What do you have to do to get a response from customer services?
So far spent over an hour in the last two days on hold - only to get nowhere....
I'm trying to find out where the N800 I ordered on Thursday (shipped Friday by express delivery) has got to. I can't even get a tracking number...
Getting very annoyed with the poor service

    Some more details: on my products, i would need a fixed template with some info that should not be removable by clients (such as the weight), and i need to be able to pré-define areas on my products where customers can add text and others where they can upload a picture, resize it, zoom in and out, etc.

  • Customer service - Online chat (anyone know what happened to it)?

    Because I don't think it is healthy for me to call Adobe support any longer (bottling up anger, frustration, rage, etc... is dangerous for one's health). Actually, I am usually a calm/jovial person, that is, until I began this Captivate 4/Connect Pro project. But after the last few tech 'support' calls to Adobe, I am worried that this faking politeness may be affecting my health.
    Anyhow, I thought I would try out my luck with the Adobe chat system. I have had successes in the past with this service. Unfortunately, I noticed that for the longest time, the chat system has been unavailable with the message:
    OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALISTS ARE OFFLINE NOW. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.
    Does anyone know the status of this service?

  • Customer Service online?

    What a load of crock this is!  I had to search all over Verizon's website for ONE email link.  I am moving and right now, I have Time Warner for my phone and internet service, which seems a little high.  I wanted to talk to someone about my past account (since I have left them), just to see if anything was due.  I had already turned off my phone service from Time Warner, because I am going to be moving around the block, in a about 2 to 3 weeks.  Well, I emailed them and I got a response, but I can't read it because I AM NOT A CUSTOMER!  They want me to sign into the website, to read it.  I don't have the username or password, because I haven't been a customer for about a year now!  Isn't there some other way to contact them, besides calling, because we ALL know how well that is!  I was going to switch back to Verizon because I saw the commercial with the new hub and that would be great for me, but if this is how Verizon is...{please keep your posts courteous}

    Since I can't seem to log in with my OTHER ID (kelly1), because it keeps giving me "login failure", I had to RESIGN up.  Anyways Charles, that is the link that I went to originally and sent the email that way.  The problem is (and I don't know if you really read my original post)...the problem is I CAN NOT get to the EMAIL REPLY that was sent to me.  I am NOT a member of Verizon, but WAS considering becoming one.  How can I ACCESS this email if I am not a customer yet?  I CAN'T.  Is there another way to contact via online, where they can reply to MY EMAIL BOX, or give me the password and username to sign in?

  • Customer Service is USELESS and they LIE

    I spend about $250/month with this "business" but maybe not much longer.  I have 4 X1 boxes and 2 Digital HD adapters.  One adapter had issues (no sound on select channels (I hooked TV up to the other adapter and it worked fine so box was problem) so I returned it to a local service center.  The positive was the new service center in Bolingbrook IL was well staffed and handled exchange very well and the young man seemed knowledgable.  Unfortunately the positives ended there.  When I got home I called to activate the new Digital HD box.  After 15 minutes I had something - just NOT WHAT I PAY FOR.  I received the basic channels but nothing else.  I called back an hour later and spent another 15 minutes on phone (they said give it 30 minutes to update).  Still had same basic channels, no HD channels and not all the 200+ I should have.  Called back 2 hours later and after 30 minutes the young lady said she could not resolve the issue because she was an X1 specialist so she said she would transfer me to an area that handled Digital Adapters - after 4-5 minutes I get someone that it was basically a cold call to - knew nothing about the hour I previously spent on the phone.  He said that since I was an "X1" customer her could not help but tried.  I asked to speak with a supervisor but was told "he was in a meeting with "Comcast people" and he could not interupt but would leave a message to call me back.  Guess what - 5 hours later NO CALLBACK.  So much for the Customer Care Guarantee or whatever they call it for PR purposes.  At least they found the time to replace 30 Rock with Comcast huh??  Oh, and their surveys - 2 times I said call me back - guess what - NO CALLBACK there either.  And as so many customers no X1 still has so many problems - what 1-2 years after being introduced??  ATT internet may be slower but getting to point I'm thinking it can't be worse.  And contacting their "VP of Customer Service" online - what a sham..  Just a room of clerks that do nothing but leave messages and the next one knows zip about the previous ones.  How they got as big as they are is unreal given their poor poor poor customer service.

