimating' remaining time. I figured this was a glitch with gnome or just because it was this battery's first cycle so I let it run down until it hard-crashed. Then I plugged back into AC and tried to turn on the computer, but it wouldn't do anything until I removed the battery.
Looking into the problem I discovered this was due to the ACPI firmware table DSDT being compiled for Windows, which has, shall we say, fewer restrictions on sanity than the Intel ASL compiler used for UNIX systems. Sure enough I extracted /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT to find that its section about the battery contained the entry 'Zero' for Battery Technology, which translates to "non-rechargeable", rather than 'One', which makes it chargeable. acpitool confirmed this; my system thought the battery was non-rechargeable and was constantly discharging it. Needless to say I've only been putting it in temporarily to test solutions since.
    [/backstory]
[tl;dr] DSDT firmware contains malformed battery description, now I can't get my system to run with a custom DSDT. [/tl;dr]
    Attempted solutions:
    [1]
Extract, modify, recompile DSDT and include it with the kernel compilation .config options
    CONIFG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT=y
    CONFIG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT_FILE="/usr/src/custom_dsdt.hex
    CONIFG_STANDALONE=n
as suggested here, a page linked to by the arch wiki page on DSDT.
I followed the instructions but no matter what this has generated errors during the kernel compilation, sometimes due to every line containing unexpected \231 (or other numbers) characters, sometimes finding some error in the DSDT file and then claiming that the driver it was compiling (ol.c somewhere in the drivers/acpi section I believe) had references to undefined functions all over the place. I CANNOT compile with a custom DSDT specified.
    [2]
Place recompiled DSDT in /lib/initcpio/custom.dsdt and add 'dsdt' to the HOOKS in mkinitcpio (and rebuild the initramfs-linux-*.img, of course). Another version of this included recompiling the kernel with CONFIG_STANDALONE disabled.
In neither of these situations has the running DSDT ever been anything but the BIOS-supplied one and not once has the battery shown any different behavior.
acpitool and $ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info have consistently claimed the information specified in the BIOS-supplied DSDT; the battery is non-rechargeable and is discharging at an unknown rate. Sometimes acpi will even report that the battery has zero capacity.
The arch wiki does say mkinitcpio doesn't support the dsdt hook as of 2.6.30, but [1] didn't work either and mkinitcpio -H dsdt still told me to try this so I did.
    [3]
    The final solution I have tried has been to do [2] but to recompile the kernel with the legacy support for battery and ac adapter stuff disabled. I tried this because it was suggested in the kernel.log;
Sep  13 11:51:03 localhost kernel: [   11.740059] ACPI: Deprecated procfs I/F for AC is loaded, please retry with CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER cleared
    Sep  13 11:51:03 localhost kernel: [   11.753434] ACPI: AC Adapter [ADP1] (on-line)
    The corresponding line now reads
    ACPI: AC Adapter [ADP1] (on-line)
(The same goes for the battery BAT0)
but all this does is remove the battery/ and adp1/ folders from /proc/acpi/ and break acpitool functionality. The log still doesn't mention the dsdt hook, either.
    [4]
The old way to do this was to use the acpi-dsdt-initrd-patch-* patch, but that hasn't been updated for modern kernels, presumably because of the new "functionality" from mkiniticpio. The current kernel .config doesn't include any options for ACPI initrd/initramfs support or reading a DSDT from initramfs, which is the functionality provided by this patch.
This covers all the methods I've been able to find on the internet and I'm at a loss for what to do. Am I doing something wrong in [1]? Under what conditions will the compiler fail/succeed with a CONFIG_ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT_FILE?
When I recompile I fix the 'Zero' definition and a couple compiler errors and warnings. The errors come from section length definitions, which read as 0x00000000 rather than the appropriate max-min value so I fix those, and the warnings come from _T_* methods belonging to the compiler, so I refactor the code to remove the initial underscores. The last warning comes from an isolated And statement that's within brackets (compiler complains it doesn't do anything), but if I remove that the compiler fails hard.
Thanks to anyone who's read this far.  Please let me know if you have any ideas how to get my system to use a customized DSDT.

