Have you made any changes if the setup was working before? What is the version of firmware running on the Cat 6500?

  • Application error 0xc000007b when trying to open premier elements

I have just downloaded Premier Elements 12 but it willnot run.  Every time I get an application error message 0xc000007b. I have re installed the system 5 times but with the same result. I have no problems with any other programme on my computer.  I have checked for viruses etc but to no avail.  Is this a set up problem

    ATR
Sorry but you are talking to someone who switches on a computer and expects it to work.  Unfortunately your question regarding device managers  and display adapters is all foreign to me.  I do not have a specific graphics card but have viewed movies in other programmes.  I have worked with elements for some time now and only have this issue with premier elements.
I have tried various methods suggested but they seem to lead down to paths requiring me to clean the computer by removing thousands of files.
I have a feeling there is some incompatibility between 32 bit and 64 bit loading but not sure yet where.
    Regards
    David

    06824 14:51:25 (0) **    - a missing WMI class definition or object.
06825 14:51:25 (0) **      (See any GET, ENUMERATION, EXECQUERY and GET VALUE operation failures).
06826 14:51:25 (0) **      You can correct the missing class definitions by:
    06827 14:51:25 (0) **      - Manually recompiling the MOF file(s) with the 'MOFCOMP <FileName.MOF>' command.
06828 14:51:25 (0) **      Note: You can build a list of classes in relation with their WMI provider and MOF file with WMIDiag.
06829 14:51:25 (0) **            (This list can be built on a similar and working WMI Windows installation)
06830 14:51:25 (0) **            The following command line must be used:
    06831 14:51:25 (0) **            i.e. 'WMIDiag CorrelateClassAndProvider'
06832 14:51:25 (0) **      Note: When a WMI performance class is missing, you can manually resynchronize performance counters
06833 14:51:25 (0) **            with WMI by starting the ADAP process.
    06834 14:51:25 (0) **    - a WMI repository corruption.
06835 14:51:25 (0) **      In such a case, you must rerun WMIDiag with 'WriteInRepository' parameter
06836 14:51:25 (0) **      to validate the WMI repository operations.
06837 14:51:25 (0) **    Note: ENSURE you are an administrator with FULL access to WMI EVERY namespaces of the computer before
06838 14:51:25 (0) **          executing the WriteInRepository command. To write temporary data from the Root namespace, use:
    06839 14:51:25 (0) **          i.e. 'WMIDiag WriteInRepository=Root'
06840 14:51:25 (0) **    - If the WriteInRepository command fails, while being an Administrator with ALL accesses to ALL namespaces
06841 14:51:25 (0) **      the WMI repository must be reconstructed.
06842 14:51:25 (0) **    Note: The WMI repository reconstruction requires to locate all MOF files needed to rebuild the repository,
06843 14:51:25 (0) **          otherwise some applications may fail after the reconstruction.
06844 14:51:25 (0) **          This can be achieved with the following command:
    06845 14:51:25 (0) **          i.e. 'WMIDiag ShowMOFErrors'
06846 14:51:25 (0) **    Note: The repository reconstruction must be a LAST RESORT solution and ONLY after executing

A Wmiprvse.exe process crashes in Windows Server 2008 R2 when you use the WMI interface to query the hardware status on a computer that supports the IPMI standard

I do not represent the organisation I work for, all the opinions expressed here are my own.
This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
I saw this in my googling.  Listed as the cause on the hotfix page is the following: "This
problem occurs because the Ipmiprv.dll module leads the Wmiprvse.exe process to crash. This behavior depends on certain hardware sensor types when the sensor is enumerated."  The
faulting module for that hotfix is ipmiprv.dll, and our faulting module is ntdll.dll.  I'm thinking that this hotfix isn't applicable, but I'm open to hearing why I'm incorrect if I am.

Could anyone please tell me where to look to determine the reason for this error - for example, would it be in the portal error logs or should I run an R3 trace?
Has anyone encountered this error before?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Keiron.

    Hi Dion,
Check the Product Availiblity Matrix in Service Market Place and check the IE compatablity with your portal and business package version.
Note : If this is not working then mention your portal, business pacakge and IE version.

  • "iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid 32bit application" error received.

"iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid 32bit application" error received.  I'm on dial up (no flames or stupid comments in reference to this please) with Toast using IE9.  I've uninstalled, deleted, and restarted my computer after each attempt.  I've tried with 32bit and 64bit.  I've tried at the local library using their WiFi connection and at home with the dial up.  I've tried running program and saving before running both download types.  This has been 3 days of work since the 24th all so my son can try and use his iPod Touch.  Is there no way of accessing iTunes with the iPod Touch without having it installed on the computer?  I'm sick of this and so disgusted with Apple right now.  I'm sorry that I'm on dial up, but out where I live, everyone is because there is no reception for phones or satelite.  And even coming to town to use the quicker internet here, it still was a 6hour plus download time.  And right when I click 'Run', it gives me this error message each time.
My son and my whole family and neighborhood after I've asked everyone's help with this problem has become fed up with Apple cause there is no disc they can mail me to get iTunes onto my computer and no one else we've asked can download it either.  One person has the program but its iTunes 7 and they can't upgrade because of dial up.  His iPod Touch will not even go to any other screen but the one that shows the plug and iTunes icon on it.  I would really appreciate some kind of help from someone cause we are all sick of this, my son is not happy, and this was supposed to be a Christmas present that he could use.  I can not even remotely begin to....well, I could fill this page with gripes but I would just really appreciate a knowledgeable answer that I can use to quickly fix this for my son's Christmas.  Please help.