    When my 4th call took place this morning they finally said they would send a tech out ON TUESDAY. Since the problem is not the box I guess he/she will end up talking to the same people. The problem is that the backend codes they are sending do not recognize the services I pay for. This happened before but it just seems like no one there understands that

  • BEST BUY ONLINE NEEDS SOME HELP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE HELPFUL

    After having just spent an hour trying to order something that the website says was in stock, and then finding it really wasn't available, it became obvious to me that Best Buy online leaves something to be desired.  It seems like a classic bait and switch.  Get people to the website with a low priced "deal", only to find it isn't available, however a more expensive version is available.  
    So, I call customer service.  I get someone who assures me the order will go through, provide my credit card, redeem my points, and only to find it would not work after all, as it didn't for me.  So I ask for a supervisor.   And I get someone who says "I don't know" and has no answers except that this is the way it is.  To add salt to the wound, he announces that unlocked phones cannot be ordered via telephone.  When asked why the rep didn't know that, yes, another "I don't know".  
    As a Best Buy customer who spends way too much money at Best Buy, I find this entire situation unacceptable.  As they say, vote with your feet, I will be exploring other stores to spend my money at.  A website that says something is available, and then isn't, simply is bad business.  And customer service who can only say "I don't know" isn't really customer service at all.   
    A "out of the box" idea would be to listen to what I'm saying, and fix it; this isn't the first time this has happened.  Simply saying "I don't know" is only irritating customers who are trying to buy things from Best Buy.  I am so frustrated with the situation and I assure you I will look elsewhere for future needs/wants.

  • Better Customer Service, More Uniform System Online and by Phone

    My Story:
    All of my problems started off with such a simple mistake: the street name for my new house wasn't updated in the Verizon system. I'm a stickler for things being done right, so when I can I fill out forms online rather than over the phone so I can verify that everything has been done correct. I also chose to do self installation. I understand the reasons for only shipping to the address listed as the primary service address, but when the address is incorrect what can I do? The postal service stopped delivering to the street name Verizon presented so it was no surprise when our packages were rejected and sent back. 
    At this point, if I wanted my services enabled in the near future, I needed to get a local Verizon representative involved. I was told the only way I could fix it was to cancel my self install order and have them setup a new order under a Verizon install. I was ensured that the order would be done exactly as I had it, but I have had to call support at least twice a month since we setup the new order. We had to wait a week for the serviceman to show up, and he said he only had internet on his order, no TV. After several phone calls they found the mistake and setup another appointment for TV, also a week out.  Then the bills started coming in. They charged us for the time that passed since my first order (which had been canceled) so I was charged for a period when I didn't have any Verizon services. Then the bundle discounts weren't being applied. Another call fixed this. I also took advantage of a promotional discount to combine my Fios and Verizon Wireless bill and receive another discount for doing that. This never went through. I kept calling and they told me to wait another billing cycle for it to become active. Never happened. I called again and finally someone told me this was never listed on my order (the second one) and the promotion was no longer offered so there was nothing they could do.
    My Request
    I have never had such horrible customer service and it's only further encouraged me not to trust service representatives. It should be just as easy to pick up a phone and place an order as it is to make the order online. Furthermore, if I place an order with discounts that expired the next day, I shouldn't have to lose them when I call the next week to complain that my packages never arrived. It wasn't my fault, and then to have service representatives tell me to be patient, it'll get fixed with time and then finally be told it's too late to fix it. That's cheating the customer. I expected better when I switched to Verizon.

    You may also be able to access https://store.apple.com/ in Safari, log into your account, and review recent purchases (and cancel any that haven't shipped yet).

    This does NOT work!  It only gives you so-called information but does NOT connect you to a service rep/live operator/whatever you want to call it!  I was "lucky" enough to somehow get connect with someone and then got disconnected just as it looked like we were getting somewhere.  I've been trying for the last 15 minutes or so to get reconnected, with absolutely no luck.  I can't call in for help since I need to be pressing buttons on my phone as I get info from the tech support person.  Here is the transcript of our "conversation:"

    It was at this point that we got disconnected!  This site is worthless, as is the advice I've gotten every time I've ever had to get help at the Verizon stores.

  • Terrible Online & Customer Service Purchase Experience!