Thanks for the offer, Radioactive man However, I'm actually compiling a customized kernel with the linux-ck and -sony patches, so your packages won't help. (The custom kernel works fine and I've tested this battery behavior on the the regular, -ck, and -sony kernels as well)
Anyway, so I tried another compile with
CONFIG_PREVENT_FIRMWARE_BUILD=n in addition to the options listed in [1] and that time it compiled.
Unfortunately it still didn't load the DSDT!
    I did catch a quick little error message that turned up in kernel.log though;
/var/log/kernel.log:Sep 15 11:50:24 localhost kernel: [    0.925780] acerhdf: unknown (unsupported) BIOS version Sony Corporation/VGN-FZ4000E/R2110J7, please report, aborting!
acerhdf is a fan controller module for the Aspire One, and perhaps I left that in the kernel config and it's preventing the custom DSDT from loading, even though the acerhdf module never gets loaded itself, nor is it in my rc.conf or anything else... If that was the cause of all this, I'm gonna be angry...
Anyway, this message does not appear with my latest kernel build because I took off the custom DSDT option, hoping to be able to use ACPI_CUSTOM_METHOD=y, which supposedly allows one to inject a custom AML method into a debug fs. It wouldn't have worked anyway, as it doesn't let you modify Device sections, but even with a dummy method insertion it didn't give my root modification privileges as it was supposed to...
Will try recompiling AGAIN with this CONFIG_ACERHDF=n (it's simply 'not set' in my current .config), while also enabling the custom kernel etc. If this doesn't work I have no idea what I'll do.
Anyway, thanks for your help and time:

Is this only happening in your production system?  Have you tried loading the hierarchy file to your development or acceptance system?
I've seen this error occur when the authorizations are not set up for loading hierarchies (i.e. maybe they can only be loaded via process chains under the remote ID used for process chains, and not using your own ID).  That's why I was suggesting you try to load the same file to your dev and acc systems and see if you get the same error.  Sometimes this error is thrown for other reasons and does not really have to do with the file being loaded or the hierarchy missing.
Also, if you're loading from the App Server, double-check that you have the Application Server radio button selected on the tab where you select the file path.
    Good luck!

  • Hierarchy Data not saved after Hierarchy Load

    Hi Gurus,
I am facing a problem with the hierarchy data load in SAP BPC NW 7.5 SP06. I have already used /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER & /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER once to load the data from BI to BPC and it worked fine that time.
Now I have made some changes in the Hierarchy at the BI side. When I run the package link list, the /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER chain runs fine and the master data, description for Attribute and Hierarchies are loaded perfectly. But whn the /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER is run, the changes are not saved in the BPC Member sheet. I have manually make the changes in the member sheet and Process the Dimension.
Can we process the Dimension explicitly after the Hierarchy load again?
Does anyone have an idea about this?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

    Abhishek,
Double check whether  /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER is bringing all the ID's,Texts and Hierarchy Nodes. If required drop the data from dimesion member sheet and load it again.
Double check the Hierarchy and level setup while running /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER.
(when we are in SP05, it was not bringing the multiple Hierarchies, now we are in SP07 loading multiple hierarchies but not the TEXT fo the Id's some inconsistency)
    Thanks

  • Sales Hierarchy

    Hi
Path for sales hierarchy also steps.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Hema

