DAC processes the return status from Informatica incorrectly

Hi,
My Env Info is as below:
DAC: Build AN 10.1.3.4.1.patch.20110427.0538, Build date: April 27 2011
Informatica:*9.0.1 HotFix 2 (On OS windows 2003*)
Now, I am running the Siebel CRM-Loyalt execution Plan in DAC, but enccounter the below issue:
1)Some task start before its immediate predecessors finished
for example, <SIL_LoyMemberDimension> depends on <SDE_SBL_LoyMemberDimension> , the <SIL_LoyMemberDimension> starts before <SDE_SBL_LoyMemberDimension> successfully finished.
when checking the log, found that:
the time <SIL_LoyMemberDimension> started is just the start time workflow <SDE_SBL_LoyMemberDimension> start its first session in Informatica, and also, in the execution's detail info view, DAC marked the start time workflow <SDE_SBL_LoyMemberDimension> start its first session as the task's finished time.
This issue leads to many failures in building target table.
2)The task status in execution for informatica task is usually incorrect
when some session failed in a workflow, the workflow is failed too, but the DAC's execution will marked the task as successfully completed, which is incorrect and will lead to some future un-predictable issue
Anyone can help?
Thanks
Leon

I would suggest go for a new patch p13551596_101341_Generic this is latest (i guess)
If this doesn't help let me know will look into this issue.
If it is helpful, please mark as correct or helpful

  • How to change the IDOC Status from 30 to 03

    Hi Friends,
    In the Partner Profiles Collect IDOCS option is Selected and the Output mode is 4.
    In my Custom Program i am Using the Function Module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to generate the IDOCs
    I am getting the IDOCs of Status 30.
    then in my Custom Program, I am Submitting the IDOCs to RSEOUT00 program.
    to change the IDOC status from 30 to 03.
      SUBMIT rseout00 USING SELECTION-SCREEN '1000'
                   WITH docnum  IN  gt_range_idocs
                   WITH p_compl EQ 'Y'
                   AND RETURN.
    but still i am not getting the IDOCs of changed status.
    I need to get the Changed IDOC status and if the IDOC status is not changed then I need to generate an Error file for the IDOCs data and send that data to customers as a mail.
    so my requirment is to call the RSEOUT00 in the Custom Program and Change the IDOCs Status to 03.
      When i am Executing the RSEOUT00 Indidually by giving the IDOCs numbers, then the IDOCs Status is going to change to 03 from 30.
    Kindly Guide me how to proceed furthur
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ganesh

    Thanks Shrishit,
    RC1_IDOC_SET_STATUS changing the Status from 30 to 03.
    Its fine, But my Question is will IDOC Data will be reached to XI Server or not.??
    means is the functionality of this Program is same as the RSEOUT00.
    MY job is to change Status from 30 to 03 only
    and then Check the Status of those IDOCs, and if the IDOC is not sended to XI  i.e.;03 status, then I need to send the Details of IDOC (i.e.; data in filed IDOC) to Customer Mail ID through an Attachement.
    I hope you Understood my AIM, why I need to change the Status in my Custom Program only, by submitting IDOCs to this report .
    Kindly waiting for your reply,
    Thanks in Advance,

  • Return Status from RunCommand

    I am creating an operating system print command string on a Sun Unix box
    using enscript. When I submit the print string using RunCommand it works
    fine. However, if I specify a non-existant printer the RunCommand does
    not seem to provide any feedback to the TOOL code. I am using the
    ExitStatus attribute in OperatingSystem object to check. Is this a
    valid method for checking OS status?
    task.Part.OperatingSystem.RunCommand(command = runCommand, isSynchronous
    = TRUE);
    exitStatus = task.Part.OperatingSystem.ExitStatus;
    I have also added an exception handler to try to catch the condition. I
    am currently handling SystemException, FIleResourceException, and
    UsageException. None of these seem to get triggered when specifing an
    invalid printer name to the OS.
    Questions: (1) How can I return a status code from the OS to TOOL or at
    least detect the appropriate exception?
    (2) Is it possible to test for the existance of a network
    printer via tool code? For example could I ping the
    device and return a result?