    Tried to purchase a cell phone online and everything appeared ok. I received the email letting me know the purchase was complete, I then received a 2nd email stating,"We're sorry, but an item on your order placed on July 11, 2014 has been canceled because we were unable to verify your information."
    I called the number listed in the email to find out why this occurred and the gentleman I spoke to advised me that he does not have access to that information and would put a request in for someone to get back to me. I asked him how long that would take and he advised me 2-3 weeks!
    I hung up with him and called to place the order with a customer service representative instead of using the website. I even used a different credit card just in case. Well, guess what? Exact same scenario happened again!
    I finally completed my purchase by visiting the store the following day and used the same credit card that I used the night before.
    This is totally unacceptable and Best Buy should be ashamed that they denying customer purchases and unable to tell them the reason why!

    Generally, when you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order, but this is not a confirmation that it will be completed.  Usually when we cancel an order due to being “unable to confirm your information” it is because something in your order information is not matching up.  This could be anything from a misspelling in your billing and shipping information to the billing address on your BestBuy.com account not matching the billing address on your credit card. 
    To get more specific information, our agents would need to have your case reviewed with our support team, which can generally take about 5-7 business days.  I apologize if the agent exaggerated that it would take 2-3 weeks.  I would recommend that should you choose to place an order again with us in the future, you look over your information to make sure that everything is correct.  This should hopefully eliminate any issues; you can also review our Conditions of Use for BestBuy.com here.

  • I was told by Borders customer service that I have to add them as a "trusted site" to avoid an error message when sttempting to use the shopping cart. Is this true, and how do I do it?

    When I go to "checkout" on Borders.com, I get an error message. The message is as follows:
    [ServletException in:/ConsumerDirectStorefrontAssetStore/ShoppingArea/ShopcartSection/body.jsp] null'
    I have tried refreshing, clearing cookies, and everything I can think of. Customer service told me it had to do with security settings, and that I had to add it to my trusted sites. I have never had to do this before, so I'm jsut wondering if this was true, and how to do it.

    Are they multi-function units? Do they include a scanner? Most people call these multi-function copiers, not printers. Printers don't have a scanner in them.
    Give us some specifics as to the brands and models you have tried.

  • The Worst Customer Service of My Life and Why I Will Never Shop at Best Buy Again

    This afternoon I decided I wanted to buy a Playstation 4. I discovered, while browsing Best Buy's website, an offer to trade in a PS3 Slim and controllers for $100 +$10 per controller. I took in the console, three controllers, and two games valued at $12 and $5 respectively for a total of $147 in trade in value. I knew what I was supposed to be getting when I walked in the door.
    So I enter store #1155 (Charlotte-Northlake) with the intention of trading in my PS3 and accessories, for a PS4 Destiny bundle. A very simple transaction, that could have easily been handled quickly (and was later handled quickly and painlessly by GameStop). I approach the desk and encounter this lethargic looking automaton named Ashlyn. Or something like that. I explain to her what I want to do, and how much I expect to get out of the trade in. She says "Well, you'll get whatever comes up on the thingy". So I set my console, 3 controllers, 3 cords (HDMI, power, controller), and two games on the counter next to the thingy (computer) and she proceeds to test to see if the console works. She incompetently moves the device and power cord over to the plug in station/screen to see if it works. After much confusion over which plug goes in what hole (I literally watched her try to plug the power cord into the HDMI slot), they stand around trying to turn on the controllers and connect them to the console. She finally discovers she needs the controller cord and asks me for it. I look on the counter to discover that it is no longer there. So I run out to the car to see if it's there, and it isn't. I come back in, and ask her if maybe she dropped it when she picked up the power cord, and she looks at someone else and says in her best impression of an incredibly rude person, "He only brought in two cords". I told her to look on the floor, and of course she found it. So they plug everything in, everything works, great. Now punch in whatever it is you punch in on the thingy and give me my PS4. Nope. Now she has to spend 20 minutes sighing and shaking her head at the computer while repeatedly asking me if my PS3 slim "is 500 GB" to which I respond, literally every time, yes. Eventually she gets help from a distracted eastern european co-worker who asks me "How much is it?" and I say "100" to which Ashlyn replies in another fantastic impression of a terrible customer service worker "He told me it was 500". I clarified that I meant $100 and 500 GB and they proceed to shake their heads and sigh at the screen as they fail to understand what I can only assume were heiroglyphics. So at this point Ashlyn has called me a liar twice, and has not once made eye contact with me, or attempted even the most basic customer service. She finally comes to the price of $117 dollars which I say "That's not right, did you get the controllers?" Naturally she did not. But also neither of them knew how to use the heiroglyphic thingy in front of them, so finally they said "Well, we can't do it in our system, so you'll have to take $117". I said no, took my stuff, and walked out. Ashlyn is a terrible customer service "specialist" and should be quickly fired.
    Part 2:
    So shaking and fuming I walk out the door to my car with my console and accessories in tow, and decide to call the other Best Buy near me at Concord Mills (Store #268). So I call, explain what I went through, and the girl on the other end of the line says "Oh, some people just don't know where to find the the right thing to do it" and said I could come down there and get it taken care of. So I head down to Concord Mills with hopes of finally making my simple transaction. I get there, tell the girl at the desk what happened, she more or less ignored me, and said she had to take it in the back and test it. Fine, do your thing. She comes back, and says "Where did you see the hundred dollar thing?" so I look it up, and WHILE I'm looking it up she says "I know what deal you're talking about, but I can only give you $40 dollars because this is in poor condition" once again in what I can only assume is corporate standard "Terrible Customer Service Rep Tone". I told her that a console is still in good condition if nothing is broken and it works perfectly, and that a few scratches don't mean "poor condition", this isn't a disc. She says "I'm not marking this as good condition, all I'll give you is $40." so I angrily picked up my stuff, and walked over to the GameStop in the nearby mall. Told him what happened, he took the console, checked that it worked, gave me $140 for everything, I paid the difference for a PS4 and they sent me on my way. 15 minutes. 2 hours of rude customer service reps at Best Buy sent me to GameStop, and I will honestly never set foot in Best Buy again.
    So that's my story.