<b>Customer hierarchies</b> are used when a customer has a complex chain or organizational structure in which all or some of the parts of this structure will benefit from an agreement made for the customer’s company as a whole. For example, a large customer may have dependent offices, each responsible for their own purchasing, and as individuals, they would not benefit from a global pricing scheme. However, as part of a customer’s hierarchy, they would still benefit from
being associated with the larger parent company.  Before setting out and maintaining a customer hierarchy, one needs to determine what the requirement for the hierarchy is. If the requirement is a report, such as reporting bookings or
billings for global customers within a hierarchy, this can be done using a standard reporting hierarchy within the sales information system, Should the
desire be merely to offer prices according to a specific group, one could think about using a customer group on the customer master record, rather than a customer hierarchy.
If, on the other hand, one wants to have a customer hierarchy in order to offer special price agreements or rebates across a customer’s organization on a global level, which may not be covered by a standard grouping, this can be covered by using the customer hierarchy.  The customer hierarchy integrates and relies on the partner determination in conjunction with the customer hierarchy settings in order to promote the linking between the customers. The partner determination causes the customer hierarchy to be represented in the sales document. The
customer hierarchy is a hierarchical organizational structure that consists of higher and lower level nodes. Each node is assigned within the structure to form a graphical diagram of the customer’s organization.
A node is represented by an account group. A node can be a customer, such as a sold-to party, thus account group 0001. A node could also be a platform or merely an organizational department; thus, we have account group 0012. A customer hierarchy can only have a maximum  of 26 hierarchy levels. One creates a customer hierarchy by first defining the hierarchy type.  Menu Path
The menu path here is IMG, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customers, Customer hierarchy, Define hierarchy types.  Transaction Code  OVH1.
For e.g.we have a customer hierarchy type A. This is assigned to the partner function1A, which is the highest node of the partner represented in the hierarchy. There should not be a need for you to create more than one hierarchy type, as you can only assign one hierarchy type per sales document type, The only time you may need a new hierarchy type is when one uses a different hierarchy for different business transactions.
One can now proceed to create the associated partner determinations for customer hierarchies.  Creating the associated partner determinations for customer hierarchies can be done by going to IMG, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customers, Customer hierarchy, Set partner determination for hierarchy categories.  Transaction Code  VOPA.
One can assign partner functions up to 26 levels, from 1A through to 1Z. . It is advisable to set the partner function as not changeable and one also needs to
maintain the source as a B, representing a customer hierarchy. This should be carried out for the sales document header and the billing document header, as one may need the hierarchy to be represented in both document types.
Be careful also to maintain enough partner determination levels as are needed to represent the customer’s structure. For example, let’s say the customer’s company had seven levels in the hierarchy, and we only maintained five levels in the partner determination. The system would only copy data relevant to the five maintained levels into the sales document, and thus would only search for condition records up to the five levels of partners.  After the partner determination has been maintained, one needs to maintain the association between the higher and lower level customer account groups. As we know, the hierarchy is formed by a linking of account groups, and we need to maintain what account groups are to be linked Menu Path  IMG, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customers, Customer hierarchy, Assign account groups.
    Transaction Code  OVH2.
Here one assigns which account group can be assigned to a higher level account group, per the customer hierarchy type. For example, we can see for hierarchy type A that a sold-to party (0001) can be assigned to another sold-to party (0001), while a sold-to party (0001) can also be assigned to a payer (0003) and a hierarchy node (0012). Further down the table, we see that a hierarchy node (0012) can also be assigned to a sold-to party. This is logically assigning account groups, but if we do not introduce some form of organizational definition, the hierarchy could easily run out of control, especially because the system would not have a definitive organizational path to follow for condition records. Thus, one needs to assign lower level sales areas to higher level sales areas.
Menu Path  Assigning lower level sales areas to higher level sales areas is done through IMG, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customers, Customer hierarchy, Assign sales areas.  Transaction Code  OVH3.
Now that all the master data is maintained, other than the creation of the actual hierarchy itself, one needs to assign the hierarchy type to the actual sales document type. Menu Path  IMG, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customers, Customer hierarchy, Assign hierarchy type for pricing by sales document type. Transaction Code  OVH4]. This simple assignment of the hierarchy type, such as A to a sales document type OR  (or TA ) means that you cannot have more than one hierarchy type per sales document, but you can have more than one customer hierarchy within the hierarchy type.
The only step to be carried out is the creation of the hierarchy to match that of the customer.Let’s use the example that our customer International  is a global account with branches represented in Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Each branch in these areas is further broken down into a national office and a subsequent regional office. Due to the size of the customer, we offer all &#30340;nternational  regional offices across the globe the same pricing discount of 10 percent off all our products. This would be represented in a hierarchy.  Menu Path
To create this hierarchy, go to Logistics, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Customer hierarchy, Change.  Transaction Code
VDH1. Do not forget to create the customer hierarchy nodes in the same way
that you would create all customer master records either using [VD01] with the account group 0012 or using the path. Got to Logistics, Sales and distribution, Master data, Business partners, Hierarchy nodes, Create transaction code V-12.
Also do not forget to indicate the customers or nodes as relevant for customer hierarchy-specific pricing and/or rebates. This is done by setting the indicators on the billing screen of the customer master .
following nodes and customers can be created:
Customer:   10011—Munich Regional office of  Account group 0001
International  Node:   10051—Germany–National office   Account group 0012
    Node:   10052—Europe  Account group 0012
    Node:   10054—Africa   Account group 0012
    Node:   10055—Americas   Account group 0012
    Node:   10056—Asia   Account group 0012
Node:   10053—International—Global account   Account group 0012
On creation of the hierarchy node using transaction code VDH1, one must select the Create assignment button and then enter the higher level and the assigned lower level node.
When creating a sales order, one can clearly see the customer hierarchy in the partner’s overview,
Sales document  If you do not initially see the hierarchy, note the four buttons at the bottom of the display, and Click Select All Partners
This concludes the determination of the customer hierarchy. Its usefulness remains in that it can be used in conjunction with the condition technique to offer discounts, surcharges, or special pricing. Do not forget that if the sole purpose of your customer hierarchy is to report bookings or billings in a hierarchical form, this can be done by using the standard logistics information systems (LIS) hierarchies.

