Customize Standard Integrator LOV

Hi All,
I am using 'Projects - Transaction Import' Web ADI, I wan to restrict Transaction Source and Expenditure type LOV values, I have created new custom components, but I am not able to attach, because its disabled to update/Date. As per oracle only custom Integrator are allowed to update/Delte
Is there any way to accomplish this?

Thanks for the reply. If the values for the select one choice are static values, even in this case, do we need to define a seperate VO for this and specify the same as LOV criteria in the ViewObject.

Standard integration 2.0 from SFSF Recruiting to SAP HR

Hi,
we are going to utilize the standard integration 2.0 from SFSF Recruiting to SAP HR. However, I haven't found any information how to automize the transaction which actually transfers the data from SFSF Recruiting to SAP HR (I assume it will replace the transaction HRSFI_RCT_HIRE). Can it be scheduled as a background job or what would be the best approach to set automatism?
Have anyone already implemented the add-on 2.0 from SFSF Recruiting to SAP HR?

SFSF job applications can be imported to SAP by scheduling report RH_SFI_IMPORT_RECRUITING_DATA.
Once job applications are imported from SFSF to SAP, data appears in the staging area (transaction HRSFI_RCT_HIRE). As delivered, hiring process via this transaction is a manual process and cannot be automated.

Web ADI-Custom Integrator- LOV value selected is not populating in the cell

I have a custom integrator, created a layout and mapping
and I have update the BNE_INTERFACE_COLS_B table for the column that I want as an LOV.

On my end I have the same issue but one of my LOVs is not populating the cell while the other does. But I never performed any of the action you mentionned.
So I would like to try your solution for the remaining LOV that does not populate my Excel cell. What is the purpose of "Then create a web adi function and attach to web adi menu.Call form function association integrator and attach the form function to your integrator.( Interface_cols)"? and what kind of "function" should we create?

Error while testing Customizations in Integrated Weblogic server

For the above error, I commented the references of oracle.as.scheduler.RuntimeServiceRemote and oracle.as.scheduler.MetadataServiceRemote(I got an error for this EJB also) in web.xml.
When I tried to run the page then, the deployment got completed and the browser is opened for the page, but got the below exception when the page is loaded.

Customize Standard Purchase Order template

We have requirement to customize the 'Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet', XSL template. I am trying to follow the below approach;
1. Use standard oracle template 'PO_STANDARD_XSLFO.xsl' and customize it as per client requirements.
2. Create a template definition 'XX Custom Purchase Order stylesheet' similar to 'Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet' in 'Purchasing' responsibility and upload my custom template.
3. Navigate to Purchasing Super User > Setup > Purchasing > Document Types > 'Purchase Order Standard' > Update Document Type layout > replace 'Standard Purchase Order Stylesheet' with 'XX Custom Purchase Order stylesheet'.
Please let me know if i have missed any steps.

Another approach is to create a new RTF using the tags generated by the PO Output for Communication program. The tags are generated by the columns in the PO_XXX_XML views.

Customize standard PDF layout for PO Report

Hi,
I need to customize the layout of standard PO report in R12 instance.
Navigation Path:Purchasing Vision Operations (USA) -->Buyer Work Center -->Orders
Under view : My open orders,click on a specific PO number.
At the detail level,on the top right side Actions seleceted as 'View PDF' and then click on GO button.
The PO report output opened in a PDF format.Here I need to do some modifications for the customization report.
So could you please tell me where do I start from.The changes that I did should be shown in the PDF PO report Output.
One more query is : How can I indentify this PDF PO report output belongs to which concurrent program?

Your buyer work center form basically points to standard PO functionality and bring all info in 1 page for buyer. Please check PO Output for Communication process for details.
One more query is : How can I indentify this PDF PO report output belongs to which concurrent program?
Ans : I believe "PO Output for Communication" ( it's a request in POXPOPDF module) which generate the PDF, its a Java concurrent program.*

How to customize standard BCT InfoCubes?

I am new to BI.I got one scenario like adding 2 new user defined InfoObjects into the cube along with standard business content infoobjects which i delivered with BCT InfoCube (eg:0PAPA_C01).Is it possible to use the same infocube enhance with 2 new InfoObject?. how can we customize the standard iinfocube?. is this recommanded?. or we need to use BCT infocube as a templet for zcube?.

As said in the previous posts we can enhance the standard cubes, but is not recommonded, Better u make a copy of the stardard cube and do the necessary changes to this new cube.

HR Create Standalone Query Integrator - LOV as parameter type?

Our customer wants to download data from a view with filters on various fields. We accomplished this using a download integrator and created restrictions via Standalone Query with various where clause parameters to the view(using HR Create Standalone Query Integrator). While this addressed customer's requirement they are seeing lot of users entering wrong data for the parameter value and causing bad SQLs hitting the database. Customer wants to make sure they dont let end users enter the wrong values in the run time parameter and requesting to make the parameter prompt value to be a LOV type where they are forced to choose one of the valid value.
Example:
Integrator Name - AP_INVOICE
SQL Where Clause – where invoice_type=$PARAM$.invoice_type
1st Parameter Name – invoice_type
1st Parameter Type – Varchar2
1st Parameter Prompt– Invoice Type Equals
Customer wants this Invoice type parameter values to be shown in a drop down list so that end user is forced to pick the valid value and download the data. How to accomplish this? Appreciate your guidance.

I need to customize a sap standard HCM portal according to my company needs.

Hi Saurabh,
Customization of portal page can be done in two ways.
1. Themes
2. With Par file
The defualt settings can be changed from Themes. Goto Syste Admn -> Portal Display.
You can check the theme settings, but before saving any changes just create new theme and save it, dont save the default themes.
You can customize the portal using par files, which can be downloaded from System Admn -> Support -> Portal Runtime -> Browse Deployment.

In order to customize the error message, you'll have to catch the exception in your WD component.
Please use Try Catch Block and there within the catch block you can specify your custom error message.

The problem is that I am receiving java exception NoSuchMethod error after customizing. Even though I revert it to the original one, I am receiving the same error. I did re-bounce the HTTP server.
The class is $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/po/communicate/POGenerateDocument.class
Am I missed any important steps?