    My younger brother got his hands on his own PlayStation 4 a few months ago, and ever since then, I don’t think he’s talked about anything else. In fact, whenever I go to my parents’ house for a visit, I can always hear him discussing game strategy with his friends through his headset.  While I’m not much of a gamer myself, I certainly understand the PS4’s appeal, so I can see why you were excited to take advantage of our Sony PS3 Slim Trade-In offer and trade up to the new console.  It’s disappointing to hear that your visit didn’t go as smoothly as planned though, and I’m sorry for any frustration this caused while you tried to figure this out on your own.
    With any trade-in offer, we should always be assessing the item in question to determine its condition. This is done to make sure you are getting the best offer possible. An item may fall under in four categories - Good, Fair, Poor and Substantially Impaired/Not Working (see here for descriptions). As Ashlyn wanted to figure out which category your PS3 Slim fell under, she took the time to see if your console powered on and made sure your controllers worked properly. This doesn’t explain why she may have had difficulties adding on your controllers to the promotion though. If an associate isn’t sure about how to do something within our systems, they should be asking a member of leadership for guidance.  I’m sorry if oversight caused you to leave the store unsatisfied.  
    Having said this, I appreciate it that you were willing to provide us a second chance and visited our Concord Mills store.  I can understand your frustration though if this store didn’t feel that your console met the terms of the promotion and therefore didn’t meet minimum $100.00 offer. In the terms and conditions of the trade-in offer, we do state that the console must be in good condition to qualify. I truly apologize for this discrepancy. Regardless, I’m glad to hear that you were able to trade in your PS3 Slim for a new PS4 console, even if it wasn’t through us.  
    Experiences like the one you describe are never ones we like to hear, but thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to let us know about it. As a company, we realize there may be areas in need of improvement, and without feedback like yours, we wouldn’t be able to identify them properly to promote better service. Please know that I have documented your concerns as this a great opportunity for the store to learn from, and it is my hope that you give us a second chance in the near future.

    The below is my shopping experience in Apple Online shop:
    I order a new ipad to my freind as a gift on 11Aug2010. I just wanted to clarify the derivery date as my friend would leave HongKon from 24Aug.
    Therefore,I have tried to contact HK Apple hotline and Courier(TNT), I kept calling them during 2.5 hours but no one pickup the phone or their lines were always busy. They just gave me some music and asked to wait unit it hang up. I visited their website, ask me to contact them via their ??HOTLINE?? I wasted my time and money(long distance calls).
    I cant find any enquiry e-mail in your website and forum. Therefore I suggest to add a forum regarding Customer Service, as a pathform of us to discuss about your customer service.
    finally, I am very disappointed about the service of HK Apple Shop, I will not order any products from your online shop if i need to wait for your delivery.
    I would be gratful if you consider my suggestion.