Karen, this is far off-topic in a sense.  But I have a sister in the wilds of central MI.  No access to cable no way. And limited 3G minutes.
She finally opted for MiFi and can get much faster online access.  She is able to download to her iTouch, iPad and Mac laptop (3 y.o.) much faster than her old dialup.
It's worth checking if it might help. Hers is Verizon (http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobilebroadband/?page=products_mifi)
AT&T also has MiFi (http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/devices/att-mobile-hotspot-mifi-2372. jsp).
There may be others as well.
I am spoiled w/ cable but it's been great  for her.  If this is out of line or you've explored it to no avail please ignore.
Best wishes and hope these bumps get smoothed out.  Hope you have a good New Year and your son's iTouch problems get worked out.

  • Email Application Error ?!?!?!

Help - I have my Pre set up through both Yahoo & Cox email accounts. My Cox email account doesn't seem to be sending emails (receives just fine) and that's where my problem began. I tried to reply to an email and it obviously didn't go through so I received an "Email Application Error" in regards to this email. I've have since deleted the the email from the Outbox and both the Outbox and the Sent folders are empty but... I am still getting the error message and I have no idea how to stop the error message from popping up. Please Help!!
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

Greetings and welcome to Palm Forums
if you are still getting the error delete the email account from the pre, restart the device then add the email account back in if the origional settings do not work try this:
Cox Communications blocks outgoing unsecured IMAP communications that take place using Port 25. To avoid this issue and to ensure secured email, enable SSL on Port 465 and server authentication in your email client.
So  set up for incoming is same as home:
    mail type: POP
    pop.east.cox.net
    user name
    password
    port #110
    no encryption
    outgoing
    smtp.east.cox.net
    Use Authentication-OFF
    username
    password
    port # 465
    turn on SSL encryption
    good luck

  • Getting Firefox.exe Application Error on closing firefox

    <i>Locking duplicate thread.<br>Please continue here: [[/questions/1002236]]</i>
Hi I have Firefox Browser 29.0.1 and on Windows XP - and I am the least tech savvy person ever. Every time I close The Browser / Firefox I get a pop-up screen Firefox.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0301230e" referenced memory at "0x00000004", The memory could not be "read" click on OK to terminate the program. It dosen't appear to be affecting the operation of anything, but is annoying, regardless of whether I click OK or just close the box with "X" nothing happens - but I'd like to get rid of this, if possible

    Hello,
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
More information about reinstalling Firefox can be found [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems?esab=a&s=troubleshooting&r=3&as=s#w_5-reinstall-firefox here].
<b>WARNING:</b> Do not run Firefox's uninstaller or use a third party remover as part of this process, because that could permanently delete your Firefox data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and saved passwords. <u>These cannot be recovered unless they have been backed up to an external device!</u>
Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.

  • Application Errors Installation

    Hello everybody,
First of all, I want to specify that I'm not English native speaker. I want to apologize for the may be future mistakes.
My problem is the next :
Since few time I can't install applications anymore. You will se on the picture attached here the message, it's in French, but basically it's standing '' Error during the installation of the app ''. No problem about downloading, just installing.
Today, I chose to be patient, make a backup of my device, and use the function on blackberry link that put your mobile as the first day that you bought it. ( Don't know the exact name ).
After that, I've put back my data on the phone, using Blackberry Link, but the same problem still. And it's even worst because I lost all the application previously installed, and I can't install them again.
If anyone has an idea, it will be great !
    Thanks with advance

  • Application Error: "Shop not found"

    Hello Experts,
Hopefully someone can help with this strange error that is being returned.
When attempting to login to our Webshop, a limited numbers customers have reported receiving the following error:
    "An application error occurred
A serious system error has occurred
    Shop not found
    Contact the administrator"
The error logs provide the following detail:
    "Error     Panic     /Applications/UserInterface     com.sap.isa.isacore.action.b2b.StartApplicationAction"
For the vast majority of users, no such error is returned. Interestingly, it seems the error is linked to certain devices used as users who have received this error confirm that it is not present when attempting to login on another device.
Any idea's on where I should be looking to find the source of the issue?
    Thanks in advance.

Any further ideas as to where I could be looking?