    Gary
    I believe that the RunCommand does not return the OS Exitstatus to
    Forte. Attached to the RunCommand there are two parameters being
    stdfileout and errfileout. These files will capture the contents of
    stdout and stderr. When I call the OS via RunCommand, I append the
    following onto my command:
    lp fred;echo =$?=
    I then open and read the stdfileout and look for the string EOT =0=. If
    it is not there then my lp command did not terminate properly.
    This is not the cleanest thing in the world to do, but I know that it
    works. If anyone does know if you can trap the existstatus from
    RunCommand then I'd be really happy to find out about it.

  • How to get the return values from a web page

    Hi all :
       how to get the return values from a web page ?  I mean how pass values betwen webflow and web page ?

    Hi,
    What kind of web page do you have? Do you have possibility to for example make RFCs? Then you could trigger events (with parameters that could "return" the values) and the workflow could react to those events. For example your task can have terminating events.

  • Remote Object - not able to get the returned value from java method

         Hi ,
    I am developing one sample flex aplication that connects to the java code and displays the returned value from the

         public String setName(){          System.
    out.println("Name changed in Java");
              return "Name changed in Java";
    And I have configured destination in  remote-config.xml
    <destination id="sro">
       <properties>
        <source>SimpleRemoteObject</source>
        <scope>application</scope>
       </properties>
      </destination>
    Please help me .

    You are not able to get the returned value because if you see the Remote object help you will realise you have to use result="resultfn()" and fault = "faultfn()"
    In this you define what you wish to do.
    More importantly in the remote object you need to define which method you wish to call using the method class like this
    <mx:RemoteObject id="remoteObj" destination="sro" result="r1" fault="f1"  >
         <Method name="javaMethodName" result="r2" fault="f2"/>
    <mx:RemoteObject>
    r2 is the function where you get the result back from java and can use it to send the alert.

    Well known issue in LMS 2.6. Most likely you are hitting CSCsm97530. As a temporary solution you could remove and re-add problematic device from CS. To get a permanent fix you need a patch (provided by TAC).

  • How can I check the return status of a request using URLConnection?

    Hi,
    I am using the classes URL and URLConnection to connect to a remote server and make a POST request. The code extract is:
    URL u = new URL("http://.....");
    URLConnection con = u.openConnection();
    con.setDoInput(true);
    con.setDoOutput(true);
    con.setUseCaches(false);
    con.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
    DataOutputStream out = new DataOutputStream(con.getOutputStream());
    out.writeBytes(........);
    out.flush();
    out.close();
    Next, I would like to check the return status of my request. I need to see if the server returned status 200 (OK) or an error (e.g. 404). Is there a way to check this?
    If you are aware of another way I can achieve this whole thing I would be grateful if you could let me know.
    Thanks very much for your help!

    URLConnection doesn't have a getResponseCode
    method...
    But I found a link
    http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;:WuuT?bug_
    id=4191207
    that helped me found out that there is another class
    called HttpURLConnection:
    ((HttpURLConnection)conn).getResponseCode( )You should read the API:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/net/URL.html#openConnection()
    "If for the URL's protocol (such as HTTP or JAR), there exists a public, specialized URLConnection subclass belonging to one of the following packages or one of their subpackages: java.lang, java.io, java.util, java.net, the connection returned will be of that subclass. For example, for HTTP an HttpURLConnection will be returned,..."

  • How to Sort by the length of the returned value from a query.

    Hi,
    I was wondering if it is possible to sort by the length of the returned value from a query?
    For example if I want to get a list of people with the name 'Samuel', I would like to short by how short the length of the whole name is.
    Sort by length of the name in SQL
    Samuel Syda
    Samuel Indranaka
    Samuel Johnsons
    Samuel Longhenderson
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Sorting is done by an ORDER BY clause at the end of the main query.
    In most cases, you can ORDER BY any expression, even f it is not in the SELECT clause.  In this case, it sounds like you just need:
    ORDER BY  LENGTH (name_column)
    I hope this answers your question.
    If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data.
    Post your query, using an ORDER BY clause like the one above, and point out where that query is producing the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get the right results from the given data in those places.
    Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).