  • Customer sales return - excise inv creation issue

    Dear expert,
We are testing the "Customer sales Return" scenario for one of our client. Our process is,
    1. Create sales return order (VA01) with ref or without reference
    2. Create return delivery (VL01N)
    3. Perform Post goods Receipt (VL02N)
    4. Create Credit Note (VF01) - Here in this case we are differ. We are creating the "Credit Note" with reference to return delivery not with ref to sales return order
Since we planned to create the credit note with reference to "Return delivery", we have defined the CIN related customizing as "Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types".
Then we tried to create the excise Invoice using Transaction J1IIN. But we are getting the error message as

Kindly give your suggestion to overcome this issue.
    Warm Regards,
    Nag

    Dear Experts,
             Thanks for your quick response.
Yes, already we maintained the billing relevance field in item category maintained as "A" & Copy contorl in VTFL also. Due to this we can able to create the "credit Note" in Transaction VF01. But during excise Invoice creation only we are facing the above mentioned issue.
Feedback for the response from SDL:-
Yes, we came to know that, for customer sales return process we need to raise a JV only not the excise invoice creation in J1IIN. But we are in the assumption that, this scenario is applicable of we are creating the "Credit Note" with reference to return sales order.
But in our case, we are creating the "Credit Note" with reference to "Return delivery". Since delivery is involved in the process we are in the assumption that we can able to create the excise invoice using J1IIN after maintaining the configuration in the "Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types" area.
Please give your valuable feedback on this.
    Warm Regards,
    Nag

  • Error in WBS Element Hierarchy load after ECC 6.0 Upgrade

    Hi All,
After ECC 6.0 Upgrade in R/3, we are doing test load in a Test server. While doing, we have encountered an issue with 0WBS_ELEMENT Hierarchy load. The message in the monitor is like below.
"Node ID 00014240 has not been included in the hierarchy
    Message no. RH207"
When I run the same hierarchy in another system which is not upgraded , it works fine.
Anybody has faced similar kind of issues and can throw some light on this issue?
    Thanks,
    Mohan

Try activating the Heirarchy in R/3 and re-trigger the load, error is very specific to structure of the hierarchy. there is a possibility that this Hierarcy could have got inconsistent after the upgrade.
    Thanks,
    Amit

  • Consumer/customer relations payment load report

is there any standard report for Consumer/customer relations payment load report.....for country specific

    Hi Rajan,
There is a lot of scope for performance tuning the code:
    1. Read statement should be with BINARY SEARCH
    2. Select statement should have FIELDS in the same order as they exist in the table
    3. Select statement where clause should have fields in same order as they exist in the table.
    4. Internal tables seem to be having a huge number of fields. If possible, please limit the fields to only required fields in the internal table.
    Best regards,
    Prashant

  • A report to show 2008 Customer Sales by State.

My customer needs a report to show 2008 Customer Sales by State.  I don't see any SAP reports that will do this.  Is the state held in any of the document files that I could use to create a query??  Or does anyone have a query that reports this information?

    Try using following query:
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.DocNum, T0.DocDate, T0.DocTotal, T1.State
    FROM OINV T0
    INNER JOIN CRD1 T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode
    AND T0.ShipToCode = T1.Address
Though A/R Invoice, does not store the state code separately, it does store the addresscode, which was used for shipping, which could be linked to the Addresses table. Though if the user changes the address manually, than there is no other way, but to do some programming and find the address name, though it will be pretty difficult, because users might not always be correct with their spellings.

  • Changing Payment terms for customer Sales Order

    Hi,
I have a requirement like scenario below :
    1. Customer sales orders are billed with X payment terms (Not installment).
    2. Subsequently, Customers agree for installment terms.
    3. A need arises to change ONLY the payment terms on the  existing billing document (without cancelling existing billing document)
    4. Is this achievable ? Via VF02 or FB02 ? Or any other means ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Bala

You cannot change the terms through the VF02; however, you can change under FB02.  Go into the accounting document you would like to change, double click on the customer account posting and you should see the payment terms highlighted for you to change.
If you do not see it changeable, it is due to security.
    Hope that helped.