  • Lotus Notes 8 Calendar Sync Problem (Application Error)

I am seeing an Application Error of the Desktop Manager v4.6 when I try to sync my Lotus Notes 8 calendar DesktopMgr.exe - Application Error:  exception unknown software execption (0xc000000d) occurred in application at location 0x082b31dd).  The problem started suddenly when I had v4.3, so I upgraded hoping the error will resolve itself but it did not.
I had this problem before and I think it was related to a calendar entry that had attachments.  When I deleted the calendar entry, the problem went away.
So now I am trying to locate the calendar entry when I force a one way sync from Lotus Notes to my 8830.  I looked at the log and it states the last calendar entry it read, so I deleted it and tried syncing again without success.  The number of records read is one less than before I removed the calendar entry.
So how do locate the calendar entry that maybe causing the problem?  What view in my Notes 8 mail does DM use to analyze my calendar entries?
    .... Leo

    Hello,
Well, I have just performed the update to the suggested PC Suite version and rebooted my PC.
Conclusion : exactly the same problem is happening.
I had a calendar entry whose description field was 2131 characters (including spaces). PC Suite failed to replicate the calendar and always failed with the following message : "Synchronization Completed, 0 entries have been updated". When looking in the replication log, you would find a "pc sync information" stating "PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronization", and another entry stating "The Synchronization has been aborted by the user".
If I truncate manually in Lotus Notes (8) this calendar entry to a much smaller description, then the synchronization succeeds.
This problem has been present since many releases of PC Suite. I hope Nokia will fix and once and for all !!!
I'm working at IBM, and I'm consulted by many colleagues who recognize me as their "technology" advisor. Up to today I must say that I have not been actively promoting Nokia as replication with Lotus Notes as always been suffering many issues. Compared to Windows Mobile devices or even Palm, it has no chance at all, as these devices do have GREAT synchronization capabilities with Lotus Notes.

  • Application Error in running jar file? What to do?

    Hi
I have a code for taking snapshots from a mobile camera.
I have installed the jar file in w810i(sony ericcson).when i run the jar file i get an application error? What to do?
I have tried another program to take a snapshot in this mobile.so device supports but could not understand why the error occurs.
    Please help me in this

    Hi supareno,
I did not try the Sun WTK snapshot app, but I do know that the Semacode MIDlet works on W810i, but that one does not try to set any snapshot format and that does not tell me much because I set formats, use AMMS and other JSR extensions when available on the phone, and so on, programmed in a way that should give graceful degradation on lesser devices (and this works on various devices from different brands). I do not have a physical W810i device so I cannot quickly experiment to find out what the W810i can or cannot handle (e.g., trying only null formats on the W810i?). It is unfortunate that the W810i does not give more informative errors than "Application error" at startup.
    Thanks.

  • Explorer.exe application error "Memory could not be written" ?! OS seems stuck now

(Model # m6-k010dx) My new laptop after 13 months automatically updated from windows 8 to 8.1 after I had said 'no' as many times as it allowed. After the update my files are still on it and most things are there but it seems 'stuck' and the orange screen keeps flickering like start to desktop so fast you usually can't even click anything in time to open it before it switches. I was told that the drivers probably needed to be updated first (eventhough I am pretty sure I kept up with all my other updates that popped up the only one I postponed was 8.1) and that I should refresh it, so I lose my programs but keep my files. I'm so sad I now lost Photoshop cs6 and my prefered antivirus (webroot) But anyway back to 8.0, it functioned fine aside from annoying pop ups to install norton antivirus no thank you, i bought webroot again. no updates were available.
I went to HP.com drivers update, searched for my pc and its correct update, and next thing I know is it's installing windows 8.1....??!
So again when it's 'done' and reboots, the screens flicker forever. I shut down, restart, same. so I put it back to windows 8...it will install 8.1 on its own any day now.. Please help asap!!!
Also forgot to mention when the screens are flickering, a few explorer exe application errors pop up on occaision. IE: "the instruction at 0xaa0c663c referenced memory at 0xaa0c663c. The memory could not be written. Click ok to terminate the program." was one the last time,
and the time before it, the initial windows 8.1 update when I still had Webroot antivirus, the pop up said "the instruction at 0x9b63663c referenced memory at 0x9b63663c. The memory could not be written. Click ok to terminate the program." the other pop ups the initial time came from Webroot - IE: "This file is trying to install itself to start every time the computer turns on  C: /Windows/system32/DrvInst (dot) exe" and gives the options to block, allow once, or allow always.
Another trying to install every time computer starts is "C: /WINDOWS/system32/wbem/WMIADAP (dot) EXE"
and another is : "Process ID: 4244
    Thread ID: 3460
    Event Type: Registry
    Access: Write
    Registry Key: /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Services/NDIS/IfTypes/131
    Value: IfUsedNetLuidIndices"
I searched all of those but found nothing. How can I have a smooth update? THank you in advance

    Hi @ASAP666 ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP ENVY m6-k010dx Sleekbook and trying to update to Windows 8.1. Before updating did you make sure your system was up to date with Windows. Here is something from Microsoft that might help.
Looking into this I have found that it is a driver issue usually associated with USB devices.
Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
Plug the power adapter directly into a functioning wall outlet. Do not plug it into a power strip, surge protector, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.
I recommend to do this update to disable your Anti Virus or Webroot temporarily to allow the update to go through.
Please let me know how this goes.
    Thanks.