    Hi
    LMS 4.2.4 inventory collection fails with Error RICS0001:Internal Error,unable to process the collected data from the device for few devices.
    Can anyone help me out.
    Regards

    They are definately supported. However such issues are usually due to device packages, if unavailable or not installed.
    Please do following :
    1. Check Admin > software centre > device updates and check any devices packages available in Cisco.com and install it and recheck.
    2. Please do a snmpwalk on problematic device on sysObjectID and share result. Following is the way to do snmpwalk :
    GUI - Open the device in Device Centre (Inventory > Tools > Device Center) and open the device with IP and from tools select snmpwalk and do it for sysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2)
    CLI : CD to NMSROOT/objects/jt/bin from command prompt. run command as per following syntax:
    snmpwalk -v2c -c <snmp_community_string> 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
    Example :
    community string = test123
    IP = 10.1.1.1
    snmpwalk -v2c -c test123 10.1.1.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
    3. Please check your device package, by clicking on the number of packages in front of Inventory, conifg and image management from :
    Admin > System > Software Center > Device Update

    One more question about NSDP, Im still wondering how can NSDP work as you only need to declare nsdpInfo.setKeyColumn("xx") --xx
    Eg. My result set come from OBIEE, it hase 2 column xx and yy.
    Im just copy the sample code to translate the output into xml, the output sample is like:
    Column 1 Column 2
    440100 0
    440200 5
    440300 1
    So how can MapViewer know that the second column is the value column?
    The same question is about when the output is multiple column.

  • When charging, the battery status from 95% suddenly jumps to 100%

    Hi Guys!
    I just bought my Xperia Z1 last month, i haven't full charge to 100% my battery since the the first 8H charging the time i bought. I always charge when the status 20% and below, but never flat. Now I noticed that the battery status from 95% suddenly jump on to 100% within a matter of seconds.
     Please help.... don't know the cause, is my battery already damaged or spoiled?
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well with any battery you need to cycle it completely once ina  while. Charging it from 20% back to 100% is actually detrimental if you do it on a regular basis.
    Sometimes let your phone dicharge completely then charge it completely to 100%.
    The issue you are facing however could also be due to the battery capacity being detected wrongly.
    Try going to *#*#7378423#*#*  on your dialer and go to diagnostics and check battery health.. if it reads over 300000 then you are fine... Its not your battery.

  • Movement type: moving the returnable package from one customer to another

    Hello,
    I would like to know if there exists any predefined movement type (in transaction MIGO) which would allow to move the stock of the returnable package (material type LEIH, pallets etc.) from one customer to another IN ONE STEP (now we do it in 2 steps: first we return the stock from the customer to the our location and then move it to another customer). When we sell material to the customer, the stock type for the returnable package has the mark for special stock type (''V'').
    I tryed types 301V and 309V, but the customer had to be the same. It only allows to move the pallets between different plants for the same customer.
    Best regards,
    Mojca Kukman

    Hi
    There is no such movement type. Customers always look for one-step transactions and the only way to achieve this is through ABAP!
    Normally I do this:
    Create a Z-txn for customer input and on saving create 2 material documents (as in 2-step process).
    Best regards

    hi all,
    In E-FILLING In year Movement process were are getting an error from the government gateway HMRC.
    The error is "The supplied IR mark is incorrect" Error  2021.
    Most of the sapnotes that I found on SDN or marketplace have been implemented by us as we are currently on SAP_HRCGB - SAPK-60432 support pack level but still the error persists.
    Can you please explain that are there any configuration entries for In Year Movement process that need to be maintained or the configuration table.

  • How to store the return value from a select list in page item ?

    I'm sorry, I'm sure you will all flame me for this (and its long too :-(. I'm still trying to pick this up and havn't had time to read manual and this forum and up against the clock (as usual), but this must be something thats simple to do, otherwise why have 2 cols on LOV (display text and return value.
    normal kind of thing - master /detail, a master table and a detail table, master.id is PK in master, master.name is the name of the master item. detail.id is pk in detail, detail.mid is foreign key to master.id. I have a tabular report that displays a join of cols from master and detail, with 2 cols being links, one is a link on master.name, that passes master.id to page P1 and it displays a row from master. The other col displays detail.name and passes detail.id to page P3, P3 displays a row of the detail table.
    I want to populate a LOV with possible master.name values, but display the name of the current P3_MID value (from detail.mid). Then a user can pick a different master and it needs to update P3_MID so on submit it updates the row.
    I just can't seem to see in the manual how you can specify where the return value on a LOV goes?
    As I said, sorry for long post and not having had time to read docs correctly - someone just point me at the subject matter somewhere, please.

    Sorry, I was trying to be to complex and obviously APEX is just too damn cleaver - I figured out how this works - basically APEX pulls the LOV and then matchs the mid to it to display the correct name - simple and easy - just me making it difficult
